96. Revival

"Cloud!"

Yoongi was furious. Truthfully, he wasn't even sure if that was the right term to describe what he was currently feeling.

The moment you were punctured through the stomach with a laser beam, Yoongi had seemingly lost all reason. Blue flames burned all over his body. His gem remained its bright orange color. Despite that, the fire gem bearer's thoughts were filled with murderous intent.

A dreadful silence passed as you slowly wobbled and fell into the crater. Everyone was seemingly frozen with the exception of Shay, who dove in and caught you before you could hit the ground.

"Guardian, what have you done?!," Shay screamed loudly, her eyes widened in terror. "Brother, we must—"

Shay paused when she got a good look at Taehyung's face. Yoongi figured that he was furious, after all he also cared about you a lot. The rest of the team screamed afterwards but they only sounded like murmurs in the fire gem bearer's ears.

A loud blast from nearby made Yoongi's ears ring for a bit. He turned and saw Emily and Jin jump as a laser beam zapped the area where they once stood.

"This is truly bothersome."

The familiar voice made Yoongi's blood boil. With burning eyes, the fire gem bearer looked up. King Michael stood on a warship's deck, his hands still gripping the handles of the ship's laser gun.

Behind King Michael, more Helian warships continued to spawn until the sunlight itself was blocked off. The streets were engulfed with shadows. But at this moment, Yoongi didn't care about how outnumbered they were. Instead he felt a burning rage he didn't think he was capable of feeling.

"I wanted to stand down and watch all of you perish," King Michael had a playful yet irritating grin. "But it seems that I would have to act myself."

"Father!," Shay's jaw trembled as she screamed through gritted teeth.

"Damn," Hoseok wore a crooked grin and cocked his head. "That's one crazy dude."

For a moment, Yoongi imagined himself jumping into the air and torching King Michael with his flames until he was nothing but a charred corpse. Yes, that was what he deserved, especially because of the fatal injury he had given you.

Behind Yoongi, Holly groaned in both fear and worry. The fire gem bearer stepped forward as the thoughts looped in his head. He was going to kill King Michael with his bare hands, no matter wha

Yoongi paused when he was halted. Turning to the side with wide eyes, the fire gem bearer was confused when he saw Jungkook with a hand against his chest.

"Why are you stopping me?," Yoongi asked slowly. His eyes twitched as his nails grew to sharp talons. Holly groaned again.

Jungkook didn't look scared at all, which surprised Yoongi. Instead, the angel released a heavy sigh. The fire gem bearer noticed how the angel's hands shook, as well as the way his blue eyes slightly watered. Somehow, the sight of it made him soften.

"Yoongi, I know how you feel, yeah?," Jungkook huffed, his cheeks puffing. Yoongi noticed the scar on his cheek. "But... I don't think you would want to get in his way."

Yoongi was about to question Jungkook's words and wondered if he spoke his thoughts out loud. The fire gem bearer paused when he felt a sudden surge of dark energy in the air.

Swallowing dryly, Yoongi followed the heavy trail of darkness and turned around. Taehyung stood at the edge of the crater, his hands balled into trembling fists.

Purple mist was surrounding Taehyung, the energy veining into the air to resemble brittle black branches. This aura around the Helian prince was completely different from the one Yoongi encountered back in Hel. Now, the fire gem bearer was actually terrified.

"T-The energy around Taehyung."

"I know, Chim."

Yoongi glanced at the others and was stunned to see them all trembling a bit, seemingly out of instinct. Even Shay was horrified. This made the fire gem bearer realized that he was shaking as well.

Is this the true power of the gem, so terrifying that it brought fear to even the wonders? Yoongi's breath hitched in his throat. He couldn't even imagine how dangerous it was to go against this Taehyung and wondered if he would have lived afterwards.

"Jimin," Taehyung spoke slowly, his deep voice firm. "Take Sky and get to a safe place. The rest should follow."

Yoongi had to do a double take to realize what Taehyung had just said. Did he just order everyone to leave him behind? As much as the fire gem bearer wanted to protest, the presence of the dark aura made him hesitate.

Instead, Shay screamed out his thoughts. It took quite a while to convince Taehyung to accept the others' help, so much so that Namjoon, Shay and Jungkook had to combine their efforts. Yoongi just watched in silence, even as the darkness gem bearer unleashed his demon form.

Yoongi snapped back to reality when another laser beam zapped to the ground. Looking down into the crater, the fire gem bearer's anger peaked again when he barely caught sight of Jimin dodging with your bleeding figure in his arms.

"Go!," Taehyung bared his pointed teeth, his purple eyes piercing. "Now!"

In one swift movement, Taehyung spread his wings and jumped as he turned into a purple beam in the sky. Jungkook and Shay followed. Hearing a gust of wind, Yoongi followed the sound and saw a trail of dust replacing Jimin's figure.

"God, why does he have to be so fast?!," Jin grumbled in frustration. A puddle of water appeared under his feet.

Jin surfed out of Yoongi's view, the golden trident in his hands glinting. At that moment, everyone made a silent agreement and tailed the water gem bearer.

Yoongi grunted as he hopped over a police car and slid across its hood. Holly snapped its jaws together as a policeman screamed at the fire gem bearer.

"What?," Yoongi grumbled as a reply. Holly repeated its words again, the snapping more persistent. "Yeah, I've done this before. So what?"

Holly released a croak, which sounded more like a grunt than words. Yoongi laughed and showed off his gums, the expression instantly fading when he got close to your figure.

Yoongi felt his heart shatter inside him. Although Jin had already healed the gaping hole in your abdomen, you were still pale and unconscious. Blood stains were all over your shirt and jacket, some even clumped on your silver hair.

Holly rubbed its snout on Yoongi's chest and whined. "Yoongi... okay?"

Yoongi sighed and gently stroked Holly's head. Instead of replying, he kneeled next to Jin. "How is she?"

Jin pursed his lips into a thin line. His eyes flashed a bright blue as he hovered his glowing palm over your face. The water gem bearer then released a loud sigh.

"Seokjin," Yoongi hissed once Jin turned to give him a skeptical look. "Don't look at me like that. How is she?"

Jin glanced behind him and Yoongi followed his gaze. Everyone else in the team was staring at the water gem bearer in both horror and anticipation. Jimin was glued next to Namjoon, who had an arm hooked around his waist.

"Sky is alive," Jin spoke after what seemed like hours of dreadful silence. "Barely."

Yoongi didn't even get to release a sigh of relief. He stared at Jin, who returned an apologetic look. "What?"

"Oh no," Hoseok ran a hand through his dark hair and cocked his head. "Not again."

