I was born into a family that never accepted me. A family that tormented me for having something I shouldn't have. When it was meant for a woman,the power accidentally chose me. So,my family and relatives started seeing me as a freak. A woman with man's appearance,they said. Ever since I was little,they used the same insult making me question my identity. What am I? Who am I? A woman?A man? A freak?

I was different,I knew it. But was it a crime? I believed so. I thought I deserved the hate I was getting. I thought i deserved to be tortured just like they did. Because they said so. A weak human with identity crisis deserves hell. I endured every hateful stare thinking I was meant to be treated that way. I thought if I were to die,this curse of a power would disappear and everyone would love me but....I don't want to die. I want to live at the same time I hated living. I was suffering with these thoughts,

Until.....he came to me. Luca. The one and only bastard child of the kingdom. He treated me like garbage. At first,I thought he was the same like others. Treating me like shit,he was no different.

But that's where I was wrong. He treated me like garbage because that is who he is. He treats everyone like garbage. He sees everyone as shit. It wasn't only me. He saw me as a normal person. He never discriminated against me when it came to treating people the way he does to everyone.

I was a human in his eyes.

A human who deserves his normal treatment.

A shit human in his language.

It made me happy.

Luca,my beautiful light.

You hated me because I was weak but you hated every single being for any non existing reason you could find.

Am I that toxic to get obsessed with your shitty personality? I don't know. For the first time,I was happy to to see someone.

And then,another person came to my life. My lady Hazel Pendragon. The person who made me realise how beautiful I am. How beautiful I was to be born with such a gift of a power. The power was no curse. The power didn't choose me accidentally,it was meant for me. It chose me because I was strong. Strong enough to handle the enormous glory of the world. The identity crisis I was having,I didn't need to ponder anymore about who I was. I am Jaykar. A soul user. She saw through me. Lady Hazel,no she is lady Nabi. The person who showed me the goal I needed to focus on. The person who showed me the reason I need to grow strong.

My one and only goal,

Luca it is you. I want to protect you. I want to protect my sunshine. I want to give the whole world to you.

When lady Nabi asked me to join her,I joined her without any hesitation because I know she would never let you get hurt. Other than you,I see no worth in this world. I'm ready to burn this world and I promise to keep you safe from the flames.

I looked at all the around the rocky table. These people,we all are ready to give up our lives for our goals. And in order for that to happen,lady Nabi must live until the end. So,we will give our lives for her.

After the meeting,lady Nabi stood up to leave with Orpheus. I still have something to ask from her. If I can't ask this right now,there might not have a chance for me to ask this.

So I stood up and followed them until the rocky door of the underground cave.

"My lady!"

Lady Nabi and Orpheus stopped hearing my voice as they turned back to face me.

"Jay?",she called me."Something wrong?"

Her is blank. The glow she used to have faded away. She is in pain. I know it. I could sense her soul wailing every minute like a wounded animal. But this is what she chose. No one could stop her. Not even Orpheus dares to do it,that,I do understand.

"I just have a question",I said.

She gave me a small nod indicating that I could go ahead with the question.

"Why didn't you let me reveal myself as a traitor just like others? Do you want me to spy on the imperial court?"

She stared at me for a solid few seconds before smiling slightly. "I don't need a spy. Even with you being exposed,I know you could still do a great job at being a spy with your little souls"

"Then?"

".....Because I don't want him to lose anymore important person"

I widened my eyes as I heard her reasoning.

"He needs someone by his side right now. He is probably in despair with losing his only two best friends. He's lost everything Jay. His home,his sister,his best friends,....I don't want him to lose you too"

Luca. He was taken away by Beatrice along with other Pendragons. "Where is ....Ruby?"

Lady Nabi smiled sadly. She turned around and left with Orpheus without answering me.

Outside the cave was a forest in dark silence. The moon was shining up above the sky without knowing that the peace of a certain kingdom had been destroyed.

Orpheus silently opened a hell door and lead Nabi through it. And they appeared right inside the hell castle that belongs to Orpheus. They were inside a bedroom with dark walls. The interior was beautiful and royal like. A bed with a canopy,a table by its side,fluffy white carpet,everything was cozzy and comfortable.

Nabi stumbled forward as her strength has drained out of her body but Orpheus was quick to catch her on time. He lifted her up in bridal style and carried her to the bed.

