The 3rd generation of Oberois was not as United as their parents.

Abeer and Aadvan had their own rivalry...both did not leave a single chance to demean eachother

Same was the case with Adira and Naira.

Only Rishan and Abhi shared a companion ship as brothers, just one year apart they were thick as thieves. Twins from another mother.

For Rishan who is fondly called as Rishi by his loved ones life was either black or white there was no space for grey in his life...just like his omkara uncle.

And for Rishi, Ahaan was that grey character.

Ahaan a cute lil
cyclone, messed his life up alright but he didn't realize when had he become so much important for him. Though it started the day he met him for the first time, his fierce nature, that hell of an attitude and that mischievous twinkle that made his brown eyes sparkle he was too adorable and innocent but his ego wouldn't let him admit that and because of that it took him time to realize his worth,

But he would never admit that he adored this youngest cousin of his cause Ahaan was always a bone of contention between him and Abhi.

Abhi who was always at loggerheads with Ahaan for no reason whilst Rishi loved Abhi too much to make him upset in anyways.

though Ahaan would rarely show up to college with his busy schedule since he represented the college in competitions and also the evening work at ASR enterprises but when he would..Abhi would leave no stone unturned to bully Ahaan.

Abhi who was speaking to Harshad and Rishi banged into Ahaan who basically had his headphones on.

Abhi:(frustrated) out of all people mujhe issi ka chehra dekhna tha kya

Ahaan(with a bright smile): a very good morning to u too Abhi bhai...u know jab kisi se bahot dino baad milte hai toh smile karke greet karte hai aise bhaloo jaise shakal nahi banate.

Abhi: Will you stop freaking smiling for a moment. Tumhe hamesha khush hone ke reasons kaha se mil jate hai.

Ahaan: Mera muh main hasu yah roun naachu yah gaau aapko kya

Rishi:(spit the water that he was drinking water and started laughing uncontrollably) Tu Anupama dekh ke aaya hai kya🤣😂😂

Manik:(smiled sheepishly) Haa woh Dii itna dhyan se dekh rahi thi...toh Thora dekh liya

Abhi: you people are hopless chal Harshad ham...kyu iss looser ke muh lage

Flashback

The rivalry between Abhi and Ahaan roots back to their school days at Warrior High school, which was actually a boarding school.
Though Ahaan basically was their since childhood, but for a time being even Abhi had to spend a brief span of his life there when

A music competition was held at the school

Abhi and Harshad had founded the band of bros a music band
Ahaan joined in later as a lyricist as the band was short of 1 member as per the rules of the competition

Ahaan was a fat kid actually back then

Ahaan and abhi were allotted the same dorm

Abhi was so dejected
Abhi: yaar Harshad mujhe uss champu ke sath ab room bhi share karna padhega
Hadd hai yaar mujh jaisa cool dude with that champu

Due to his weight no one wanted to see him as a rockstar
PPL underestimated him

But once when Abhi lost his voice on the stage  Ahaan stepped in, in place of Abhi

And ppl were mesmerized by his voice

Abhi could not stand that someone else especially Ahaan was getting more appreciated than him...his ego was bruised and Harshad was fueling the fire

From then on Abhi decided to sabotage Ahaan's reputation as suggested by Harshad, but as Abhi was called back to the oberoi mansion when Omkara was settled with all the financial crisis as Abeer was successfully launched in the industry. His vendetaa remained unfulfilled much to Harshada dismay.
But now when they met ahaan in space academy again they had decided to finish their unfinished business.

Rishi's pov

Things were not always this heated up between ahaan and Abhi

I still remember the time Ahaan was born

Flashback
(Ahaan's birth)

Ahaans birth was distressed. Shivay couldn't really bother to look after the baby as it was still in the incubator.

Rudra felt guilty it was due to his incapability and his dad's greed that Shivay had to step into the company as it was going through a financial crisis, out of guilt Rudra started looking after the baby ...he wud take every update about him and also spend a lil time with him to monitor the baby as it was in incubator.

All his vitals had stabilised now the baby was able to breath on his own without the breathing equipments

But the doctors were awaiting for him to open his eyes

All these 3 months the baby had not opened his eyes

One day Rishi nd Bhavya accompanied Rudra

Rishi being just 5yr old child himself was amazed to see such a tiny lil baby

Out of curiousity he touched the babies chubby lil soft cheeks and as a miracle the baby opened his cute lil honey brown puppy eyes and stared at him without blinking and gave a bright smile by holding Rishi's lil finger in his small lil fist which was already there near his cheeks

Rishi(all excited): Mom look, isne Mera hath pakda, the baby is smiling at me.

