In the shadow realm~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In the ruins of the palace of winds lay the dark mirror, hard at work on regenerating the shadow realm to its former glory. And there in the ruins of the throne room, sat none other than the demon lord himself...Vaati.

Vaati's POV: Having just been reborn from the dark mirror, my powers were very weak. Shadow was reborn before me so he had more power when I returned. Shadow informed me that the four links had returned. "Go!" I demanded. "Find them, and when you do put our plan into action," I demanded once more. He nodded, and with a puff of black smoke, he was gone.

Vio's POV: "Shut up Red!" Shadow growled. I laughed as I glanced over at the little red counterpart. "Vi I need to talk to you," Shadow whispered to me. "We can talk now, what is it?" He looked away from me sadly. "Well, it's just that... are you still on my side? The dark side, I mean?" I looked at him with confusion in my eyes. "Shady of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" He looked back at me with sad eyes. "Because you're here, with them. Come back Vi." "Shadow I would but-" "YO VIO WHAT ARE YOU TO TALKING ABOUT GET YOUR @$$ OVER HERE!" Blue yelled. "But... them." Shadow signed. "Hey," I said grabbing his shoulders. "I love you." He looked at me with a sad face. "No you don't, otherwise you'd come back to me." He said disappearing. "Shadow-" It was too late, he already disappeared. I signed and walked over to where the others were. "So Vio what were you and Shady talking about?" Red taunted. "Nothing, forget about it," I replied.

In the Shadow realm~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Vaati's POV: After what seemed like an eternity Shadow finally came back. "Plan A or B?" I asked looking at him. "B." He replied. I smiled and said, "Wonderful." "Now we wait until you can go into there realm correct my lord?" I nodded. Then it hit me, "Actually, I have a new plan." The Shadow looked at me puzzled. "You go into the light realm and show Vio why he came to our side in the first place, once you remind him of that we can start the real plan." Shadow nodded and left. "And if that doesn't work then I will have to help Shadow make Vio jealous," I mumbled to myself looking out the window of my throne room.

Green's POV: Vio has been acting weird ever since he talked to Shadow, I wonder what he said to him. We all had a long day and so when we got home Blue and Red went up to there rooms to sleep. So I took the opportunity to ask Vio what was wrong. He was sitting on the couch reading a book as ushual. "Hey Vio, what are you reading?" I asked. "A book on the Shadow realm." He repiled, I nodded. "Speaking of Shadows, what did he say to you?" He looked up from his book and glared at me suspiciously. "Why do you care?" He sneered. "Well, you've been acting weird ever since Shadow talked to you, I'm wondering what he may have said to upset you," I said. Vio said nothing and looked down at his book with a dark expression. "Shadow doesn't think that I love him anymore." "What why!?" I said shocked. "Because I refused to go back to the Shadow realm with him." I frowned. "Vi-" "What did I say to you earlier about calling me that!?" He snapped. "Sorry," I mumbled. Vio thought for a moment and flipped through the book. "Shadow people obey two people in this realm, Lord Vaati, and Master Shadow Link. Master Shadow Link is Vaati's only knight and is the Shadow of the light hero, Link's superior half." He read out loud, looking at me. "Wait...why are you the superior half?!" I groaned. "No, you idiot! Shadow is the shadow Master of his realm, meaning he can control all the Shadow beings in it." He said looking at me. I tilted my head in confushion. "Master Shadow Link can also turn light beings into Shadow beings." He read. He looked at me again and I still gave him my confused look. "Green, Shadow wants me on his side so he can turn me into a shadow!" I gasped. "What!?" Just then the devil himself showed up in the dark corner of the room. "Vio." He stated glaring at him. "Shadow Link." He replied coldly. "This is your last chance...come with me." He said. I looked at Vio as he stood up. "No Shadow, I know what you are going to do." "And that is..." He asked. "Turn me into a Shadow!" He stated. Shadow laughed, "Oh Vio, so nïve." He said shaking his head. "Then what?" Vio asked. Shadow glared at me and growled, "Leave!" I nodded, scared and went up to my room.

