Ch.4 New trust
Luna when into the office with her chin held up high in the air. She was proud to have that guy who called himself a knight, Jason, ticked off by her behavior. Luna needed some entertainment around here. And that was by killing every other demon this palace could have...
Luna walked on into the dusty place as an old women with gray hair sat at the desk writing on a tabscreen.
Luna cleared her throat, "H-hello."
The old women's head snap up to meet with her eyes. She travel them up and down Luna to think about her.
"Can I help you?"
"Yes you can. I was told I would be working upstairs inside the palace. Forgive me but I am new here and will need someone to take me around the place."
The old women sighed deeply, shifting her hand with the pen in her hands, "I can't, I have some important letters I need to send the Emperor about and it's nothing of your business."
Luna nodded. Understanding she will need that tabscreen for her own to look at, "Right, but then do I look around the place lost and confused?"
"I can show you around here."
A voice from behind Luna snapped her attention towards them. It was the maid with black curly hair.
The old women nodded and when back to her tabscreen, "Good. You go and do that please, Esta?"
The maid, Esta, nodded her head with a smile on her face, "Thank you ma'am!" She grabs Luna's hand making Luna tense up without her knowing, "I'll show you around the place!"
Her voice was a bright as her face as she led Luna around the twisting staircases and maze filled rooms. This place was huge. It was hard to believe this belong to the royal family themselves for people of two.
Esta led Luna from the guest bedrooms, to the wash rooms, the drawing room, last but not least the top floor who belong to the royal family.
"What's that door?" Luna asked point to a door just as tall as the master bedroom door next to it.
"Oh, that's just the lost never name princess's room."
Esta nodded it off as it was nothing as Luna stopped and looked at it. Something about the door was tugging a knot in the back of her mind.
But she couldn't know for sure what it was. She just shrugged it off as she let Esta show her around the palace.
"So there you have it! Not a bad place huh?"
"Yeah... how do you keep up with all of this?"
"Oh it gets easy after living in the palace almost your whole life."
Luna looked at Esta in shock, "You've lived here almost your whole life?!"
"Well... some of us were shipped here or just born in the palace. I was shipped into here when I was five years old. I know the palace pretty well and the Empress herself."
Luna's heart skipped a beat, "You know the Empress?"
"Of course. I'm her clothes maid. That's why I'm downstairs sewing a lot."
"That sound boring..."
"At times it is." She gave Luna a hug surprising her as Luna hesitatingly hugged back. "I have to go now. I'll see you tomorrow!"
Esta paced down the hall as Luna sighed and when back down to the maid's office. But, stopped and stared at the lost princess's door for a long time.

Robin paced around the drawing room so much he thought a hole must have burn in his shoes.
"Your highness." Jason called out having Robin's head snap in his direction. "There here."
Robin sighed deeply. Dreading for this to happen, "Let them in."
Jason, nodded and open the large white drawing room doors. Three figures came into the room and sat in the big black chairs across from Robin.
The man in the middle had slick black hair the colors of a raven. This eyes pure gray like a stone as his eyes gave off that effect. He had a slender face as the man was pale as snow. The two around him were his children.
"Emperor Robin." The man spoke in a deep voice like the pits of hell, "It's wonderful seeing you."
"Marx." Robin sneered.
"No titled for 'King'?"
"You don't deserve that title."
"True, true. But the bloodline is as it was."
"I see... and you've brought your children..."
"Of course." He gestured towards the girl next to him, "This is my daughter, Bell."
The girl, Bell, looked a lot like him as she resemble him almost perfectly if not for the girl figure.
"Hello." She spoke to him.
Robin nodded at her, disgusted at how a child of his looked so much like him.... but, felt a pinch of, jealousy?
"And this here is my son, Siegfried."
The boy next to him didn't look anything like his father, except for the gray eyes he had. His hair was pale blonde as he had almost a baby like face. His eyes stared off into space as Marx, scowled at him and smacked him upside the head.
"Siegfried, pay attention!"
"Y-yes father..."
His honey voice trembled with fear as he sat farther back in his chair. Robin felt a tiny bit of sympathy for the poor boy.
"Well then, Emperor Robin, I hope us staying here for a peace treaty between Axdron and Dakmight be held with us here for the celebration of the lost princess of Dakmight sixteenth birthday."
Robin nodded. Still hating the idea of having this man be in his palace, "Of course. Please make yourself at home in my house just as well as yours."
Marx nodded and stood up. His other two children stood up with him until Siegfried bumped his knee on the table making him yelp. His father glared at him.
"Be quite boy! Or I will send you back!"
"Yes father..."
Robin couldn't believe this boy was his father. He acted nothing like him. They both excuse themselves from his presence as Robin sighed and stared out in the window looking down on his beautiful city. The sun when down as Robin turned his back and went back to work as an Emperor should.
