Part 10
Castor woke up, half-blinded by bright blue light. He squinted through half-closed eyes and faintly saw a blue golden eagle flying around the cold hallway before everything faded back to black...

"Castor? Cas, where are you?" fretted a frizzy-haired woman "Castor?"
Castor sat up, blearily opening his eyes as he heard his mother's voice. He looked upward. He hadn't dreamt it. The eagle still flew above his head, bathing him in warm light.
"Mum, I'm over here!" he cried "Over here!"
His mother ran over from behind another row of cells. "Oh, Cas, I didn- Castor, what is that?" She had seen the patrons.
"Just a patronus, Mum."
"Just a patronus? Castor, at your age, a Patronus should be impossible."
"But Hadria-"
His mother interrupted. "Hadrian is on a whole different level, sweetheart. He's been neglected, locked up, with nothing to do but practise magic. Hadrian can non-verbally, wandlessly cast a Vindex. And you know who could cast a Vindex-"
"Merlin and Slytherin, I know."
"Exactly. The two most powerful wizards in the world... Except our Lord, of course. Anyway, we're getting off-topic. We should go and see Hadrian when he's out of shackles."

(Two Hours Later...)
"A Patronus? You cast a Patronus?"
Castor nodded.
"That's great news! Can you show me?"
Castor nodded again and muttered "Expecto Patronum!" The golden eagle burst out of his outstretched hand and flew around the dank cell, casting a warm glow on everyone inside.
