A few Days Later:

Taehyung expertly drove the car through the winding road single-handedly. His hand clutched the gear as he changed and the other hand spun the steering. Eyes focused on the dark road ahead. Beside him, Jungkook sat in the passenger seat.

Jungkook found her gaze drifting to his strong, veiny arm resting casually on the steering wheel. She couldn't help but admire the way his muscles flexed and tightened with each movement. Unconsciously, Jungkook's mouth fell slightly open as she watched him, her eyes tracing the veins of his arm with attention. She was so lost in her admiration that she didn't even notice the drool beginning to form at the corner of her mouth.

Taehyung glanced over at her, a small smirk playing on his lips as he noticed her bewitched expression. He followed her gaze to his arm and couldn't help but feel pride at the effect he seemed to have on his wife.

Jungkook shifted her attention away and looked down at her lap where the cup of strawberry ice cream was kept.

She held the spoon and dug out a large scoop of sweet before gulping it. Her doe orbs shone with the lights of the traffic as the younger looked outside.

Taehyung again stole a glance at Jungkook, his expression stoic as he watched the younger enjoy her ice cream. Her cheeks were flushed pink from the chilled sweet and a few stray strands of hair danced around her face in the gentle breeze.

Her once neatly styled hair was now tousled, strands of hair sticking out in all directions. A smudge of ice cream adorned the corner of her lips.
Taehyung brought the car to a stop at the red light. The wife looked as the husband removed his seatbelt and leaned closer, his eyes dark and intense in the dim light of the evening.

Jungkook's breath caught in her throat as she watched his hand move forward, her heartbeat heightening with every second. A shiver ran down her spine as she met his gaze, her own eyes wide.

The ice cream was long forgotten.

Jungkook's fingers trembled slightly as she clutched the fabric of her dress, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for Taehyung's next move.
Taehyung raised his hand and gently brushed a strand of hair from Jungkook's face, his touch feather-light against her skin.

The wife's face was illuminated by the soft glow of the evening.

Jungkook leaned back as she found Taehyung coming closer. Her head collided with the window sill.
She could feel his breath fanning on her cheek and felt a rush of anticipation flood through her veins, her heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

The elder stared into her eyes and brought his face closer, jungkook shut her eyes and clutched onto her clothes so tight that her knuckles turned white thinking that taehyung was about to kiss her, their breaths mixing when she felt taehyung's tip of his nose touching his own.

But to her surprise, she felt nothing. Jungkook opened her eyes and found Taehyung reaching out and plucking a tissue from the side of her seat.

Jungkook's breath caught in her throat as she watched him, a bewildered expression crossing her face. Her mind raced with confusion, and she blinked multiple times trying to make sense of Taehyung's unexpected actions.

Taehyung moved back to his seat and offered her the tissue, a small smirk playing at the corners of his lips.

"You've got a bit of ice cream on your cheek," he said, forwarding the tissue in her direction.

Realization dawned on Jungkook as she touched her cheek, feeling the sticky residue of melted ice cream. Heat flooded her cheeks as she accepted the tissue from Taehyung, quickly wiping away the smudge.

"Thank you," she murmured, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

With a smirk playing on his lips, Taehyung shifted the car back into gear once the light turned green, and the engine purred to life once more. He couldn't help but replay the image of Jungkook's flushed expression in his mind, a mischievous twinkle dancing in his eyes.

The memory of her embarrassment brought a playful smirk to Taehyung's face, his mind filled with amusement at the sight—Jungkook's adorable flustered reaction.

Jungkook slid the window to let in the cool night air, and a rush of chilly breeze swept through the car, causing her to shiver slightly with delight. The sensation was lively, sending a pleasant tingle down her spine as she leaned her head out, letting the wind tousle her hair.

Jungkook leaned out of the window, enjoying the sensation of the cool breeze against her warm skin. The night air was crisp and refreshing, and the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops on her hands only added to the enchanting ambience.

