The village had quieted. The lanterns still swayed gently, their golden glow reflecting against the darkened sky.

YN stood by the river’s edge, watching the ripples dance under the moonlight. Her fingers traced the cool water, lost in thought.

A new life. A peaceful village. A night filled with laughter.

But what now?

She felt them before she saw them.

Jungkook’s warmth, steady and solid behind her. Taehyung’s presence, quiet but deep, standing beside her.

They had always been there—fierce warriors, loyal protectors. But tonight, they weren’t alphas standing guard.

Tonight, they were just men.

Jungkook exhaled, running a hand through his hair. “We’ve been waiting. For the right time. For you to heal.” His eyes searched hers. “But I can’t pretend anymore.”

Taehyung’s fingers ghosted over her wrist. “We love you.”

YN’s breath hitched.

The words weren’t rushed, weren’t desperate.

They were quiet, steady—certain.

Jungkook took her hands in his. “I don’t love you because you’re strong. Or because we’ve survived together. I love you because you’re you.” His thumb brushed over her knuckles. “And I want to spend the rest of my life proving that to you.”

Taehyung leaned in, his forehead resting against hers. “No more running. No more fear. Just us.” His voice was a whisper. “If you’ll have us.”

YN’s heart pounded.

This was different from battle, different from survival.

This was real.

She could still say no. She could turn away. She could bury the feelings that had been growing inside her for so long.

Or—

She could fall.

Her fingers tightened around Jungkook’s. She leaned into Taehyung’s warmth.

And she whispered, “Yes.”
