"Greetings lady Eva",Logan greeted Eva who was next to Noah. "Hope you are enjoying the banquet"

Eva smiled greeting him,"Nice to see you sir Logan. I'm very much enjoying the banquet "

Logan looked at Noah and pulled him by his neck circling his arm around Noah's neck. "Ever since you got a sister,you've been neglecting me! Am I that insignificant to you now?"

Noah tried to push his clingy friend away trying not to embarrass himself. "What the, when did I — oh please,go away!"

Logan grinned not letting him go even for a second. "Why ~ come on! Didn't you miss your best friend?!"

Noah,"Miss who? Not even once! Let go"

Eva laughed at Logan's antics to tease her brother. Ever since she became Noah's sister,Noah had been giving her special attention ignoring every other person. There were so many things they had to discuss and they had to come to a lot of decisions during the past months. For example,Eva had to discard her surname Bulbrook to join Noah's family as an Adams. The siblings are under Adams family now,so it was like forgetting their identities.

Eva sighed as her gaze went to Hazel who was talking with her brothers in the hall. She was absolutely beautiful and gorgeous tonight. Eva was beautiful too but she wondered if her beauty can ever be compared to hers. No. It can't. In a way,Eva felt insecure. In any moment,Leo would enter the hall and he would see her beauty. Would he be mesmerised just like every men in the hall?

Even though Eva admired Hazel so much,she couldn't deny the fact that she felt something unpleasant with the way Leo looks at her. She loves Leo and she felt like she is losing him to Hazel. Eva had always loved Leo unlike Hazel who doesn't give a shit about the crown prince yet the prince's eyes were not on Eva. She was getting frustrated with each passing day and she wondered if there will be a day her admiration towards Hazel would vanish. Still,she didn't want to hurt Hazel. Hazel had saved her life when they were little kids,she couldn't be ungrateful.

Eva's eyes went to Yoongi who was fixing Hazel's hair pin. If she let go of her hatred towards Yoongi,would that he enough to pay for Hazel's sacrifices to save her back then? And maybe she could be able to fight for Leo's love? She has a brother now,she is not alone in this world anymore.

As if Yoongi felt Eva's glare,he looked at her. His crimson eye squinted as he raised an eyebrow. Blocking Eva's view,Hazel infront of Yoongi backfacing her. After sending Yoongi's attention to something else,Hazel looked back at Eva with a glare.

Clank!

A sound of glass shattering took everyone's attention. Eva looked back to see his brother standing infront of Jungkook who had his suit ruined with wine. His crimson eyes were glaring at Noah as if he was murdering his brother with his eyes.

Logan had his jaw dropped to the floor as he stood beside Noah.

"My apologies,I didn't see you coming",Noah apologied in a monotone. He didn't sound so sincere.

Eva panicked as she knew the old grudge they had against each other. Just how unlucky can someone get to clash into your enemy like this? Jungkook had almost killed Noah back then but will he succeeded in what he couldn't do that day?

Logan immediately placed himself between Jungkook and Noah with a nervous smile,"Are you alright sir Jungkook? Here,let me lend my handkerchief —"

Jungkook,"No need"

His eyes glared right back at Noah but didn't lose his shit like back then.

"My friend is a little clumsy sometimes sir,hope you will understand",Logan said raising his palms in a surrender position.

Jungkook looked at where Hazel stood and saw her staring at him blankly. He sighed and walked away from the scene without saying a word.

Logan heaved a big sigh as if he had seen his life line in a split second. Even though he had a win against his master Hoseok,he had never sparred with Jungkook and he didn't need to fight to know the result. So,he'd rather not get on Jungkook Pendragon's bad side. "That was a close call. Seriously Noah,you're lucky he overlooked your clumsy ass just like that"

Noah didn't seem faltered by anything that happened.

"That was probably because of Hazel",Eva said. "He wouldn't do anything if she is near by"

Logan seemed amused by this,he looked at Hazel and smirked,"She is an interesting lady"

"ANNOUNCING THE ARRIVAL OF THE SUN OF THE KINGDOM,HIS MAGESTY THE KING BASKERVILLE AND THE QUEEN AMILIA"

Everyone in the hall fell into a dead silence as they all bowed their heads facing the terrace. The king and the Queen stood there receiving all the respect from the nobles.

After giving a small speech to congratulate the crown prince,the king and the queen left to their respective seats on the terrace.

"Announcing the arrival of the little sun of the kingdom,his highness Leonard!"

The crown prince also appeared on the terrace as he greeted everyone who came to wish him. "I'd like to give everyone my gratitude for coming here to wish my birthday. I hope this banquet will show how grateful I am to all of you",he delivered his speech, eyes momentarily stopping on Hazel who was staring back at him just like everyone else.

Hazel's pov|

I could see Dylan from the corner of my eyes,standing far away from me. He was already in the hall but I didn't notice until now. Dylan —should I really be calling him Dylan since I now know his real identity? I don't really think that's a good idea. If somehow heard me call him Orpheus,things would take a weird turn.

