End of an era and beginning of another era has come a thin line separating the fates of the destruction and rebirth. When one Pendragon is destroying the whole world,another Pendragon is building the world from the ashes of death. A phoenix born from the death,return of the heros and the silver lining of hope were the oracles fell upon the prisoned priests of the kingdom.

Everyone knew.

They have arrived. The guardians of the kingdom,the gods they needed,hope of the three realms. Mouths did not utter words of flattery in fear yet people knew.

Something is about to shift.

The executive commanders of Nabi's army,Logan,Gaara,Jaykar,Zeva,the queen Beatrice,the king Nakamura,Nine....they all have gathered in the throne room of the castle awaiting for Nabi's return after 8 years.

Meanwhile Jungkook entered an underground castle which belonged to Pendragons. The entire castle was lit up with magic crystals beautifully. A knight was leading him towards the meeting room where his presence was requested. He had been wearing comfortable robes for 8 years and now wearing a noble outfit again made him feel uncomfortable yet homey. Sword had always been his best friend and the outfit was a part of his identity.

Upon entering the grand hall,his eyes caught the sight of the huge chandelier up above the ceiling. Right under it was a long table. Surrounding it was the main force of the battle field. Only the important figures who needed to know the real information about the battle. And again after 8 years,he saw his brothers all together sitting around the table. Along with them were some familiar and unfamiliar figures. He could only recognise Luca and Noah? Somehow he himself was surprised that he remembered this person so well. Damn had he grown into a mature man today. And he remembered that every time he met Noah,they used to bicker like some amateurs.

There were some unfamiliar figures he failed to recognise. A woman with Ash blonde hair and shiny orange eyes like two sets of suns have carved into her face. She had presence no one could ignore as she sat next to Ashen Pendragon. The hair was styled into a high pony tail with small braids hanging either side of her forehead.

Another man the same eye colour of the woman was next to her. His hair was the same as hers and you could easily say that they were siblings.

And a man with red long hair. Ears pierced with long earrings,moss green eyes,a beauty unparallel to this world.

"Uncle",Ashen called out.

Jungkook snapped out and looked at his nephew walking towards him. The kid has grown into a man today.

"Thank you for coming today. Please have a seat"

The only remaining seat was in between Taehyung and Noah. So he silently took a seat in between them.

"Still alive huh?",Jungkook mumbled as he leaned a bit closer to Noah.

"Sorry if I disappointed you by being alive",Noah sassed back.

Jungkook did not reply. He ignored Noah and looked at the rest of his brothers who were staring back at him. In the opposite side of the table were Jimin,Hoseok,and Yoongi along with Luca and the red haired stranger.

The rest were in Jungkook's side except for Ashen who was taking the main chair of the table.

"You were the last one I expected to join this battle",Jimin said with a hint of disbelief mixed with anger in his tone.

Jungkook looked away with a clenched fist on the table. Damn it,would he have done differently if he knew nothing about the nine life times? Yes. He would let this world burn to ashes if it means protecting Nabi but she left him no choice. The blood curdling pain he is feeling cannot be described. The suffocating feeling in his heart increased every single second like a bitch.

Ashen cleared his throat as he stood infront of his seat.

"First,let me introduce you all to my friends",Ashen started by introducing the people he brought. "This person beside me is the daughter of the heavenly Sun god from Cenise, Lyana. And next to her is Helios,the next heir to the Cenise throne"

This introduction made quite the uproar among the Pendragons. Cenise,it is another dimensional heaven which look upon their own worlds of humans. And it is said that they never interfere with other heaven matters if it does not involve them. It is a strick rule among the dimensions. The universe is a vast ocean of dimensional worlds,parallel worlds and time line worlds ect. So,to break a system rule,one must make a connection. How in the world Ashen did that?

The first one to mess with dimensional world was Nabi's biological mother who placed her daughter in another world,next was Orpheus who brought Nabi back. And then Nabi who regressed nine times leaving behind unfinished worlds to start a time line worlds of her own. She connected the past,present and future into a thin line. And the next person to mess with the universe is this brat from the Pendragons.

