It was lady Lucy's wedding day. The wedding is going to take place in the imperial Palace Hall with the blessing of the king.

Lucy stared at herself in the mirror with a blank face. She didn't have regrets. The only regret she carried was the words she uttered to her brother which shattered him to pieces. Still she believed,she had to do it to protect him. He might still not know but he is breathing fine because of her. And she never plans to say the truth to him.

In one winter morning,when Luca was 13 years old,he died after exhausting himself to death. His body couldn't handle his hard work. At that moment,Lucy found him laying cold on the snow grounds of the training field alone. She did not know what to do. After wrapping him in warm cloths,she carried him to doctor Jackson. The body was still dying. And he couldn't be saved. But Jackson is not a random doctor. There was only one solution and it was to force a Pendragon life force into him. For that,a Pendragon blood person should melt half of his spiritual core and puff that life force into Luca through his mouth.

Lucy didn't hesitate. She asked Jackson to melt her core into half so she could breath the life into Luca. She did it. That's how he became strong.

She knew that she wouldn't live long because of what she did. So she had no expectations for the future. She became strong only to protect Luca. If she can die after making sure his brother would be safe without her,then that's all she needs. That's what drives her.

Hazel dragged Luca to the hall with force and pushed him inside. He huffed in annoyance not wanting to be there. Ruby brought a bow with her and choked Luca with it while tying it around his neck.

"Too tight bitch!"

Ruby,"oops"

Luca,"Be fucking sincere with your 'oops' !"

Hazel looked at her own dress. Her hair was loosely hanging on her back covering her sexy back. The black dress had hugged her nicely. "It's your sister's wedding idiot"

Luca rolled his eyes,"Like I care"

Hazel,"Go greet your parents. You haven't seen them for ages now"

Luca grunted in displeasure but eventually left them dragging his feet towards his mother. As soon as Karla saw his son,she pulled him by his ear and dragged him to his father.

Ruby,"Nice family reunion"

Hazel,"Ho ho,I know right. That little brat",she looked at Ruby. "I told you to get dressed too. Why do you stick to your maid uniform? You don't have to wear it"

"I'm a maid my lady. I know my own limit"

Hazel sighed,"So,how is your family situation?"

Ruby,"Paid all the loans. And abandoned them"

Hazel,"Aren't you going to regret?"

Ruby,"What is there to regret? I'm an adult now. And they are adults too. Since I paid all their loans,they can go and earn their own money"

Hazel,"Three brothers huh? They all depended on you? Not to mention they are older than you"

Ruby shrugged,"I only cared for my parents because they gave birth to me. Showed my gratitude to them until they died last year. Now what else there?"

Hazel knew that she loved her parents. So she didn't go to comment on that. She let Ruby stay in her comfortable zone of attitude.

Soon enough,the hall was filled with guests. Hazel could see her brothers here and there wandering around with their drinks. But her eyes were searching for a specific person tonight.

She saw Nakamura at a corner with a bored look. He was standing with Jaykar and Logan by his side. Only Logan did the talk heartily while Jaykar was awkwardly laughing at his lame jokes. When Nakamura's eyes met hers,he slightly nodded in acknowledgement. Hazel also gave a slight nod and looked around more. Biting her lips,she wandered her eyes everywhere.

"Do you mind giving me your first dance tonight my lady?"

A low deep voice rumbled against her ear with a hand wrapping around her waist. Hazel gasped as she looked back to see him.

Ruby immediately vanished to who knows where.

Hazel smiled with stars in her eyes,"Thought I'd have to ask you this time too"

Dylan,"Now,I wouldn't let my lady to miss the chance of being a typical lady in love",..."It's nice to be a normal couple once in a while,right my lady?"

Hazel,"Yes. But the dance hasn't started yet. Not to forget that bride and groom haven't done their vows yet too"

Dylan hummed,"It's getting boring then. Why don't we find a tree today too?"

"Not today. I can't go too far. My brothers might get seriously worried"

Dylan shrugged,"A clone like you?"

Hazel,"Taehyung can find if it is fake or not"

Dylan,"Right. That bastard is annoyingly powerful"

Hazel,"Hey! That's my brother!"

Dylan smiled,"Alright. Then let's go to the terrace?"

Before Hazel could answer,another person interrupted them. Eva.

"Uh excuse me? Can I speak to lady Hazel for a while?"

Dylan's eyes darkened having interrupted. He almost snapped at her if not for Hazel's grip on his wrist.

Eva could see the tension rising up so she immediately spoke again,"Only for a little while. I'm sorry. It won't take long"

Hazel stared at her for a while before nodding."Alright. Let's go to the terrace"

The terrace was empty with few chairs. Eva closed the door and stood infront of Hazel with her eyes on the ground. For a little while,she didn't say anything as if she is gathering her courage. So Hazel let her be.

Eva opened her mouth and closed it again. She did it few times before finally finding the right words. "I'm sorry Hazel"

Hazel,"For what?"

Eva slowly looked up at her with red eyes and a red nose. "For everything. I –I know I was stubborn and didn't listen to you. You tried to tell me many times that your....your brother....didn't kill my parents",she took a deep breath and looked down again,"But I was too blinded by my own stupidity"

"I think....I didn't want to see the truth. I wanted to blame someone. I wanted to keep myself sane with whatever I could grasp. I know I was selfish. I caused you a great pain. Though I wanted to be your friend,I was the one who actually ruined the chance",few tear drops flew to the ground and Eva quickly wiped it off and sniffled. "I know a simple sorry can't fix the pain I gave you and your brother,but I can't do anything anymore. The only thing I can do is staying away from you and your brother Yoongi"

Hazel was silent. Eva was curious what kind of face she was making but she was too scared to look at it. With clenched fists and ragged breathing,she looked up so she could face everything head on. But what she saw on Hazel's face was not something she expected. There was no anger. A simple smile filled with sympathy.

