Hier Kommt Die Sonne

"Kat...I wanted to give you something special for your 20th birthday, but seeing that it's still quite a while away...I thought giving it to you now, that we arrived in Egypt, would have more meaning." Joseph told me, as we were waiting for the Speedwagon plane.
"Grandpa, you know you don't have to give me anything, right?" I patted his shoulder with a gentle smile, but here merely shook his head.
"The more I look at your green eyes...The more I spend time with you, the more I'm reminded of Caesar and how I wish he was still here...But he would be happy that you took after him so much." His smile was nostalgic, and his eyes looked almost as if he was about to tear up.
"What are you...Saying? My eyes are like my father's, not like a Zeppeli's. I mean...I look nothing like a Zeppeli." I looked away, biting my lip.
"None-sense! I spent enough time with Caesar, and trust me when I say it, whenever I look in your eyes, it's almost as if I look at him. Here, let me put this on for you." he took out a purple and orange bandana from his pocket and tied it around my forehead nicely, then took a step back and laughed. "Well, I'll be damned! Caesarino would have been so proud to see you taking on his legacy!" Joseph grinned, poking my cheek where my birthmark was.
"This...This was his...?" I asked, barely audible.
"You bet it was! He fought the Pillar men with it! It was his trademark! He was such a casanova, ha! When he died, he entrusted his last Hamon to me, including this bandana, and I've been wearing it the whole time when fighting evil! In fact, I bet this was my lucky charm and the reason I didn't die, when I should have!" he laughed melancholic, and I could only bite my lip hard, trying not to cry.
"Are you sure you're okay with giving it to me? He gave it to you, after all. His best best." I asked for reassurance.
"Of course I'm sure! If he were alive, he'd have given it to you himself, but I hope you don't mind I took that role in his stead." he ruffled my hair, but before long, I threw myself at him, hugging him tightly, trying my best not to tear up, despite tears prickling at my eyes.
"Thank you, Gramps. It's the best gift anyone could have given me." I muttered in his embrace, as I heard a few loud coos from around us.
"Are y'all sure Katrina isn't Mr. Joestar's actual grand-daughter? Jotaro, are you sure you're related for real?!" Polnareff laughed, patting his shoulder.
"Yare Yare...Enough with the sentimental crap, the plane just arrived." Jotaro pointed out, and we hurried towards it.

Apparently, this new addition to our group, which is supposed to be our back up, has some personality issues, but is The Fool Stand User.

"The Fool? That sounds so stupid!" Polnareff laughed, but Avdol seemed to know who they were talking about.
"We're lucky he's not out enemy. You'd lose for sure." Avdol declared solemnly.
"The Fool card is mostly about new beginnings, beginner's luck, improvisation, having faith in the future and believing in the universe. If you ask me, it's quite a controversial card, I wouldn't want to fight against it." I explained, shrugging.
"Oh, shut up, Know-It-All. Nobody cares about your stupid card analysis!" Steph sneered at me.
"As if I care about your opinion." I rolled my eyes., approaching the helicopter, as the pilots came out.

They told us the Stand user is in the backseat, only to have Polnareff go there and piss it off, and Joseph and the pilots trying to warn him to fuck off.

Next thing we know, a dog jumped on Frenchie, tearing apart his hair and farting in his face, which made us all stare in shock and confusion since honestly...What the hell?
Then, this Iggy pup activated his super neat Stand who fucked up Frenchie real bad.
I laughed so hard that I took the Coffee gum treats from the pilot and put the whole pack in my pocket, only taking out one, and kneeled down in front of the pup.

"Hey, sweety! You've been on such a long and tedious journey, poor thing, you must be so tired. Do you want a nice treat? Here you go!" I grinned, letting him take the gum from my hand chewing at it like a beast. "You're so adorable!" I gushed over him as he wagged his tail happily.
"Well, at least he likes one of us. That's shocking." Joseph sighed in exasperation.
"He ruined my beautiful hair, that fucking asshole!" Polnareff complained, but I only turned my gaze at him, glaring.
"Oh, shut up, Frenchie! It's your fault for provoking him! You deserve it! Iggy is a sweetheart!" I defended the pup, as I took one more gum, taking away the paper and showing it to him. "Will you give me a little kiss, Iggy?" I giggled, as he jumped in my lap, licking my cheek, before taking the gum from my hand. "See? He's lovely!" I grinned, getting up with Iggy in my arms, to my chest.

