"The Whitelock family and Harris family were cold bloodedly murdered within a night. Two major houses were taken down which resulted in weakening the military powers of the kingdom"

"Harris family was a major military power bank but who would lead their knights if the house masters were murdered? Can we take them under imperial family knight order?"

"Possible. That's the natural way of dealing it. But why couldn't we steal Pendragon knight order since their masters are nowhere to be found?"

"Are you stupid? Everyone knows why it's impossible. Pendragon knight order's loyalty only lies with Pendragons. They will not bend their heads even if king himself appeared infront of them. Besides,I heard they would instantly die if they were to betray the Pendragons. They cannot carelessly work for anyone else without  a direct order from a Pendragon"

The nobles were all discussing the matters in the throne room as Leo sat in the throne while Eva stood beside him as his personal knight.

Leo turned to Eva,"How was the investigation regarding the murder of the two families?"

Eva,"Sir Ethan and Noah are still investigating it. They'll contact us soon after they found something"

Leo sighed and looked at the nobles who were still in their depressed conversation. "Everyone,silence!"

The room fell into a pindrop silent.

Leo,"For now,focus on the civilians. Look after those who were affected by the war and lead the capital civilians into underground city for the time being"

One noble man with a brown hair spoke,"Your majesty,may I speak?"

Leo,"Speak"

"Your majesty,some villages are going through a drought. They demand food and water from the capital. But our hands are tied at this point"

A drought? All of a sudden?

Leo felt his head aching. "We cannot overlook this matter"

"We have to sacrifice some small villages for the sake of the majority",Another nobles spoke. "We absolutely cannot weaken our power"

Leo gritted his teeth hearing what he said. "Do you even hear what you say?! We are sending our support —"

"Your majesty! Please understand! We are at a war! People are dying here too! And we need to provide facilities for those who went to underground putting their trust in us! And we also need to provide for the military! Ever since Pendragons disappeared,a lot of businesses have gone down since they were the ones who were controlling them. Farmers cannot give out what they grew because there is no one to deal with them. Thus,until we take the matters to our hand and deal with them,we absolutely cannot look at the small villages"

Leo felt tongue tied. He felt terrible right now. He thought he would be a better ruler than his father but now he understood that there are things that are out of his control. What should he do?

Just as he was about to say something,the doors to the throne room burst opened revealing a group of priests of the imperial temple. They were in white robes with golden lines running in the robes. Hoods covered their heads and only revealed their lips under the hood.

Everyone widened their eyes not expecting their presence. Usually,temple stay silent for the most of the times and only appear infront of the public if they have something to warn or give an oracle. Do they have another oracle? Or a message from Lucian?

Leo stood up from his throne as the group of priests entered the room.

Everyone held their breaths as they stared at the priests. What could be the reason they are here for today? Seconds felt like years to them as they waited until someone spoke.

And ultimately,the main priest infront of the group,spoke.

"We are here under Lord Lucian's command"

A God's message.

"The war will not stop any time soon. Genocide,mass murder and blood shed will continue to happen under Nabi Pendragon's command. Right now,there is no person in this universe who could stop her. She had already exceeded the God power"

What? She exceeded what? How? Why? Just why? What is she planning to do?

"She has set her mind to destroy the kingdom no matter what. But in a very painful way",...."Thus,Lucian had decided to choose a person to represent himself. A God's representative with God's power to put an end to Nabi Pendragon's life"

"A God representative? A Saint will appear?!"

"A Saint is going to appear to save us!"

"God blessed us with a Saint!"

Murmurs took place but soon was silenced when the main priest raised his hand signalling them to keep quiet.

"He has already chosen his warrior",......"Eva Bulbrook,in about seven days,you may go to the holy spirit cave and bath in holy water. God Lucian will bless you with his powers,he has chosen you as his representative"

Nabi was sitting on the hell's throne room with crossed legs. Half of her face was covered in a black mask only revealing her other half of the face with one eye and half of her lips. Infront of her was the nine commanders of her army in other words her executive members.

They were in a single line facing Nabi.

"Nakamura Kazuki"

Nakamura raised his head.

"Nine"

Nine also raised his head.

"....kill Eva Bulbrook",Was her command.

She said it with no emotion. Her crimson eyes held nothing.

Nakamura,who was a long term colleague of Eva,stared at Nabi. Though he was not a very close friend of Eva,the woman had considered him as a friend. And he also knew that Eva admired Nabi so much. Eva had a pure affection for Nabi. And now Nabi had given an order to kill that person. Nakamura turned his heart into a stone and bowed,"Yes master"

Nine had no problem,"As you wish"

"Master",Gaara spoke as he took a step forward. "May I?"

Nabi nodded.

Gaara went near the throne and knelt down in one knee before taking her hand in his both hands and looked up at her like he was looking at his God. Which is really the case. In Gaara's eyes,Nabi was his one and only God.

Even though Jaykar was Nabi's favourite,if someone were to choose who is the most loyal to Nabi from her nine commanders,then it would be Gaara. Unlike others,he had no sad tragedic life. He simply seeks joy in his boring life.