"Hazel..."

Hazel sighed,"I do understand you. Losing your loved ones,I can understand. That pain is torturous than any other torture. It will drive you to madness. So I understand Eva. But I hated you for hurting my brother. Because I'm not you,I'm me. I can't think from your point of view. I can only think from my view"

Eva sobbed and covered her mouth with her palm.

"Eva you....I'm not the one you should apologise here you know. As long as you don't hurt my family,I will not hurt you. But still you hurt Yoongi by slapping him one time. And Jungkook too"

Eva nodded vigorously,"I –I will apologise to them"

Hazel,"Hm. Take your time"

Eva shook her head,"No. I want to do it as soon as possible. I should fix what I did wrong. And also....I decided to move on from Leo"

Hazel was taken back. "Huh? Why?"

Eva,"....because I know he doesn't love me. I don't want to fight with you for his love"

Hazel scratched her neck awkwardly,"Hey,I don't love him. You don't have to fight with me silly"

Eva smiled,"Still...I can't force someone to love me back"

Hazel nodded with a thinking face,"Then wait for him?"

"Hm?"

"Wait for him to fall out of love with me?"

Eva chuckled shaking her head,"No. I can't do that. I have my own self respect"

Hazel nodded with a smile.

A silence took upon them. It wasn't awkward anymore. They stayed still with looking around at the environment.

Eva looked at Hazel and spoke again,"I know this question is going to sick you to death now but do you think we can ever be friends?"

Hazel chuckled and shrugged,"I don't know Eva. It's not easy. We are not emotionally prepared to forget everything and act as nothing happened,right?"

Eva hummed,"...you are right"

A knock on the terrace brought them out of their conversation. Behind the glass door was Yoongi with a confused face. He looked at Eva and then Hazel.

Hazel,"Nice timing"

She looked at Eva and gave a slight nod. Eva nodded back and stayed there as Hazel opened the door.

Yoongi glared at Eva and pulled Hazel back to him. "What's happening here?"

"Brother,don't get angry. Hmmm....I think she has something to tell you"

Yoongi raised an eyebrow,"To me?"

Hazel nodded. "Yes,to you. I'll be going now"

Hazel left Yoongi and Eva there. This should be it. Eva is out of her way now. The biggest trouble. Hazel smirked and looked at the statue of Lucian in the alter. A god with long hair was made out of white crystal rock. He looks majestic and handsome.

Eva was Lucian's sword to cut down Pendragon family. She would have risen up with power if things went the way in the past.

Noah was staring at Logan who had been avoiding him at all cost that night. He was confused. Did he do something wrong? Though he acted like he couldn't care less about him,he was worried sick by now.

With a sigh,he reached to a wine glass on a table and at the same time,another hand tried to grab it. Turned out it was none other than his natural enemy,Jungkook Pendragon.

Both of them glared at each other with eyes. They grabbed the glass at the same time and gritted their teeth.

"I touched it first",Jungkook hissed.

"I saw it first",Noah also hissed.

Jungkook,"Let go"

Noah,"You let go you miserable bastard"

Jungkook,"Do you want to die asshole?"

"Not a bad day to die"

Jungkook hissed at his answer and sighed. "What's wrong you? You don't usually get provoked"

Noah was also taken back by his own behaviour. Maybe he was worked up because of Logan. He sighed and let go of the glass. "Nothing. Just drink it"

Jungkook stared at him for a minute or two before shoving the drink to his chest,"I lost my interest"

Noah raised an eyebrow before taking the glass. "What's with the generosity?"

Jungkook,"It's not generosity idiot! I'm just giving the trash to you. If I lost interest in something,then it is trash. So yeah! This..",he pointed at the wine glass. "Is trash"

Noah rolled his eyes with a smile,"If you say so"

Jungkook scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "Your boyfriend is not around?"

Noah choked on his drink with a loud cough gaining so many stares. Jungkook made a disgusted face and threw him a tissue he found on the near by table. "Dude! What the fuck"

Noah,"Wh –What boyfriend?!"

"The tall good looking green eyed brat? Brother Hoseok's student? What was his name?...Mmmm...oh Logan!"

Noah gave him a confused glare,"Who said he is my boyfriend?! We are friends!"

Jungkook,"Oh. Is that so?"

Noah,"Yes! Don't start rumours now!"

Jungkook snickered,"I can if I want to. So don't get on my nerves you punk ass"

The night was going smoothly that day. Hazel kept staring at the sky through the window with her glass of wine. Dylan was beside her staring at the sky just like her.

"I wish this night would never end",Hazel whispered.

Dylan smiled,"Is that your wish? Do you want me to grant you it?"

Hazel shook her head,"I need to move forward. But you know what,I'm not scared"

Dylan smirked,"Because I'm with you?"

Hazel smiled,"Yes"

Dylan smiled softly,"....My lady,you should know one thing. This kingdom....does not matter to me. Even if it gets destroyed to pieces, I won't bat an eye. Nothing concerns me in this world with no meaning. Except you. So,go ahead and do anything. I'll be right beside you"
