The world is fading.

But Namjoon sees something else.

He feels like he's breaking.

In a single stride, he reaches YN, gripping her wrist before she can collapse. His touch is firm-grounding.

🗣️ "Breathe," he commands, voice low. "Not here. Not now."

Her chest rises and falls in rapid, uneven breaths.

Namjoon's grip tightens, his golden eyes flicking between her and Taehyung.

His head lifts. "Jungkook," he orders. "Get Taehyung out of here."

Jungkook growls, eyes flickering between his bleeding packmate and the battlefield. "I'm not leaving-"

Jungkook hesitates, chest heaving. But then, Taehyung makes the decision for him-his body collapses.

Jungkook catches him just in time, a curse slipping from his lips. He doesn't argue again.

With one last glare at Yoongi, he throws Taehyung's arm over his shoulder and vanishes into the shadows.

Yoongi exhales, tilting his head. "How touching."

Namjoon steps forward. "You should be worried."

Yoongi grins. "Am I?"

The torches flicker.
