Nakamura Kazuki,a war hostage who came to the land protected by Pendragons with the help of Jimin Pendragon. Other than this little information,no one knew his real identity. Except for Nabi Pendragon.

The dual color haired male sat on top of a dragon as he stared down at the kingdom where he was born a long ago. His dragon was sitting ontop of the entrance gates of the kingdom proudly,waiting for his command. The sky was dark but moon shone brightly upon his head. With time,he had even forgotten to trim his hair resulting it to grow down the shoulders. He had to restrain his hair tying it into a ponytail.

Looking back,he could see the army of soldiers he brought. This is the end result he was waiting for all this time. Going back to his motherland again used to be an unimaginable dream but he achieved it today. His efforts paid off.

Why did he come to this point?

Because he has the right to.

It's his birth right.

And it is his way of vengeance.

After all,he was a royal blooded Prince who was casted aside by his own blood.

He was a prince born from the Royal blood but it was not the most respectful birth. His mother was a noble woman but not a concubine of the king. She was a duchess,a married woman. One of the powerful duke's wife. And the most beautiful woman in the kingdom.

This beauty came with a price. Many men in the kingdom drooled over her beauty and the king was no different. He became a slave for her beauty. But Kazuki's mother was a faithful woman who only had her eyes for her husband.

But her curse of a beauty thundered her whole life. The king forced himself on this beautiful woman when the Duke was away for the war. And she became pregnant.

The Duke felt betrayed. But he could neither kill his wife nor the king. His wife had to give birth to this royal blooded bastard child. But it was a disgrace. The Duke did not want to keep his disgraceful wife with him anymore.

Thus she was sold as a prostitute by the Duke as a punishment. But she killed herself because of the shame.

What about the bastard child?

Neither king nor the Duke wanted to raise the child. Thus,the late duchess' brother decided to raise the child and gave him a name with his last name,'Nakamura Kazuki'.

This uncle of his did not raise him because he loved the child. He only raised the child because he resembled his mother. He couldn't give the love of a parent to this child. He could only protect him until a certain age before getting killed by an assassin who came to kill Kazuki. Ever since he was born,he was constantly getting hunted by assassins. They were all sent by the Queen of the kingdom.

When his guardian died,he was sent to the war when he was just a pre- teen. Maybe because he had royal blood or maybe because his mother was a pure noble blood or maybe because of the both reasons,he managed to survive. He had to kill and witness death at this delicate age.

Then he was taken as a war hostage by the enemy kingdom. And he came a slave there. Getting beaten up everyday,he had to enter another survival game of life. He even had to fight with wild dogs for food.

But there came a day,his life changed. A hand of kindness reached him. When he was about to climb over a wall to escape,he fell down and landed on the hands of salvation. It was Jimin Pendragon who brought light to his life. His savior. Jimin brought him to his kingdom. Made him a knight of honor.

At the winter camp,he began another journey with Nabi Pendragon. When Nabi came to the winter camp,he thought she was a reckless yet matured young lady with a carefree behaviour. But when the camp was coming to an end,she approached him.

To his surprise,she knew everything about him. She knew his deepest desires. She wanted to make him her ally in return of helping him gain what he wants.

Kazuki had to think a lot about this offer. He even had the chance to be Leo's ally because he also could help Kazuki to go back to his motherland.

He most probably have taken Leo's offer if not for the fact that Jimin had helped him. He owed Pendragons. But forming an alliance with a future calamity? Nabi had already explained him what she is going to do and how she is going to destroy her own kingdom to achieve a certain goal. It was all for her family,he knew that much. But destroying a whole kingdom?

He had his own morals. But remembering the only kindness he received,he could not refuse. He would do anything for Jimin Pendragon. Pendragons might be villains for some people but to him,the name Pendragon was a blessing.

So he made a pact with Nabi.

That's how he came to this point. And now,he will take his revenge. And the rightful seat to the throne.

For the first time,the calm and cold face of the dual color haired man's face twisted into an insane grin. The stored up hidden anguish and emotions surged through his entire body as he shook in ecstasy. This is exactly what he hid with the mask of indifference every day.  To think only one person saw through his mask,how did Nabi even see him through like he is some kind of a character in a book?It almost felt like she was the god who created this world.

Kazuki did not remember how he massacred the entire royal family that day,his mind was blank. When he snapped back to reality,he was infront of the throne with a bloody crown in his hand. His whole body was covered in crimson blood as he had ruthlessly murdered the king,gaining the nickname 'prince of the scarlet night'. He crowned himself that day as the new king with the same bloody outfit. As he stood in the balcony before his new subjects,he left a deep imprint on their minds.

Meanwhile,in the kingdom of hell,Nabi was sleeping to subdeu her pain. Orpheus had to cast a spell on her so she would not wake up too soon.

The devil King did not move from her bed side ever since she fell asleep as if to keep a close eye on her. He stared at his lover's burnt face with an unreadable expression. Then his gaze shifted to her womb where he could see a small baby bump. After few seconds,he filled his palm with spiritual energy and gulped the lump in his throat as a murderous flint flashed across his eyes.

"I want you to love this child. I decided to give birth because I love you"

The murderous intent in his eyes vanished slowly remembering her words when she first got to know she was pregnant. He sighed before standing up and walking towards the window. "How can you expect me to love this child when he is driving you to an early grave"

The child was not a part of her plan. It was an accident. She could very well get rid of it but she decided against it.

Sometimes he wished she did not love him. Then she would not be going through another pain like right now. Love is a curse for her. Yet she clutched onto the chains of her curse so dearly.

It all started nine life times ago,in her first life in this world. The winter camp was the start of her journey. The day she fell into a hole on the ground.

Orpheus remembered very well what happened like it was yesterday.

Flashback

When Nabi fell into the hole,Orpheus also jumped in any case something happened to her,after all he did the most of the works to bring her to this world,so he considered her to be his possession.

It was pitch black,everywhere he looked was darkness that can be cut through by a blade. He was not scared since he was a part of the darkness yet he could not ignore the ominous chill on his back.

And he felt it,he was suddenly drowning in water. How could it be? He had fallen into a lake. But he had not seen it coming beforehand. Wait,a lake in darkness? A waterbody that has never seen the light. He felt his heart in his throat realising where he was. A mess even he wouldn't be able to escape if it is really what he is thinking. But there is no way? However,what if this is really it? But why? Why did it appear here?

The lake abyss black body,an ancient myth but it is not a myth. It exists but no permanent location. It appears anywhere at any time it wants. You can never find it but it will find you if it wants.

Right now,what does it want? Why did it find Orpheus —no,why did it want Nabi? The lake did not appear for the devil king,it appeared for her. He just accidentally crossed paths with it.