Jungkook gasped when she felt cold droplets on her hands.

But as the rain began to fall more steadily, Jungkook's sense of adventure was quickly replaced by the concern of the cold dampness seeping into the car.
She looked at the drizzling water drops and rolled up the window preventing the car from getting wet with a sad pout.

However, in the next moment, the window rolled down. This caught her off guard.

With a slight shiver, she glanced over at Taehyung, expecting to see a disapproving look on his face.

To her surprise, Taehyung remained silent, his expression stoic as he focused on the road ahead. Jungkook furrowed her brow in confusion, wondering why he hadn't said anything about closing the window.

"Mr Kim, shouldn't we..." Jungkook began, but her words trailed off as she noticed the elder turning to her.

"You're enjoying the rain, aren't you?" Taehyung asked, his voice gentle and filled with understanding.

Jungkook nodded with a huge smile and turned her attention back to the rain. She slightly moved her hand out of the window and closed her hands when she felt the cold droplets again on her open palm.

The heavy rain poured down outside, and Taehyung brought the car to a gentle stop at the side of the garage in front of the Kims Manor. the rhythmic pattern of raindrops creating a soothing melody. With a contented sigh, he leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, allowing himself to be enveloped by the tranquility of the moment.

Jungkook opened her eyes and looked at her husband who was enjoying the rain.

The sound of the rain against the car's roof was like music to Taehyung's ears. Its gentle rhythm lulled him into a state of peaceful introspection. Each droplet washed away the stresses and worries of the day and left behind a feeling of calm.

Beside him, Jungkook watched in awe as Taehyung seemed to lose himself in the beauty of the rain. His usually stoic demeanor softened, his features relaxed and serene as he savored the simple pleasure of the moment.

"Isn't it amazing?" he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook nodded in agreement, her own gaze fixed on the mesmerizing sight of the raindrops dancing against the window. "It's like nature's way of cleansing everything," she replied, her voice filled with wonder.

For a while, they sat in comfortable silence, lost in the beauty of the rain.

Feeling an overwhelming surge of excitement, Jungkook couldn't resist the urge to immerse herself fully in the beauty of the moment. she unbuckled her seatbelt and pushed open the car door, stepping out into the midst of the empty garden of the manor.

Taehyung watched as his wife left the car and ran into the middle of the lush green garden.

The guards left the majestic gate to bring umbrellas to save themselves from the pouring rain.

At that moment, Jungkook felt completely alive. The world around her seemed to fade away, leaving only her and the gentle rhythm of the rain.

The rain fell in a steady gush around her, soaking her clothes and hair as she raised her face to the sky, her eyes closed in blissful surrender. The cool droplets danced against her skin, tracing a path down her cheeks and soaking into the fabric of her clothes.

Taehyung's initial instinct was to call out to her, to urge her to come back to the safety of the car before she caught a cold. But as he watched her enjoying the rain he stopped his urge.

He opened his door and sat sidewards protecting himself from the rain as well as keeping an eye on the little baby.

" Be careful!" he called out, his voice laced with concern, as he watched his wife stumbling over a puddle of water.

But Jungkook paid him no mind, he just got a lazy 'okay' in return.

Her giggles echoed through the empty garden as she danced and twirled in the rain. Her joy was infectious and despite his worries, Taehyung couldn't help but feel admiration for her free spirit.

For a moment, he thought of going after her, to bring her back to the warmth and safety of the car. But as he watched her revel in the simple pleasure of the rain, he couldn't bring himself to interrupt her moment of pure bliss.

So instead, Taehyung stayed where he was, observing Jungkook play in the rain.

A sense of concern gnawed at the back of Taehyung's mind. Despite her fun, he knew that staying out in the cold, wet weather for too long could be risky, especially with the darkness growing darker.

"Mrs Kim, it's time to come back now," he called out, his voice gentle but firm.