Rishi was awed.

While Rudra and Bhavya were stratled as the baby had suddenly opened his eyes.

Rudra immediately called the doctor.

After the checkup

Rudra:(tensed) Dr ab Baby kaisa hai...is he fine now

Dr: Mr.Oberoi ur baby is a fighter it's a miracle that he has survived warna his birth was really distressed.

Bhavya: But isne jabse ankhe kholi hai he is just smiling yeh ek baar bhi nahi roya.

Dr: right now I really cannot say anything about it v hv to monitor the babies pattern phir hi main kuch keh sakunga...maybe bcs he is premature ...but haa aise babies ke sath careful rehne padta hai u hv to be very attentive warna isse jab bhook lagegi yeh tab bhi nahi royega so feed him every 2 hrs.

Rishi had got too attached to the baby and so had Rudra and Bhavya.

I still remember when Ahaan had initially started babbling, Abhi would actually have funny banters with Ahaan.

They did share few light hearted moments with Ahaan as a baby, he could never fathom that the dynamics would change so drastically.

Present Day, Late Evening**

Ahaan sits in his room, flipping through an old photo album that holds pictures of his childhood. He stops at a picture of him as a toddler, laughing while sitting on Abhi’s lap. A small smile tugs at the corner of his lips as memories flood back. It had been years since those innocent days, but certain moments still lingered in his mind, like a comforting warmth amidst the chaos of today.

**Ahaan**: (whispers to himself) Big Bear…

He laughs softly, remembering how he used to call Abhi that. Just as his thoughts wander deeper, the camera zooms in on his face, fading into a **flashback**.

The living room was filled with soft laughter and the happy babbling of baby Ahaan. Abhi was sitting on the couch, holding a squirming Ahaan in his arms, tickling his tiny feet. The room was bright, with toys scattered around, and everyone seemed relaxed, enjoying the carefree moments.

**Ahaan**: (giggling, pulling Abhi’s cheeks) Haina mere Big Bear? 🐻

Abhi’s eyes lit up with surprise and joy. It was the first time Ahaan had given him a nickname, and the pure affection behind it melted Abhi’s heart. He couldn't stop smiling as he looked down at the chubby little boy who had unknowingly given him a title he’d cherish forever.

**Abhi**: (grinning) Big Bear, huh? Well, I’ll take that!

He hugged Ahaan tightly, still chuckling at the unexpected nickname. But just then, Rishi entered the scene, visibly annoyed. He stood with his arms crossed, pouting as he watched Ahaan and Abhi’s moment.

**Rishi**: (mocking tone) Oye, zyada khush mat ho! Do you even know what he just called you?

Abhi raised an eyebrow, still amused by the little boy’s antics.

**Abhi**: (laughing) What? He called me Big Bear. It’s cute!

**Rishi**: (rolling his eyes) Ha! Big Bear, my foot! He called you **Bada Bhaloo** (Big Bear in a teasing tone) you idiot! Bhaloo buddhi!

Abhi’s smile faltered as he processed Rishi's teasing, but Ahaan’s innocent giggles melted any annoyance away. He shook his head in mock frustration while Rishi smirked at his little victory.

**Abhi**: (playfully) Bhaloo buddhi, really? That’s your big insult? You’ll have to try harder, Rishi.

Rishi, clearly not one to back down, wagged his finger with a mischievous grin.

**Rishi**: Ooh sorry… not just Bhaloo buddhi from now on, it’s **Bhaloo Buddhi** forever! That’s your new name. Deal with it, Abhi!

Abhi chuckled, shaking his head as he bounced Ahaan on his knee, who was oblivious to the banter flying over his head. Despite Rishi’s teasing, Abhi felt content, surrounded by his family and enjoying the sweet, lighthearted moments with Ahaan.

**Ahaan**: (babbling, pointing at Rishi) Bhaloo! (he then bursts into giggles)

Both Abhi and Rishi looked at Ahaan, who had just unknowingly added fuel to the fire.

**Abhi**: (laughing) See? Even Ahaan agrees. Looks like we’re both bhaloo now!

Rishi sighed dramatically, but even he couldn’t hold back his laughter as the room filled with the sound of happy giggles and playful teasing. It was a time of simplicity—of family, of laughter, and of love.

But don't really expect a schedule from me......cause academic life takes a toll some days I may update in a row or it may be just once in a blue moon. I'm no writer just trying my hands on something new to cease boredom.