"You can save her," Emily spoke sternly from behind Jin, her swollen eyes burning with determination. "Just like you did to Jungkook."

"Of course I can," Jin put on a cocky smirk. Yoongi squinted his eyes. "But I'm going to need time."

"How much time are we talking about here?," Jimin spoke suddenly and swallowed dryly. "Because I don't think we have much to spare."

Yoongi could feel the dread in Jimin's voice. His eyes widened after he followed the thunder gem bearer's gaze. Taehyung resembled a purple beam in the sky as he pierced through numerous Helian ships. At the same time, hover-bikes started to rise from the decks.

To Yoongi, the hover-bikes resembled flies as they flew in swarms and split into two groups in the air. One group headed towards Taehyung while the other went to their direction.

Yoongi squinted his eyes. His line of thought was shattered when Emily screamed. "Really?! Can't they give us a break?!"

"They're so persistent!," Hoseok screeched, eyes glowing green behind the thick lens of his goggles. "It's like they're after Sky or—"

Hoseok paused suddenly, his eyes widened in both shock and realization. Namjoon spoke first with a protruded chin. "Seok?"

"That's it," Hoseok suddenly put on a smirk.. "That's it! The army is after Sky!"

"Hoseokie, you are too enthusiastic," Jimin spoke in a soft whisper, his thick lips unconsciously forming a pout.

"Sorry," Hoseok awkwardly rubbed his nape. "It's just— it all makes sense now and—"

"Does it matter?"

Everyone turned towards Yoongi, who flaming hands were balled into tight fights. Holly was perched on his shoulders now as it gently rubbed its snout on the fire gem bearer's cheek. The dragon's touch helped him calm down.

"I know it isn't anyone's fault that Sky ended up like this," Yoongi didn't have the courage to turn towards you again. Instead, he sighed. "But she's been protecting us all this time. It's about time we return the favor."

A short silence passed, which was instantly shattered by the revving of engines from above. Yoongi looked up and saw the hover-bikes nearing with their guns pointed right at them.

"To answer Jimin's question," Jin finally spoke, his blonde fringe falling just above his glowing blue eyes. "I need as much time as you guys can give me."

Namjoon nodded firmly as his aura changed drastically. He stepped forward with a determined expression. "For now, we have one goal. Stall the Helians until Jin heals Sky completely."

Flames erupted from Yoongi's palms. Holly rose into the air and flapped its wings before releasing a loud battlecry. "Do not let any of them through."

"Exactly," Namjoon nodded and faced Jin. "It would be best for you to pick up the pace."

"I know," Jin deadpanned. Water started to swirl on the ground, forming a circle around him and Sky. "Good luck."

Yoongi watched as water rose and froze around you and Jin, creating a thick dome of ice. The ice then started to glow. From the fire gem bearer's view, he could see the shadow of Jin's figure with his hand hovering above your face.

With a deep sigh, Yoongi prayed to every possible god out there that Jin could heal you in time. Glaring at the hover-bikes spinning above, flames burned over the fire gem bearer's shoulders.

"Yoongi," Holly spoke from above Yoongi, its wings flapping gently. "Sky... okay?"

Yoongi flashed Holly a small smile of reassurance. "I'll make sure she will be."

Hearing the firing of guns, Yoongi looked up and saw a small group of hover-bikes shooting at the ice dome. As expected, the bullets bounced off. The fire gem bearer instantly sunk to the floor to dodge them.

Yoongi looked up and was glad that Holly had avoided the bullets. The others, however, weren't so lucky. He turned around when he heard Jimin screech in pain.

"Chim!," Namjoon screamed from behind Jimin, who was standing in front of him with his arms spread.

"I'm alright, Joonie," Jimin smiled cheekily, his eyes turning into crinkles. He glanced at the bullet wound in his calf. "This is nothing."

"Guys?!," Emily pointed her arrow in the air, blood trickling down the bullet wound of her arm. "Up top!"

Yoongi's eyes widened once he looked up. Hover-bikes were swirling in circles over Jin's ice dome. "Hoseok?!"

"On it!," Hoseok hopped and landed on top of the ice dome. He raised his arms as pillars of wind shot upwards from his palms.

The hover-bikes swirled in the air once they were hit with the strong wind. Yoongi flinched when there was a explosion nearby and saw Emily pulling out another arrow through the corner of his eye.

"Yoongi, behind you!"

Hearing Emily's scream, Yoongi turned around and caught sight of a hover-bike speeding towards him. With gritted teeth, the flames surrounding his body turned bright blue.

Yoongi took a deep breath before he let out a strong pillar of blue flame from his mouth. Despite how long he had been living with these powers, the fire gem bearer was still amazed. He couldn't feel the intensity of the flames, instead the heat just licked the surface of his lips.

The Helian rider was pushed backwards until the hover-bike crashed into a nearby building. Yoongi paused when he ran out of breath, the flames extinguishing instantly.

Before Yoongi could realize what just happened, he heard a familiar shriek of pain from his pet dragon. "Holly!"

Holly's wings were being pulled by a Helian rider whose hover-bike flew just overhead. Yoongi's fists balled as he was about to pounce but stopped when an arrow went through the Helian's forehead instead.

Yoongi stumbled a bit when he caught Holly. "Thanks, Em!"

Emily nodded and shot an arrow without looking. A hover-bike exploded above, the flames and debris falling around her.

Namjoon raised a fist. A hand shaped figure of rock rose from the ground and punched through multiple hover-bikes. "They're too many of them!"

"Don't say that!," Jimin winced because of his injured leg. Thunderbolts shot out of his fingertips. "We can do this!"

There was a thump from behind the due that made them turn around. A Helian rider had jumped off the hover-bike and was now attempting to shatter the ice dome with his fists.

Before either Namjoon or Jimin could react, Hoseok literally swept in and snatched the Helian rider. "I got this! Focus on your surroundings!"

As if on cue, Namjoon spotted suspicious movement from above. Looking up, the earth gem bearer saw a Helian rider hovering just above. Then a compartment opened underneath it.

Recognizing the grappling hook, Namjoon instinctively pushed Jimin away before grabbing it. The earth gem bearer winced slightly when the hook's claws wounded his hand.

"Chim, stand back!," Namjoon growled loudly. Jimin froze for a second and nodded before he continued to attack other Helian riders.

Namjoon gritted his pointed teeth and grabbed the grappling hook's rope with both hands. When the hover-bike attempted to fly away, the earth gem bearer pulled.

"You're not getting away," Namjoon whispered as his heels dug into the soil. Especially because you tried to hurt Jimin— he wanted to say. Instead, he kept those thoughts to himself.