But Jungkook seemed lost in her own world, her laughter mingling with the sound of rain as she continued to jump and spin in the middle of the garden. Taehyung frowned, his worry deepening as he realized she wasn't responding to him.

Taehyung decided he couldn't just sit idly by any longer. He stepped out of the car, the cold rain instantly soaking through his clothes. Ignoring the discomfort, he pulled his coat over his head to shield himself from the downpour and hurried towards Jungkook.

"Mrs Kim!" he called out again, his voice stronger this time as he closed the distance between them.

Finally, Jungkook turned to face him, her cheeks flushed with happiness.

"Mr Kim, look at the beautiful garden!" she exclaimed, gesturing to the rain-soaked greenery around them.

"I know it is but it's getting late and you need to get out of the rain before you catch a cold," Taehyung insisted, reaching out to take her hand.

As the rain continued to fall steadily around them, Taehyung quickly draped his coat over both of their heads, creating a makeshift shelter from the downpour.

With a gentle tug, he pulled Jungkook towards the car, his arm wrapped protectively around her shoulders.

"No, I don't want to," Jungkook whined, moving away from Taehyung's grasp.

Taehyung looked at the running figure and facepalmed as he watched her jumping into the small puddles of water.

"you're going to catch a cold!" he called out.

Taehyung called her again but who was Jungkook to listen to?

"Mister Ice Cube, enjoy the rain! You oldie," Jungkook called out between fits of laughter, her voice filled with playful teasing.

"Who are you calling old?" Taehyung asked out loud, his voice cutting the sound of rain.

"You, come on, Mister," Jungkook moved towards him and stood in front of her husband. The tall figure of her husband towered over her small frame.

"Let me teach you how to enjoy these tiny droplets," Jungkook again took a step closer to him and stood on her tippy toes.

Her small palm covered Taehyung's eyes as she gently urged him to close them. Taehyung complied and closed his dark orbs.

"Don't open them, okiee," Jungkook whispered, the droplets rolled as her lips moved.

Jungkook lowered herself to her original height, she smiled widely when Taehyung gave in to her wish and she wrapped her hand around her husband's wrists.

She held them and spread his arms in the air. Jungkook hurriedly opened his sleeve buttons and rolled them up to the elbow. Jungkook bit her lips to stop her smile as stepped backwards away from taehyung.

Taehyung stood tall in the midst of the pouring rain, his arms outstretched to the heavens as if embracing the storm itself. The raindrops fell around him in a mesmerizing gush.

Despite the chill in the air and the dampness seeping into her clothes, Jungkook couldn't help but be captivated by the sight of Taehyung standing there, his silhouette outlined against the soft glow of the garden lights.

There was strength in his posture as if he was the one controlling every element of the earth.

As she watched him, a sense of warmth flooded Jungkook's chest, a feeling of gratitude and admiration for the man who stood before her. Despite his usually reserved personality, Taehyung had a way of embracing life's challenges with a quiet determination that never failed to inspire her.

An idea struck Jungkook's mind as watched Taehyung enjoying the rain.

"You called me Smol right? It's revenge time," Jungkook mumbled to herself, she wiped away the water and looked around to find something.

Her smile widened as she found a puddle of mud water. And beside it, apparently, Arathorn was also sitting, enjoying the rain.

She looked back at Taehyung and then walked to the puddle. Jungkook grabbed a bucket and leaned near the mud water.

Arathorn flapped his wings and shook his neck warning his master's wife not to do this.

"Calm down my bubble," Jungkook slightly caressed the wet head of Arathorn.

And here Arathorn melted.
He betrayed his master. The majestic bird moved away and helped Jungkook fill the bucket.

Jungkook suppressed the bucket deep into the water and pulled it after feeling up to the brim. She stood with great difficulty.

"Wait a minute? I also have magic. Let me use it," Jungkook mumbled.

She closed her eyes and focused her thoughts in one direction.

