Jungkook's eyes scanned the organized closet. Every item was in its place, each suit perfectly aligned, and the shoes arranged in order. As she glanced over the neatly hung clothes, something caught her eye.

Her gaze locked onto a single waistcoat, hanging alone amidst the sea of coordinated suits. It stood out, different in the flawless order of Taehyung's wardrobe. The waistcoat was elegant, with stitching and a luxurious fabric.

Jungkook's brows furrowed in curiosity. She reached out, her fingers lightly caressing the fine material. It felt smooth and cool under her touch, yet there was something about it that made her heart race.

Why was this waistcoat alone, without a matching coat?

Jungkook felt like she had seen it somewhere before. Her mind began to race with possibilities. She gently pulled the waistcoat off the hanger, holding it up to inspect it more closely.

Lost in her thoughts, Jungkook didn't notice Taehyung entering the room. He paused in the doorway, watching her with curiosity.

"Find something interesting?" he asked, his deep voice breaking her reverie.

Jungkook jumped slightly, her cheeks flushing as she turned to face him. "I'm sorry, I was just... this waistcoat... it doesn't have a coat to go with it."

Jungkook turned, holding up the waistcoat. "This. It feels like I've seen it somewhere. Do you have the coat that goes with it?"

Taehyung took it from Jungkook's hand and spoke, "It has a long story behind it. A few months back my life was smooth, then a person came into my life."

Jungkook's eyes sparkled with curiosity, her mind racing with questions. "Who was it? What happened?"

Taehyung's eyes twinkled with a hint of mischief as he continued. "It was a night. There was someone in danger, and I gave her my coat to keep her warm. She couldn't see me because of the darkness."

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. "Really? That sounds like something out of a storybook."

Taehyung nodded, his gaze lingering on the waistcoat for a moment before he carefully placed it back in the closet. "Yes, it does. But it was very real."

Jungkook's face lit up with excitement. "Oh my gosh, that's so romantic! Like a knight in shining armour coming to the rescue. Did she ever thank you? Did you get to see her again?"

Taehyung chuckled at her enthusiasm. "Well, let's just say she's closer than she thinks."

Jungkook's brow furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"

Taehyung leaned in slightly, lowering his voice. "She has the coat."

Jungkook's jealousy peaked, and she grumbled, "How do you know?"

Taehyung smirked, enjoying the moment, and shrugged his shoulders. "Just know."

Taehyung was about to move back, but Jungkook held his shirt back, halting him.

"Who is that fragile girl that needs your protection?" Jungkook spoke with a cute, angry frown.

Taehyung ran fingers through his hair and spoke smirking at his fuming wife, "Jealous, are we?"

Jungkook pouted, her eyes narrowing. "No, I just want to know who she is."

Taehyung's smirk widened, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He stepped closer, his gaze never leaving hers. "Oh, don't wouldn't worry about that," he said in a sneaky tone.

Jungkook frowned at the response, feeling a flicker of something she couldn't quite grasp. She whined, "Why are you talking in circles, Mr. Kim? Where's the coat? Tell me!"

Taehyung's smirk widened, clearly enjoying her frustration. "Why should I make it easy for you?" he teased, leaning casually against the closet door.

Jungkook pouted, crossing her arms. "Because I want to know! You're being mean."

Taehyung chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Mean? Or mysterious?"

"Mean," Jungkook insisted, narrowing her eyes at him. "Now spill it, Mr. Kim!"

Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly.

Jungkook's pout deepened, and she stomped her foot lightly. "Mr kim!"

Taehyung finally decided to tell her. "Close your eyes," he whispered. Jungkook raised her eyebrows, sceptical but curious.

"Why should I?" she challenged, but her curiosity got the better of her. With a sigh, she closed her eyes.

Taehyung took a deep breath, guiding her gently by the shoulders. "No peeking," he teased.

Jungkook scrunched her nose but obeyed, suspense bubbling up inside her. She felt Taehyung's hands leave her shoulders for a moment.