Namjoon's ears perked when he heard revving of engines coming closer from behind. With a low growl rumbling in his throat, the earth gem bearer heaved and pulled the rope with all his strength.

The hover-bike swung in the air and slammed into the Helian riders who were heading towards Namjoon and Jimin. A loud explosion came, the force blowing the earth gem bearer's hair back.

Namjoon dropped the rope and rubbed his wounded hand. Hearing a loud exclamation from next to him, the earth gem bearer raised an eyebrow and turned around.

"Wow," Jimin's eyes sparkled as he gave Namjoon a fond look. "That was so cool, Joonie!"

Namjoon put on a dimpled smirk. Before he could gush about how adorable Jimin was, he noticed something peculiar about Jin's ice dome.

Yoongi caught a sudden brightness from the corner of his eyes and turned around. Jin's ice dome was pulsing a bright blue from inside. He could no longer see his or your shadows either.

"Is that supposed to be happening?!," Namjoon asked Hoseok, who was still levitating in the air.

Hoseok's green eyes were wide behind his goggles. He slowly shook his head. "I— I don't think it is!"

"Jin!," Emily sprinted towards the glowing ice dome and slammed her fists on it. "Jin, can you hear me?!"

"Emily, stop! Your knuckles are—"

"Jin!," Emily ignored Namjoon's call and continued to punch the ice. Yoongi noticed that her knuckles were bleeding. "We have to get him out of there!"

"W-What about Sky?!," Jimin paused and threw a thunderbolt. "What if she isn't healed yet?!"

Namjoon stepped on the ground, which cracked under his feet. A wall of rock rose and deflected the incoming bullets. "We have to check on them somehow!"

"I'll do it."

Everyone turned towards Yoongi, who stepped forward with flames scorching over his palms and eyes burning a bright orange. Holly snapped its jaws from above the fire gem bearer.

The blue flames around Yoongi crackled loudly. "Cover me."

Yoongi took a deep breath and pressed his palms on the ice, the cold making him wince slightly. Then the skin of his hands glowed a bright orange and smoke started to rise from his palms. Holly screeched again, both in worry and encouragement.

The steam rose to Yoongi's face and blocked his vision for a few seconds. He could hear the strong gusts of wind and bouncing bullets behind him. Someone screamed and then there was an explosion that shook the area.

"Yoongi?!," Emily hissed loudly before she rolled on the ground and released more arrows.

"Almost!," Yoongi replied through gritted teeth. As if on cue, the ice melted completely.

Yoongi groaned in pain when his jaw collided with the floor. After regaining his composure, the fire gem bearer opened his eyes. The sight before him made him gasp loudly.

You were still laying on the ground unconscious, the blood stains on your clothes now gone. Jin was on his knees, blue eyes dull and breath staggering.

It took a while for Yoongi to peel his eyes away from you. When he finally did, he scooted towards Jin. The fire gem bearer winced at the continuous gunshots that echoed from outside.

"Jin," Yoongi carefully avoided your figure and shook Jin's shoulder. "Hey, you okay?"

Jin gave Yoongi a dazed look, blue eyes still dull and blank. The fire gem bearer opened his mouth to speak but was cut off when his older friend spoke instead.

"I did it," Jin took deep breaths as the color returned to his face.

Yoongi's mind buffered for a few seconds. "What?"

"She's back," Jin put on a smile and wobbled when he attempted to scoot towards Yoongi. "I brought Sky back."

Yoongi's eyes widened. He slowly turned towards you and was relieved when he saw you breathing slowly. It all just hit him like a brick and suddenly, he was in tears.

"Thank God," Yoongi gently grabbed your hand and squeezed it tight. "Seokjin, thank you so much."

Jin just waved, his head still wobbling from side to side. Yoongi squinted his eyes. "Eh, no problem Yoongichi."

That nickname again. Yoongi remembered the day he got drunk with the rest of the Single Men Club members. However, his nostalgic mood was instantly shattered when the ice dome around them started to melt.

Yoongi turned towards Jin, who was now collapsed on the ground next to you. Dread filled the fire gem bearer's system as the strong wind started to blow his hair.

"Huh?!," Hoseok screamed from above. Blades of wind spun around his wrists. "Why are the three of you out in the—"

Hoseok paused when a hover-bike literally rammed into him. Yoongi watched in horror as both the Helian rider and air gem bearer crashed through the glass windows of a nearby building.

"Yoongi!," Hearing Namjoon's voice, Yoongi turned around and barely caught sight of a wall of rock rising. "We have to get them into a building?!"

"After Hoseok crashed into one of them?!," Yoongi screamed through the loud gunfire. An explosion made the ground shake.

"Do you have any other suggestions?!," Namjoon growled loudly and bared his pointed teeth, eyes flashing reptilian yellow for a split-second. He sighed when Yoongi flinched. "I'm sorry. We have no options right now."

Yoongi glanced down at your unconscious figure and put on a small smile. Holly perched on his shoulders and tilted its head.

"Alright," Yoongi carefully hooked his arm under your legs, another across your waist, before picking you up. "Get Seokjin."

Namjoon nodded and nudged Jin, who nodded weakly. The earth gem bearer carried the blonde on his back before glancing around.

"Over there," Namjoon cocked his head.

Yoongi followed Namjoon's gaze and spotted a two story clothing store. Its signage was destroyed, half of the letters erased to read —ister Co. instead. Other than that, the place did not look as ruined as the others.

Nodding, Yoongi turned towards Jimin and Emily. "Cover us!"

Both gave quick nods. Jimin's lightning sword appeared in his hand once again. He pointed it upwards and jolted the hover-bikes near Yoongi.

Yoongi made a run for it and was surprised at how easy it was to do while carrying you. Namjoon tailed behind with both of Jin's arms slung over his chest. An arrow flew above them and struck a Helian rider's forehead.

The hover-bike spun in the air and crashed to the ground nearby, which almost made Yoongi lose his balance. "We're almost there!"

Yoongi could see the door to the store, in fact it was just a few feet away. Before both him and Namjoon could get closer, however, more hover-bikes suddenly appeared and floated in front of the building.

Turning around, Yoongi hissed when he realized that the four of them were now surrounded by hover bikes. Wondering why Emily and Jimin's attacks had ceased, the fire gem bearer looked around.

Yoongi could still hear Jimin's crackling electricity but his figure itself was nowhere to be seen. Emily was snatching leftover arrows from the ground.

Namjoon gritted his teeth. "There are too many of them."