Gently,he placed her on the bed and laid beside her. Raising his palm,he hovered his palm over her face but she caught his wrist.

"No",she whispered.

Orpheus shook his head,"No. Don't use your spiritual powers anymore to hide your face. It will only make you more exhausted"

"But I'm ugly"

Orpheus,"No you aren't. Not in my eyes my lady"

And suddenly,Nabi's face started changing with a mist covering her face. When the mist cleared away,it showed an ugly burnt scar on her right side of her face. Half of her face was burnt like coal.

Orpheus leaned forward and kissed her burnt skin. "I love you"

"Even when I am ugly?"

"Yes,even when you are ugly,even when you get old,even when you do evil things,yes,I love you. Because to me,you are the prettiest"

Nabi stared into the man who knows no limits when it comes to her. What had she ever done to him to make him love her this much?

Nabi,"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything for us"

He smiled sweetly,"You are doing enough. Just letting me stay with you is enough. That's all I ask for. You could even ask for my death,I am willing to offer everything to you my lady"

These days,Nabi always felt guilty when it came to this man. She loves him too,just like him,she was not ready to give up on him. But what has she done for him? He does everything and anything for her but her?

Orpheus,"Don't be like that now. You know I don't like it. Don't think too much. I'm willing to wait until you give me your attention. For now,do what you need to do"

Nabi slowly nodded with a broken smile. He was her only peace. Right now,being in his embrace is enough.

Meanwhile her brothers who were taken away by Beatrice,were kept in a separate palace hidden inside the deep forest. It was not only them,every Pendragon person with a knight tittle were housing there with Beatrice's orders,including Luca who had no Pendragon last name yet were there.

The devastation they felt were unexplainable. They were all silent for a whole long two weeks. None of them spoke. They just accepted being kidnapped by Beatrice's mages all of a sudden and no one said a word.

How could they have strength to mind what was happening when they have suddenly realised that the five year long war was initially started by their lovely little sister and was lead by her. A lot of people died. Why did that happen? What made her do that? Did they do anything wrong to her?

Taehyung had regained some lost memories,he had been dwelling on it for a long time yet said nothing to anyone. It was confusing.

He sighed as he started remembering more and more things he had forgotten. She had done so much to him. It wasn't one time. She had stopped him from seeing through her with his mage eyes. In order to do that,she needs greater mage skills. So that means,she is capable of doing magic. She must have hidden her strong mana aura using her skills but it was still unsettling how she did it. How did she gain such a power?

A knock on the door brought him back to reality.

"It's me Jimin. Brother Seokjin asked for everyone to attend downstairs"

So it is time. Time to comprehend everything. Time to speak their minds.

Taehyung and Jimin went downstairs to see their brothers,Luna,Luca and Karla(Luca's mother). Taehyung guessed the rest of the Pendragons were not invited to the meeting probably because they were not needed.

All of them were sitting on couches with a heavy atmosphere pressuring them. They all looked depressed.

"So...",Seokjin started. "Everyone calmed down?"

"Can we even call this calm?",Karla commented as she sighed sadly. Her husband had been injured because of the war since he is still resting. And his daughter was announced as a traitor.

"Let's focus on the matter now",Luna said as she stroked Karla's back to provide some comfort.

Taehyung decided to start the conversation with what he knows,"Hazel....uh....what she said is right. She is not Hazel. Ever since she came to our home,I felt some strange thing about her soul. It was different. But I couldn't put any words to it. There were some strange fragrances in her soul. And when she snapped,I finally saw her soul. She was a different person. Her soul didn't match the body. It was like she has taken over someone else's body"

Hoseok,"What does that mean?"

Taehyung,"It means she is not the real owner of that body. We might not even know who is the real owner of the body but all this time,it is this Nabi person who stayed with us as.....our sister"

It felt strange. Even to the people who heard him,it felt strange. He was talking as if she is a stranger and they all were not used to it.

Taehyung,"When I confronted father,he said to believe her. He told me that she is my sister no matter what",....."And I had been forgotten all of that because.....she had casted a spell on me to forget it"

Everyone widened their eyes. She knew magic. News to them.

Seokjin,"Within this two weeks,I did some research too. Luckily,Beatrice was considerate enough to bring our library books and important documents to this castle",....."I found something strange"

Yoongi,"What is it?"

Seokjin was silent for few seconds before speaking again,"Our uncle,father's twin brother,had a history we may not have expected"
