The pair of green eyes and the pair of silver eyes stared at the wide and massive gates of heaven. Behind them was an army of devils,all ready to charge in with a signal from their king.

The two half brothers,Dylan and Gaara were at the foot of this glamorous gate of heaven with clouds of mist surrounding them.

"We are home,daddy!",Gaara chimed in a psychotic excitement.

Dylan grinned widely,"Wouldn't you open the gates for your sons?"

Nabi was in her small garden in the hell castle,playing chess with Logan. She moved the Bishop to another square and waited till Logan make a move.

"My lady,do you think everything would go smoothly today?",Logan asked.

Nabi kept her elbow on the arm of the chair with her chin on her palm fist. Her red eyes observed the chess board as if she is debating how to win the game.

"Don't know. Lucian will be kept busy for a while until Nakamura and Nine deal with Eva"

Logan also made his move on the chess board. "You know,Eva adored you a lot"

Nabi kept quiet.

Logan,"Is it really necessary to kill her?"

Nabi knew why Logan was showing concern over Eva. After all,Eva was his best friend's sister.

Nabi,"Logan,I didn't ask you if it was necessary for you to kill your parents,did I?"

Logan felt his body shudder under Nabi's glare. He immediately bowed,"My mistake. Please forgive me"

That's right. Logan had no right to question her decisions.

Nabi stood up from her chair,"Rest assured,I won't let Naoh die if that is what concerns you"

She turned around to leave.

Noah was riding a horse with Eva infront of him. She was covered in a long black cloak with a hood covering her head as she rode the horse with her brother. Few knights were accompanying them from behind for their protection.

They were on their way to the holy spirit cave as per Lucian's order. To defeat the evil,a hero must rise within the kingdom. That is the only way to stop the war.

"Watch out!!", a knight screamed as a warning.

Noah immediately pulled out his sword blocking another sword attack. In a blink of an eye,a white cloak blinded their vision and they halted in the mid way.

Noah and Eva looked ahead to see a man in white cloak with a mask on. The man pulled down his hood revealing his black and white hair. It didn't take two seconds for them to realise who he was.

"Nakamura Kazuki",Noah growled.

Eva had a pained expression as she stared at the assassin who came to kill her. Her once comrade,friend and someone she looked upto.

"Greetings",Nakamura greeted nonchalantly. "I'm here to kill Eva Bulbrook"

Noah snickered,"Tell me something I don't know"

Nakamura was calm as he stared at the siblings. He could see how betrayed they feel at the moment. "My apologies,don't take it personal. I have no grudge against you"

Eva also pulled down her hood,"Then why?"

Nakamura,"I'm just following the orders"

Eva,"Don't you think this is wrong?"

Nakamura fell into a painful silence. He lowered his sword a bit and stared at Eva in silence.

Eva couldn't figure out what he was thinking because of the mask. What kind of face was he making right now?

Nakamura tightened his grip around his sword. "Eva,you are a good person. You care about other people's feelings. But....there are people like us who can't do the same. It would have been nice if we could continue to be comrades but our priorities are different"

He sincerely didn't want to kill Eva. But the world is cruel.

Eva felt her eyes stinging. Where did everything go wrong? Why does she have to fight against her own friend like this? But this is how life goes on.

Suddenly,a lot of men in cloaks appeared from their hiding spots. Some had arrows,some had swords while some were mages under Ezra.

Noah,"Surrender,you will not survive even if you are strong"

Nakamura didn't reply as he backed away slightly warily. "Sorry,I got a job to do",with that charged forward aiming for Eva's neck.

Hundreds of arrows were released with one aim.

Yet,Nakamura didn't budge as he launched himself forward.

A winged devil landed behind Nakamura as he spread wide his huge massive wings preventing the arrows from hitting Nakamura. The arrows had no effect on those metal like wings of the devil. Nine pulled out his sword before facing the knights.

Nakamura's blade slightly graced Eva's neck but Noah was fast enough to reattack clashing the blades with each other.

The mages pulled a transparent shield around the siblings before attacking Nakamura with fire. But the double coloured hair man was able dodge their attack as he jumped back immediately. The mages didn't stop as they continued to attack him with fire.

Suddenly,Nakamura felt the ground shaking. The mages in the kingdom had 4 types of mages. Fire mages,Earth mages,water mages and air mages. The respective mages specialised their own types to fight in wars. But there are exceptions like Taehyung and Ezra who specialised every types. Only a mage who specialised all the elements could be the tower master.

The ground cracked under Nakamura's feet making him realise that they even had brought earth mages to keep Eva safe. It would be safe to assume that all types of mages are assigned for this certain mission. Of course it should be expected. The birth of the Saint should be protected at all cost.

