I should mention that there will be some dark moments in this story. There is nothing Dark this chapter, but in the future there will be a few moments.

Also I forgot to mention that Grimm aren't in this story. Beacon is like a police academy. We can probably just call this story an AU.

(3rd POV)

Ozpin sat in his office watching the footage from the raid again. He wanted to be absolutely sure with his decision. Everyone came into the office clustered around his desk. He pushed a button and a screen came out of the floor.

Ozpin: Lets go over the footage. I want your impute on what I should do

Ruby: What do you mean Professor?

Ozpin: I have to make a tough decision, but I want to know what you think about the situation

Ozpin started playing the footage from the start of the raid. Everyone facepalmed when they saw Nora accidentally blow up the base again.

Y/n grunted in disproval. He rubbed his stomach, feeling the cut he got because he tripped from the shockwave.

Ozpin: Lets switch to Y/n's feed. While you guys were beginning your assault, he was already engaged with a target

The feed switched tonY/n's, starting when he found Adam. All of the students had shocked face when they saw Adam.

Blake: Y-You fought A-Adam!

Weiss: He's the strongest fighter they have!

Y/n: So what?

Blake: You could have died!

Y/n: I won't die until he dies

Weiss: You don't know that!

Ozpin: Lets continue...

They all watched Y/n's fight with Adam. Everyone cringed when they saw some of the blows you took, but when they saw the one from Adam's mech they all had to look over at you to make sure you were alive.

Ozpin declared a short break to let everyone calm down. They soon continued watching, but from team RWBY's feed.

It took about an hour before they got to the final portion. They were all confused as to why Blake and Weiss let Cinder escape. Some were even angered.

Blake and Weiss were confused as to what they saw. Nowhere in the footage was Ruby and Yang being held captive. They were sure they saw them. Both of them even agreed with each other.

Jaune: Why did you let them get away?

Coco: You guys had a perfect shot at finishing this!

Velvet: What the heck girls!

Blake: B-But we swear we saw them captive!

Weiss: Why would we lie about this!?

Yang: You saw it yourself! Nothing like that happened

Ruby: I told you I was right!

Nora: They betrayed us!

Ren: Nora lets not jump to conclusions

Ruby: No she's right! They did betray us!

Teams: Yea!

Weiss: W-What!?

Blake: N-No we didn't!

Y/n stayed silent the entire time. He knew what he saw, but the footage proved it to be fake. Saying something now would only get him in trouble.

Ozpin: This makes my decision easier. Blake, Weiss I'm sorry

In an instant handcuffs were placed on them. Both utterly shocked that their own friends didn't believe them.

Y/n felt pity when he looked into their eyes. He could sympathize with their sorrow. Everyone was slightly shocked about Blake and Weiss being taken away, but quickly got over it.

Those two betrayed them after all so it was expected. Everyone left back to their dorms to think about the events that had transpired.

Yang and Ruby were the most hurt about the situation. They want to believe in their teammates, but that was solid proof against them.

Yang: Do you really believe they betrayed us?

Ruby: I don't want to, but I can't help it

Yang: It's safest this way

Ruby: Is it? How can we know that?

Yang: All that mattered is that we are both safe

Ruby:...

Similar conversations were happing with the other teams, but they didn't know Blake and Weiss like Ruby and Yang. They could get behind Ozpin's plan easily.

Y/n on the other hand was having a battle rage on in his head. He wasn't sure who to trust right now. Ozpin has always tried to help Y/n after he lost his team, but to arrest two of his students was extreme.

He knew Ozpin had the resources to investigate the situation more before making a rash move like he did.

(Y/n POV)

I understand your trying to keep your students safe Ozpin, but two wrongly accuse two students and arrest them?

You could have at least put in a little more research. Who knows what effect this will have. Y/n's thought were interrupted when his scroll went off.

Y/n: Hello?

Ozpin: I've got another mission for you Y/n

Y/n: What do you need?