Before Joseph destroyed the polaroid camera, he decided to get a picture with all of us - minus Stephanie, and honestly, it was so cute that I told him we should take a few more, and they agreed.

"Sweet! Now we all have such great memories we can keep! One for each of us!" I grinned at them, putting the picture in my wallet for safe keeping.
"We will look at it with nostalgia some years later." Kakyoin declared, looking fondly at the photograph in his hands.
"Hey, Nori, Joots, wanna see something funny?" I smirked mischievously up at them.
"What do you have in mind?" Jotaro asked, and I signaled for them to come closer.
"Iggy, I will give you 3 gums if you start chasing Polnareff around. Deal?" I whispered in his ear, which made him immediately jump from my hands and run after a Frenchie in distress.
"AVDOL! GET HIS TREATS AND TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME!!!" Polnareff cried out, trying not to let the dog catch him.
"But they're not at me!" Avdol answered in confusion.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!" he shrieked as Iggy managed to catch up to him and destroy him, making us all laugh again.
"Told ya it would be fun!" I giggled, as I let Iggy jump back into my arms, giving him 5 treats instead.

After that, we found out that we have less than 2 weeks to save Holly, and the fact that there are 9 other Stand Users who are after us, and Dio is still in Cairo.
While chewing, Iggy snapped his gaze towards a high hill, but I had no idea why, so I just pet his head.

We got in the car, with Joseph and Jotaro in the driver and passenger seat, myself and Iggy with the entire back seat, while the other 4 were occupying the back, which honestly was so hilarious, but I was enjoying laying down so leisurely with him in my lap, chewing gum, while Frenchie complained.

What we weren't expecting was for an unexpected break from Joseph, which launched the car forward, only to see the helicopter that just came by, crashed, with one of the pilots clawing at the side of the plane and water in his mouth.

"That's weird, why would there be so much water and even a fish...? This looks like drowning...?" I examined him in confusion, before the others found the other pilot, in a bad state, and giving him the flask of water, he said that the water's gonna kill him...Which is exactly what it did.
"GET BACK, IT'S AN ENEMY STAND!" Joseph exclaimed, and we all went backwards.
"This must be one of Dio's men." I grumbled in annoyance.
"Jotaro, look for the enemy!" Joseph ordered, but he was already at it.
"I already am, but...There's nobody in sight. I even looked for a mirror like that idiot with Sun had. It looks like the enemy is controlling it from far away." he explained, putting down his binoculars.

Polnareff and Kakyoin were together by a dune, Joseph was with Jotaro by the car, while Avdol and I were with Iggy.
What we weren't expecting was for water to suddenly spawn next to the idiot duo and claw Kakyoin's eyes, which got us all yelling, realising that the water ITSELF is the Stand.
Joseph had to remind Frenchie to stop panicking, but just as the water was going to attack him, an alarm sounded and it attacked it.

"It attacks by sound!" Avdol figured out, but I was still thinking.
"Are we sure it's sound and not vibrations? Sounds ARE vibrations after all, and the water hiding underground could mean that it was waiting for vibration. We should test it and see." I suggested, as Polnareff carried Nori to the car, and the water started attacking them.
"SHIT, THIS THING IS FAST!" he cried out, just as I jumped off the car hood in their direction, making sure to jump as hard as I could just as I passed by the water, to make sure it follows me, which it did.
"GREAT, I WAS RIGHT! NOW WHAT DO I DO?!" I cried out, running around aimlessly, seeing how Polnareff managed to get Kakyoin to the car.
"Can't you control the water?!" Joseph asked, which kinda annoyed me.
"YOU THINK I DIDN'T TRY?!" I asked, when the water attacked the place where I was, making me fly away.
"Get away from there, Katrina!" Avdol shouted, and I did a backflip, before I called out Lilium, jumping to the car, using Wind to float until I got near them.
"Damn it, Kakyoin..." I mumbled, using Water to heal his injuries, but it didn't last long until Iggy jumped out of the car and just then, it got attacked, and we were grabbing on it like the victims of the Titanic. "Iggy, you can predict where the enemy is, can't you? Run away! Don't stay here where it could attack you!" I shouted at him, but he merely stood there, sleeping, which was very weird.

