Chapter 11:

Behind the desk: Giggles stood on the left, Iceberg in the middle and Boulder to the right.

The Girl placed down the flyer on the desk and slid it closer to The Sharks.

Iceberg: Well...I wouldn't know since the only stupid person I can think of is yo-

Boulder clasped a hand over Iceberg's mouth while Giggles stepped in front of her to cover from view.

Giggles blew out a breath, causing her side bang to float for a second. Then placed a hand on her hip and narrowed her eyes at the intruder.

Giggles: Look. We don't want to cause any trouble for you guys. So, we suggest you leave.

The Girl laughed.

Girl: You've already caused trouble.

She snapped her manicured fingers.

The uniformed group which consisted of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls, started heading towards one of the other neatly organized tables.

That is until they were stopped by Boulder and Iceberg.

Both sides glared at eachother.

The girl mockingly smiled at Giggles.

Girl: You know we have to do this, right?

Giggles smiled and imitated the girl's annoying voice.

Giggles: You know we won't let you, right?

They squinted their eyes at eachother in a challenging manner.

Boulder pointed at the group in front of her.

Boulder: If you think you'll all ruin this after I've spent HOURS on doing it, you're wrong as h*ll!!!

Boy: What did you say!?

Iceberg: In other words; screw all of you.

The group's anger rose.

Just as they were about to charge, the double doors opened.

Lawrence: I'm pretty sure she said something about 'being in the library after school'.

Kyle: I hope they're here...

Matthew: Seriously...why are you even looking for them...(sighs) This is a waste of time.

Kyle: Shut up Matt! You disfigured a guy earlier!

Matthew: Because I thought he knocked Ren out cold!

Kyle: I know buddy, I know.

Lawrence rubs his head.

Lawrence: My head still hurts.

Matthew: She banged you in the head with a metal tray. Notify me if it didn't-

Matthew stopped once he saw what was happening ahead. Lawrence and Kyle looked at him confused. They followed his sight and stopped as well.

The group and The Sharks were staring at the three of them.

Lawrence hid his face.

Lawrence: Well their busy, let's go!

Just as they quickly turned around to flee, the girl who stood with Giggles shouted confused.

Girl: Lawrence?

They froze.

The girl approached them, surprised.

Girl: Matthew? Kyle? What are you three doing here? Not that I don't love your company...but we didn't actually tell anyone about our visit...

Kyle and Lawrence smiled nervously.

Kyle: We...um...came here...to...

Lawrence: Surprise you.

Girl: Surprise me?

Lawrence: Yes. Are you surprised? Clearly you are. Our work here is done, come on guys!

Girl: Hold on a minute!

The Sharks looked at eachother confused. Eyebrows scrunching together.

The boys turning, froze once again.

Girl: Why aren't you in your uniforms?

Matthew: Because I don't want to be. Do you wanna know why I wear underwear too?

Kyle slapped his arm.

Kyle: Dude!

Matthew: SHE KEEPS ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS!

Girl: Yet none of you answer.

Lawrence stepped closer to the girl.

Lawrence: I'm sorry. (Voice low)

Looking into her eyes, he placed a hand on her cheek. Caressing her with his thumb.

Lawrence: Is it okay if we discuss this tomorrow?

The girl melted under his soft gaze and touch. An attention she longs for.

Boulder and Iceberg looked at eachother. Gagging.

Girl: O-okay.

Lawrence: We'll be going now.

Iceberg: pft. (mutters) finally.

Lawrence looked at her. Then at the girl in front of him.

He pointed at Iceberg.

Lawrence: Leave that one to me.

The girl nodded.

Lawrence: On second thought. Now that we're here...why don't you guys leave? We'll handle them for you.

A wide smile grew on Kyle's face.

Girl: (surprised) Really?

Kyle: Gladly! (Added excitedly)

Girl: Well...if you guys insist...make sure they learn their lesson.

Matthew grunted.

The uniformed group left. Now only The Sharks and the boys remain in the library.

Boulder and Iceberg started talking and making fun of what the girl had said.

Iceberg: A lesson?

She looked over at Boulder.

Iceberg: You've been a very bad girl Boulder.

Boulder: We've been so naughty~

Giggles looked at Matthew with an innocent smile.

Giggles: Teach me a lesson Mr.Matt. (Eyebrows up an down)

Matthew scowled at her.

Iceberg: Spank me with a ruler.

Boulder: Handcuff me to the desk.

Iceberg: Cover me with chalk.

Lawrence: Kinky much?

Iceberg frowned at his interruption.

Iceberg: Buzz off.

Lawrence: Well don't you guys have creative fantasies.

Iceberg: Yeah. But nothing like the real experience, right Larry?

Kyle got closer to Boulder.

Kyle: I'll handcuff you wherever you want.

Boulder: Get away from me.

Giggles looked at all of them.

Giggles: So you guys are from that school.

Lawrence looked at her.

Lawrence: You caught us. That's correct.

Giggles: Then why are you here? Our schools hate eachother.

Lawrence: We're here for community hours. Your principal begged ours for role models. With all that's happened in just a few days, I could see why.

The Sharks squinted their eyes at them.

Iceberg: Your school is no better.

Matthew: Pft. (Scoffs) Enlighten me.

Iceberg: It's full of spoiled little brats that only care about benefits and themselves. Anyone different from them is garbage. (Scoffs) No wonder I didn't like any of you from the start.

Lawrence frowned.

Boulder: Leave! None of you are welcomed here!

Kyle saddened.

Giggles: She didn't mean that...

Matthew: I never wanted to be here in the first place.

As Matthew left, Lawrence stepped in front of Iceberg, whom had her arms crossed over her chest. He looked down at her, seriously.

Lawrence: (chuckles darkly) You'll fall like all the others. You'll see.

Eyes showing dominance and challenge.

She stared up at him, unfazed.

He then left, following Matthew.

Kyle looked over at Boulder. Sadness in his eyes.

Kyle: I'll see you three tomorrow...

He then joined the others.

Giggles sighed.

She wanted the six of them to know and get along with eachother...but today really backfired.

Giggles: This sale wasn't such a...great idea...