Yoongi glanced down at your unconscious figure and stared at your face for a few seconds. Long ago, he made a promise. He was going to protect you, no matter what the consequences were.

So as the hover-bikes all pointed their guns at Yoongi, he returned a fiery glare. His grip you tightened as blue flames burned over his shoulders. Prepared for the worst, he took a deep breath.

Yoongi paused when he saw a small circular object fly across the air. It bounced off a Helian rider's head and landed inside one of the hover-bikes. Not even a split second passed before there was an explosion.

Namjoon instinctively raised a wall of rock before the force could hit them. Yoongi knelt down as the floor shook violently. Another explosion came from behind them.

"Ha! What a great shot from me."

Hearing the familiar voice, Yoongi's eyes widened as he turned around. A figure of a woman much shorter than the fire gem bearer stood within the dust of the debris.

Yoongi's eyes widened when the dust faded to reveal Suran. Her brown hair was tied in a messy bun, jacket slung lazily over her shoulders. In her hands was a giant gun with a big circular tube as its mouth.

"Hey Yo— I mean, King Yoongi," Suran playfully winked with her bright orange eyes. She then cocked her gun loudly. "Like my new toy? I designed it myself! I call it—"

Both Yoongi and Namjoon just stared as Suran did an elaborate show. She spun the gun around in her hands and posed, accidentally pressing the trigger in the process. A bomb exploded in the air above them.

"Whoops," Suran put on a sheepish grin. She cocked her gun again. "As I was saying, I call it— Suran's one of a kind Bomb Gun!"

"You know, sis, the humans have a much better version of your toy," Kihyun skid across the ground with his rollerblades and halted next to Suran. "And a better name for it too."

Suran huffed and placed her bomb gun on top of her shoulder. "Oh yeah? Like what?"

Kihyun shrugged. "Grenade Launcher."

"Ha! That isn't—," Suran paused as her expression turned blank. "Wait, that is a pretty cool name."

"Uhm."

Yoongi felt Namjoon's gaze shift towards his face. After a few seconds of silence, the fire gem bearer clamped his mouth shut. Suran and Kihyun gave him skeptical looks as well.

"What—," Yoongi's throat closed for a split second. "How are you guys here?"

Suran was about to open her mouth when gunfire suddenly shot at them. She slammed her palm to her wristband. A light blue pentagon shaped forcefield appeared and deflected the bullets.

At the same time, there was another familiar scream from high above. "Women, arrows up!"

This time, it was Namjoon who froze. Yoongi grunted and turned towards the earth gem bearer, who was staring high up with his jaw slightly dropped. Then the fire gem bearer followed his gaze and he was met with equal shock.

Atop the roof of a mid rise building across Yoongi was a tall woman with long and flowing purple hair. There was a familiar fur coat wrapped around shoulders, fluttering as the strong wind blew it.

Mathilde raised her giant bow and pulled out an arrow from her quiver. She pulled back its string and took a deep breath.

"Now!"

The Aardeian women screamed a battle cry before they released. A storm of arrows flew across the air and punctured through several Heliam riders. Hover-bikes crashed into the area and exploded.

Emily stared with wide eyes, her bow and arrow laying abandoned near her feet. A light tap from next to the protector made her turn around.

Mathilde swung an arm and extended a hand, her fur coat fluttering slightly. "Are you alright, my daughter?"

Emily stared at Mathilde's piercing brown eyes before she smiled and grabbed it. "I'm fine."

"Namjoon!," Yoongi screamed at the still frozen Namjoon. "We have to go!"

Although still slightly dazed, Namjoon nodded and tailed Yoongi as the duo finally got into the building. The earth gem bearer slammed through the glass door, which instantly shattered under his weight. Thankfully, Jin wasn't harmed by the glass shards.

Yoongi carefully set you down on the floor. Noticing how stiff you were, the fire gem bearer immediately stripped off his jacket. He rolled it into a pillow and placed it under your head.

"Why isn't she awake yet?," Yoongi whispered to himself and brushed a few strands of silver hair away from your face. Holly hummed sadly on his shoulders.

"I don't know, Yoongi, I really don't," Namjoon grabbed a shirt from the ground and thumped it slightly before pushing it under Jin's head.

Surprisingly, Jin had enough strength to raise his own head and turn towards Yoongi. "Yoongichi, Sky... was different. Her soul fought back and... her strength was something else. Give her time to recover."

Yoongi had no idea what that meant but it made him feel even more nervous than he already did. He gently ran a fingertip down your face and released a loud sigh. Holly hummed and rubbed its snout on the fire gem bearer's face.

A loud explosion came from outside, one so strong that the whole building shook. Yoongi watched in horror as dust fell from the roof, some clothing falling to the ground to produce loud metal clanging noises.

"I'm going go fight," Jin announced and suddenly sprung to his feet. He immediately collapsed to his knees.

"Jin, wait!," Namjoon caught Jin before he could crash onto to the dirty concrete ground. "You haven't recovered yet. Lie down and—"

"Rest while my home planet is being destroyed by the Helian army? Not a chance," Jin grunted again, his whole body trembling as he grabbed his knees and stood up. "Besides, they're going to need a healer out there."

Namjoon stared at the determined Jin before turning towards Yoongi with a soft expression. "I'm heading out too."

"I know," Yoongi nodded. Holly tilted its head with a low groan. "They're going to need you."

"We're going to need you too."

Yoongi stared at Jin, who was giving him a worried expression. Then the fire gem bearer looked down at your sleeping figure and smiled. "Cloud needs me more."

Namjoon and Jin exchanged equally worried glances for a few seconds. Then the water gem bearer turned around with a tight smile. "Be careful."

With that, the two bearers ran out the building and into the battlefield. Jin slid out of view with a wave if water, his golden trident glinting as it flew into his hands. Namjoon jumped high up and the ground cracked against his feet.

Yoongi made himself comfortable. He scooted closer to a pile of abandoned clothes behind him and leaned on it slightly. His head rubbed against what fell like the curved edge of a wooden hanger. Holly plopped itself on the clothes.

Eyes still fixated at your face, Yoongi twirled some strands of your silver hair around his fingers and sighed. "Please wake up soon, Cloud. You're making us all worry."

As expected, Yoongi received no reply. The fire gem bearer clicked his tongue and tilted his head in slight frustration. Holly released a groan, one that sounded more of worry than anything else.

"Yoongi," Holly paused and lightly scraped its claws on Yoongi's hair. "Cold?"

Cold. To Yoongi, that was a strange thing to ask, especially from Holly. Still, he thought about it. The fire gem bearer feeling cold almost sounded hilarious but maybe he did feel it. Maybe the sight of your current state did bring him cold.

