Knights,mages,archers,beasts,catapults,fire,armour,swords,cavalry soldiers,maritime soldiers with ships,dragons from Cenise,weapons from Pendragon warehouses,everything had been prepared to take down the hell Queen Nabi.

Since they declared the war first,they must attack first.

The war must take place far away from the capital where people were residing for their safety. Thus they have to lead Nabi's army away from the capital. A flat land with few hills would be the best place for this war. A cramp place would not be sufficient since the size of the both sides of the army would be much larger and massive in number. Thus,the winter is the place.

The winter camp area where the knights train as teenagers.

The both parties agreed to this place without much fuse. The sea was not far away from this place. Thus,the maritime soldiers and mages would come in handy.

On the other hand,Nabi's hell army was waiting for them with her commanders. Hell dragons,beasts,devils,Logan's knight order,Gaara's mages,cavalry,etc everything was ready.

The battlefield was a flat land surrounded by forests and mountains with an ocean not so far away. A closed battlefield if anyone gives this a name. But who could say,would it remain a closed battle?

Seokjin,Hoseok,and Namjoon were horse back riders while Jimin was assisting the front line soldiers who are straight away heading for their demise. Taehyung was with mages. And Jungkook,the infamous dragon slayer was on top of a cenise dragon today. Only he could single handedly slay a dragon all by himself in this whole kingdom. And Yoongi,the beast owner of the kingdom,was obviously leading the beasts as he sat on top of a wolf beast. A wolf beast was ten times massive than a normal wolf and this man could easily tame it.

Luca and Noah were also riding horses along with Seokjin,Hoseok,and Namjoon.

Lyana and Helios were also riding dragons along with Jungkook. And Cloude the spirit King,was with just on his foot beside archers. He only had a fan to fan himself as he yawned.

Lastly,Ashen,he has to be the one to lead the army. On top of his horse,he pulled out his bow and placed an on it. Taehyung helped him to lit the arrow tip before going back to mages.

The arrow was released.

The war officially began.

A burning hell was it.

Jimin was the first to attack. His one sword glare was enough to take down enemy's whole front line. Eyes snapping bright red,he let himself go berserk. Kill. That was his mantra. Crimson blood rain down on him as he slashed the enemy like the Pendragon he is. The blood lust was so bad that some enemies who looked into his eyes knelt infront of him unintentionally. He never had mercy for enemies even if they begged.

"What a ferocious aura",Cloude who was leisurely strolling around like a tourist,commented seeing Jimin. "A soul binding blood lust huh? I cannot get closer to him unless I want to kneel infront of that bastard. Geez,I hate Pendragons. Let's see....",he fanned himself as he looked around. "Where is that rat who disturbed my spirits?"

His eyes became hooded when he sensed that someone was trying to kill him. Raising his fingers,he activated his power. Rose veiny thorns started rising up from the ground wrapping them around the enemy. All the thorns dug deep into the flesh killing him on the spot.

Sighing,he decided to be a little help to the war. After all,he promised to help. Instantly,the ground started shaking as rose veins started creeping out from the ground trapping the enemies around him.

Cloude paused and looked back to see Jimin staring at him with a blank face.

Cloude rolled his eyes knowing this bastard was judging him from the bottom of his heart. "What? Never seen anyone who likes roses?"

Jimin,"I like roses"

"Fucking liar"

Jimin shrugged his shoulders,"I like to lie"

Cloude felt a vein popping out of his forehead. "Anyone who does not like roses deserve to die! Go and die!"

Jimin snickered playfully before scampering away. He seemed ridiculous with all the blood and that playful smile.

Meanwhile Jungkook was riding the dragon with so much passion. Just recently he got to learn more about dragons. And one thing he learnt was special. If hell dragons were born with wrath and fury,then Cenise dragons were born with kindness and love. Even the colour said it all. Hell dragons were all black while Cenise were white.  When he hopped on this white dragon,he felt a special love from this lovely creature. The love this dragon gave him reminded him of his sister. The person he is supposed to kill. His hand softly caressed the dragon's head making the dragon nudge him gently from its head playfully.

Jungkook chuckled,"Girl,you are adorable. Just like her",and his smile faltered,"Don't worry,I will not let anything happen to you. You can go back home safely to your family"

Jungkook looked down to see Namjoon and Seokjin leading the Pendragon knights. In the sky,Lyana and Helios were battling along with him. He wondered where his sister is. And he is grateful that he still could not see her.

He did not have time to think now,not when a hell dragon was heading towards his way. And on top of it was Gaara. Helios and Lyana joined him.

Gaara was a god thus gods must be taken down by another god. That is why Helios and Lyana were here.

"I will take down this man",Helios declared.

"Then I will take down the dragon",Jungkook took his role.

"I will defend you two",Lyana said as she took out her bow to her hands.

Helios,"Be careful with catapults!"

Lyana nodded before heading off.

Jungkook and Helios looked at each other before nodding their heads in silent agreement.

Jungkook and Helios sped forward towards Gaara but Gaara's dragon breathed fire attacking them both. Cenise dragons dodged the attack immediately but did not stop.

