You know how there's always supposed to be a hero appearing out of thin air to save the day and cure any problems?Yes?Heh,tell that to those who first became infected with the Darkness.Actually,don't.Besides the fact those people have been dead for a long time,they'd tear you to shreds if you tried talking to them.No,they're not like zombies,they're just evil.Here's the log from a scientist who tried curing the Darkness.

Log 1:We got a new patient brought in.We've seen some gruesome stuff but this isn't a pretty sight.The poor guy's veins are showing,and they're blacker than the night,yet tinted blood red.He screams 24/7.We'll give him every known medicine to cure him.I hope this works.
