Roars of victory in the middle of that torrential rain were heard through out the kingdom as Ashen stood on the top of the castle tower with his sword stained with Nabi's blood.

A new era has begun.

A new beginning.

Meanwhile in a near by mountain,a kid was standing ontop of it with crossed arms. His one eye was covered with an eyepatch while the other was green in colour.

He was watching how every fucking human celebrated his mother's death as if they won a gold mine. He could not do anything because he is a freaking weak kid with no control over his power. He was a product of a devil and a Pendragon thus the genes were so strong in him that he could not tell whether he is a human or a devil. But he was extraordinary,he could say that much. He vividly remembered the moment he was born. His mother held him so dearly with so much love and uttered how much she loved him. That was the only warmth he felt ever in his life so far.

But because of these humans,because of Pendragons,he lost the only warmth he craved for. If only his mother chose him over these bastards,then he wouldn't suffer like this.

Loneliness.

It was painful.

But there was this side he inherited from his father,the madness. Since he can't have the warmth of his mother now,why should anyone have the right to be happy? The audacity to smile.

He grinned,"I will crush you one by one"

The one who does not have anything,has nothing to lose. Thus,this child was ready to face the world with head on. He would start with Pendragons.

The heros of the kingdom already had earned an enemy.

"Young master,someone is here"

The grin disappeared from Storm's face as he looked over his shoulder. Nine was behind with his head bowed and a palm over his chest. 

Storm turned around and walked past Nine while removing the eyepatch revealing his crimson eye.

Nine did not turned around to see what was happening. He knew by the sound of flesh being turned apart,the fate of the intruder was cruel. When he turned around,Storm was bathed in blood as his red eye glowed slightly.

Nine," young master,your mother does not wish for any harm towards Pendragons"

Storm's menacing glare landed on Nine. "Did I ask for your opinion?"

"....no. But please I beg you to reconsider. She died for them"

"Hahahaha!! Died for them? She died because of them. I lost her because of them. And even if she died for them,why must I give my consideration for them? Who are they? They are nothing! Disgusting humans!"

Storm is a storm. He will stop at nothing. Did his mother not see this coming? Did she not foresee this future of his son?

It's too late now.

Orpheus was at the river of death,waiting for her soul.

He expected what is yet to come. He fucking knew but.....when he really saw it,he could not bear it.

Her soul was no longer fucking intact! It had been burning for years and the only thing that came was a small fragments of her remaining soul. The rest had burnt to ashes.

Keeping these fragments on his palm,he fell on his knees as his hands kept shaking in anguish. His full devil form was reveal shaking all the creatures in fear. Horns and Wings,the devil King was way bigger and muscular than a normal devil.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!"

His roars of agony was heard by the whole hell.

"I will not let you go. Not now. Not ever!!! Do you hear me?!!! NABI PENDRAGON!!!",His chest heaved up and down as he gritted his teeth. "And I give you no permission to leave me like this. For eternity and beyond,you are mine"

He stood up holding the delicate soul fragments.

With his other hand,he drew a straight vertical line instantly sprouting fire cracks through the line.

"Your majesty!!",A devil who works for him called him as he saw what was happening. "You are going to interfer with the laws of universe again! This will not end well"

Orpheus smirked,"Do I look like I care?"

Even if the worlds came to crash one another,he would still sleep without a care.

The gate was already opened. He entered through the gate and let it close. After travelling through multiple parallel world frames,he found the last destination. It was the world Nabi previously lived. He had visited this place before secretly. Just for her incase everything crash down to today's result.

This place was called 'Seoul' in this world. Entering a hospital,he disguised himself as a doctor before going to the floor he had once visited. His heart was beating vigorously thinking so many possibilities. What if the soul fragments are not enough to bring her back to life? A destroyed soul cannot be reformed into a complete soul,that's the reason he had to find her original body. He could let the soul fragments grow in its original familiar body and then take her soul back to him so he could spend his eternity with her.

He stopped right infront of a door.

Her original body was not dead when he came to visit. It was only in a comatose state,attached to machines.

He felt like his heart was on his throat as he opened the door.

He stopped. Inside the room was not her. An unfamiliar figures was lying there. Then where is she?

He could not waste any more time. The soul fragments needed a body immediately in order to not burn itself to nothingness.

He entered a corridor and pulled a passing by doctor,"Where is the girl? The girl who was in the room 064!"

"You are....which department are you from? I cannot disclose —",Orpheus cut him off by grabbing him by his neck and flashed his glowing green eyes.

