Dagger in the back (written by DonnaLawliet)
„Is that really necessary?!", asked Dark, slightly scratching at his neck. He had a crucifix around it, which already burnt a bit into his skin like acid, but much slower.
„It is!", said Mark while continuing walking, „It will prevent you from killing one of us while we're sleeping."
Seán, Marvin and Chase sighed at that conversation. They still didn't know the backstory of Dark and Mark, why they seemed to hate each other so badly. But then, they didn't really wanted to know. Suddenly, they all heard horse hooves, thumping through the forest. As they came nearer, all of them could see how the dust danced through the air, before the figure behind it stopped right before them.
„Don't you vorry!", said a centaur with a thick strange accent, „Ve are vinally 'ere!"
On his back sat another man with pointy ears, blonde hair and a green vest, but also with a little bit fur on his shoulders.
He smiled as he descended from the centaurs back, hugging Seán tight.
„It's okay buddy", said Seán while smiling, „I missed you too, Jamie."
He escaped from the hug and looked at the half-horse who was a bitt taller than him.
„Hello Henrik", he said, „May I introduce to you? King Mark, king of the south and east."
„It's an honor", smiled Henrik, going on his knees to bow before Mark. Mark smiled as well, looking at the black horse body of Henrik. Meanwhile, Dark was just standing a side, looking bored and slightly annoyed. He looked at Jamie who was hugging Marvin and Chase. For a split second, his eyes flashed to red, because of hunger, before they died down to normal black. Jamie let out a silent laugh, before facing the vampire. Suddenly, his eyes widened and rolled back into his head, his body falling to the ground with a soft thud.
„Jamie!", yelled Chase as he bent down, trying to help the unconscious elf on the ground.
„Step aside!", ordered Marvin, crouching down and putting his hand on Jamie's forehead.
„What's going on with him?", asked Mark in confusion, „Dark, did you do this?!"
„He didn't", interrupted Seán, „He's having a vision."
„I have to get him out of it", said Marvin, his eyes starting to gleam, „He's too weak from the last one, he wouldn't survive."
The magician closed his eyes, sending a strange light into the youngers head, before opening them again and standing up. Jamie immediately shot up, gasping for air and clutching his chest. Dark looked at it with a fascinated expression, before smiling an evil grin.
Meanwhile, Jamie was signing something to Seán: I saw you and Mark. Both of you were on the ground, maybe grass? Around the grass was forest, a few stones were standing in a circle, you were both in the middle. You were dead or dying, I don't know. And...
He abruptly stopped signing, his hands shaking from fear.
He then continued: And you had a dagger in your back.
„Is this the future?", asked Mark, a bit scared.
„Not exactly", said Marvin, „Jamie's visions are very strange. Sometimes they show the future, the past, the present, what the future COULD be... Or warnings."
„And who gives him these visions?", Chase interrupted, confused.
Marvin shrugged: „Nobody knows."
„So Dark", said Seán as Jamie could stand on his own feet without passing out, „What do we need in order to help Felix?"
Dark smirked as he chuckled: „It's simple. We have to find someone. He knows exactly what we need and where to find it."
„And vho is zat person?", asked Henrik, his hooves scratching over the ground.
Dark's smile grew wider, before answering: „Anti."
Seán gulped, but then hesitantly nodded.
„Who is that?", asked Mark, not knowing why Seán would react like this.
„A leprechaun", whispered Seán, „He attacked so many people who tried to enter his forest. Nobody survived it yet."
„Just follow me or run like scared dogs", shrugged Dark as he stepped forward, „It's your choice."
They all looked at each other, before Chase sighed and followed the vampire, the others quickly joining. Jamie was still a bit drowsy, so he lifted himself on Henrik's back.
After a few hours, they reached a circle of grass in the middle of the forest. Inside was also a stone circle, on each stone flickered a green fire. Sunset had already happened, it was the deepest night. Only the moon gave a bit light, plus the fire. As they stepped in the circle, a high pitched laughter echoed through the forest, followed by Dark's evil chuckles.
And suddenly, a figure appeared, completely dressed in black leather and with strange green hair. The eyes switched between emerald green and pitch black.
„Well look at that!", laughed Anti at Dark who smiled at the leprechaun, „The mighty Dark, chained up like a dog in a shelter!"
„I was never chained up", said Dark as he approached Anti, removing the crucifix without any problems, while the others just stood there in shock, „It's nice to see you. Antisepticeye."
He then turned around, facing Mark and Seán with an evil smirk: „Crucifixes may do something to normal vampires, but not to me. I didn't actually swore to you anything. And as for your little elf's vision", he pointed at Jamie, „The daggers were simply... symbolic. A dagger in the back. Betrayal."
