Five months.

It's been five months since Kalisto died. The gatekeeper of the kingdom,the ultimate protector,one of the legendary rulers among Pendragons,Kalisto Pendragon had left the world. And his eldest son has taken the responsibility as the next Pendragon duke. As soon as he took the position,he had to stabilise his position by showing his power. In simple,he has to show his ruthless nature in order to keep the extras at their feet. It has been a silent rule in Pendragon dukedome for a long time.

Within these months,bloodshed began and terror started rooting the grounds of kingdom. It was a living nightmare for the kingdom. From beggars to the royalty,fear was no different. Seokjin was killing mercilessly with or without crime based background. Though he showed mercy towards the civilians,it didn't reduce the fear in one bit.

Though he was doing what he had to do,there were some punks who enjoyed it too much,like Jungkook. He was very much happy to bring some assholes who were going against Pendragons. And not to forget,there were some punks who were bad mouthing Hazel since she was the reason why Kalisto was dead.

Jungkook looked at the four women infront of him with an evil glint. "And what were you saying back there? I didn't quite understand. Care to elaborate?"

The girls were sitting around the dining table with their trembling bodies. One moment,they were gossiping and enjoying their tea at a restaurant and the next moment,they were in Pendragon house.

When no one spoke,Jungkookie fist collided with the table startling the four girls. "I asked something!"

A girl whimpered as tears began to fall. Jungkook looked at her and grinned devilishly before walking towards her. Standing behind her chair,his fingers touched her shoulder making her flinch at the touch. His hot breathing fanned against her skin as he spoke next to her ear,"Will you tell me? Hm? What were you talking about my sister?"

She sucked on her breath as tears fell down mercilessly in utter fear of death. She couldn't speak because fear was hindering her throat like a bitch. She opened her mouth but she couldn't let out a word. That's how much she is scared.

"Baby,I asked you a question. Aren't you gonna answer?",his hand crawled from her shoulder to her neck,pressing his fingers against her throat. A dark chuckle left his devilish lips,"Not much of a talker? Hmm. Should I break your vocal code since you have no use of it?"

The girl finally let out a squeaky voice,"It –It was a mistake!! It was a mistake!! I didn't mean to! Please have mercy!! Young lord! Please!I'll do anything!"

Other girls started crying loudly as she started begging mercy. Jungkook felt annoyed hearing the annoying cries of pleadings.

"Jungkook",Yoongi's voice interrupted him. He looked back with an irritated look.

"What?"

"Brother Seokjin is looking for you"

Jungkook groaned,"Again?! I'm busy!"

Yoongi,"Just kill them and go immediately"

The girls started screaming their guts out making both Yoongi and Jungkook wince.

"Shut the fuck up!",Jungkook growled and glared. He pulled out his sword but Seokjin was already there.

"Jungkook! That's enough. Come with me",Seokjin ordered.

Jungkook grumbled a bit but followed him anyways. They went to Seokjin's office and closed the door.

Seokjin glared at Jungkook,"For fuck's sake Jungkook! Stop going crazy!"

Jungkook rolled his eyes,"Are you fucking serious? You should be the one to go crazy? Why are you so calm and collected?"

"Exactly! You're enjoying this too much. It's my job anyways"

Jungkook,"Why? Are you scared I would steal your position?"

That threw Seokjin off the window since he never expected such a question from his brother. With all the pent up anger and stress,he threw his fist at Jungkook's face. Jungkook received it without a complaint since he knew he fucking deserved it for disrespecting the current grand Duke and also his eldest brother.

Seokjin took a deep breath and exhaled. He is going crazy. After calming down,he opened his eyes and looked at Jungkook who was wiping his blood from the lip,"Stop being an asshole already. I only killed the criminals who we collected over the years to put on a show infront of the society. True I spread the rumours of me killing anyone I want because I was blood thirsty but it doesn't give you the reason to really do it. You've been killing people without my permission"

Jungkook poked the side of his cheek but said nothing.

"What's wrong? Are you really fucking crazy?we are the guardians of this kingdom. How could you go all nuts like this?"

Jungkook,"Hazel is upset"

Off all answers,it wasn't on the list of what Seokjin expected yet he should have expected it. Hazel will always be the reason for his sanity and insanity. Jungkook is a blood thirsty monster,the perfect Pendragon man,and a real suitor for the Duke position . But giving the Duke position to someone like him means literal massacre. And it's not even his fault because he didn't chose to be born like this. The blood in his veins isn't his fault.

"I know she is upset. It's natural she is upset. But she needs time Jungkook. She needs time to become her usual self. She loves father a lot so it's hard for her"

Jungkook,"I'm not talking about that. I know she needs time and shit but if the bastards out there won't shut up about how she is the reason for our father's death,she will hear them once she steps outside! I know she doesn't care about what other people have to say but it will hurt her! Because she fucking believes it was her fault!!!"

"Calm down"

"No!! Did you go and see her for once?!! Did you?!! No you didn't  you piece of shit!!!"

"Jungkook Pendragon!",It was a warning Seokjin gave to tone down his attitude.

But no. Jungkook kept going. "What!!",he knows it's unfair to scold Seokjin because he was seriously busy. Seokjin had been in a living hell to protect the Pendragon family and he felt guilt striking down in him for acting like an asshole to his brother but when he remembers Hazel,he wanted to lash out. "She hasn't stepped out of her room for fucking five months!!And how the hell am I supposed to ask her to go out and have fun when there are so many motherfuckers out there bitching about her?! Do you even care?! No! You don't give a batshit about it!"