Those thoughts lingered in Yoongi's mind, even after Helian assassins crashed through the windows. Teeth gritted, the fire gem bearer extended both of his arms.

Yoongi spun as pillars of flames shot out of his palms. After creating a circle of fire, he knelt down next to you again. "Cloud, I'm really going need to wake up right about— Ugh!"

A Helian assassin pounced at Yoongi and pushed him away from you. The fire gem bearer choked when the tip of a blade was pressed against his neck.

"Let— go of me, bastard!," Yoongi angrily grabbed the Helian's neck, his teeth growing into sharp fangs. "You're blocking my line of sight."

The Helian's neck as Yoongi's hand turned a bright orange. He tossed the fainted Helian to the side and paused when he noticed the numerous assassins that were trying to reach for your body through the flames.

Hearing Holly's wings flap from next to him, Yoongi's eyes darkened. "Holly... get them."

Holly cheered loudly and camouflaged into the air. There was a gust of wind then blood spluttered from one of the Helians' necks.

Yoongi sprinted forward as his balled fists were coated with flames. Even his mouth had hot fire burning from behind his clenched teeth. Swinging his fist forward, the fire gem bearer punched a Helian in the gut.

Hearing something break in the air, Yoongi turned around and caught the sword before it could hit him. The blade melted in his hand, his blood mixing with the molten.

Yoongi grabbed the sword's melted off edge and used it to stab the Helian. Hearing footsteps from behind, the fire gem bearer ducked. Another Helian crashed to the ground in an attempt to pounce at him.

"You fuckers," Yoongi's jaw clenched as he sat on the Helian and continuously punched his face with a flaming fist. "Just— leave us— alone!"

Yoongi stopped when he was sure that the Helian was dead. Then he heard Holly's loud cry and turned around to see some assassins dragging you away.

"Hey!," Yoongi screamed, his eyes glowing a powerful orange. Fireballs formed over his palms. "Let go of—"

Yoongi's breath hitched in his throat when he felt a sharp pain in his gut. Looking down, the fire gem bearer was horrified to see a sword's blade right through again. Holly released a broke cry.

Blood spluttered out of Yoongi's mouth as he collapsed to the ground. He could feel the Helian step over him and press a foot on his head. Despite that, all he saw were the assassins dragging you away.

"Sky," Yoongi winced at the heavy foot on his head. "Wake up... please..."

The Helian raised his sword high in the air. Yoongi kept his gaze on you, the metallic taste of his own blood filling his own mouth. Ignoring the pain, the fire gem bearer released a loud scream.

"Wake up!"

At that moment, you opened your eyes. A bright light of purple exploded from within the building.

-

Outside, Jimin was struggling to fight off the Helian army. Unable to run due to his wounded leg, the thunder gem bearer stayed in one place and continued to shoot out bolts of lightning from his fingertips.

A bright light that exploded from a nearby building nearly made Jimin lose his balance. Turning towards the store, the thunder gem bearer was left confused.

Jimin stood at the center of the street, his electricity catching all the Helians' attention. "God, why won't they run out!"

With gritted teeth, Jimin slashed his lightning sword upwards. A crescent shaped surge of electricity pierce through the air and sliced through multiple hover-bikes.

"Ha!," Jimin twirled the sword and placed it over his shoulder. He smirked. "Bet none of you saw that co—"

Jimin yelped when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his arm. He stared at the blood trickling down the bullet wound in his shoulder before loud gunfire showered him from above.

Bullets shot into the ground in a straight line, some missing Jimin and some grazing through his skin. Jaw clenched in pain, the thunder gem bearer could do nothing but scoot.

Jimin threw himself on a car, his ass throbbing when he landed on his back. He then rolled over the hood and landed behind it. The thunder gem bearer winced at the loud gunfire from just the other side of the vehicle.

When Jimin checked his leg, he realized how badly in shape it was. Now there were bullet wounds present, one through his calf and the other above his knee. Fresh blood seeped into the cloth of pants and dripped down to his ankles.

Jimin gritted his teeth. He balled his hands into fists as his eyes glowed a powerful yellow. Before he could even think of doing anything, however, there was a loud blast of electricity that definitely wasn't his doing.

Confused, Jimin peaked from behind the car. A figure in white stood in the middle of the streets, arms bent over her head and toes tipped on the ground. It was a dancing woman with fiery orange hair, her figure coated in electricity.

When the woman raised a leg high in the air and a spark of electricity from her body struck a hover-bike, Jimin suddenly recognized who she was.

"Kaeva?!," Jimin screamed from behind the car. He pulled himself to his feet and winced at the throbbing pain of his leg.

Kaeva paused and turned towards Jimin, her ponytailed orange hair fluttering as she did so. Striking another dance pose and electrocuting more Helians, she smiled and waved.

"Your Highness," Kaeva twirled towards Jimin and left a charred trail on the ground. She bowed formally. "It seems that you are in need of assistance."

Jimin chuckled and wobbled from behind the car. He grunted and dragged his injured leg until he was standing in front of the hood. "How are you even here?"

Kaeva's smile faded when she eyed Jimin's bleeding leg. Sighing, she slung the thunder gem bearer's arm over her shoulders. "Not important. Have you told Namjoon yet?"

Jimin's cheeks flared a bright pink. He chuckled slowly and bit into his bottom lip. "Yeah, about that."

Kaeva scrunched her eyebrows together. She pointed her foot forward and a Helian was struck with electricity. "What? What happened? I swear to Macht, if you haven't—"

"We're together now," Jimin smirked, his glowing yellow eyes turning into crinkles.

A silence passed as Kaeva paused and stared at Jimin's face with wide eyes. For a while, the thunder gem bearer felt nausea stir at the pit of his stomach. Then a big smile instantly spread across the Blikseian dancer's face.

"Oh my Macht!," Kaeva squealed and swung her free hand around wildly. She bounced in place, her white skirt fluttering. "Yes! Yes! I am so glad to hear that!"

Jimin laughed dryly as Kaeva continued to squeal next to him. With a sheepish grin, he slowly whispered out his next words. "Yeah... and we nearly died too..."

Kaeva's screams died down as she turned towards Jimin with an expression of pure disbelief written all over her face. Before she can question him to elaborate, there were loud revving of engines from above.

More hover-bikes levitated above the two and aimed their guns at them. Jimin heard loud crackling and turned towards Kaeva, whose body was surging with electricity even though she was standing still.

Neither Jimin or Kaeva got to attack because a stream of colorful paint slammed into the Helians instead. Tracing the source through his eyes, the thunder gem bearer spotted a familiar pair of siblings. Both wore large backpacks that had long tubes attached to it.

