Chapter 3

Brown: The lowest class there is. No one's even sure what color their clothes originally were, because they're all hand-me-downs.
Orange: The second lowest class. Mine. The lower working class, the criminals.
Orange/Brown: The criminal class. The people in prison or that are arrested are issued these colors. Often regarded as the second lowest class instead of Orange.
Blue: The third lowest class. This is the average working class. They are like the normal people of the world. They have average jobs, average lifestyles, they have average personalities.
Orange/Blue: The 'servant' type people. Maids, servers, etc. They're practically right in between Orange and Blue classes. Often regarded as lower than Blue but higher than Orange.
Grey: The judicial class. These are the members of the court, other than the bailiff. They are neutral. Slightly above Blue class, they have a better pay rate and lifestyle, but there's a catch: they must always remain neutral unless in the vicinities of their homes.
Black: Somewhat the same rank as Grey in the hierarchy, Black class is mostly the militia. The guardsmen are a good example.
Black/Other: The soldiers. Their uniforms are a combination of mostly Black and whatever color their original class is represented by. Sometimes the soldiers are born into Black (although rare) and can remain full-Black soldiers or become a guard, which many consider the better life.
White: The wealthy class. Whites are often seen wearing some Black garments as well, for not much of a reason other than it's harder to look dirty. Whites wear the majority of their outfits as white, however.
Gold: The money class. Bankers, tax collectors, etc. Hated widely but still one of the wealthiest classes out there.
Purple: The nobility. The top of the chain. No taxes, no problems. Not much is known about them.

Those are the classes of Haven. Haven is where we live, one of the last 'safe' places out there. They tell us the Classes protect us, that together we all form a rainbow, but what they fail to realize that a rainbow has more colors.
And you can walk through rainbows.

Due to this problematic analogy, the 'rebels' have created new 'Classes':

Red: 'The fire that spreads.' These are your stereotypical rebels. The teens who gather in streets, the adults that smuggle weapons. Black does a pretty good job at snuffing that flame, though.
Green: The 'Peace' class. They want everyone to 'come together' and be 'one big happy family,' but we all know that's not going to happen. White snaps its fingers, and Black stamps Green right out. Most Greens live in hiding now.
Indigo: The mythical class. Everyone's heard of it; no one has been assured of its existence. It's almost a religion.

So, there you have it. The 13 classes of Haven. The 'rainbow' of safety.

No wonder this world is going to Hell.