We then quite literally went flying off the vehicle, and we had to not move at all for a few, before realised what was going on.
Avdol started throwing his bracelets, baiting the Water as if those were steps, which worked and Avdol tried attacking it with Magician's Red, only to get himself slashed on the neck.

I started running away again, as the Water was going to attack Avdol and kill him this time, and it started, but I was fully aware I couldn't outrun it...

"Katrina, what the hell are you doing?!" Jotaro's voice called out firmly.
"I HAVE NO IDEA, I HAVE NO PLAN! As long as it doesn't kill Avdol, it works!" I called out, before I did a few side flips to get rid of the Water.
"Yare Yare Daze...You're an idiot sometimes." he called, and the next thing I know, the Water isn't chasing me anymore, and I see Jotaro running away, picking up Iggy, and soon enough, floating with Iggy's Stand.
"Well I'll be damned..."
I muttered, completely shocked, before going to Avdol and healing his injuries. "Are y'all okay?" I asked, before I finished healing him.
"We're fine, but what about Jotaro?" Joseph asked in concern.
"Jotaro has Iggy, they'll be fine." I explain, but I was also worried about them.

When Jotaro returned, he told us what he found out from the enemy, N'doul, and how there are 9 Egyptian Gods this time, no more Tarot cards, so it was pretty interesting, to say the least.

1 down, 8 more to go.

Iggy jumped in my arms immediately, laughing at Jotaro for the little prank he did by putting chewed gum in his hat and him putting it in...

"Awww, Iggy, you're the most diabolic being in this world. I love you so much." I laughed at Jotaro as I kissed the top of Iggy's head, giving him some gum.
"I think you're more diabolic than him, right now." Jotaro sighed, putting his hat on once again after cleaning it.
"Your hair is still kinda messy, but at least there's no gum sticking to it." I giggled, nudging him arm as we got in the car and let Joseph drive away.
"What a mess...Why are you guys so loud?" asked a groggy voice.
"Kakyoin?! Are you alright?!" I asked, panicked. "Don't get up, you need to keep your strength." I said in a gentler voice.
"I'm...Okay...But my eyes hurt." he grumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"No, no, no, don't do that, you'll only hurt yourself. We're getting you to the hospital. Don't worry, it's nothing bad, but you should rest properly." I assure him, stroking his hair.
"I see...Thank you, Kat." he nodded, laying back down, keeping his eyes closed.

We soon managed to arrive at the hospital and let Kakyoin in good hands, and let Avdol rest as well, while at it, before we chose a little pub...Or better said, we let Polnareff throw his cigarette and that's how we chose it.
It was pretty shitty and the waiter was creepy, but we ordered 5 black teas.
However, Joseph was worried about potential poisoning, so he thought colas would be better, which made the waiter freak out. He specifically made sure to ask for certain Colas and we'd take the caps off ourselves.
However, the colas were warm, so Polnareff suggested to go next door...But Polnareff's cig burnt it down.

We then settled for the black teas, before Iggy started jumping around other customers' tables, stealing away food, which made us spit out teas and run after the dog.

I and Joots decided to go walk around the place and go to the Hospital to check on those two, while Joseph, Polnareff and Stephanie chose to go by car, so we had some time to chat, like we didn't in a while.