Just as Nakamura was about to fall into a hole,Nine grabbed him and flew upwards before releasing him towards Noah and Eva.

Noah rode the horse to take Eva away from the battle but Nakamura was still chasing them. He landed right infront of them but a large water bubble fell into him from above trapping him inside the water bubble. Water mages. And then fire started surrounding the water bubble.

It seemed like they were going to boil him alive.

Nine gritted his teeth as he was busy with the rest of the knights.

"It's over Nakamura",Noah said. "Please,just die",he whispered as he stroked Eva's hair to give her comfort.

The water mages suddenly felt uneasy as they tried to contain Nakamura inside the bubble.

Suddenly,a silver light emitted from the bubble as it shook violently.

"He –He is growing powerful inside!!", a mage screamed.

Noah widened his eyes realising something. Nakamura is a holy knight. The sword of a holy knight is a divine weapon. How ironic,the man worked for the devil while keeping a sword of divinity.

Noah,"We are leaving"

With that,he rode the horse. The wind kept hitting Naoh's face as he kept urging the horse to run faster. Eva looked back only to see the water bubble bursting into tiny water particles as Nakamura hit the ground perfectly.

Nakamura looked up from his wet eye lashes as he panted heavily. He ran his hand through his multi coloured haired combing it backwards. "This is taking forever"

Nakamura snickered as he eyed all the mages. "Apologies",he charged forward as he started slaying the mages as he avoided all their attacks.

Nine had already finished with the knights as he flew upwards. Flapping his wings,he made his way towards Eva and Noah. Speeding up,he managed to catch up to Noah and grabbed Noah by his shoulders before picking him up in the air.

Noah already had his sword in his hands when he was picked up in the mid air. In a blink of an eye,Noah stabbed Nine on his stomach.

The devil hissed in pain but didn't let go of Noah.

"Brother!!",Eva screamed as she watched his brother being hoisted up in the air. She stopped the horse wanting to help her brother.

"GO!!",Noah screamed. "DON'T STOP! GO!"

Eva gritted her teeth as she watched her brother struggle against the devil. Eve couldn't leave her brother. She refused to leave. Grabbing her own bow and arrow,she aimed at Nine.

"LET HIM GO!",Eva yelled in desperation as she released the arrow.

Nine immediately avoided the arrow saving his own life. He thought for a second before flying somewhere else with Noah.

Nine,"Human,you are lucky. If not for my master's order to keep you alive,I'd have killed you already"

Noah stopped struggling hearing Nine's words. Why would Nabi want him alive?

"What?"

Nine looked down at Noah but said nothing more before releasing his hold on Noah.

Noah widened his eyes as he fell in the mid air. When he looked down,he saw a lake down below.

Nine watched as Noah fell into the lake. "It would take you time to reach your sister. When you come back,I don't think you'll be able to see her alive anymore"

With that,he flew back as Noah kept drowning inside the lake.

When Nine was heading back,he saw Eva riding the horse towards where he took Noah. Eva looked upto see him as she stopped the horse. When she saw that his brother was no longer in the devil's grasp,she widened her eyes in horror. A sense of dread filled her body.

Nine landed right infront of Eva.

Eva still kept her wide horror stricken gaze on the devil and asked,"Where is he?"

Nine,"Killed him"

Eva slowly got off the horse and stood still,"....you're lying"

Nine,"...."

Eva's body was shaking in anguish as she walked forward aimlessly. She gripped her hair tightly realising she just lost her only family. A pain shot upon her heart as she trembled violently with wide eyes of anguish. Tears of fury rolled down from her eyes as she knelt on the ground.

Her chest heaved up and down as she held her head like an insane woman and let out a blood curling scream bringing chills to Nine.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH",the scream of pain filled the entire sky.

The sky turned grey as clouds started swirling right above Eva. The forest turned dark with the dark clouds.

Nine gasped with wide eyes and raised his blade and made a run towards the girl on the ground. He didn't know what was happening but he had this weird sensation in his gut telling him that he needs to behead her right then and there.

Everything happened in a slow motion. Before Nine's blade reach Eva's neck,a thunder hit right where Eva was resulting Nine to be sent backwards with the pressure.

All the trees around Eva burnt into a crisp clearing the forest.

Nine protected himself with his wings as he landed on the ground at a feet of a tree. The bright light remained for a while and no one could approach this light.

All the animals ran away from the forest leaving only the humans.

"What the hell is happening",he mumbled as he tried to keep his eyes open.

When the light slowly fades away,Eva stood in the middle of the burnt trees with a golden aura around her. Her black hair was no more, they were all white like clouds.

The feeling Eva gave was different. She emitted this aura of a god which brings everyone to their knees. This presence is different. What happened? They didn't even reach the holy spirit cave so how?

The birth of a hero.

The Saint had been born to save the humanity.