Ozpin: The white fang our going to attack the jail and break out their friends capture in the raid

Y/n: So you want me to stop them?

Ozpin: Exactly

Y/n: Ok

I grumbled in annoyance. Ozpin knows I dispize the white fang, but I can't accept every mission. I don't even know why he asks me, because I'm not even allowed to decline them anyways.

Timeskip

Tonight was pretty silent. I starting to think Ozpin might be wrong about the attack. I sat on a roof staring at the jail.

My thoughts drifted back to this morning. Blake and Weiss would be in their. All I could do is sit back and wait, letting my mind wonder as far as it wants.

Yurei: Why do you follow Ozpin so blindly?

Y/n: You love ruining my days don't you?

Yurei: He was the one that sent us on that mission

Y/n: Don't ever mention that day!

Yurei: Why? He's the reason why we lost our team, Y/n!

Y/n: Shut up!

Yurei: He knew what would happen and he sent us anyways!

Y/n: He couldn't have known!

Yurei: You know how much power Ozpin has! You know how long he spent researching that place!

Y/n: I said shut up!

Yurei: So why do you still listen to him!?

Y/n:...

Why do I still follow his orders? Yurei is right, Ozpin did send us on the mission even though he knew how dangerous it was.

What was he trying to accomplish? What would he gain from that mission? Was he planning on us dying?

Y/n: No! Ozpin would never betray me!

Yurei: He did! He wants to use us Y/n! We have the power to bring death!

Y/n: You're lying!

Yurei: Remember that day!? He arrived just in time to save us! Only us!

Y/n: That's not his fault!

Yurei: He planned it!

Y/n: You're wrong!

Yurei: I want what's best for us, Y/n! Look around and see what's happening around you!

Y/n:...

Could he really have betrayed me? I don't want to believe it, but everything lines up. The mission, the rescue, my curse. Would Ozpin really just do this so he could use me?

How long has it been since they died? I've forgotten so much of that day. Yurei reminded me of so much and looking back on it, a lot of that day was suspicious.

Ozpin really did get my team killed! All for this stupid curse! I couldn't trust him anymore. I couldn't go back to Beacon, not after everything I just figured out.

I looked back at the jail, noticing the white fang storming the building. I used my mist form to pass by soldiers and the police force. I used the assault as a distraction so I could locate Blake and Weiss.

I found them sitting in a plain cell, crying. Both of them looked terrible. I knocked on the bars of the cell, gaining their attention.

Y/n: Ready to go?

Blake: Wh-What?

Y/n: Are you ready to go?

Weiss: W-What do y-you mean

Y/n: Oum above! I'm breaking you out!

Blake: W-Why you saw the video. We betrayed everyone

Y/n: I saw the video, but I know what I really saw. Both of you are innocent

Weiss: Y-You saw t-them too?

Y/n: Yep! Now are you ready to go?

BW: Yes!

Y/n: Grab onto me then

They both grabbed my hands as I became mist again. Both of them widened their eyes when they started to turn into mist as well.

I lead them past all the fighting and out of the jail. I brought them back up to the roof and transformed back.

I knew I couldn't stay in Vale any longer after this. I was going to be labeled a traitor and hunted down.

Weiss: What now?

Y/n: Lets just focus on leaving Vale

Blake: Where will we go?

Y/n: I don't know yet, but we can't stay here any longer. All 3 of us are traitor to Beacon now

I used my powers again to get us to the edge of Vale as quickly as I can. We could stay in one of the run down apartments for the night, but leave early morning.

As soon as we are safe, planning for our next move will be top priority. I would have to stay as many steps ahead of Ozpin and Cinder as I could get.

This was going to be one hard war to win.

I'm proud of myself. This story hasn't had a chapter under 1500 word yet. Sometimes I struggle with getting around a thousand, but not for this story. That's not to say it might happen in the future, but so far no.