"Will they be okay?" Jotaro asked simply.
"Yeah, they will. Avdol is doing well, but I hope Kakyoin will be okay too. I mean, I managed to heal up most of the damage, but I hurried too much and I didn't go too in depth with at the eye, since it was too close to the optical nerves." I sighed, crossing my arms to my chest.
"Yare Yare...That's a real pain." he tipped his hat.
"Yeah...I know...It really is." I sighed, tightening the bandana around my forehead.
"Will you tell me about the dream thing?" he asked out of a sudden.
"Huh? Why are you so interested about that?" I asked, snapping my gaze towards him.
"You were upset by what happened back then. You and Kakyoin dismissed everything after that, but you still seemed pissed at us." he explained, which made me look away from him, scratching the back of my head.
"Ah, well...Yeah, I guess that's not wrong. I mean, I don't hate you, obviously, but that was a bitch move from you guys." I explained, waving my hand away.
"Was it really an Enemy Stand user?" he asked in a serious voice.
"Of course it was. Death 13 was the Baby's Enemy Stand. In the last night, it got us all in the same dream, ready to kill us...But Kakyoin and I had our Stands out before we fell asleep...Well, more like myself, since Kakyoin was knocked out cold by Polnareff, but we managed to use our Stands in the dream world, defeated the Stand, hence why we could remember everything, unlike you." I explained simply with a shrug. "I'm not asking you to believe the story, but-" I continued, but I was cut off by his voice.
"I believe you. You were desperate to be believed back then, and we should have believed you. I am sorry." he apologised, which made me stop dead in my tracks, looking at his back as he made a few more steps.
"Uhm...Th-Thanks...I guess. I wasn't expecting you to care about something as insignificant as this." I muttered in shock.
"Ever since your sister appeared in the picture, you've been on the edge. I can see you're constantly watching her every move...Do you think she's working for Dio?" he asked, obviously trusting my instincts now.
"I wouldn't put it past her. She always wanted to make me feel bad. It's like it's her only goal in life or something. Always has to remind me how horrible I am and how it's my fault we don't have a family." I raked my fingers through my hair, looking down in annoyance.
"Why would it be your fault?" he frowned, looking at me.
"...Because it was." I spoke, barely audible, closing my eyes. "I don't deserve Caesar's legacy. I don't deserve to have a future. I don't deserve to live. I know you're gonna argue with me again, Jotaro. You're a sweet guy, despite trying to appear all cold and whatever...But I know better. However...I can feel it. I've been restless ever since she appeared. Something bad is going to happen. And...I'm...I'm afraid. And I'm not sure what I'm afraid of...Am I afraid of Death? Am I afraid of getting hurt? Am I afraid that one of you will die for my sake? I've caused enough death, there shouldn't be more." I sigh, gritting my teeth in anger.
"Yare Yare...I have never hit a woman in my life, but I swear, if I hear you talking bullshit again, I'll punch you in the nearest wall." he rolled his eyes, flicking my forehead. "I told you already, nobody's gonna die on my watch, so stop talking shit, it doesn't suit you. You're supposed to be smart and rational, so act that way." he continued, but I merely shook my head.
"Not everyone can be as calm and collected as you are, Jotaro. Everything is an act for me. I'm always freaking out, I'm always sad and I'm stuck in the past. But this isn't about me and nobody is supposed to know all of this, since it's none of their business and nobody should pity me. Now, enough about this, we've arrived at the hospital." I walked ahead of him, but a familiar voice called out to us.
"Oh, if it isn't Jotaro! When did you catch up to Kat?" Joseph asked as he got out of the car.
"Yo, took long enough." Joots greeted them.
"Long enough? You sure take quick dumps!" Polnareff spoke out, which confused the both of us.
"What do you mean? We walked together from the city until here." I blinked in surprise at their words.

After the whole confusion and an ambulance coming with 2 new blown victims, but we didn't care about them.
Thankfully, both Avdol and Kakyoin were okay to come, the wound didn't touching the pupil, but he had to wear some pretty neat sunglasses which made him even cooler.

And so, we started walking along the Nile, until we decided to camp for the night.
I tended to the fire while the others got logs and started making food, and as soon as we finished eating, we stood in silence, before Joseph, being the extrovert one, decided to talk.