Taehyung's smile softened as he glanced at her thoughtfully. "Do you remember that night when the master jinn attacked? You were cornered, and things were looking pretty weirdly magical."

Jungkook frowned, trying to recall the memory, but nothing surfaced. "No," she mumbled, frustration tinging her voice.

Taehyung nodded knowingly.

He moved closer, his presence comforting yet intense. "Slowly open your eyes," he whispered, his voice a soothing command. He guided her backwards until she was gently cornered against the closet door.

Jungkook's heart raced as she did as he asked, her eyes fluttering open. Taehyung's face was close to hers, his gaze steady and reassuring.

She looked down at their intertwined hands and found the mark on her wrist glowing the same as the one on Taehyung's chest. The connection between them was undeniable, a shared fate etched into their very beings.

"The rainy night, you stood on the empty road being attacked by a car, dodging and running away from it," Taehyung began, his voice steady and filled with emotion. "You were so scared, but you fought so bravely."

Jungkook's eyes widened, the memory slowly returning. She could almost feel the cold rain pelting her skin, the terror of that night flooding back.

"You ran as fast as you could," Taehyung continued, his grip on her hands tightening slightly. "But the car kept coming. Just when you thought there was no escape, I was there. I saw you from a distance and knew I had to save you."

Tears welled up in Jungkook's eyes as she listened, the vivid imagery making her shiver. "You... you were the one who saved me?"

Taehyung nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "Yes, Jungkook. I gave you my coat to shield you from the rain and the danger. You couldn't see my face because of the darkness."

Jungkook's heart swelled with a mix of gratitude and awe. "I didn't know... I never realized."

Taehyung looked at her, "Because of my magic," he spoke softly, his eyes reflecting sincerity.

Her eyes widened with astonishment. "Magic?"

He nodded slowly. "Yes, the kind of magic that can protect and heal. I used it to erase the memory of that night from your mind. It was too traumatic for a normal person who hasn't seen these supernatural things."

Jungkook's eyes widened as the memory clicked into place. She had been on the verge of despair when a warm coat had been draped over her, providing an unexpected sense of security.

"Then what happened afterwards on that night?" Jungkook questioned, her curiosity piqued.

Taehyung thought for a while, his face fading into a more serious expression.

"You went unconscious," he began slowly, as if replaying the events in his mind. "The fight took a lot out of you, and you were already hurt. After I dealt with the master jinn, I found you shivering on the ground."

Jungkook listened intently, her arms still crossed but her eyes softening.

Taehyung continued, "I didn't have much choice. I wrapped you in my coat to keep you warm and carried you back to your place. You were out cold the whole time."

Jungkook's eyes widened slightly. "You carried me all the way home?"

Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly. " I couldn't leave you there. You needed to be somewhere safe."

Jungkook's arms dropped to her sides as she stepped closer to Taehyung. "I don't remember any of it," she whispered, her eyes searching his for the truth. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Taehyung's expression softened, his hand reaching up to gently brush a strand of hair behind her ear. "I didn't want to scare you. It would be overwhelming for you especially when you are already dealing with a lot of stuff. I wanted you to feel safe and not burdened by what happened."

Jungkook's breath hitched as she felt his fingers lightly caress her cheek. "But I should have known. It was you all along. I feel so... so grateful and..."

Taehyung placed a finger gently over her lips, silencing her. "Shh, You don't need to say anything. What matters is that you're here, safe, and with me."

Jungkook's eyes glistened with unshed tears, "Thank you, Mr. Kim, For everything."

Taehyung didn't like how his wife's eyes glistened with tears, he always wanted them to shine with happiness.

"You have to admit, I did save you in the most heroic fashion," Taehyung smirked raising his eyebrows at his wife.

Jungkook rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smile. She wiped her tears and giggled, "Yes, yes, Mr Hero. Do you want a medal?"

"A medal wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?"

Jungkook stepped closer, poking him lightly in the chest. "How about a thank you and a homemade dinner instead?"

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "So are you bribing me? By offering to cook for me?"