"The sun god promised to provide us support from military to weaponry. He sent his children as his representatives"

Hoseok raised his fingers signalling Ashen to stop,"Care to elaborate on the fact about how you managed to have the Cenise as a sponsor?"

Ashen,"That....I made a deal with Cenise"

Yoongi,"That is?"

Ashen looked at the princess Lyana and extended his hand to her and in return she accepted his hand before standing up,"Cenise princess would be placed on the position of the Queen beside the King"

Seokjin looked at his son strangely,"And the king would be?"

The former Crown prince was Leo but after 8 years,no one had heard of him. It is said that he still lives in the palace in the house arrest but no body has seen him after the previous war.

Ashen paused and waited few seconds before answering his father,"....I would take the throne"

A Pendragon to the throne.

Everyone looked stunned for a moment as they all looked at Ashen as if he had grown another head. The baffled looks Ashen received did nothing to faze him as he looked at his future queen. "You could say this is a marriage alliance if you prefer"

Seokjin was the most baffled here. His son had gone out of his way to form his own army. Ashen was not playing when he said he'd kill Nabi that time. He had already made an alliance with another heaven. Even as far as going as getting married. The brat did not even ask permission from his parents,alright.

Right now,Seokjin realised how serious the matter is. He has to choose between his own son and sister. This is about family. Closing his eyes shut,he remained silent as if he was fighting his own battle in his mind.

"And this person....",Ashen's voice rang again as he pointed at the red haired man. "He is the spiritual guardian responsible for all the spirits in the forests. Cloude "

"I have heard of you"

The nonchalant voice of Yoongi interrupted Ashen. "The king of the spirits,guardian diety of forests,all these kinds of names refer to you right? But why did you not help the war back then? And why are you sitting here today with us? What did Ashen offer you?"

"Sir Pendragon,I am a guardian who guards the spirits in the forests. I never needed to interfer in human realm. Your wars between among yourself had nothing to do with me",Cloude said with a little bit of a mischievous smile. "You all can fuck yourselves and I could care less"

Alright,the diety had quite a mouth. "But you see,because of someone from Nabi's side,spirits are greatly disturbed. At first 8 years ago I discarded the matter because human spirits were none of my concern but lately,even the forest spirits are disturbed. They are getting controlled by some motherfucker and I have to step up now"

Luca looked away knowing fully well who is causing these disturbances. He did not know why but he felt guilty for some reason but at the same time he felt awfully happy.

He was not the only pere who knew the identity of this spirit user. All the Pendragons had to look at each other. Who could it be if not their dearest shadow guard commander Jaykar. He was never announced as a traitor back then because he did not come out as one. No one had evidence to prove him guilty. And he never really came back to face Pendragons directly. He did his duty as the shadow guard secretly without facing them. But now,it seems like he is coming out of his shell.

Hoseok stood up when the introduction was over. "Alright,since everyone is done with their introductions,then let me ask this one question,why should we join you Ashen? You still could not convince us or give us a better reason to join this war"

Ashen looked at his uncle and stayed silent as if he is contemplating something. He looked at Namjoon.

Namjoon shook his head.

"What",Jimin barked after seeing the little interaction between Namjoon and Ashen. "Is there something we don't know? What is it?"

Still Ashen said nothing.

"Jungkook and Taehyung know it too",Yoongi pointed out. "You two fuckers should have been the last people on this world to join this battle. Specially you Jungkook. What is it? What made you change your mind?"

Jimin hissed as he slammed his fist on the table,glaring daggers at Jungkook,"Speak up!"

Jungkook made no move as he trained his eyes on the table.

This made Jimin more agitated as he launched himself across the table before grabbing Jungkook by his collar,demanding an answer,"Speak up idiot! Why the hell?! Why the hell did you choose this?! Do you actually intend on killing her?! Your sister?! Where is your fucking loyalty lies?!What is wrong with you!"

Jungkook couldn't stand it anymore. He stood up as he yanked Jimin off of himself and growled like an animal,"Do not fucking question my loyalty Jimin Pendragon! Every fucking thing is wrong with me! My fucking sister had been burning this world for life after life for me! For us! Only leaving us the option of killing her! She is fucking burning this world and herself for us! Do you understand?! DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND?!She will not stop for anything. If she fails,she would start again. She would torture her own soul for us again and again if we do not give her what she wants"

Jungkook backed away slowly without looking at the petrified figures of his brothers. He could not stay there anymore. He needed to run away. He needed to breath. So he did what he wanted to do.