"How do you like to die? Falling from the highest floor? Or maybe getting your head smashed? I do have some creative ways to make it look interesting? Hm?"

"Sh –She was incinerated yesterday because she showed no sign of waking up! Also she did not have a guardian so the hospital decided to remove all the machines!"

Orpheus was losing his mind now. They dare incinerate her?!

The time was running out.

He literally had no more time to waste.

He needed a body. A body where her soul could grow. A best place to grow,even a soul,is none other than an infant's body.

He disappeared from the floor and appeared on another floor. Closing his eyes,he tried listening to the atmosphere. A cry,he needed one cry from a baby. He did not care about the unfortunate soul of the baby that's going to lose its soul for Nabi. He just didn't care. Only thing that mattered to him was Nabi.

Finally.

It came.

A cry. A series of cries.

A grin crept into his lips as he leaped into the air before appearing on the floor where newborns babies are kept.

Opening the door to the baby room,he found a room full of babies. He just needed. Looking around,he found a baby girl wrapped in a pink blanket. His hand instantly went it her body but another hand caught his wrist.

A presence so strong that Orpheus could feel the power.

A god.

Looking up,he was met with a pair of foxy orange eyes. The bastard god was dressed in a doctor's uniform just like him. Wine red hair,fair skin,golden aura,so godly.

Orpheus growled inhumanly.

The god did not seem to care.

"Come with me"

"Fuck off"

"If you do not want those fragments of souls in your hands to burn,then follow me"

Now he got Orpheus' attention.

"Hurry",the god left the room with his hands in his pockets.

Orpheus was hesitant but he decided to follow him. Orpheus followed him to a room where a woman was giving birth. Three doctors were helping her with nurses. The woman was screaming in labor pain.

"You see those reapers around her",the god pointed at some black figures surrounding the woman's bed. They were only visible to their eyes.

In Orpheus hell,he called them hell dogs or hunting wolves. Both referred to those who took away the death.

"The child is going to die. As soon as the child died,you can do what you need to do"

"....why are you helping me?"

"I'm not helping you. I'm helping the mother. She is someone I'm indebted to her"

"Make sense"

And that day,Nabi was reborn in that infant's body. Orpheus forgot everything around him. He watched as the baby was washed and placed on its mother's chest. And he kept watching until the baby was transfered to the baby room.

The baby was beautiful with black eyes.

Orpheus smiled gently as he let the babygirl coddle his hand.

"So pretty you are my love"

The god was watching him with curious eyes. It was obvious the emotion in the devil's eyes but how? A devil in love with a human?

"You and this human,you do not belong here,right?"

Orpheus,"....."

"I don't know what's happening but I'm also now responsible for you two since I involved my personal feelings. Therefore,I'm going to keep an eye on you two. As long as you two are not causing troubles to the equilibrium of this world,I have nothing against you two"

Orpheus looked at him,"You....you are really crazy. I am a devil you know. I am your enemy from nature"

The god shrugged his shoulders,"Not crazier than you who literally tried to kill an infant here. You must not have children,you trash"

"....I do have one"

"You are lying"

"...."

"Holy shit. Who is the mother?"

Orpheus looked at the baby infront of him who is still cuddling his hand.

The god sealed his lips. Something tragic must have happened. He knew where to draw the line so he did not question any further.

"By the way,I'm Yeonjun. I go by this name in this world"

"Orpheus"

"Choose a normal name"

"fuck you"

Yeonjun rolled his eyes,"How about I choose one for you? Sunghoon? Jaekyung? Sunjae?"

Orpheus rolled his eyes,"Whatever. I have to return to my world for now. Keep an eye on her as you promised. I'll be back soon"

"Am I your watch dog?"

"Aren't you?now get lost. I need my time with her"

Yeonjun grumbled few curse words at him before disappearing.

Orpheus looked at the baby who is still sleeping. "My lady,it's alright now. Everything is alright. If not,I'll make sure everything is going to be alright. No one will come in our way. But for now,I have to leave. It might take some time but I promise I will return as soon as possible. Till then,farewell my love"

The promise was sealed with a kiss to her forehead. He had to go. The sins Nabi did,someone has to pay for them in the hell. So,for her,he is going to punish himself for her. That is what it means to keep the equilibrium of the world. You are going to pay for everything you did.

Nabi suffered enough. She deserves much better in Orpheus' eyes. So,he will definitely make sure she receives what she deserves,no matter the cost.
