A figure in black robes from head to toe jumped down from a horse and looked around the dark streets of the night. After making sure no one was following him,he entered the brothel and met the bartender who was cleaning the tables. The mysterious figure showed him a jade pendant.

The bartender gave a slight nod and lead him towards upstairs. When they reached a door far corner of the floor,the bartender knocked on the door before muttering,"The guest is here"

The door was slightly opened and a man covering half of his face with a black cloth appeared. He checked the jade pendant before letting the mysterious figure enter.

The door was closed immediately after he entered.

"Remove the robe. And we need to check you before letting you meet him",said the man who opened the door.

The mysterious man removed the cloak revealing his golden blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. The crown prince of the kingdom. He let the man check his body showing no harm.

Leo,"Is he here?"

"He is"

Leo nodded and followed the man when he leaded him in. A green veil separated them from someone else in the room. The person on the other side remained motionless and Leo could see a black devil mask on his face.

"Master,the crown prince is here"

The masked figure nodded and signalled Leo to take a seat. It looks like Leo wouldn't be able to go near him. He just has to sit infront of the veil keeping his distance.

"So you are....the dark emerald?",Leo asked cautiously.

"You requested to meet me. So how can I possibly disrespect the future sun of the kingdom by sending a fake?"

Leo squinted his eyes. The voice was deep and soothing. It's been few days since the attack happened. Ever since then he had been busy dealing with the outcomes and had no time. He had requested to meet the leader of the anti Pendragon organisation a long time ago but he only received the invitation few weeks ago. So,as soon as he found time,he came to meet him.

"You wanted to meet me. But you are silent now. Your highness,do you really have that much time to waste on me?",emerald asked bringing Leo back to reality.

Leo straightened his posture and decided to go straight to the point. "The last attack,were you behind it?"

Emerald tilted his head,"....I'm sure you know the answer. People don't raise hell dragons as pets you know"

It's true. It was definitely an attack from hell.

"But do you have any connection to it?"

Emerald chuckled,"Your highness,I know my organisation has become an information guild but it seems like rather than seeking information,you are trying to frame me"

Leo,"....."

Emerald placed his elbow on the table infront of him and placed his chin on his palm. "....Alright. So brave to come here and throw accusations. I'll let it slide since you are the crown prince. Hmmm...for the answer to your question.....no. I have no connection"

Leo frowned,"How can I believe you?"

Emerald tapped the table with his other hand fingers and waited patiently. "Do you want me to prove?"

Leo stayed silent.

Emerald,"I can prove myself but the real question is.....why should I?"

Leo,"Huh?"

"Think about it. Why do I need to prove myself to you? I didn't want you but you want me. I have no value in you. So,it doesn't matter whether you believe me or not. But you need to take a risk here. You need me for something,that's why you requested to meet me..... In this world,there is nothing you gain without a risk. So take it or leave it"

The man is cunning. He wouldn't let Leo play him. This man is a complete menace with an aura of darkness.

Leo has to take a step back and think. He can't think about his ego as a crown prince,he needs this alliance.

"Alright. I'll take the risk and believe you"

Emerald said nothing.

Leo stared at Emerald for few moments before opening his mouth,"You want to throw Pendragon family from their power,right?",...."You did a lot of background works to cause trouble for Pendragon family. From revealing their dirty works to fanning the sadistic sides of them. You absolutely detest them"

Emerald leaned back against his chair and hummed,"I did those things but there is a part where you are wrong"

Leo raised an eyebrow.

Emerald chuckled,"I don't want to throw them from their power. I just want to destroy all Pendragons from the face of earth"

Leo's eyes shrank. He felt a chill on his back. "What?",He whispered.

Emerald,"That's right. I'm planning to destroy every single one of them"

Leo was worked up as he stood up abruptly,"No you can't!"

A blade was on his neck as soon as he stood up. The man who opened the door for him was still beside him. It looks like he is Emerald's body guard.

Emerald,"Calm down and sit down"

Leo cursed under his breath and sat down again. "This is absurd! Do you really think it is possible?!"

Emerald,"Don't you also want to destroy them?"

Leo,"No! I only want to overthrow them from the power! Besides,Pendragons are our guardians. They are a gift from Lucian"

"Your highness,it's clear we have different goals. And our intentions of following the paths are also different"

Leo,"I'm telling you! It's impossible to destroy them. They are gods gifts!"