"You know, Stephanie, you look a lot like your Rosalie and Sofia when she was your age." he grinned at her, which made me stiffen in my place between Jotaro and Kakyoin.
"Well, of course I know! I have the Zeppeli bonde hair and green eyes! Uncle Caesar would be proud to have me as your niece, right?" she grinned, throwing shade at me.
"Of course he would! Caesar always loved his family, he'd be proud of all of you!" he explained, and while it made her smile even harder, it made me see darkness in front of me.
"Hah! That only means Katrina ain't that special! See, sister! I told you! You're nothing special after all!" she cheered, throwing it in my face.
"You don't have to remind me all the time, I haven't forgotten since the last time you told me." I rolled my eyes, wanting to disappear already.
"You have that stupid carrot hair just like that fucktard father that left us!" she insulted me, to which I could only nod.
"Yes, dear sister, I know. I see it every day in the mirror and I'm reminded of the fact that he left because of me. Do you really have to make a drama out of everything in front of people you don't even know?" I tilted my head to the side, very bored and annoying.
"I have a certain satisfaction when I make you feel miserable." she laughed, which made me groan.
"Okay, I understand. Good night, then." I got up, ready to make my sleeping bag, but she wasn't done yet.
"What, you're not smart enough to get that you're the reason my life has been a mess since the beginning?!" she got up, yelling at me, and the net thing I know, I backslapped her, making her fall to the ground with a loud squeal.
"Say that again, Stephanie. I dare you. Say that again." I growled, glaring down at her.
"I said that you are a dumb bitch who ruined my life, that's what I said!" she jumped back up, getting in my face.
"Listen here, you little brat. I don't care what you say about my terrible looks, about my horrible personality about...Literally anything. But there's one thing alone that you should now, and that is that the fact that my ego and pride are infinite and if you insult my intelligence...Well, you really piss me off. And I don't think you want to see me pissed off, okay, sister? Take it as a...Friendly warning, okay?" I gave her a poison smile, before pushing her away from me.
"Who the hell do you think you are, threatening me?!" she yelled, but I only turning to look at her with a smirk.
"Michael Corleone, bitch." I mused, before going to do my sleeping bag.

I took my sleeping bag farther away from the others, not wanting everyone to catch on how incredibly pissed off I was, but Iggy was sweet enough to sleep cuddled with me.

I don't know when I fell asleep, but I was awoken my Iggy nudging my face with his nose and tugging at my hair, and as soon as I opened my eyes, he quickly went to Jotaro and Kakyoin, but I was still too groggy to understand what was going on and why he was so afraid.

"Iggy, darling, what happened?" I spoke in a soft voice, seeing the others slowly get up as well.
"What a stupid fucking mutt! Why the hell did ya get around to wake us up at this hour?!" Polnareff scolded Iggy, but Jotaro got up and pointed in the distance.
"It seems we may get attacked." he grunted in annoyance.
"Do you think this is one of those 9 Stand Users Dio sent us?" Kakyoin asked, as the man approached, only illuminated by the setting moon and stars. Sunrise was going to come soon.
"Oh my God..." I gasped, once I took a peak at the long red hair that was flowing barely below the man's shoulders.
"Another enemy already?! We just defeated the last one!" Polnareff exclaimed, rubbing his eyes to wake up.
"Yare Yare...Show yourself! Are you another one of Dio's minions?" Jotaro asked firmly.
"Of course I am! Dio is the reason I live! My past, my present, my future!" the green eyed man smirked, showing off his fangs.
"Impossible...No way...This...This can't be..." I muttered agitated, hiding behind Joseph, clutching at the back of his shirt.
"Oh...? What is it that I'm seeing there? A little fox hiding behind an ancient relic?" he chuckled, staring intensly at me.
"Why...?" was the only thing I could ask, yet I wasn't sure my voice was even heard.
"Why what, my darling daughter? You've always been my favourite, you know? You are just like me! You truly became The Sun!" Adam laughed patronisingly.
"No...No...No...! I'm NOTHING like you! I hate you! You're the reason mum died!" I shouted at him, gripping my hair in anger.
"That's...Your father...?" Kakyoin asked in shock.
"What do you mean, my dear Volpina? Aren't we both the worst we could be? We are foxes, dear! Liars! Deceivers! Traitors!...We always hurt the ones we hold dear to us! Don't you agree? I told you before, you are like the Sun, and that's how it is! You always burn everyone who comes anywhere close to you! We are the worst, Katrina!" he laughed like a maniac, as I fell on my kneed, feeling tears desperately streaming down my cheeks, trying to block away all the trauma and flashbacks coming rapidly.
"Father...?" Steph gasped in shock, stepping towards him fearfully.
"Dear Stephanie is here too, and how she looks just like Rosalie! Tell me, Steph, who killed your sweet and kind mother? Can you say it? I'm sure you remember very well." he challenged her and her already existing hatred for me.
"Katrina! It's all her fault! Mum was killed by her!" Steph cried out in hatred.
"What are you saying, Stephanie? Rosalie hanged herself!" Joseph tried to defend me, but I was already too far gone.
"I killed her...They are right. It's true. For 2 years after father left, she kept telling me how I look just like him...How I sound just like him...And she couldn't look me in the eyes without bursting in tears. The stress of being with me killed her...Haha...I really am the worst, aren't I? If only I was brave enough to run away...If only I could have burnt myself alive, or gouge my eyes out...Maybe she'd still be alive..." I could feel myself trembling like a leaf.
"Don't listen to them, Katrina! They're just manipulating you!" Joseph called out, but I could only shake my head.
"Mum wrote it in her suicide note. She wrote how much she hated Katrina and how bad she feels leaving me alone in the world." Stephanie blamed me, and rightfully so.
"Don't you want to avenge mother, Steph? Kill Katrina and join me! Together we can serve Lord Dio eternally! I will turn you into a vampire like me!" Adam extended his hand towards her.
"Shut the fuck up already." Jotaro's pissed off voice echoed, as he karate-hit my sister, easily knocking her out and handing her to Avdol.
"Let's just kill this shit head and het this over with!" Polnareff took out his Silver Chariot, but Joseph stopped him.
"You can't kill him with a Stand, he'll just regenerate back." Joseph explained.
"Then how do we defeat this guy?" Jotaro asked, taking out Star Platinum.
"You can't. You can't use Hamon, but I can. Take care of Katrina and wait until I defeat this guy." Joseph glared, preparing his Hermit Purple.
"No...I will kill him. He's my father, my responsibility...I've done enough bad in the world already...If you were to get injured for my sake...I'd lose it." I mutter, getting up, still glaring at the ground numbly.
"You can't kill me! I will kill you one by one, beginning with you, Jotaro!" Adam cried out, forming a huge transparent wall between us and Jotaro.
"Jotaro!" everyone screamed, seeing Star Platinum throwing a barrage of Ora Ora punches, but instead of dying, the hole in Adam's chest quickly regenerated.
"What the hell..." Kakyoin gasped.

