What does it feel like to live in an endless nightmare? You'd desperately want to wake up only to realise you are living in the reality. How awful is life. Yet some people would never regret the choices they made up until now. And they'd be willing to make much more awful choices in order to reach their one true ending. The world pushed them to their limits thus they had no choice. Maybe they really had choices but the results wouldn't be the same.

Infront of Eva,a gate of hell opened. An eye of fire,a gate to the other world,Nabi walked out. Her black robes flattered as she walked out,her half mask hid her face. The hair had grown even longer than her knees,tied in a half ponytail. The familiar red eyes of curse were dead. No emotion could be seen in them. The light that used to be in her eyes had faded into a grim darkness.

The gate closed behind her.

Nine immediately bowed with his head on the ground,"Master! I deserve death,I couldn't kill her"

Nabi raised her two fingers dismissing him,"It's fine. You may leave. Take Kazuki with you"

Nine reluctantly stood up and left to find Nakamura. From now on,the battle wouldn't be meant for weaklings. This is a battle between two Gods. Darkness versus Light.

All this time,Nabi never left Eva's eye contact. She could see the boiling rage in Eva's eyes. Nabi's lips curved up a bit. "Does it hurt?",Nabi asked.

Eva's jaw clenched as she shoot daggers from her eyes.

Nabi,"It hurts right? Don't worry. He is not dead"

"What",Eva blinked twice,confused.

Nabi looked at her side making Eva look at what she was staring. Noah had already reached them,huffing and panting heavily,drenched in water.

"Brother!!",Eva was in disbelief as she stared at his brother who she thought as dead.

Noah coughed as he looked at her. It seemed like he had run with his life on the line. He widened his eyes seeing her white hair and the aura. Relief washed over him,he made a run towards her but Nabi was quick enough to hold him back with her power. She raised him up a  bit and levitated him on the air. Nabi made a choking gesture while Noah started gasping for air like someone was choking him up.

Eva was confused. She looked at Nabi who was already staring back at her. "What are you doing?"

Nabi,"..."

Noah started wriggling in pain as blood rushed to his face.

Eva was still in disbelief as she stared at Nabi who was torturing her brother,"Stop it",she whispered with wide eyes.

Yet,Nabi didn't even budge and continued torture him.

"I SAID STOP IT!!",Eva screamed and ball of light circulated around her hands and wrists.

Nabi kept her calm.

Soon,Noah started feeling like thousands of needles were poking him from inside his body. He coughed up blood in pain.

Eva couldn't watch anymore as she shot out a beam of light towards Nabi. A spiritual light beam,if one were to get hit from them,they would instantly get scorched to death. Specially devils.

Nabi dodged the attack calmly.

Nabi,"Get serious. Or he might die"

Eva,"Are you really looking for a fight?!"

Nabi,"Wouldn't have come here if that's not the case"

Eva,"You know I don't want to kill you!!"

Nabi,"But I do"

Noah's blood curling scream of pain got both Eva's and Nabi's attention. While Eva was in an unbearable turmoil,Nabi was satisfied. She smiled tilting her head as she intensified the pain. The devilish look in her eyes brought thousands of chills to Eva's body. Nabi is clearly and definitely out there for blood.

An image of Jungkook came to Nabi's mind.

"Come at me like you want to kill me,and I will let him go",Nabi said.

Eva closed her eyes and swallowed the lump in her throat as she asked,"What does this war mean Hazel? Will you ever answer me?"

Nabi,"....You asked the wrong person"

Eva,"...alright Nabi"

Eva opened her eyes as she started levitating up with light circulating around her palms. Her eyes held sorrow and sadness. "I will kill you right here and now,and will end this devastation"

Nabi let Noah go.

Her eyes started glowing in red as her hands were filled with red energy beams.

And the battle between the light and darkness started.

They battled in the sky. To the people down,it looked like sliver and red lines running through the sky like lightning. They couldn't see who was who since the speed maxed out a normal human being.

Nabi coughed out a mouthful of blood as she put a transparent shield infront of her preventing the light beams hitting her. The curse was acting up,destroying her inner organs.

"You are already dying,you know it too",Eva spoke as she paused with the attacks.

Nabi smiled,"Don't worry,I will not die today"

Nabi used her speed to teleport herself right infront of Eva and switched from using powers to hand to hand combat. Thus,they were fighting against each other just like how they used to fight when they were brats but with more power.

"Is it because of that devil?! Are you betraying your own family and kingdom for that devil King?!"

Nabi chuckled like she just heard a joke. "Oh you got it all wrong"

Eva,"Then why?!Just tell me why?!! Why go this far? You want the throne? But why murder all those people?!"

Nabi had a somber look with a slight smile,"You don't understand"

Eva,"Tell me"

Nabi grabbed Eva by her collar and pulled her closer,"Tell you what! Telling you would do nothing Eva! You,the God's favourite!Would never understand!"

Eva shook her head,"Hazel please,killing and torturing your own people would never bring you anywhere!"

Nabi,"Yeah? You have so much pity for the people in the kingdom right? Alright,let me ask you something,what are Pendragon people? Do you see them as humans?"

Eva,"What,of course I see them —"

"Bullshit!!",Nabi seethed. "No one! Not a single soul sees them as humans!! This is why you would never understand",Nabi calmed down after taking a long breath. She still held Eva close to her,"You know Eva,I told you once that we could never be friends. With time,the meaning behind my words changed. Today,I say the same but with a different meaning to it. You,the God's child,the cause of my darkness,will never be my friend"

Eva stared at Nabi's crimson orbs in disbelief,"What do you mean?"

Nabi snickered,"For nine life times,I couldn't bring myself to kill you. And because of that,I saw my loved ones die infront of my own eyes. In nine different ways,you caused their deaths. They were shamed infront of the world. They were tortured to death. They were shred to pieces. And I,me alone,had to collect their pieces. Some had no pieces to collect. These hands of mine,held the corpses of my family more than once. You hurt them. You all hurt them. You all killed them. Why? Why were they killed? Why were they cursed to die like that? Why Eva? WHY?!!TELL ME WHY?!!"

Tears rolled down from her crimson eyes as she grinned,"So,why should I care for those peasants' lives? If they can torture my family to death,why can't I?I'd rather kill you all before you get my loved ones"

Eva was tongue tied. She didn't understand a thing she said. Yet,she could see the rage and hatred in Nabi's eyes.

Nabi,"Eva,do you remember the time you and me first met? I saved your life that time. I put my life on the line to save you and Leo",She had stopped grinning. Her face changed into a blank one. "You still owe me one"

Nabi let go of Eva's collar and backed away.

Nabi,"....think of this as paying me back and die"

Eva's heart sank. She could neither move nor speak. She was overwhelmed suddenly. She watched as Nabi raised her hands slightly creating a circle of fire balls.

"This time,I will save them no matter what. And for that,you need to die"

Eva didn't move. The fire was reaching her but she didn't have strength to defend herself remembering that she indeed owe Nabi. What should she do? If she died,what would happen to all those people? They'd suffer from Nabi's hands. She is a saintess now. It was her responsibility to protect them.

When the fire was about to touch her skin,she immediately defended herself.
She looked up with a firm gaze,"I'm sorry Hazel. If that is how you want me to repay you,then I can't repay it. I need to protect my people"

Nabi smirked ,"Oh how rude". The sky started changing. Dark clouds gathered around them like a storm. A red aura covered Nabi's whole body and her eyes glowed even more.

"Then I have no choice but to make you pay for that"