Jungkook smirked. "Maybe. As long as you promise not to show off too much."

Taehyung chuckled, his husky laughter sending shivers down Jungkook's spine. "Don't you think I need to do it regularly? After all, a crybaby like you always seems to find trouble."

Jungkook rolled her eyes playfully. "I'm not that bad. And definitely not a crybaby"

Taehyung stepped closer, his gaze intense yet playful. "Oh, you're worse. Always testing my limits."

"I don't and let me clear one thing, I, Kim Jungkook, am not afraid of anything that's why I will protect you," Jungkook declared, flipping her hair sassily and crossing her arms over her chest.

Taehyung shook his head as he moved towards the bed. Jungkook stood waiting for a response but she got none. Feeling a twinge of defeat, Jungkook hurried after him, determined to win.

"Don't tell me you're afraid of me?" she teased, blowing air over her nails and striking a sassy pose.

Taehyung pretended to ignore her antics, busying himself with straightening the bed. Jungkook, feeling a tad ignored, pouted like a sulking child.

"Come on," she insisted, crossing her arms and giving him a mock glare. "You can't tell me you're afraid of me?"

Taehyung stood up and walked over to Jungkook, who was sulking in the corner of the room.

"There's a bug on your shoulder," Taehyung whispered in her ear.

Jungkook froze for a moment, eyes widening in alarm. "WHAT, No!,"

Then, she jumped up, swatting at her shoulder and squealing in horror.

"Get it off, get it off, please, I hate it!" she exclaimed, running over to Taehyung and wrapping her arms around him tightly.

Caught off guard by her sudden movement, Taehyung stumbled backwards, his arms instinctively reaching out to steady himself. They crashed onto the soft comforter of their bed, Jungkook landing on top of him, her grip still tight. Jungkook's breath caught in her throat, a rush of nerves and excitement coursing through her.

Jungkook clutched Taehyung's shirt collar in a tight grip, her head buried in his chest. The fabric beneath her fingers felt familiar and soft. Slowly, she raised her head to look at Taehyung, who was gazing at her with a deep, intense stare.

At that moment, Jungkook could feel her cheeks warming, a rush of emotions swirling within her. The firm grip of Taehyung's arms around her waist sent a thrill through her, a sensation she couldn't quite describe but knew she never wanted to let go of. Jungkook tried to raise herself slightly, her fingers tracing Taehyung's shirt collar, when suddenly she felt a tug at her neck. Her delicate chain necklace had caught on one of Taehyung's shirt buttons.

"Owie!" she yelped softly, more surprised than hurt.

Taehyung's eyes widened in concern as he quickly realized what had happened. "Wait, let me help," he murmured gently, his hands moving to carefully untangle the chain from his shirt.

Without hesitation, Taehyung took control of the situation. He swiftly flipped their positions, his movements authoritative yet gentle, guiding Jungkook to lie beneath him on the bed. His weight pressed lightly against her, their bodies close but comfortable.

"Let me take care of this," Taehyung murmured, his voice low and reassuring as he focused on untangling the chain. His hands brushed lightly against Jungkook's skin as he worked, a touch that sent shivers down her spine. It was a gesture of both care and possession, marking his role not just as her husband but as the dominant force in their intimate moments.

Jungkook's breath caught as she felt Taehyung's closeness, his gaze locking onto hers with a mixture of tenderness and quiet authority. At that moment, she surrendered to his command, feeling safe and cherished under his gaze. Lost in the intensity of the moment, she found herself admiring Taehyung's features, her heart racing despite the commanding presence he exuded.

"You are so handsome," Jungkook whispered, her words betraying her admiration. Her cheeks flushed hotly as she realized what she had said.

Her cheeks grew warmer and her eyes wider, a cute blush spreading across her face as she registered the impact of her words.

Taehyung paused, his gaze darkening slightly as he looked up at Jungkook, a subtle smirk playing on his lips. His eyes bore into hers with a mix of amusement and possessiveness, making her feel both vulnerable and euphoric.