He ran.

The meeting room was silent. The only people who were not shocked by Jungkook's words were Luca,Noah,Namjoon,Taehyung,Helios,Lyana,Ashen,and Cloude. The rest,they were thunderstruck. Just what did he say? What is the meaning of his words?

Noah stood up calmly. "I will go look for him. You all,....just continue without us"

When he left,he could hear Seokjin's loud voice demanding an explanation from Ashen.

When he came outside from the underground castle,he kept looking for Jungkook. Luckily,the red eyed man had not gone too far. He was leaning against a rocky mountain as if he was having a hard time breathing.

Noah stood next to Jungkook silently. It didn't take a second to pass before Jungkook grabbing Noah by the neck and pressing him against the rocky mountain. The eyes glowed in bright red as he struggled to breath,a panic attack.

Noah gritted his teeth in pain as he was being choked to death by this guy. Has there been a day where they never went for each other's throats. "Jung –kook! Calm down! I know you *cough* are in pain!"

"NO!",Jungkook growled. "You fucking don't know! You don't fucking understand how it feels like to being forced to kill your own loved ones!"

Noah coughed loudly,"Right! I –I don't understand! But I understand what it means to lose your sister!"

Jungkook laughed loudly but the tears of anguish roll down like a mockery to himself. "It's different",he whispered. "Losing your sister is different from having to kill your sister! My body hurts! My blood burns me! My mind screeches! My soul wails!AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

The scream he let out was mixed with the anguish and agony he was forced to feel. The bloodlust was getting out of control. He wanted to kill. But the only person infront of him was Noah.

The beast of a man slammed his fists on the either side of Noah's head,against the rocky mountain. The places where his fists met cracked,breaking small pieces of rocks. Another slam against the mountain,the whole mountain shook violently.

Noah had blood dripping down from his cheeks as the pieces of rocks had cut him when Jungkook was slamming his fists against the mountain. But Noah stayed still without moving.

When Jungkook caught the sight of bleeding Noah,he stopped. His eyes turned normal but the tears did not stop. "I can't do this",he slided down to his knees.

Noah pulled out a handkerchief from his pockets and knelt infront of Jungkook before taking his wrist. His knuckles were bleeding. "Right,it's different. You have to kill your sister. And I don't understand your pain but I can relate......Logan,he is my best friend. I had known him ever since I was little but apparently,I really knew nothing about him. The guy was always smiling and fooling around. The kindest man I had ever seen. Yet,it was all an act. All he ever wanted was kill. And it was not his fault. I knew what he was going through but I never knew to what extend",he said while wrapping his handkerchief around Jungkook's knuckles. "Maybe if I tried harder,maybe if I.....if I did something about it.......regret is all I have today. Right now,I'm ready to run away with him if he ever ask me to but I know he will not"

Noah ripped a piece of his dress shirt and took Jungkook's other hand before wrapping it on his knuckles. "That's why......that's why I have to kill him. Rather than torturing him even more,I want to give him a quick death"

Jungkook stared at Noah's calm face. He wondered how he could stay calm about this. "....can you really kill him?"

Noah,"I have to"

"No,I mean to ask whether you can do it or not"

Noah finally looked up at Jungkook's crimson eyes. "...."

They silently gazed at each other's eyes as if they were seeking answers for themselves from each other. Jungkook realised,they were the same. Killing your loved ones because they have given you no other choice,the pain is what is left for them.

How did the fate come to this point? Their original fate was far way different than this. Jungkook was supposed to kill Noah. But today they were gazing at each other trying to find themselves in each other's pain. Jungkook hated Noah and his sister and at the same time Noah hated Jungkook and his sister but right now,they only have each other.

That's why Noah followed Jungkook tonight. He knew that the only person who could understand this beast was him. No,he could not call him a beast anymore. Jungkook was a human. A human who feels pain.