When he wasn't looking, I summoned my Stand and created a tunnel under the ground, behind my father, and getting out, I punched him in the back, sending him flying away.

"Hamon: Overdrive!" I shouted, feeling that ripple energy surging through me.
"Y-You...You can use Hamon too?! You stupid little vermin! You're really trying to kill the only being to ever love you?! Don't you understand?! You will kill everyone! You will be forever alone! They will all leave you! You're incapable of love, just like me!" he shouted in rage, getting up and glaring at me.
"My name is Katrina Zeppeli and I am Caesar Zeppeli's own blood! Yes...I am The Sun, in all kind of ways! I already knew everything you said about me, but you failed to realise that I've come to accept my fate since long ago. My uncle died at 19 to save JoJo...And if I am to die under the same circumstances, then so be it! I will die with no regrets, knowing that I protected the people that I hold dear to my hear...That showed me that my heart is still capable of beating!" I stand my ground proudly, getting in a fighting position, just like Jotaro taught me.
"You're only lying to yourself, you goddamn bitch!" he shrieked as he lunged at me blindly.

We kept throwing punches at each other, but as I punched him away, he took out his Stand, throwing thorny tendrils at me, cutting my skin deeply.

"Katrina!" I heard Jotaro's concerned voice, as those tendrils roped themselves around my wrists, blood gushing out in fountains.
"Sucker..." I growled as I used Hamon's power to drag the tendrils towards me, along with him, and hitting his head as hard as I could with my own, making him release me as he went stumbling to the ground. "I guess I've been told my whole life that I'm hard-headed...I guess I'll have to agree now." I chuckled weakly, panting in exhaustion, trying to regain air.
"I'll make you pay for this!" he shot tendrils at me again, but I jumped on one of them, flipping to avoid the other ones, and jumped behind him, punching him with Hamon once again, and this time around, he remained permanently injured on his shoulder.

I then created a wall of water just as he was about to hit me, and thus, I was able to send an even more powerful Hamon at him, since liquids are great Hamon conductors.
That doesn't mean that, as we kept fighting, he didn't manage to make my right leg barely able to move because of the pain and blood loss, nor that he hasn't slashed my arms, torso and neck bad enough to make parts of my clothes rip and get bloodied.
I was on the ground, struggling to get up, much like him, but a malefic chuckled echoed through the starry night.