"No, I will attack with my own strength," Jungkook cutely nodded in determination. She raised her fist and muttered, fighting!

Taehyung was fully engrossed in the rain but a sudden splash disrupted his movements. Before he could react, a burst of water drenched him from head to toe, leaving him sputtering and blinking in surprise.

Turning back to the source of the commotion, Taehyung's eyes widened as he saw Jungkook standing before him with a bucket in her hand. He looked at himself and found himself drenched in mud water. The office shirt he wore was now fully covered in dirt.

Jungkook's laughter rang out like music in the night. She sat there on the ground, slapping the grass, soaked to the bone and grinning mischievously, a picture of pure joy and mischief.

For a moment, Taehyung was speechless, his mind struggling to catch up with the sudden turn of events.

"Well played," Taehyung walked towards his wife with slow steps. His feet crushed the slippery grass as he moved forward and his watch-cladded wrist ruffled his wet black locks.

"Now run," Taehyung spoke, his intense gaze fixed on his mischievous wife.

Jungkook's eyes widened and his breath hitched. She looked at Arathorn for help but Arathorn his face behind his feathers.

"Betrayer, Traitor birdie,"

Jungkook stood up on her feet and moved back. Her feet slipped as there was water behind her.

Taehyung forwards his hand to catch her. But before he could touch, Jungkook took off in a sprint, her wet hair flying behind her as she darted away into the darkness. Taehyung fastened his steps and watched his wife sprinting away.

Clad in a simple yet elegant black dress, Jungkook ran through the garden, her running figure cutting the air like a sharp blade. The sleek fabric clung to her curves in all the right places, emphasizing her slender figure with an allure.

The neckline of the dress dipped modestly, hinting at the delicate curve of her collarbones, while the hemline fell gracefully below her kness, swaying gently with each graceful stride.

Her hands tightly fisted her black dress and pulled it up to prevent her clumsy self from falling. The black dupatta now became sheer and stuck to her front.

Jungkook's open hair framed her face, the wet strands clinging to her cheeks and neck. Despite the rain, her laughter rang out melodiously, a proof of joy as she surrendered herself to the sheer joy of the moment.

Her doe eyes sparkled with mischief and delight and reflected the gleam of the raindrops as they fell from the heavens above. Her bare feet danced lightly upon the wet pavement, leaving behind a trail of ephemeral footprints in the glistening water below.

Jungkook skipped the pavement and climbed the grassland again. Jungkook looked behind and her feet halted.

She panted hard and frowned when she found her husband standing near a pillar with an annoying smirk.

"What happened, smol baby? Can't run anymore," Taehyung spoke loudly as he flickered his wet hair.

Jungkook huffed loudly and calmed her heightening heart. She squeaked loudly when Taehyung began to run again, this time more swiftly.

The wife turned on her heels and took a turn away from her husband's reach.

For a moment, they were like children again, carefree and unburdened by the weight of the world. At that moment, all that mattered was the exhilarating rush of the chase, the sound of Jungkook's laughter mingling with the rain.

As they ran together, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for his wife beside him who had brought so much joy and adventure into his life. In her company, even the simplest moments became magical.

So they ran on, their laughter ringing out into the night, chasing after each other through the rain-soaked lanes, their hearts light and free as they embraced the joy of the moment.

Jungkook scrambled through the rain-soaked streets, her figure became a blur amidst the downpour and Taehyung felt an unexplainable urge to follow her.

With each step, his heart pounded in his chest and the rhythm of his footsteps echoed the racing of his pulse.

Ignoring the rain pelting down upon him, Taehyung quickened his pace, determined to catch up to Jungkook before she disappeared from sight. His movements were fueled by a sense of haste, a need to reach her, to be close to her amidst the storm.

And then, in a burst of speed, Taehyung closed the distance between them, his hand reaching out to grasp hers.

