"Shh."  Thorin comforted Chiyo not believing her.  She was just upset, so she was talking nonsense.  "Everything's going to be okay.  Daddy will take care of everything."  

"No, Daddy.  You don't understand."  Chiyo said as she pulled back.  "Lady Lihua--" 

"She's is someone we'll forever be indebted to."  Thorin interjected.  

"Daddy!  You have to listen to me!"  Chiyo yelled.  "Dai!  Takao!  Sora!  Listen and listen well! Lady Lihua is Grandma!  Grandma is alive!"  

Thorin saw the desperation his his daughter's eyes begging him to believe her.  He felt embarrass that his grown daughter would say such things.  Maybe it was due to what Prince Aiguo did to her that she's acting this way.  

"Chiyo--" Thorin started to say.  

"No!"  Chiyo shouted as she pulled herself out of her father's grasp.  "Lady Lihua is Grandma!"  

"Chiyo--"  Thorin said again as a warning.  He didn't want to insult Hell King or Lady Lihua in anyway.  He didn't want to cause any trouble to them than they already have.  

"She's right."  Lihua blurted out.  

Takeshi took hold of her hand.  He wasn't expecting her to admit to it so soon.  But seeing the desperate situation Chiyo was in, Lihua's soft heart couldn't bear to see her suffer any more.  

"She's right."  Lihua said again.  

"See I told you!"  Chiyo said excitedly.  "I know I'm not the only one thinking this.  There was something about Lady Lihua that reminded us of Grandma!  We just couldn't put it into words nor did we have any proof.  I mean how could we?  Grandma died a year and a half ago, how could Lady Lihua be Grandma?  But why is it that she shares the same name as Grandma?  Why is it that she reminds us of Grandma, as if we can so easily talk to her as if not a day has passed by since her death?  Why is it that Lady Lihua takes care of us?  Watches out for us?  Decides to align herself to us?  How did Lady Lihua know about the Hunter and the Bird?  How does she know which song Grandma use to sing to us to calm us down and cheer us up?  How does she know all of this without even meeting Grandmother?  There's only one answer!  And that's Lady Lihua is Grandma!"  

"Chiyo--"  Thorin said softly as his heart beat wildly.  He couldn't refute his daughters words nor could he argue with Lady Lihua admitting it, but it was too much for him to believe.  His mother died almost two years ago, how could she now be Lady Lihua.  

"She's right."  Lihua said again.  "I know it's difficult to believe.  But I am who she says I am."  

Thorin was shocked.  Lady Lihua admitted to it again.  How is this possible?  

"I think we should all sit down and talk about this."  Takeshi said drawing their attention to him.  "I think it's best if we talk while sitting down."  

Takeshi led the shocked group of Devil's Soldiers and Lihua's family towards the bottom of the waterfall.  Finding a cave, Lihua sent her lions in to check out the cave before they made camp there that night.  

No one said a word as they arranged security shifts for the night while the rest made their way into the cave after they lions came back safe and sound.  

They all sat in a circle as Takeshi sat to Lihua's right as Chiyo sat to her left.  Both of them held on to her hand.  

"When I died.  I thought I would meet your Grandfather on the other side.  I was ready.  It has been a long time since I've seen him and I looked forward to it.  It was dark at first then there was light and then darkness again. "  Lihua slowly said.  "Next thing I know, I'm in a dark cave and I could hear the dripping sound of water.  The Young Miss that died, her name too was Lihua Lei."  

The guards couldn't keep the disbelief to themselves as some of them gasp in surprise.  The Young Miss Lihua Lei was said to have died of sickness.  How could she be their Mistress?  How could there be a different soul inside the Young Miss?  

"Before her soul left her body, she wanted me to help her take revenge on her family.  They have treated her poorly and even killed her.  They watched her as they poisoned her everyday for a year while pretending to be her friend.  She died not knowing what love is.  Not knowing how to live life.  She died an innocent.  So I decided with my second chance at life, I would ensure that her last request for revenge would be accomplished.  And that I would live a good and full life for her. And for the past six months I have been successful.  The Lei family here on Cara Country has fallen from such great heights.  They will soon perish from history and live a beggars life."  Lihua tells them.  "When I finally realized that I transmigrated to another body on another country, you don't know how excited I was to come find you guys again and tell you that I'm still alive.  That Grandma's luck has always been too good and has even cheated death!"  

Her grandchildren smiled at her words.  Yes, their Grandmother did cheat death, but how?  

"Takeshi and I, we planned on traveling to Bido Kingdom after we have taken care of business here on Cara Country."  Lihua told them.  "I was planning to telling you guys then, knowing that there's a chance of you guys not believing me, I still wanted to let you guys know that Grandma Lihua lives. I planned to get to know you guys now so later when I visited we wouldn't be strangers."  Lihua tells them.  "One of the reasons why Takeshi and I decided to come to Phantom Mirage is because of you guys.  We wanted to make sure all of you guys came back alive." 

"That's why you suggested the alliance?"  Thorin said.  "It makes sense, but I still can't believe your words." 

"You were always an independent child while growing up.  Being the youngest, you saw how strong and independent your siblings were and thought that you have to be just the same.  So you became strong on your own, far surpassing your siblings in the martial world.  There was never a time you were scared.  Except when something happened to the people you love.  Only then you would show emotions."  Lihua tells him.  "You cried for the first time since you were 13 at your father's funeral.  The last time you cried was at my death bed as you said goodbye." 

Without him noticing, tears fells down his face.  

"And now that you realize that I am your mother."  Lihua said holding back her tears.  "Although I may not look like the mother you know, my heart and soul is the same."
