from the moment the new housemate came , it was very awkward.

she rarely left her room but even with that condition , the members avoided going to the living room and the kitchen and the shared part of the house as much as possible.

we were at the living room watching baseball games when she opened the door to go to bathroom , she kept her head down, not minding us and hyunsuk and yonghee who were talking stopped as soon as she came out from the room.

this cant go on like this, she seem to be staying her for a long time . so we have to make things clear. about the rules and everything.

when she came back from the bathroom she headed straight toward her room.

"ehmm, rian shi" i called out and from my peripheral vision i saw the members glaring at me , they were still super awkward with her same with me.

"ye-yes" she seemed shocked that i called her, and she thought i would ignore her like the other days.

"can you sit down so we can set the rules of the dorm?" i asked and she blinked twice before nodding.

there was no space on the sofa so she sat beside yonghee on the floor and crossed her legs under her.

i cleared my throat before i started speaking.

"well it looks like we have to live together like this for a while so i think we need to set some rules and chores " i started speaking for everyone. they all nodded while listening to me.

"so we have to set a schedule" i recommended. and they all just nodded.  i blinked looking at them why is no one saying anything?.

"how should we divide the works?" i asked as i looked at them asking for them to speak up and then byounggon hyung saved me by speaking up.

"first we should know what are the chores we have in the house" he said and we all started listing them.

"breakfast" hyunsuk said.

"the  dishes"  rian said and it felt like the first time i heard her talking in a long time, except the first day

"cooking lunch" younghee said.

"we are going to eat lunch in collage so i think its unnecessary" bx hyung stated his thoughts and the members nodded understanding.

"but we need someone to make dinner" he pointed out and then a thought came to my mind.

"shopping" i said all smiley , well because that was the job i wanted to do.

"cleaning and vacuuming "jinyoung said since he always like the place he lives in to be clean.

"ah we forgot about laundry " hyunsuk said and they all nodded but my eyes widened as the thought crossed my mind.

one person did the laundry but now we lived with a girl and we cant let her wash our clothes or us washing hers.

but the others didnt think about it this far so i had to let them know. i starting making weird faces at hyunsuk so he could understand my point as i refused the idea.

"i think its better for each of us to wash our clothes individually " i said normally so rian-shi wouldnt know what i was thinking about.

"ani wae?" hyunsuk said ,confused as he didnt get the point . damn him. i rolled my eyes internally .

but when i made eye contact with byounggon hyung, he understood my point right away.

"i agree with him too. " he quickly said as he changed the subject so others wouldnt object.

"so we have dinner ,breakfast, dishes , shopping and cleaning. that makes five jobs while we are six" he explained .

"it means we either divide a job for two persons or someone gets lucky enough to not do any work" he smiled ,mischievously.

as some of us smirked thinking about the idea of not doing any chores.

"i think we should divide the dinner making "younghee and rian said but the jinyoung , hyunsuk and bx hyung wanted to go with the second idea. so they all looked at me for the final vote.

i gulped before speaking but as soon as i opened my mouth the boys glared at me and younghee and rian high-fived me.

she was getting more comfortable as we were talking not really comfortable but absloutly more comfortable.

"so how would we decide the who does what?" i asked.

"by random paper choosing or rock,paper ,scissors and the winner would choose the work they like" jinyoung said.

we all smirked as we sat down on the floor and prepared ourself for rock,paper,scissors. as it would be more adventurous than randomly choosing.

"kawi bawi po" we all said for the first round but it didnt match so we repeated for the second time and we  all laughed as bx hyun continuously whined after he lost accusing us of cheating

and the third time hyunsuk lost , the forth time we all matched , then for the fifth round younghee lost

"oww, kang rian i should admit you are not an easy opponent" i complemented gaining a grin from rian

she was getting more ease with us after playing i could see,

i lost during the sixth round and the finalists were rian and jinyoung.

the air became tense as both of them got competitive about winning and jinyoung has always been competitive so i wasnt suprised but rian also? tsk tsk tsk..

during the seven round both matched so it became more competitive , it was funny to watch now as an audience now that i have lost.

they matched once again now both of them where glaring at each other. and saying 'just lose already' with their eyes.

i bit my lower lip to stop myself from cracking and when they did it again jinyoung won and "Yessss" he said as he jumped in victory and the guys cheered for him.

rian just sighed feeling frustrated.

"so what do you want to do now ? our winner?" i asked jinyoung ,busting up his already busted confidence.

he acted as if he was thinking when he already knew what he wanted just to make us nervous. our breathe hitched waiting.

'please dont choose shopping please' i begged him in my mind.

he rubbed his chin before smiling evilly.

"shopping" he smiled as he raised his hand as if saying i chose mine now you guys continue.

my heart shattered but i have to live with it and then we all looked at rian in the same time making her shy again.

"emm, since i hate cleaning and doing the dishes and i cant wake up early " she started talking.

"i will choose the dinner" she smiled and it was my turn now.

i hated all the remaining works but i had to choose one. i hate my life. fml.

" i would do the dishes" i sadly said.

"i would do the dinner with rian" hyunsuk chose.

"i will make breakfast" yonghee said happily as if he got the best job ever, i frowned , cooking breakfast is annoying why would he enjoy it?.

"i dont have a choice, do i?" bx hyung whined like a kid.

he looked cute, even thought he was the oldest hyung , he acted like our youngest since he was so soft and kind.

i clapped " now everything is settled , congratulation on ur jobs and we will start following it from tomorrow" i said as they all clapped along even if they weren't stratified.

"and we have to each pay 40$ for buying the necessary things" jinyoung said as now he was in charge in shopping . i glared at  him for stealing my job but we all agreed to give it tomorrow morning.

"goodnight" we all said as we went into our rooms.

and slept the night away.