Jungkook felt a sudden tug at her waist, halting her momentum. Before she could react, Taehyung's strong arms wrapped around her from behind, pulling her close to him in a swift motion.

His veiny exposed arm covered the petite waist of his wife.

With a surprised gasp, Jungkook found herself spun around in a graceful twirl, her feet lifting off the ground as Taehyung effortlessly guided her in a spin.

The world seemed to blur around them as they moved in perfect synchrony, Jungkook's laughter mingling with the soft pitter-patter of raindrops.

Taehyung felt a sense of peace wash over him, a feeling of completeness as he held Jungkook in his arms. At that moment, there were only the two of them, lost in the beauty of the rain and the warmth of each other's embrace.

Jungkook's heart raced in her chest as she leaned back into Taehyung's embrace, feeling the warmth of his body against hers despite the chill of the rain.

Taehyung gently set her back on her feet, their eyes met in a silent exchange of affection.
At that moment, Jungkook knew that she was exactly where she belonged, wrapped in the arms of this man, dancing in the rain like there was no tomorrow.

Jungkook's face lit up with genuine happiness. Her eyes crinkled at the corners, sparkling with delight, while her lips curved into a wide smile. Her cheeks flushed with excitement, adding a rosy hue to her already glowing complexion, and her hair clung to her face in damp tendrils, framing her features with an untamed beauty.

"Let's dance," Jungkook spoke, her voice cutting through the gentle patter of raindrops around them.

"So demanding, aren't you?" Taehyung asked, raising his wet eyebrow.

With a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, Jungkook took a step closer to Taehyung, her hand still intertwined with his. There was a glint of mischief in her eyes as she looked up at him.

Taehyung's gaze met hers and for a brief moment, an understanding passed between them.

Taehyung's hand rested securely on Jungkook's waist, guiding her with a tender touch that spoke of trust and devotion. Jungkook's fingers intertwined with his, their connection strong and unbreakable.

The Husband's hand was wrapped around his wife's lower back while the other one held her small hand and his almond eyes gazed at her so intensely.

His intense eyes made Jungkook's breath stuck in her throat as she maintained eye contact with taehyung.

They began with a simple sway, their bodies swaying gently from side to side as they found their rhythm. With each step, they drew closer together, their movements growing more effortless.

Taehyung twirled his wife around with a forefinger before holding her clothed waist again and pressing her closer to himself.

The sound of the rain became their music and they began to twirl and spin.  their movements become more graceful with each passing moment.
Jungkook's sweet giggles filled the space between them, a pleasant melody that echoed in Taehyung's heart.

Jungkook's hand rested delicately on Taehyung's shoulder. Taehyung's gaze was filled with tenderness and admiration as he looked into Jungkook's eyes, his affection for her shining brightly even in the dim light of the night.

"Dry yourself. I will fetch some clothes for you," Taehyung handed Jungkook a fluffy white towel.

Jungkook raised her hand and gripped the towel in her fingers and at last nodded feeling shy all of sudden.

The sound of the phone rang in the bathroom. Taehyung pulled his phone out of his pants pocket and answered it while moving out of the bathroom.

Jungkook moved her right arm back and held the zipper of the dress to pull it down, meanwhile, her other hand was busy rubbing the wet locks.

Suddenly, her movements halted and her eyes widened when something struck her mind.

"Oh no, clothes? My cupboard! No, my precious B—,"
In the next moment, Jungkook ran out of the bathroom, her heartbeat heightening every second.

Her eyes became wider than usual when she saw Taehyung was going to open the cupboard.

She remembered with a jolt that she had hidden her collection of dark romance books inside, the novels she knew Taehyung would not approve of. Jungkook quickly stepped forward, her voice filled with urgency as she called out to him.

"Mr Kim! Wait!" she exclaimed, her tone sharp and frantic, her hand reaching out to grasp his arm to stop him.

Taehyung turned to look at her, his brows furrowed in confusion at her sudden outburst.

