Even though Takeshi did everything he promised he would do to her on their wedding night.  And even though her mind and body was tired from all the sex they had.  She knew something didn't feel right.  

The sun was close to rising, but the darkness of the night still held on strong.  Forcing her eyes to open and her tired body to move, she sat up slowly looking around at her surroundings.  Not seeing anything, she listened, letting her ears be her eyes, but still there was nothing she could hear.  

Something inside of her told her something was wrong.  She tried to wake up Takeshi, but once he was in a deep sleep, there was no hope to waking him up.  Takeshi hardly lets himself let go and lets his body sleep so deeply, however with more guards posted up for his wedding and his physical activity with Lihua, he thought it would be safe enough for him to do so.  

When she tried slapping him a second time and he still didn't wake up, she left his side and quickly dressed in the white enchanted clothing they found in the hut when they still lived in the cave.  Her hair fell down past her waist as it waived side to side as she walked.  When she opened the door, Eli, who had just replaced the male servant from night watch, bows to her lowly.  

"Lady Lihua.  What may this servant help you with."  Eli asks somewhat confused.  The report the male servant told him was that they were at it the whole night.  Shouldn't they be still asleep?  

"Find guards to stay by your Master's side and guard him well."  Lihua said as she made her way out of his quarters.  "There is something wrong."  

Eli panicked a little as he listened to his new Mistress.  They have all seen her practicing her martial arts in the courtyard over the several months while she lived there with them. She wasn't as strong as their master, however she could hold her own and beat most of Shiro guards and Devil's Soldiers.  

"Try to have someone wake him up."  Lihua tells Eli.  "I'll go check out whats wrong first."  

"I'll have the guards go check."  Eli said trying to dissuade her into not going. "You can reassure that---"

"No." Lihua interrupted.  "I feel they will need my help."  

"But--"  Eli started to say.  

"Just try and have just one wake Master Shiro up." Lihua said.  

Eli gave in and dispatched ten Devil's Soldiers  to watch and try to wake up their Master while Eli had alarmed the guards of danger.  They called Takeshi's personal guards, Devil's Soldiers because of their fearlessness and fortitude.  They went through special training, developed by Takeshi himself to test the men and women for three months.  After the three month of strength, will, qi, grit, courage, loyalty and righteousness test, did they finally become a part of Devil's Soldiers. 

The whole estate was on lock down while everyone searched for an intruder. Along with their Mistress, Eli, Xin, Ethan and ten of the Devil's Soldiers came with them.  Lihua's feet carried her to the cherry blossom and plum blossom forests. Xin and Ethan walked in front of Lihua, while Eli and another solldier called Benji walked behind behind her.  The rest of the guards spread out as they walked through the forest in a line listening and watching for danger.  

As they walked deeper, they felt something wrong.  Something sinister surround them.  As they raise their awareness the sudden feeling of being watched stopped them in their tracks.  

"It should be up ahead."  Lihua tells them. 

"Lady Lihua, you must go back."  Ethan tells her.  "Should something happen to you.  Master Shiro will never forgive us."  

"Should anything happen to you guys, I could never forgive myself."  Lihua tells them.  "Especially since I know I can help, I could never forgive myself if I ran away.  How can I be proud to call myself Lady Shiro if I leave my people behind to face danger while I tuck my tail between my legs and run away to save myself?  How can I face Takeshi afterwards?" 

"Lady Lihua, it is our honor to protect you.  And should we die protecting you, we die with honor that we did our job and with a peace of mind that you are safe."  Xin whispered.  

"No one's dying today." Lihua tells them.  "Not if I can help it."  

Lihua looks at the Devil's Soldiers in their eyes with determination and conviction.  

"Together we proceed forward, we face danger together, together we fight, and together we survive."  Lihua tells them.  "I will bring Hell King's name down in shame if I run away now. Proceed."  

The soldier's hearts rang out in pride towards their new Mistress.  Which caused them to be more determined to do everything within their hands to protect her.  They all created a protective barrier around Lihua and started moving towards the evil aura that they felt.  

With each step the evil aura became thicker and thicker.  It tested their will and their hearts not to run back to safety.  With their training that Hell King put them through, had prepared them to face any and all dangers.  If it was hard for them, they wondered how Lady Lihua could stand being under such pressure. 

They walked to the middle of the forest.  The petals of the cherry blossom and plum blossom fell as the wind blew, a foul stench could be smelled in the air.  They soon saw in front of them a green gas  wall.  They all stopped walking when the gas wall move forward towards them.  

"Poison."  Lihua said. 

"Get back."  Ethan ordered everyone.  

While everyone started taking steps back as they watch the poison gas wall come closer, Lihua instead walked towards the green poison gas.  

"My Lady."  Xin called out trying to stop her.  

"Poison can't kill me."  Lihua tells them.  "Only I can stop the man that controls this poison gas.  Make sure the gas doesn't touch your skin and prevent anyone, Master Shiro included, stop them from passing through the gas wall." 

Before any of them could say anything to stop her, Lihua activated her qi and sprinted forward, towards danger.