"Taeyong and I will keep them busy!," Momo pressed a button. More paint shot out from her backpack's tube. "Go!"

Jimin nodded in gratitude as Kaeva started to move forward whilst dragging him with her. Any hover-bikes who even tried to get close to them were attacked by powerful pillars of paint.

Soon, two more figures came to view. Jimin recognized the tall purple haired man in front. "Joonie!"

"Chim!," Namjoon's voice echoed as he ran closer, his dimpled smile finally coming to view.

Jimin didn't realize that Kaeva had slipped from his grip and only did when Namjoon engulfed him in a tight hug. The thunder gem bearer giggled a bit when he was spun around gently.

"You're safe, oh thank God," Namjoon planted kisses all over Jimin's face, who continued to giggle at the touch. "Thank goodness, I was so worried."

"I can take care of myself, Joonie," Jimin smiled and leaned in to give Namjoon a big fat kiss. Instead, he winced when pain jolted up his injured leg.

"Lay him down," Jin snake a hand on Namjoon's shoulder and squeezed it. "I'll take care of him."

Namjoon nodded a bit hesitantly. He carefully sprawled Jimin on the ground, head resting on the earth gem bearer's chest. Jin knelt down in front of the thunder gem bearer and carefully straightened his injured leg.

Jimin bit hard into his lower lip when Jin started healing his leg. Namjoon rubbed his arm slowly whilst whispering words of comfort in his ears.

"Hey, uh," Namjoon paused when Jimin twitched in pain. He rubbed circles on his arms with his thumbs. "Sorry about that."

Kaeva blinked, only realizing that Namjoon was speaking to her after a few seconds. She was seated next to Jimin, both her knees bent on the ground. There was a bit of dirt stained on the cloth of her white skirt.

"What is there to apologize for?," Kaeva tilted her head in confusion, Vredeian accent strong and thick. "There is nothing to be ashamed of."

Namjoon smiled at that, his deep dimples appearing once again. At first, Jimin thought the scenario of the one he once and currently loved meeting each other again for the first time would bring nothing but disaster. Instead, it was the opposite. Both of them looked happy.

"We've never had proper introductions, have we?," Namjoon carefully extended a hand, the other still gripping Jimin's arm. "My name is Kim Namjoon, earth gem bearer."

"And Jimin's boyfriend," Kaeva chuckled at how both Namjoon and Jimin's faces flushed. She grabbed the earth gem bearer's hand. "Kaeva Silverling, Bliksem's temporary queen."

Both Namjoon and Kaeva. Jimin would have too, if Jin pulling the bullets out of his leg didn't hurt so damn much.

"I'm sorry, Jimin, I've got one more to pull out," Jin apologized, his eyes glowing a bright blue. Jimin groaned in reply. "Almost... got it out—"

Jimin released a breath he didn't know he was holding when the bullet was finally pulled out. Namjoon dug his chin into the crown of the thunder gem bearer's head. Jin coated the leg with glowing water.

"You've gotten better at it," Kaeva commented in a low whisper that Jimin could barely hear. "Healing, I mean."

"Thanks," Jin shrugged just as he finished up Jimin's leg. "Practice makes perfect, I guess."

Jimin wobbled to his feet with Namjoon's assistance. His leg was healed but stepping on the ground still made pain jolt up his thigh like electricity.

"How's Sky?," Jimin asked, a bit out of breath.

"Out cold, Yoongi's with her," Namjoon answered regrettably. He swung Jimin's arm over his shoulders. "But alive, all thanks to Jin."

"Thank goodness," Jimin breathed out. "And what about Jungkook, Taehyung and Shay?"

Namjoon opened his mouth to reply but was cut off by the loud shattering of glass from above. Jimin looked and saw a winged figure slam another across a building's wall of glass. Shards rained from above.

Raising his hand, Namjoon created a dome of rock that shielded everyone from the glass. The figure who had been slammed onto the building was now tossed to the ground.

Jimin watched in horror as the winged figure crashed just a few feet away from them. A large crater was produced in the ground as a wave of dust hit them.

"What the—," Namjoon was cut off by a second figure who crashed into a car behind them.

Jimin was close enough to see who it was. Shay was laying on top of the car, hood dented and windshield shattered. Drops of blood were dotted at the corners of her mouth.

"Shay?," Jimin turned towards the crater and the creature moving within it. "Then that means—"

A third winged creature crashed into the same crater but landed on his feet. The force was so strong that the windows of nearby buildings shattered. More shard of glass fell to the ground.

It took a few seconds of staring for Jimin to realize that he was staring at a mutated version of King Michael. His skin was blotched purple color, nails long and sharp. Rows of pointed flashed as he smirked. Curled dark horns were on his head, as well as large demon wings that spanned even wider than Taehyung's.

King Michael picked something from within the crater and raised it. After a while, Jimin realized it was a very injured Taehyung, whose left wing was bent in an awkward angle. Blood trickled down the darkness gem bearer's chin. One of his horns was cracked and missing its tip.

"You fools really think you can beat me?," King Michael cackled loudly as Taehyung flailed in his grip. "What nonsense!"

"Let go of him!," Shay screamed as she crawled off the car's hood and fell to the ground with a thud. "Brother!"

"Look at you, whining for your brother like the weakling you are!," King Michael cackled and tightened his grip on Taehyung, who continued to claw at his father's hand. "You have not changed, Shay. You still cry so much."

"We need to distract him," Namjoon whispered through gritted teeth. "Give Taehyung an opening for him to escape."

"I'm on it," A wave of water surged underneath Jin's feet. He raised the golden trident in his hand as it glinted. "Cover me."

With that, Jin surfed across the streets and towards King Michael. Eyes glowing a powerful blue, the water gem bearer pointed his trident forward. Taehyung took deep breaths and eyed his nearing figure.

King Michael simply raised an eyebrow and flicked his wrist. Jin suddenly flung backwards and was tossed across the air like a rag.

Jimin stared in shock. Namjoon screamed loudly. "Seokjin!"

Jin fell a few feet behind the couple and bounced on the ground. Groaning, the water gem bearer rubbed his throbbing arms.

"You lot must learn of the consequences of going against me," King Michael raised Taehyung like some kind of prize, his hand moving to grab the prince's head. "Watch and learn!"

Jimin watched in horror as King Michael's huge hand started to glow. Taehyung screamed loudly as his veins turned a dark purple, the color seeping into the king's hand.

"He's absorbing his power," Kaeva spoke suddenly. Jimin turned towards her in disbelief. "He did the same to Bliksem's former king."