"what's wrong?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Jungkook felt her heart pounding as she searched for the right words, her mind racing about explaining without revealing the truth. She squeezed her tiny body into the space between Taehyung and the wooden cupboard.

"I...um...I. Can do it. Don't bother," she stammered, her voice trembling slightly.

"What are you hiding? " Taehyung asked, his gaze fixed on Jungkook. He instantly recognised something was not right.

Jungkook felt a flush of embarrassment creep into her cheeks as she searched for a plausible explanation, her mind racing to come up with a convincing lie.

"Oh, um...nothing," Jungkook replied quickly, her voice slightly shaky. "I just...It's nothing important."

Taehyung's brows furrowed slightly at her answer with a hint of doubt flickering in his eyes. He stepped closer to her, his gaze lingering on the cupboard behind his wife as if trying to see through its closed doors.

"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice low, "You seem...nervous."

"Ya! Why am I - I would be nervous? It's not like I'm hiding something," Jungkook fakely chuckled at last trying to ease the surroundings.

The way her husband looked at her made her realize he wasn't convinced by her excuse. The moment he moved forward to investigate further Jungkook instinctively reached out and pressed herself against the solid door of the cupboard. her hand came to rest on his sturdy chest. The hands curled into fists and clutched the wet fabric.

This action of the wife effectively halted the husband's progress.

Jungkook could feel the warmth of his skin beneath her touch, his chest rising and falling with each breath. The small space between the cupboard and Taehyung's body seemed to shrink with each passing second, until Jungkook could feel the solid weight of his presence pressing against her.

Jungkook's breath caught in her throat as she felt the firmness of his chest against her palm, the heat of his body seeping into her skin.

But it wasn't just the physical closeness that left Jungkook feeling breathless. As the wife looked up into Taehyung's eyes, she saw something she had never seen before – a raw, unguarded vulnerability that sent her heart skyrocketing.

At that moment, Taehyung was lost in the abyss of Jungkook's gaze, her eyes reflected longing and adoration that took his breath away.

The husband was captivated by the wife's wet beauty, her damp hair framing her delicate features. He found himself unable to tear his gaze away from her.

Taehyung was still processing the situation. He looked at Jungkook who was pressed between. The plain black iris fluttered slowly, making the butterflies in Taehyung's stomach stir up. The mole on Jungkook's neck was a tiny, subtle detail that drew Taehyung's gaze like a moth to a flame. Nestled just below the collarbone, it was dark against the creamy expanse of her flushed neck.

It looked beautiful and mesmerizing.

Jungkook followed her husband's gaze and gasped in surprise. The fabric of her blouse clung to her skin, damp and slightly translucent in places. It reveals the curve of her collarbone and the delicate outline of her cleavage beneath. The sleeves hung loosely from her shoulders, slipping down slightly to expose the smooth expanse of her arms.

Her damp strands were sticking to her skin against the pale flushed neck. The ends curled slightly from the moisture, framing her features.

Despite the dishevelment of her appearance, there was a certain raw beauty to Jungkook at this moment and Taehyung found himself attracted to it.

Taehyung gulped at the thought. His heart and mind were in a total love triangle with him.

The elder became frozen in thought when Jungkook blinked her starry orbs and looked at the elder.

Jungkook moved her hands and pulled the collars of her dress up, trying to hide her milky chest from her husband's predator eyes.

"Mr Kim" Jungkook's eyes became wide open and it made Taehyung come back to the world. He blinked and looked at his wife who was trying to wiggle out of his grip. Jungkook again twisted his wrist and tried to get out of Taehyung's embrace only to feel the grip more strong.

"I'm_I'm_'' Jungkook hesitated as she felt her face heat up.

"You what?" The voice was deep, making the wife curl up more into the hard arms.

Taehyung tore his gaze away from his wife.

Jungkook looked up at him, her eyes wide with nervousness. "Please, you don't need to look. It's really nothing important."