"You piss me off...SO much, daughter...SO, SO much...But, I wonder...How will you react when you see your dearest Jotaro ripped apart?" he smirked wider as he shot tendrils at him.
"JOTARO!" I shrieked his name as I pushed myself from the ground, sprinting towards the boy, and just as he was about to be impaled, I threw myself at his side, letting the tendrils impale my abdomen, making me gasp in pain and shock.

The only thing I could see in front of me was Caesar's bandana fly away into the horizon...Which revealed the Sun slowly peaking to rise.
I could hear distant screams of despair and feel blood rapidly leaving my body as I felt myself being thrown around like a rag doll by a bratty child, and then I was slammed on the ground so hard that a small crater appeared.
I could only stare blankly at the sky above me, hearing the bastard's victory laugh.

"Katrina, what the hell did you do?!" Jotaro took me n his arms, keeping my head up.
"Help me get up....Please..." I grumbled, as each vibration my voice made sent new surging pains my body.
"You're already half dead, you idiot! Heal yourself before you get back into the fight!" he scolded me, but I could only grit my teeth.
"Don't make me repeat myself." I tried getting up myself, which is when he helped me up.
"You have a plan, don't you?" he muttered, helping me stay up.
"No. Yes. Maybe. I don't know. Lilium! Wind of Change!" I called out my Stand as I felt her touch my torso, sending wind through my body to get enough oxygen to be able to breathe and create Hamon. "I am...Katrina Zeppeli...I've known for a while that I'd die and I've accepted my fate...But if I have to die to protect Jotaro...To save Holly...And the Party...To defeat Dio, the man who brought so much suffering to both my family and the Joestars...Then so be it. Because...I have nothing to live for, but I have everything to die for. Because...Because...Maybe I'm not as heartless as you think. Because, father...I love Kujo Jotaro with all my heart and that's the only thing that's keeping me breathing right now!" I managed to speak, standing a bit prouder, and I could hear gasps of shock around me.
"How fucking STUPID of you! He'll never love you! Nobody will!" he preached, but I could only chuckle.
"I'll be dead anyway, so rejection is the least of my worries. You, however, will die very soon. Father...You wanted The Sun, and you've got it. Hier kommt die Sonne!" I threatened him with a smirk, pointing towards him, imitating Jotaro. "Enter Sandman!" I called out making spikes come out of the ground where he was standing, which made him jump forward.

I run towards him, making fire-Hamon blasts attack him, and after throwing a few more punches and taking some as well, I managed to punch him, impaling his chest with my hand and sending water droplets through his blood circulation, I jump back and punch him with a powerful Hamon: Overdrive, making him explode, his head being the only thing still standing.

"You're dead...Fatality, just like in Mortal Kombat!" I smirk weakly, barely able to see or stand anymore.
"You fucking traitor! How dare you kill both of your parents?! Scum! Nobody's gonna miss you! You'll die with me!" he kept shouting as I picked him up y the hair, staring at him in the eyes.
"I truly hare your eyes." was the only thing I said, before I used my Earth power to shoot 2 spikes through his eyes. "You can't see it now...But the Sun is rising. The Sun kills vampires...The Sun will be your demise." I informed him passively, as I looked into the horizon, admiring the Sun rising in the sky, killing my father.

As I got my revenge, I could hear the wall separating us from the rest of the party, crumble, but I could only look at the Sun.

There was a graveyard silence, where nobody spoke and just stared at me, as I smiled up at the Sun in serenity, feeling my conscience starting to slip.

"Jotaro...I told you, didn't I? That I was The Sun? Everything I said was true. Now you can't say I was bullshitting you anymore." I chuckled weakly, turning to gaze at Jotaro's freaked out visage. "Well...At least I can get a look at you one more time before I die...And maybe, for the first time...I will be Icarus. I will be the one having my wings melting...I won't be the one burning everyone anymore. I love you...And everyone else. I truly do. I'm happy that I had the honour of protecting you. Goodbye...JoJo." and with one last smile, my conscience left me in a dark abyss, and I fell...Hearing everyone calling out my name.

And I fell.

And I fell.

And I kept falling.

Darkness and Vertigo were mixing around, making me dizzy and completely unaware of anything going on around me.

And I wouldn't stop falling.

I was alone.

And it all ended.