Gaara started flying upwards towards the darkened clouds making Jungkook and Helios follow him. Below them was Lyana destroying catapult attacks with her mana fused arrows. She was standing ontop of her dragon as she used her arrows to defend up above where the fight of the sky takes place.

Jungkook grinned with wide lips as he sped up. The frenzy madness was taking him over,he was the strongest Pendragon.

Hoseok looked up to see the sky when a loud thunder was heard. In the midst of the clouds,he could see the shadows of dragons flying around. And fire. He knew that he did not have to worry about his little brother thus he averted his gaze away from the sky.

He was fighting with the winged devils when suddenly a devil toppled him over to the ground. He was careless. Just as he was about slash the devil,she screamed. "It's me! My lord! It's me!"

Hoseok paused,"Do I know you?"

"It's me! From back then! When you came to the hell!"

"Ah",Hoseok seemed to remember. The she devil from back then who tried to seduce him. "You!"

The she devil seemed to be happy when he remembered her. Without a warning,she kissed him taking him off guard. "I can't fight you my lord"

Hoseok was dumbfounded. Did his relationship with this she devil go as far to receive a lip kiss from her? When? He did not seem to remember?

"Uh? Why not?"

Her cheeks started burning red.

Both of them were still on the ground with her ontop of his groin. She mumbled something under her breath but he could not catch it.

"Pardon?"

"YOU ARE MY MATE!!!"

Since when?

Hoseok was flabbergasted.

Yoongi was beside them with an ajar jaw. "Holy shit"

Devils have fated mates? That was unheard of but it could be possible. They were devils after all. Maybe it was the case with Nabi and Orpheus? Was it really something like that?

Or is she referring to something like she wants Hoseok as her mate? Whatever the case,it was unexpected.

"Devils don't have romantic feelings but rarely,it could happen if they have a mate they desire",the she devil explained with a shy face.

"Why don't you two....uh....speak about this later?",Yoongi said awkwardly. "There is...a..war?"

"I will fight for you!",The she devil declared bravely.

Hoseok was still on the ground with wide eyes,".....alright"

Meanwhile,Jaykar just arrived at the battleground. He fixed his mask as he observed his surrounding. Death bodies were everywhere. Every step he took,he had to step on someone's blood.

He was not here to battle. He was here to fulfil his duty ordered by Nabi.

"How are you so sure that Luca would come for you instead of battling?"

Was his question to Nabi when he was given his duty.

Nabi's answer terrified him.

"Do you know the word 'soul mate' ?"

"Of course I know"

"Soul mates are souls who travel with you from life to life. They could come from many forms. It could be lovers,parents,siblings,pets,or...even as friends. Soul mates are bound to find each other no matter where they are. They naturally prioritise each other's lives and sacrifices themselves life after life.......can you guess who is my soul mate?"

That time Jaykar's eyes were full blown as he realised who her soul mate was. Sacrificing themselves life after life? Who did it? Who died for her for nine times?

"Luca",he whispered.

Nabi,"No matter where I hid,he found me. That's why he died for me nine times"

Nabi looked dead straight into his eyes and said,"Break the soul mate bond between us and take him away. That is.....your duty. Only you can do it. You are the man with the power related to souls. You have to do it"

"But it would not do any difference your highness. He is your best friend. He would always sacrifice —"

"That's why you must take him away!only you can distract him"

Just as Nabi said,Luca was heading towards where Nabi is. It was as if he was a moth attracted to fire. Trying to burn himself.

Jaykar raised his palm and a swarm of golden butterflies flew towards Luca who was heading out of the battle grounds. The swarm surrounded the silver haired man entirely before kidnapping him.

Jaykar's eyes started glowing in golden colour. He could see a pink thread tied into his pinky finger. The threads of fates could come in different colours. Red means romantic love,white means parental love,yellow means siblings love,and pink means platonic love between friends.

Pink,a pure feeling for his best friend.

His heart ached knowing he is going to destroy a soul bonding between these two best friends. But Luca would not stop if he did not do this. He would die again.

Jaykar brought Luca towards the deep into the forest where no battle was taking place. Inside the butterfly swarm,Luca was unconscious. He was levitating inside the swarm.

Gritting his teeth,muttering 'sorry' after 'sorry',he snapped the bonding between Nabi and Luca.

The unconscious Luca felt it. Though he did not open his eyes,the scowl of pain in his face said it all.

It was over. The bond that resulted in his death,it was over. Maybe he would not see Nabi ever again after this life of his. The tragedy of their friendship,it was beautiful,warm and homey.

Luca will never be able to watch the stars again with Nabi and Ruby. Not even in his next life would he be able to laugh with them. The life was cruel to him. His friends loved him. That is why they had to let go of him.

But in his unconscious mind,he saw a dream. He was watching the stars. Nabi and Ruby were there with him. He cursed out loud for whatever dumb shit Nabi said. Ruby was scamming Luca off effortlessly even in that dream.

The stars were bright. After all the chaos,they fell asleep on the rooftop.

He loved it. He hated it.

The dream felt too real for him. Because the pain he felt was real. Something snapped inside him. A part of him vanished. He no longer saw the dream. It was pitch black.
