Family
Lihua laughed out loud when Takeshi said he was a grandpa. She couldn't imagine him as a Grandpa with his youthful looks. Lihua knocked him on the head to get him to come back from where ever daydream he went when he said he was a grandpa.
"It only makes sense!" Takeshi said as he rubbed his head. "They're your children, which makes me their new Dad. And they're all married with kids, which makes me their Grandpa. And some of them have children, so that makes me a Great Grandpa!"
"You don't have to if you don't want to." Lihua quickly tells him.
"What do you me I don't have to? I married their grandma didn't I!" Takeshi said as she hugged her tightly. "I take full responsibility for you and your family. Besides I've always wanted a huge family!"
"Really?"
"It has always been me and Nao against the world. However to have a brother as the future king can be lonely at times. There were times I wished my half brother Ryo would stop being such an asshole for a second and play with us or eat with us. Now I can have a huge family like I've always wanted, thanks to you!" Takeshi said as he hugged her tighter.
"We still have to convince them that I'm me." Lihua tells Takeshi. "What if they don't believe me? What if they don't accept me? "
"They are your children." Takeshi said as he hugged her tighter. "What does your heart say?"
"That it'll take time for them to accept me and the fact that I'm still alive. But they'll be happy that I'm still here." Lihua said into his chest.
"Then there is nothing else to think about." Takeshi said. "We shall reveal to them who you are and let them know that their precious mother, grandmother and great grandmother is still alive. When do you want to visit them?"
"Not yet." Lihua said quickly. "I have to make sure Prime Minister Lei has lost all of his powers before meeting my family again. Once all my business here is concluded, only then will I be comfortable enough to meet them."
"Okay." Takeshi agrees. "Where ever you go, this grandpa will go too!"
Lihua punches Takeshi on his chest. "Don't call yourself that! Only I can call myself Grandma!" Lihua chases him through the garden as he calls himself Grandpa and Lihua yells at him that she's the only person there to hold that title.
The guards and Eli scratches their head in confusion. Why is their Master and Mistress calling themselves Grandpa and Grandma all of a sudden? They don't even have children! Let alone grandchildren!
----
Later on that night over dinner she explains to Takeshi about her family.
"My oldest son, Akihiro is 58 years old, he too, like his father is a bodyguard for the Lei Clan. He's married to a fearsome woman named Suna. Don't cross her or you'll find a dagger between your ribs with a smile on her face. They have two sons, Kenta who's married to Momo and they have a son and a daughter. Michi is 8 and Kayo is 6. Their second son is Masa who is married to Mina and they have one daughter, Aya who is 5 years old."
Lihua stopped as she took a sip of her tea.
"Then my child is my eldest daughter, Nala. She's 56 and married to a good, hard working man name Aoi. They own their own fabric dying business and make pretty good money. They have two children Mika and Tasha. Mika is married to Laura and they have one child, Hiro who is 10 years old. And Tasha who is married to Jun, and they have one daughter Aoi."
Lihua told him with a smile on her face.
"My third born child, is my daughter Fumie, now 55 years old, married a rich merchant Daichi. They have three children, Kasumi, Mari and Sora. Katusmi is married to Ronin and have two children, Daisy, age 8 and a son Skylar, age 5. Mari is married to Robert and they have twin sons, age six, Albert and Allen. While Sora who is 28 years old plans to travel the world, so he doesn't have anyone he fancies yet."
Lihua looked at Takeshi to see if he was paying attention.
"Last is my son, Thorin, age 53. Married to a sweet woman, Ayisha. Thorin is a teacher. A private teacher that rich nobles hire to teach their son how to be great fighters and have a great mind at the same time. He was the Crown Prince of Bido's teacher for 18 years!" Lihua brags. "He and Ayisha has four children. Rika, Dai, Takao, and Chiyo. Only Rika is married out of the four, to Romo They have a son, Seri who is 3 years old and a daughter, Mimi, who is 2 years old. The rest of the children, Dai, Tako, and Chiyo all aim to be strong and educated like their father. They too want to become teachers to noble families and to the royal family."
Lihua put her chopsticks down and looks at Takeshi.
"I'm hoping to meet my grandchildren during the Phantom Mirage Tournament. But I'm also hoping not to see them at the same time." Lihua confessed. "I know how dangerous that place is, Thorin went once when he was 13 years old. I was so scared for him, but he has always been a strong boy, never needed his mother or father to help him to do things, but when he came back, he became a different boy. What ever happened at the Phantom Mirage, changed him forever. He promised that he would never go back. But I have this feeling that a couple of my grandchildren might be attending the tournament."
Takeshi takes her hand into his and slightly squeezes it.
"What are you thinking?" Takeshi asks.
"I want a chance to go in to the Phantom Mirage and experience what Thorin experience." Lihua said. "If my grandchildren so happens to be apart of the people who compete or gets chosen to go into the Phantom Mirage, I want to be there to help them survive."
Takeshi nods understanding her. "Okay, lets do this together. I'll tell my brother that I'll compete in the tournament and we'll get first place easily. When we win, I'll take you along with the 30 people included to enter Phantom Mirage."
"Thank You." Lihua said as she kisses his hand.