"I... I mean..." Jungkook stammered, searching for words to backtrack or explain herself, her fingers fidgeting nervously with the silk sheets beneath her. She bit her lip, a nervous habit, unsure how to recover from her slip.

Jungkook squirmed under his intense gaze, feeling a rush of heat spread through her body. She bit her lip nervously, uncertain of how Taehyung would respond to her boldness.

After a moment, Taehyung leaned in closer, his voice low and commanding.

"You shouldn't say things you can't handle, Mrs Kim," he murmured, his breath brushing against her ear. His words sent a shiver down her spine, both thrilling and intimidating.

Involuntarily, Jungkook closed her eyes, enjoying the warmth of his breath against her ear. She clutched Taehyung's shirt tightly at the chest, her fingers curling around the fabric, searching for support in the intensity of the moment.

Taehyung's hand moved to gently grasp her waist, his touch both possessive and reassuring. He leaned closer, his lips brushing against the shell of her ear as he continued in a low, husky voice, "Someone said that she was not afraid of anything, huh."

Jungkook's breath hitched at his words, her cheeks flushing deeper as she heard the husky voice and felt it to her soul. She opened her eyes slowly, meeting his intense stare with vulnerability. Their closeness heightened the electricity that pulsed through every nerve in her body.

"You're... you are speaking too much," Jungkook managed to whisper, her voice barely above a breath. Her heart raced, her body responding instinctively to Taehyung's dominant presence.

Taehyung smirked slightly, a playful glint in his eyes as he leaned back just enough to catch her gaze fully. "Who knows Maybe you like it when I'm too much," he teased, his voice laced with a hint of mischief.

Jungkook's cheeks burned hotter at his remark, caught off guard yet unable to deny the truth in his words. She bit her lip nervously, unsure how to respond to his confident demeanour that both thrilled and unnerved her. They remained locked in that moment, the unspoken tension between them heightening the intensity of their connection. Jungkook couldn't deny the effect Taehyung had on her, his dominance leaving her a blushing mess under his gaze.

But a sudden knock on the door broke their eye contact. They exchanged a brief glance before both stood up, their movements awkward due to their intimate moment.

Jungkook's heart raced as she stood up, her cheeks flushed and her breath slightly uneven. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself as she smoothed down her dishevelled clothes and straightened her hair. Her fingers trembled slightly, due to the rush of emotions that Taehyung's commanding presence had stirred within her.

Jungkook tried to compose herself but when she glanced at Taehyung, catching his gaze, her confidence broke. The intensity in his eyes sent another wave of heat rushing to her cheeks, making her feel like a blushing mess under his unwavering stare.

Taking a deep breath, Jungkook turned to the bed and began arranging the bedsheet. The task helped to distract her mind from the effects of Taehyung's presence. She smoothed out the wrinkles and tucked in the edges neatly, focusing on the simple act, to regain her composure.

Meanwhile, Taehyung crossed the room, his intimate aura shifting to composed as he approached the door. He glanced back at Jungkook once more before turning the doorknob.

Jimin stood at the doorway, her gaze on Taehyung. "Brother, is Jungkook free?" she asked with a warm smile.

Taehyung nodded in response, his expression calm as he moved towards the couch where his files lay scattered. "Yes, she's free," he affirmed, his voice steady.

Jungkook looked up after cleaning the bed and smiled at her friends standing on the threshold of their room.

"Hey, Jimin," Jungkook greeted warmly, trying to steady her voice.

Jimin returned her smile, her eyes twinkling with curiosity.

"I want to show you something. Can you come with me? " she asked, stepping further into the room.

Jungkook nodded in understanding, sensing the underlying invitation. "Sure," she replied.

Jimin gestured towards the door. "Great! Let's head out then," she suggested cheerfully, her excitement was observable in her bouncy steps and a wide smile.

Jungkook nodded again. Jimin held her hands and began to move out.

"Okay," she agreed, taking one last glance at Taehyung before following Jimin out of the door.