"No!," Shay released a broken cry and shot out a purple laser beam from the tip of her staff. "Don't touch him!"

King Michael simply used a forcefield to deflect the beam, which nearly stabbed through Shay if she didn't dodge it. She jumped out of the way as the beam made the car she had landed on explode.

"Joonie," Jimin spoke with burning yellow eyes. "I'm going in."

"Jimin, wait!"

Ignoring Namjoon's call, Jimin swallowed through the pain of his throbbing leg and sped towards King Michael. He rubbed his hands together and formed his lightning sword once more.

Jimin let out a battlecry and was about to swing his sword when Taehyung was suddenly dangled in front of him. The thunder gem bearer immediately skid into a stop.

Almost a split second later, Jimin was struck in the face. He collapsed to the ground on his back as hot blood spluttered from his nose.

"You are so predictable," King Michael laughed as his wings spread. He raised his clawed hand. "You all are!"

King Michael swung his hand down and Jimin braced himself for an attack. When nothing happened, the thunder gem bearer looked up and was stunned.

Namjoon had somehow gotten in the way and was now grabbing King Michael's hand. He pushed with all his might, the heels of his shoes digging into the soil.

"Interesting," King Michael shrugged. Taehyung continued to tremble in his grip. "So the earth gem really does give its bearer an incredible amount of strength."

King Michael pushed his hand forward. Purple mist exploded in front of Namjoon, making him collapse on top of Jimin. "Sorry, Chim."

"Let go of the Crowned Prince, you bastard!"

Blinking, Jimin looked up to see a short dark haired girl jumping high into the air. Her shoes made a springing noise as she shot from the ground and spun. After hitting King Michael with a flying kick, she bounced and landed on a wall.

"Ha, did you like that?!," Yeojin pulled her frog mask off her face. She was casually standing sideways on a wall. "My bouncy boots were made just for this!"

"Yeojin!," Choerry screamed as she jumped from a roof, her mechanical bat wings spreading behind her. "We told you to wait up!"

Choerry flew across the air and raised both of her arms. Her arm bands glowed as ripples of sound-waves blasted King Michael. The Helian King flinched, his grip on Taehyung loosening.

"New plan, girls!," Olivia announced into her ear pierce and literally skated into view. Jimin watched as her roller blades scraped across the ground. "All out attack!"

Jimin watched in awe as the LOONA girls came from seemingly every direction possible. Some of them came from within buildings, others hidden behind debris or cars.

Olivia continued to skate and drew out her artificial claws. Bending her knees, she slid underneath King Michael's legs and slashed his ankle. This caused him to finally release Taehyung.

Taehyung crumpled to ground and released heavy and dry coughs. Jimin was about to sprint towards him when he was stopped by Namjoon, who grabbed his arm before he could move.

"Joonie, we have to help—"

"I know, Chim," Namjoon picked up Jimin and slung him over his shoulder before running. "But I don't think Shay would want us to get in her way."

Jimin turned towards Shay to find her place replaced by a cloud of purple mist. He then faced Taehyung and discovered that the princess was kneeling next to him.

"Brother, hold on—"

Before Shay could grab Taehyung, a beam of purple laser blasted her and pushed her away. King Michael reached out to grab the prince but was stopped by pairs of crackling rope that wrapped around his arms.

"Do not let him touch Taehyung!," Yves screamed and pulled onto the rope, her figure being dragged slightly under King Michael's weight.

Chuu nodded and pulled on the rope as well. "Crowned Prince, please get up!"

Jimin could see how hard Taehyung was trying. The darkness gem bearer's knees scraped the ground as he desperately tried to stand. Despite that, he kept collapsing. His wings disappeared into purple mist.

King Michael gritted his teeth and swung his arm forward. Chuu and Yves were flung across the air and nearly crashed into both Namjoon and Jimin. Hel's King then stopped into the ground, the ripple of force knocking both Yeojin and Choerry off balance.

Grabbing Taehyung by the throat again, King Michael slammed him to the ground, the concrete underneath him cracking. Shay screamed her brother's name.

"You all are such pests!," King Michael's eyes were wide and crazy. "Swarming around me like a bunch of flies! You really think working together can beat me?! Not even the whole universe combined can—"

King Michael stopped when he heard a sarcastic laugh. Looking down, he saw Taehyung cackling within his grip, dark blood dripping down from both corners of his mouth.

"Is he," Namjoon inhaled sharply. "Laughing?"

Jimin nodded hesitantly.

"You— will never win—"

Jimin was surprised when Taehyung started to speak. His face was a deathly pale, veins still glowing unnaturally purple. Despite that, the prince had on a small smile.

"Kill us all as you wish— Rule the universe as you please—," Taehyung chuckled. Jimin noticed that his pupils were dilated. "Then how will it all end? With you on top?"

Taehyung laughed dryly. He clawed at King Michael's hand but the action looked more playful. The prince licked his lips teasingly.

"Do you really think this chaos will end with you as the ruler?," Taehyung's pointed teeth glistened as he spoke. "They'll despise you. Everyone will see you as a monster."

"Silence!," King Michael's voice boomed, his eyes twitching slightly. "I do not intend on ruling this pathetic planet! Once I get rid of you and the wonders, I will destroy Earth from its burning core!"

Taehyung went silent for a few seconds. Then the corners of his mouth curled to form a smirk. "I know."

King Michael squinted his eyes. "Then your claims have no weight to them."

"Hm, I don't know," Taehyung shrugged and gave King Michael a playful wink. "Maybe I was just distracting you."

Before King Michael could react, a light purple beam knocked him backwards. Jimin heard the flapping of wings behind him. Expecting to see Jungkook, he was stunned when he turned around.

You were in the air, huge black feathered Seraphim wings flapping behind you. In one of your arms was Yoongi's unconscious figure, his blood dripping down his legs. Holly was tailing from behind.

With a gentle tap of your feet, you landed in front of the group. You carefully sprawled Yoongi's body in front of a very stunned Jin.

"Heal him," You said simply and jumped in the air, purple mist exploding around your feet.

Jin stared with wide eyes as Jimin and Namjoon put on the same stunned expression.

"What the fuck just happened."

-

Your feet skid across the ground as you landed next to Taehyung. King Michael was laying a few feet ahead, figure still smoking due to the beam.

"Took you long enough," Taehyung grunted as he stood up and cracked his neck. He glanced at you with dilated pupils. "Huh, you are pretty cute up close. No wonder the prince likes you so much."