Seokjin's eyes snapped and glowed brightly. In the next moment,his sword blade was next to Jungkook's neck. Jungkook shivered when those intense red eyes glared at him. Seokjin's lips twitched upward slightly like he was snickering but he wasn't. It was a face full of rage.

"Jungkook Pendragon. Who are you talking to?"

A chill ran down Jungkook's body hearing the cold and empty voice filled with authority of a leader. The feeling was like facing an alpha wolf in a pack.
And Seokjin's glare was enough to understand that he needs Jungkook to be on his knees. This is the first time Seokjin had ever used his snapped state as a threat to his own brother.

Jungkook almost thought of kneeling but the door was burst opened revealing Namjoon and Yoongi.

Yoongi,"I fucking knew this would happen!"

Namjoon walked towards Seokjin and held his shoulder,"Put down the sword"

Yoongi also pulled back Jungkook,"Stop it already"

Seokjin didn't back down nor did Jungkook.

Yoongi hissed,"Jungkook! He is your leader! Put down your gaze!"

Namjoon,"Brother you too. Calm down. He is Jungkook"

Seokjin,"He needs to learn how to respect. Or else how I won't hesitate to kick him out of the house"

Jungkook was almost calming down but when he heard it,he got worked up,"What the fuck did you say?!"

"Jungkook! Fuck! Back down!"

Seokjin Pushed Namjoon away and took a step forward but Yoongi was in the middle blocking him from reaching Jungkook. "Snap out!!",Yoongi yelled.

Seokjin's eyes didn't snap out. He stared at Jungkook with the same intensity.

Jungkook who didn't really have a control of his own murderous intents,he snapped.

It's all over. If he snapped,no one can stop.

"JUNGKOOK! SNAP OUT!",Namjoon yelled.

Nope. Didn't work.

Jungkook pulled out his sword. This is not going well.

If they fought,everything will crumble down.

"Stop!",Luna stood at the door with wide eyes. Beside her was Hazel with wide eyes just like Luna.

Yoongi and Namjoon sighed in relief seeing the two women who actually had the authority over the men in Pendragon house.

Hazel was still in her pyjama dress looking very pale and sick while Luna was supporting her.

Jungkook and Seokjin snapped out immediately.

When Hazel's gaze went to the swords in their hands,they immediately threw them away in panic. They couldn't afford to upset her anymore.

"Fluffall"

"Hazel"

Jungkook tried to reach her but Luna stopped him with a glare. Her glare went to Seokjin when he tried to make a move. "What's happening?"

Jungkook and Seokjin looked away.

Hazel,"Sister in law,take me away. I don't want to stay here. Please",she sounded so weak and vulnerable that it broke everyone present in the room. It's clear what's going on in her head. Everything is happening because of her,her mind didn't stop that chanting.

"No wait!",Jungkook called desperately and tried to catch her wrist but Luna pulled her away immediately.

"Stop. Continue your bullshit and stress her even more",Luna deadpanned. She specially glared at her husband who looked down in shame. "You can sleep here tonight"

Seokjin lost the chance to sleep in his own room.

When the both ladies went away,the men were distressed. Looks like they will not get a chance to see Hazel for a long time. Last time they stressed her out,Luna had forbidden Jimin and Taehyung from visiting her. If they didn't listen,she had threatened to take Hazel away and hide her until she relaxes.

Yoongi,"If I can't see her too,I will personally behead you two",he threatened Jungkook and Seokjin. "Why the fuck should I get punished too for your idiocy!"

Namjoon,"Same here"

Jungkook took his sword from the ground and left without a word. Seokjin sighed turned around from her brothers. "Just leave. I need to be alone"

Namjoon groaned massaging his temples,"Just don't over do it. Let us help too. And you know how Jungkook is! He is a crazy bastard but you are not like him"

Seokjin,"Stop. I know what I am doing"

"Of course you do",Yoongi rolled his eyes sarcastically. "Everyone here knows not to trigger Jungkook. And if he is triggered,you are the best at dealing with his bullshit but what is this"

"Are you two also taking his side now?!",Seokjin yelled turning to them. Veins were popping out from his neck as he glared at them.

"We are not taking anyone's side",Namjoon said. "Brother,I know it's hard. That's why we are here. Just....don't do everything by yourself. Don't you trust us?"

Seokjin took a deep breath trying to calm down. "It's my duty to keep you all safe now. You don't have to take the burden"

Yoongi,"Go to hell. Are we fucking kids who need protection? Just because we are younger than you doesn't mean you need to look at us as kids. Just give up if you can't do this. I don't give a shit about this fucking kingdom. But if you want to protect it,then I will help. I'm only doing it not because I'm a Pendragon but because you are my brother "

Seokjin looked up as to not let his tears down. He couldn't let them see his tears.

"Just cry man",Yoongi said.

Namjoon,"Just cry if it's hard. We are here to give you our shoulders"

Yoongi and Namjoon pulled Seokjin to a hug and the man broke down immediately into loud sobs. "It's hard",he cried. "I feel like dying"

Yoongi sighed with a smile,"We know"

"I feel like giving up. I couldn't even look after Hazel. Didn't have a chance to even take a glance. I –I hate myself. She –She must be hating me",he cried.

Namjoon chuckled,"Hazel would never hate you. She knows about what's going on. She kept asking about you whenever I visited her. She seems a lot worried about you"

They stayed like that for a while letting Seokjin lay out his heart infront of them.

"HUH?! WHY CAN'T I VISIT HAZEL AGAIN?!",Jimin's loud surprised voice boomed through the mansion. "WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?!"

Seokjin grimaced hearing his annoyed voice while Namjoon and Yoongi laughed.

"Looks like we all are banned from visiting her",Namjoon said.