"More like God's slaves"

Leo paused. Seeing him pause,Emerald spoke. "Your highness,do you know the story behind their slavery?"

Leo bit his lips and waited silently. He knows the back story for some extent.

Emerald,"You know,we all worship Lucian. Even Pendragons. They even have a temple for Lucian inside their own Pendragon property. But.....no Pendragon had ever stepped into that temple to worship him.....of all people,Pendragons hate Lucian the most"

Emerald,"Let me remind you their story. Many centuries ago,when the Pendragons were just a dukal family with no powers,Lucian's daughter ascended down to see people. Somehow she fell in love with this Pendragon man and wanted to marry him. So she told this to Lucian. So he ordered that Pendragon man to marry his daughter",..."They got married. The daughter of Lucian was so happy but it didn't last long. That Pendragon man had a lover beside her. Even a kid. This enraged the daughter of Lucian so she told this news to his father"

Emerald chuckled finding this hilarious. An eerie feeling was hidden with his laugh. "A father who loves his daughter too much,what do you think he did?"

Leo stayed silent without answering.

Emerald,"He cursed that Pendragon man's whole generation. He cursed them to serve the kingdom as his slaves. And if they were to feel strong emotions as anger,their blood will boil to the point they'd feel physical pain. A strong bloodlust like a predatory animal,stamped them as monsters. And their curse must come to an end with disgraceful deaths of the last generation"

The last part was unheard. Leo had enlarged eyes as he heard it. "What?!"

"That's right. Disgraceful deaths. And the time has come for them. Their whole generation is going to get annihilated. No Pendragon shall be kept alive. That is the order of Lucian. Pendragon era must come to an end",...."And that's my job. To give them the most disgraceful deaths. I'm fanning their sadistic sides to make them commit heinous crimes"

The face that came to Leo's mind was Hazel. He couldn't let this happen. He couldn't watch Hazel die. And if things come to the way Emerald says,then wouldn't he be the one to give them the death panelty?

"I won't let you!!",Leo exclaimed as he stood up again. Veins were popping out from his forehead as he heaved his chest up and down.

Emerald,"You can kill me. But it won't stop. There will be someone else who will carry my duty. You can kill him too. But no matter how many times you kill them,someone will be born to do the duty"

Leo felt his heart sink. A cold feeling from the guts of his body aroused making him sick. His face color went from white to blue.

"You are a part of this too your highness. You are a main factor that contributes for the destruction of that family. You have to accept this fate. Pendragons are meant to die"

"What did you say? You want to be Ashen's martial art teacher?",Seokjin asked with wide eyes.

Hazel nodded,"Let me teach him"

Seokjin sighed and closed his file before placing his elbows on the table and rubbed his temples. Dark circles under his eyes are visible. "Hazel,Ashen is too small to learn. Also,we need you to guard the capital. This is not an attack from another Kingdom,this is hell itself"

Hazel,"Ashen is old enough brother. You know it too. And I can assure you that my team will do fine without me for few hours. I'll only take few hours to teach him and then the rest of the hours will be solely for duty"

Seokjin stared at Hazel before sighing. "Alright. Do whatever you like"

Hazel bowed and was about to leave but stopped,"Oh and please stop chewing out Dylan whenever you guys see him!"

Seokjin pursed his lips,"That....can't be helped"

Hazel gritted her teeth,"Good bye brother"

Ashen was in Hazel's arms as she carried him to the training ground.

"You are not doubting my skills,right?",Hazel asked with a smirk.

Ashen smiled,"No aunt. I know you are the strongest"

"It's your uncle Jungkook who is the strongest"

Ashen looked away,"Are you sure aunt?"

Hazel smirked,"You little devil. By the way,you need to meet uncle Taehyung too. Ask for some magic books and practice spells"

"Am I not too young for them?"

Hazel,"Nah. If you don't,you will get killed by some assassins"

Hazel was direct and honest with Ashen. She knew that he could take it. Sooner or later,someone from anti Pendragon organisation will come to kill Ashen and Luna.

Ashen,"I'm a baby. What can I even do? Protect me"

Hazel,"That's exactly why I told you to practice. Who would expect a baby to defend himself using magic? "

Ashen,"...."

Hazel,"Don't worry little guy. You'll be fine. I won't allow you to die"