You stared at Taehyung for a few seconds. He just kept giving you that smirk. "Taehyung, what the hell are you—"

Pausing, you took a good look at Taehyung's face. His dilated pupils were pitch black, teeth pointed and grazing his bottom lip. Dark horns were resting within the nest of his dark hair. It was disturbingly familiar.

You gritted your teeth and pulled out your katana. Swinging the blade forward, you gritted your teeth. "We are not doing this again."

"Whoa, relax guardian," Taehyung raised both of his arms and released a low chuckle. "Before you slice my ear off, I only took over the prince's body because he was unconscious."

You squinted your eyes. "And how am I supposed to trust anything you say?"

"You people and your trust issues," Taehyung murmured and rolled his eyes. "You really think I'd just let King Michael beat the prince while unconscious? This is my body too. That's just disrespectful."

You were about to reply when there was a loud thumping from up ahead. King Michael was trying to get up from the ground, his wings twitching and claws scraping the soil.

"You know, sweet cheeks, I'm sorry for nearly killing you before," Taehyung cracked his knuckles. You winced slightly at the mischievous grin he had on. "And I know you don't trust me. But I'm sure you want to stab this guy as much as I do."

You released a loud sigh and folded your wings behind you. "Fine. But know that if you do anything suspicious—"

"You'll hurt ? In this body?," Taehyung chuckled and raised both of his hands, purple mist fluttering above his palms. "Nah, don't think so, sweet cheeks. Just trust me."

Purple mist exploded behind Taehyung's back to reveal a brand new pair of dark wings. He raised his palm as its skin glowed a bright purple.

"I won't touch you."

A large purple beam shot out of Taehyung's palm. King Michael formed a forcefield around him in the nick of time. Sparks erupted as the beam clashed with the dome.

When King Michael started to step forward, you blasted out a light purple beam from your palm as well. The force of it pushed Hel's king back by a few inches but he still kept moving forward.

"Why won't this guy just die?," Taehyung mumbled under his breath and raised another hand, a similar purple beam shooting out of his other palm.

Shrugging, you did the same with your other hand. King Michael still kept moving forward. "Eh, plot armor I guess."

Before Taehyung could question your words, a cloud of purple mist appeared from your other side. It faded to reveal Shay, who was pointing her staff forward. Soon, a purple beam similar to Taehyung's shot out of it.

You looked up when you saw a winged figure fly behind King Michael. Recognizing the white wings, you put on a smile. "Jungkook!"

"Don't leave me out of this party!," Jungkook grinned as his eyes glowed light blue. His rubbed his hands together. "Sky, you've got some nice wings, yeah?"

A white sphere formed in between Jungkook's hands. Soon, a beam of light shot at King Michael, whose forcefield trembled under the magic of four people.

"Are we ganging up on him?!," Hoseok spun next to Jungkook and shot out pillars of wind from his arms. "Nice!"

You turned to the side when you felt heat lick your cheeks. Yoongi was standing next to you, blue flames burning all over his body. Holly released a loud battlecry atop his shoulders.

"Before you ask," Yoongi took a deep breath. There was a hole in his shirt and jacket. "I'm fine."

Yoongi exhaled and you were stunned to see him breathe out a powerful pillar of blue flames. Holly did the same and roared as it spat our red fire.

Jin surfed in between Yoongi and Shay, stopping when he was right under Jungkook and Hoseok. Spinning the trident in his hand, the water gem bearer pointed it forward.

A mixture of water and ice spiraled in the air and slammed into King Michael's back. You were honestly impressed by how he was still standing despite the combined attacks hitting him all at once.

The rock of the concrete ground started to snake up King Michael and hold him into place. You couldn't see from your position but you were positive that this was Namjoon's doing.

Emily jumped into her position next to Jin and shot out multiple arrows. Some of them landed next to King Michael and crackled with electricity whilst others exploded over him.

"You ready?," Jimin glanced at Kaeva, who was already going into a pose. She nodded. "Now!"

Jimin pointed his sword upwards just at Kaeva struck a dance pose at the same time. The sky turned dark as thunder rumbled above. Lightning then struck King Michael, who finally released a scream of pain.

You wondered how long King Michael could take the combined attacks of the team. It made you think if he'd end up like that ogre not so long ago, disintegrated into dust.

Instead, King Michael hissed loudly. "Enough!"

A sudden explosion from around King Michael deflected all the attacks. You, Yoongi and Taehyung lunged towards the ground as the deflected beams passed over your heads. Shay teleported out of the way.

Jungkook formed a white forcefield around himself, Jin, Emily and Hoseok. Namjoon was able to raise a wall of rock in front of him, Jimin and Kaeva.

"I will not be made a fool by you pathetic wonders!," King Michael's jaw trembled as he spoke. "I am the King of Hel, destined to rule over Vrede and bring destruction to Earth!"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "What a load of bullsh—"

"And I will not let anything, not even my own children, stop me from fulfilling my destiny!," King Michael raised a hand and suddenly slashed his own wrist.

You watched in horror as he swiped his blood from his wrist with his fingers. He then started to swiftly write some weird letters in the air. His movements were so quick that you could actually see the letters.

"What is he doing?," Yoongi asked slowly as Holly trembled slightly on his shoulders.

"Welp, he really has gone mad," Taehyung sat on the floor casually, one knee bent and the other straightened. He was staring at his nails. "He's using the most severe forbidden spell there is."

"What spell exactly?," Shay asked, her eyes widened in both shock and horror.

"Eh, just one of those," Taehyung glanced at Shay, eyes still dilated as he smirked. "Exchanging his soul for more power."

Before you could comment on how casual Taehyung (his gem) was being despite the situation, Shay released a broken scream. "Father, sto—"

It was too late. The moment King Michael finished the lettering and suddenly a pillar of blood spun around his feet and shot upwards. Strong wind blew as the sky darkened even more.

When the blood faded, it revealed a monster. What took King Michael's place was a giant winged creature with sickly purple skin. It stood on two bent legs and was almost as tall as Lotte World Tower.

The creature had hooves as feet and a long scaly tail. Its eyes were yellow and reptilian, snout long and filled with rows of pointed teeth. Raising its clawed hands, the monster roared loudly as the whole city seemingly shook.

You had no idea what to think. Was King Michael really hiding this much power from the beginning? Before you could think anymore, Taehyung grabbed his knees and stood up.

"Guess this is it," Taehyung calmly walked forward as everyone stared at him. "King Michael has reached the lowest of lows."

Taehyung's fingers wriggled as his palms glowed. Swinging his hands downwards, twin swords appeared in his hands, the blades stabbing into the ground.

Smirking, Taehyung licked his lips and spread his wings. "Now, let's finish this once and for all."