Taehyung's hand tightened around Jungkook's as he pulled her away from the cupboard. Jungkook said dumbfounded as Taehyung tossed her away. He reached out and swung open the cupboard door, his eyes scanning the contents within.

His breath caught in his throat as he saw something lying carelessly inside. His mind raced with questions, his heart pounding in his chest as he struggled to make sense of what he was seeing.

Jungkook watched anxiously, her own heart racing with apprehension as she waited for Taehyung's reaction. She held her breath, her eyes wide with fear and uncertainty as she braced herself for his response.

A rush of embarrassment flooded through Taehyung as he realized what he was catching sight of. His cheeks flushed with heat as he tried to process the sight before him, his thoughts spinning with questions and uncertainty.

"What on earth...?" he murmured to himself, his voice barely above a whisper as he reached out a tentative hand towards the disarray.

Jungkook flinched as Taehyung's hand hovered near the cupboard, her heart racing as she watched his reaction with growing unease.

A knot formed in the pit of her stomach as she waited for his response, her mind racing with thoughts of how to explain the mess before him.

"I...I'm sorry, I will never," Jungkook stammered, her voice trembling slightly as she stepped forward, her eyes downcast with embarrassment.

Taehyung's hand hovered near the cupboard, Jungkook's heart skipped a beat, her breath catching in her throat as panic surged through her veins. She watched with wide eyes, her mind racing with fear as she imagined the worst possible scenario unfolding before her.

"Oh no," she whispered to herself, her palms growing clammy with apprehension. "Is he going to throw away my books?"

She couldn't bear the idea of losing her precious collection, each book holding a special place in her heart.

Jungkook watched with shaky breath, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for his next move.
The wife looked as Taehyung clenched his jaw, his fingers tightening over the edge of the door.

But to her surprise, Taehyung's hand hesitated, his fingers lingering in midair as if suspended by an invisible force.

His brow furrowed in confusion, his gaze flickering between Jungkook and the cupboard as if searching for answers.

She cast a sheepish glance at Taehyung, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment at her overreaction.

"Mr Kim ," she mumbled, her voice tinged with embarrassment. "I thought...never mind."

With a swift motion, Taehyung reached out and shut the cupboard door firmly, the sound echoing through the room.

Jungkook flinched at the abrupt action, her heart skipping a beat as her breath caught in her throat once again. She blinked in surprise, her eyes wide with confusion as she looked up at Taehyung, searching for an explanation.

"Sorry," Taehyung muttered, his voice tinged with a hint of discomfort. "It's just...better to keep it closed for now."

His words were brief, but Jungkook could sense the tension in his tone. She nodded silently, a knot of unease forming in the pit of her stomach as she wondered what had prompted his sudden change in behaviour.

"I'm sorry,"
With that Taehyung stepped away, leaving Jungkook alone in the room.

"What happened to him?" Jungkook mumbled as she watched Taehyung's retreating figure.

Jungkook opened the cupboard door as soon as Taehyung went away and a huge wave of embarrassment washed over her. Her eyes widened in disbelief as they landed on the chaotic scene before her.

Inside the cupboard, Jungkook's neatly folded clothes were nowhere to be seen. Instead, they lay scattered randomly across the shelves, some dangling precariously over the edge as if they had been hastily tossed aside. She slapped her forehead when she saw her undergarments lying aimlessly beside the washed ones.

"Did Mr Kim see this mess?"

"Of course, you stupid!" Jungkook instantly replied to herself and banged her head on the cupboard.

The realization that Taehyung hadn't seen her books, but rather the chaotic mess she had created. This filled her with a sense of shame.

Her cheeks flushed with heat as she replayed the scene in her mind, cringing at her own overreaction and the unnecessary panic it had caused.

"Why? Just why? Why can't my day end without any embarrassment?" Jungkook cried dramatically and started hitting her head lightly on the cupboard.
