Ch2. Hard decision
Luna entered the lab downstairs that belonged to her father. The one who cares for her wellbeing so much from her being in the lab, he sent her to live with a family who always wanted a child.
Entering the lab Luna smelled weird chemical smells that would make her eyes water, sneeze, or at times would almost make her throw up.
She walked up to the man with hair in tiny black spiked hair in area as if he hadn't showered in days. He wore glasses and a dirty white lab coat as he was writing down something so fast it looked like he was writing on air.
Luna softly walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder making the man jump.
"Luna! In God's name you know better than to do that!"
"I'm sorry father. It's just, I had something I needed to ask you."
Her father sighed. "What is so important right now that I need to hear for?!"
He scolded her as Luna gasp for air in the back of her throat. "I-I w-want to-"
"BREAKING NEWS!" The T.V. screen interrupted her making Luna glad for the delayed talking. "Their royal highness, Emperor Robin and Empress Amber, just got done with a meeting discussing to there be a new heir to the throne!"
Luna gasped in surprise as her father freeze up like an ice block. His smile growing with each word being spoken
"The royal advisor Ben, thought it would be best for the death of are dear princess who was kidnapped at birth, and possibly now dead, to finally stop morning over. It is time for the world to have a new place for the dear princess. Are Emperor and Empress will sadly go away soon as an heir to the throne will need to happen for the blood line to continue for the future of are dear kingdom Dakmight. Stay in tune for tonight to see the discussion of this news from other kingdoms."
Luna's father switched off the T.V. with a grin on his face. "This is some great news... I bet demons will be in the Emperor's and Empress's shadow... this sadness is deep enough for their hearts to weep!"
"FATHER!" Luna yelled at her father who gave her a glare.
"You dare speak out of line missy?"
Luna shivered at his glare. It was as if he wanted knives inside her. But that wouldn't be possible. It was her father, he loved her. "I-I just... wanted to tell you..." She quickly took a deep breath and met eye contact with her father's black eyes. "I want to kill someone!"
Her father's glare turned into a confused look. "What in hells name do you want to kill somebody for?"
"To prove after when I kill somebody I won't go insane. Just let me kill someone! Please! I'll kill demons on them too so you can experiment on their black blood! Just please! Let me go and do this!"
Her father gave her a stare with a face, to confusion, to pure joy. "I never thought I would heart those words from your lips!"
Luna beamed with pride. "So does this mean I can kill someone?!"
"Yes, yes you can. This is your target!" He open up his desk drawer to pull out a picture of the Emperor himself.
"What?! You want me to kill the Emperor?!"
"Yes! Of course! You could get a job at the castle as a maid! You could get real close to him once you served him his food or something! The Emperor has a demon in his shadow. I need it's blood. So why not kill the Emperor while at it? He's having another child to make people forget the lost princess who was never named. This is an outrage for people! A lot of people will be against this Luna! For the Emperor to die, I bet it will bring joy to people's heart... and mine too."
Luna stared at her father. "Can I see the picture?" Her father handed her the picture. She looked at the Emperor's face with no emotion, but confusion as it felt she had met this man before.
"Alright. I'll do it. I'll kill the Emperor who has given this country shame to this land!"
Arms wrapped around her small frame. "Thank you Luna. This is going to be the best thing this world has hopped for..."

Luna sat down on her bed post. Remembering what happened last night. She had never seen her father so happy before in all her life. She shrugged it off as Berta and her husband Owen who had blond hair but gray streaks in the back off it from hard work.
"Already off and going now?" Owen called to her as she scanned her finger as the door slid open.
"Of course. If I don't go now then it will be dusk by the time I arrive at there the castle."
"Well give us a hug first."
Luna smiled and hugged Owen as Berta came and hugged both of them back. Luna felt guilty, she didn't tell them about the assassination of the Emperor's death mission she was sent to do. She just couldn't do it. So instead she told them she was going to work at the castle as a maid and help pay the farms debt their as they did pay very well up there.
Luna pulled back first and grabbed her backpack full of weapons, food, and clothes. "It's time for my leave. I love you both."
Berta and Owen pulled back as well. Berta stroked her hair with tears in her eyes. "We love you too. Just be safe and send letters telling us about what's going on."
"I will Berta." Luna started walking off. "Goodbye!" She waved at her dear other family who helped raised her as they waved back.
Luna took a deep breath, and headed for the castle with a raised head. Not looking back like a proud assassin.

Robin sat at his desk angry with himself. The decision he made. And Ben mostly after last night discussion...
"What?! A new heir to the throne?!"
"What?!"
Amber cried out with him as Ben looked at them both with sad eyes.
"Yes your highness. We know you're only in your thirties, but soon an heir will need to take the place of the Emperor and Empress. Sadly you two can't live forever on. So an heir will need to happen. I know the loss of are dear never named princess. But this needs to happen... I'm sorry... but even you both know the rules to the royal lineage..."
Robin sighed and left his office in a hurry. He when to his wife who was out in the garden. He found her by the field of the flowers crying softly.
Robin's heart broke into two as he walked up to Amber and gave her a love filled hugged.
Amber soon gave it back as she cried into his chest. "We can't haven't another child Robin! Are lost daughter is still out their! I just know it!"
He rubbed her back as he kissed the top of her head. "My Empress, I know. But Ben is right. It breaks my heart too Amber. But we can't rule this country forever... if you like we can hold it off the day before are lost daughter's birthday as we announce it officially to the other kingdoms at the feast. The other queens and I will be there to comfort you their... so please Amber... do this for our country, for me, and most of all... are late daughter..."
Amber looked up at him with puffy red eyes as her violet eyes where dark with sadness. She stared up into her husband's eyes for a long time. "A-Alright... but it will be before the day of their daughter's birthday... I also want a quiet celebration on her birthday with just the two of us... to celebrate are lost daughters sixteenth birthday..."
Robin gave her a small smile as he kissed Amber's cheek. "Of course. Anything for you. And we'll love this child just as must as the first one... I promise the last mistake will never happen again..."
Amber cries died down as she watched the flowers blow with the wind. "Make sure to tell Jason about this news as well."
Robin nodded. "I will..."
Robin helped his wife to the bedroom and gave her a quick kiss on her soft lips before going off to the training grounds.
He arrive to find two men at training with weapons. A young teenage boy was train with the other young knights to be. His sliver hair shined in the light above as his jade eyes shined with his sword gleaming as it slashed at the other man who was no matched for the best knight in the kingdom of Dakmight.
Painting, the young boy when to get a drink of water before meeting eyes with the Emperor.
"Your highness!" His voice had a honey like tone to it when he spoke softly. But at battle his voice sounded hard as an blade as it collide with the other sword gleaming in it's sliver masterpiece. He quickly bowed before the Emperor.
"Rise, Jason"
Jason quickly rose as his sliver hair flew up with him revealing his glowing jade eyes. "What is it your highness?"
"I have something I need to talk with you about alone..."
.
.
.
"WHAT?!" Jason yelled at his face. "You can't do this!"
"Jason... please try to understand..."
"I won't and never will! Now, good day!"
He slammed the door behind him as Robin sighed. Robin knew his father and took Jason in to care and raise him as his late father couldn't. Jason didn't like the idea of this new change was because he took pride in his birthday... because that was the day he and the lost princess were both born on.
