Chapter 1: Back to four

Link sat down on the steps of Hyrule castle looking up at the sky. It had only been about two weeks since Link had put the four sword back. And to be honest, he missed his counter parts. Even Shadow link, even though he's still there, Link knows that he can never see him again. 'We killed Shadow.' He reminded himself. He knew it was the Vio in him that wondered about Shadow. Link was broken out of his thoughts by Zelda's approaching foot steps. "Link, I'm so glad I found you." There was concern in her voice, Link could tell. "What's wrong Princess?" "You see Link I had a horrible vision, do you remember when you 'killed' Vaati?" Link nodded his head and Zelda went on. "Well I had vision, I saw Vaati and Shadow link. Vaati on what looked like the inside of the Dark mirror and Shadow link on the other. I heard Vaati say that 'It worked, the four are now one again and they think I'm dead, but in reality they only injured my demon form." Link looked shocked. "So, Vaati is still alive! And in human form!?" Link said concerned, and worried. "Yes Link now calm down, as I was saying. In my vision Shadow was gathering the scattered shards of the mirror and putting then back together. You have to split into four once again." Link nodded and knew what he had to do. He got up and walked over to the four sword shrine and looked at the sword remembering his four, no, five, counter parts, and smiled. "Go on Link." Zelda urged. Link stepped up to the sword and pulled it out of the pedestal. He looked around to see his other counter parts next to him. He smile, Link was now Green and he was back into four.