Shadow's POV: "I need you on my side because, well, without you, I have nothing. And I need help trying to take over this realm." Vio's jaw dropped. "What!?" "Vi, you know that Lord Vaati wants the two worlds to be one, but we need help from a light being," I said. "Why me?" He asked. "Because I have a connection to you, and let's face it...you need me." "Why do I 'need you' exactly?" He said quoting the words, need you. I  laughed as a smirk came to my lips. "Because darling Vio, you love me. So there for, you need me." I laughed. "Shadow, I won't go with you just because you want to use my own affection for you against me." I frowned, angry at what I just heard. "Fine then...I'll take you." I said stepping to the lightened part of the room, I hissed in pain. "Shadow no! Stop...I'll go with you." He sighed in defeat. I stepped back into the shadows and smiled. "Then come there Vi." Vio then got up and walked over to the dark coner of the room where I was. "Do remember what to do?" I asked him. He nodded, grabbing my hand and looking me in the eyes. "Into the Shadow Realm." We said together. And in a puff of black smoke, we were back in my realm.

In the Shadow realm~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Shadow's POV: When we arrived in my realm I looked over at Vio and smiled. "You did the right thing Vi, now we can begin the real plan," I said taking him into Vaati's throne room. "My Lord, I have done what you asked and brought Vio back to us." Vio and Vaati looked at each other in silents. "Vio, welcome home to the shadow realm." Vio actually smiled at this. "Thank you Vaati, in all honesty, I don't think I could handle those idiots much longer." Vaati laughed. "Then why did you resist?" I found myself asking. "Shadow, you know when I come into this realm I'm a different person...I'm-" "Your Shadow." Vaati states. Vio and I gave a confused look. "When a light entering the shadow realm, their shadow takes over." He stated. "But Lord Vaati I am Vio's Shadow!" I said even more confused. He sighed, "The darkness in Vio's heart takes over, and that darkness is the relationship between the light being and the  Shadow being." I nodded. "So Vio is acting more like me because of the relationship we have, which allows darkness into his heart?" Vaati nodded. I looked at Vio and smiled. "So is that why the others act normal when they are in this realm?" Vio asked. Vaati nodded in responce. "So my lord now that we have Vio, what next?" I asked. "Faze 1 of merging the to worlds is already been done." "Why did you want me to take Vio then? He could have just come to us?" I asked confused. "Taking a person from the light realm with ties to the dark realm starts the slow prosses. Some parts of Hyrule are already being consumed by our world." I nodded. "Then faze 2," I stated. "Indeed, faze 2 is speeding up the prosses by entering the light realm and taking it over ourselves," Vaati said looking at Vio. "When do we do this?" He asked. "Tomorrow morning, the other links will notice that you're gone by then and start looking for you, while they are busy doing that, we can plan an attack on the castle," Vaati said.

The next morning :

"GUYS WAKE UP VIO'S GONE!" A frantic Green yelled. "WHAT THE HELL GREEN I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP!" Blue yelled back. Red came out of his room rubbing his eyes. "What *yawn* what's going on here?" He said still tired. "Vio's gone!" Green yelled again. "Where could he have gone?!" Red asked conserned. "I don't know! But we have to find him!" Green said franticly. "He probably went with Shadow." Blue mocked. Green's eyes grew wide, "Blue...what did you just say?" "He probably went with Shadow," Blue stated. "That's it!" Red said. "Vio went with Shadow, but last night he..." "Last night he what Green!?" Blue snapped. "Last night Shadow showed up and they talked, but I left the room to go to bed, I guess he did go with Shadow," Green said looking at his feet. "We have to get him back!" Red said worriedly. "Yeah who knows what those freaks are doing to him!" Blue yelled. Green then looked out the window and gasped. "Guys, look out side!" He said pointing to the window. Red and Blue looked out the window to see Hyrule field surrounded by a dark cloud. "What is that!?" Red asked worriedly. "I don't know dumb ass why do you think Green was flipping out?!" Blue snapped. "Either way we have to get to the Shadow realm," Green said. "How?!" Blue asked annoyed. "We have to go to death mountain and find the dark mirror," Green said. Blue and Red nodded and grabbed there swords and sheilds.