Nabi found Gaara at first when he came to kill her. Gaara was so bored that he tried killing a Pendragon for fun. To Nabi's surprise,the man had the powers closed to a God. It was not enough to exceed Orpheus but he was a close one.

And he thought he could kill Nabi to create some chaos but got humbled by Nabi. Nabi got him to his knees with her powers. Since that day,Gaara saw her as his one and only God.

"You said I could have fun. But I'm still waiting master"

Nabi,"....right. I didn't forget. I have a job for you"

Gaara's eyes shone.

Nabi,"You will accompany Orpheus to intrude heaven. Don't you want to pay a visit to your father? This is your chance. Go and make a ruckus until Nakamura and Nine kill Eva"

Gaara widened his eyes in pure happiness. "Can I really do that?"

Nabi,"Sure"

Gaara chuckled as he kissed her hand. "My goddess,as you wish"

Gaara,one of Lucian's illegitimate sons. He was born to a human woman with Lucian's seed. In other word,he was a Orpheus'a half brother. But the two never acknowledged each other as brothers. When Orpheus was born to a devil woman,Gaara was born to a human woman.

When Gaara backed away,Beatrice spoke. "Master,I have something to report regarding your brothers"

Nabi,"Go on"

Beatrice,"They are on the move. Taehyung Pendragon had left my kingdom but he had erased all the traces about where he is heading. And I doubt he will be the only one to leave. It seems like they are slowly becoming restless"

Nabi thought for a while. They wouldn't be able to remain silent for a long time. Though they did not betray the kingdom and only disappeared after the civilians asked them to leave the kingdom,the curse will activate soon enough when the things in the kingdom go for the worst. They are the guardians after all. I have to buy them some time.
She thought.

"Let them do whatever they want. Don't interfere or interrupt",Nabi said.

Beatrice bowed and took a step back.

"And Julia",Nabi looked at her. "Take care of your family too. Alright?"

Julia bowed. "Of course"

Logan,"If you want help,ask away Julia. I got plenty of ideas about how to massacre your own family. I'm sure Jaykar could help with that too"

Julia smirked,"No need. I have my own ways"

Nabi sighed,"That's all for the day. And Lucy,come with me"

Lucy followed Nabi as she left the throne room. The castle walls were black or grey with dark curtains. Devil's with wings were in guard everywhere. The floor of the hallway to the throne room was covered in a red carpet. Fire illuminated everywhere creating a creepy feeling.

Both Lucy and Nabi took a turn and walked to another hallway. Nabi stopped infront of a door and opened it before entering. Lucy also entered it. Both of them appeared in an apple garden with sun light directions coming from the sky. But it was all magic except for the apples. They were real.

"My lady",Lucy asked.

Nabi looked at her with a blank face."....You can retire now. You've done everything you could"

Lucy,"I want to see it to the end"

"No you don't. I will take care of everything. From now on,you can rest and live however you want for the rest of your life"

Lucy looked at her feet and fell into her thoughts. She did a lot of horrible things in the past years for the sake of her loved ones. Specially for Luca. She got into a marriage in order to prevent some destined events. She altered the fate under Nabi's command. She was never a wife to Ezra but the man never did any evil thing to her. Ezra was a cunning man but they were perfectly fine in their marriage. They never argued and minded their own businesses. She smiled. Her life is coming to an end soon. Who is she to pity others now?

"....alright"

After Lucy left,Nabi was alone in the apple garden. Well not alone,Nabi's twin sister,Hazel's soul came out. She looked at Nabi in disdain.

"Just what in the world are you planning? Do you think what you are doing ia right?",Hazel asked.

Nabi smiled,"Why do you care? You stayed silent all this time. So,just do as you always did and stay silent or you can leave"

"I can't watch it anymore. You have to stop. You are going too far. This was nor what I expected when I exchanged my soul with you",Hazel complained.

"Stop whining. Sister,both you and I know that we can never be saints. You tried to kill Eva when you were alive for your own selfish desires. And now I'm trying to destroy the kingdom for my own selfish desires"

Hazel snapped,"What I did cannot be compared to what you do now! I would have never thought of a mass murder like this! This is too much! You have no right to say I am the same as you!"

Nabi smirked,"I never said you are the same as me. Hazel,if I were you,I'd have made Leo mine by now. But you didn't have guts to do so"

Hazel's expression turned into a sad one. "Nabi,love makes you blind,true. But there is a limit. Leo would never love me. And after I died from his hands,I understood how painful it is to die by the hands of the person you love. I don't want to feel it"

Nabi had a soft look,"Is that so?"

Hazel pitied her sister. "Nabi,please stop this madness"

Nabi looked away and walked towards the door before looking back over her shoulder,"What comes next would be much horrifying than what you witnessed so far. Be prepared or you can leave. But I promise you,I will not harm Leo if that is what concerns you. I hope I payed my debt to you by doing so"

Hazel,"Wait!!"

Nabi paused.

Hazel,"Alright. Then do me another favor. I will leave you alone after that"

Nabi waited for her to continue.

"Let me talk to Leo for once. Just once is enough. I want to see him one last time"

Nabi,"When the time comes"
