#2 Mission and Blue

As Sage walked in the shadows, she couldn't help but think about what just happened. It played in her mind, making her shiver, even though she had on a thick red cloak. The moon was shinning bright in the sky, the twinkling stars making the sky light up. Sighing, Sage started running silently back to the underground cavern where the others were probably wondering where she was.

As she skipped down the wooden steps, she was greeted by Iris and Saphira. They eyes were both wide with concern. "Why were you gone so long?!" Saphira fussed. "Your cloak is torn." Iris said pointing towards a huge rip on the side of her silky red cloak.
"It's fine. I'll get Gracie to fix it." Sage said flicking her wrist. "Answer my question!" Saphira said, grabbing sage's shoulders. "I was just at the rose patch. I fell and ripped this." Sage said holding up the town part of her cloak. "I lost track of time when the sun set." Sage lied. It was easy, considering she had been lying ever since her parents locked her in a trash can, leaving her to die.  Saphira sighed and dragged her over to Garcie, Iris following giggling at Sage's expression. Gracie looked up from a black leather scetch book she was drawing in. She put it down when she saw Sage. "Bout time you got back! What'd you do? Die and come back?" She said obviously conserned for the scarlet assassin. "I just lost track of time, but I did fall off the bench and ripped the side of my cloak." Sage said once again and motioned towards the ripped fabric. "Oh well you can trash that. I finished your new one." Gracie said standing and walking off. She returned with a black and red draped attire:

(without heels duh)
Sage grinned and took the soft laces and admired the whole thing. She nodded before running to her small room. She closed the door and locked it with the wooden latch. She quickly put the thing on and strapped her red dagger on her led. Admiring herself in the mirror, Sage placed her crimson hair up with a white ribbon. She smiled at herself before turning her head when she heard someone yell, " Meeting!"

As Sage sat with everyone at the tiny table in the back room, she listened as Willow explained their next 'mission'.
"Ok so there's this huge shipment of meat coming in in two days, and like heck we need the food." They all mummered at that statement, nodding their heads.
"So Sage and Violet are gonna go and act like travelers and stuff as much meat you can in these satchels." Willow said handing both Sage and Violet large bags. "And I've already made you guy's outfits." Gracie said crossing her legs. "Great! I haven't seen the dock in a while!" Violet said smiling her ear to ear smile. "Alright, get ready to stuff your faces, cause we're getting that meat!" Sage said as they all cheered to themselves.

Sage and Violet were standing by the dock with all the other visitors ready to go to where ever the boat was going after dropping off all the meat. After a while the boat was pulling up and they started boarding. Sage faked a smile at the old man letting everyone on. As her and Violet got on, they quickly went to look for the meat stock. When they found it them immediately started stuffing the satchels.

When they were done shoving the raw meat into the pouches, they quickly ran back to the boarding rail. They slipped in between the people still boarding and slipped past the same old man from before. As they got out of the crowd of people, they started running through the streets smiling to each other. As they rounded a corner to where they couldn't see the boat anymore, they stopped. "No more digging through the trash!" Violet said instantly covering her mouth as she saw Sage glance up at her. "I.. I forgo.. Uh..." She stuttered before Sage giggled. "It's fine, here you take my bag back. I'm gonna go get water." Sage said tossing the large bag of meat to Violet. Violet nodded and rushed off, leaving Sage to fill up the bottle that was strapped to her belt.

As Sage headed to the town fountain, she had to stop by the grand Willow at the back of the city. She laid down under the tree, making out shapes in the clouds and watching the sun set in the pink, purple sky. She admired the sky before her eyelids started getting heavy. She blinked a few times before jerking up. She couldn't fall asleep where just anyone could see her. She stood up and stretched. She turned around before she saw a beautiful, glowing blue... blue... eyes, no eye. Then everything went black.