Alright then,Dylan it is.

After Leo finished his speech,he'd come down to do the first dance of the night since it is his birthday. He'll be the one to start the party.

"Who do you think prince will dance with today?",I heard some ladies whisper.

Probably Eva? I'd like to think like that but I'm not a dumb person. Leo would either choose Eva or me. I need to hide.
There is a high possibility that he'd choose me because of some twisted reasons!

I backed away little by little and turned around once Leo finished his speech. Gotta escape!

"Lady Hazel"

Oops! Who the hell!

"Lady Lucy?",I muttered with a little surprised face once I saw who called me. Gosh,I need to make a run out of this place!

Lucy,Luca's older sister. It's been a long time since I last saw her. Though she is also a Pendragon knight,it's hard to run onto each other very often in that city size Pendragon estate.

Lucy seemed to be a little bit nervous as she approached me. "Uh Greetings my lady"

I bowed slightly to acknowledge her greeting. Usually we don't do talks like this because she had always been an introverted shy person. And because of that,she never knew how to build a conversation thus I'm guessing she'll go straight to the point.

"H –How is my brother doing?"

I knew it. If there is anything she needs from me,then it's related to her brother. These siblings don't know how to communicate without starting a fight. Luca despises her but she still loves him. Atleast that's how it seems like. That emotionally constipated brat does not talk a lot about his sister.

"He is doing good. I think he came here before us with my nephew. Probably somewhere where they could find food"

Lucy smiled at that but it turned out to be a sad one. Even her sad smile looks gorgeous.

"P –Please take care of my brother. He probably sees you as his sibling than me. So uh can –can you give him this",she showed me a small velvet box."This is a small gift. He wouldn't accept it if I gave him this,so can y –you give him this?"

Her conversation is getting really darker and darker. I mean by the standards of awkwardness. She is really innocent and naive. I feel a little bad.

Lucy,"This is nothing much but a pair of cufflinks. I –I thought it would look good on him"

Now I feel really bad. These siblings are so dense and super awful. Maybe I should smack Luca and drag him to Lucy's feet?

"Uhm,it's not a problem but why don't you try giving him this? Maybe he'd be happy? I mean,he wouldn't show it but he'd appreciate it somehow. You know how he is,he is brash and harsh but all he does is bark and no bite. And it's been so long since you talked to him,why don't you try talking to him?If things go wrong,I'll give the cufflinks to him later?",I tried to convince her but she seems reluctant.

But before she could say anything,somehow interrupted us.

"My lady"

Great!

Fucking great!

"Would you like to dance with me?"

Fuck no!

"Uh sure",I can't embarrase a royal family member now,can I? It's his birthday. But is Eva alright?

As I gave my hand to Leo,I looked around and finally spotted Eva with Noah and Logan. She seemed hurt. Now I am the bad guy? Basically yes. Hazel is always Eva's villainess in both lives,huh? The villainess who steals her man. But honestly though,I don't want Leo.

Leo leaded me to the dance floor and took my waist and hand. Only the two of us danced since it is the first dance of the night. I wonder what my brothers are thinking. Are they cursing at Leo? I hope so. Ho ho.

"Did you dress up for me?",Leo asked with a smirk.

You wish bish.

"No. Not for you"

Leo raised an eyebrow. "Then for who?"

You are asking for this man!

"For your brother"

How was that?!

Oh he looked hurt and angry?

Leo,"Are you for real?"

"I wouldn't lie to you,your highness",I said with a straight face.

Leo,"Hazel,what do you see in him? All he knows is drink and wonder around who knows where"

"Honestly speaking,I see more than enough in him. Unlike someone,he wouldn't use me for the throne or power"

The grip on my waist tightened as he pulled me more to him. We are basically pressed together as it's getting uncomfortable now.

"So you two are a thing already? "

"Not yet. But I wouldn't mind if it is him"

Leo snickered staring straight into my eyes. He looks really mad now. Really really mad!

"I'm offended you know?"

I could care less.

"I don't really care. But you know what,why don't you try to see what's Eva feeling right now? She is your best friend right? I thought you two were in love with each other?"

Leo,"We are just friends. True there was a time I felt something for her. But it's all gone. I don't know why too. It's hard to view her in that way"

This is going in a wrong way.

"Eva loves you",I stated.

Leo sighed,"I know"

What? This son of a bitch!

"I know she loves me and that's why I'm keeping my distance with her. But at the same time,she is my friend. I won't abandon her"

I'm glad we are the only one in the dance floor. And because of the loud music,no one can hear our conversation.

But dude! I can't believe that the male lead doesn't feel anything towards the female lead!

From the corner of my eyes,I saw Eva running outside the hall. This is depressing. It's not even my place to worry over her but I kinda feel sorry for her.

The dance was over in a minute and I bowed Leo before walking away.

Jimin,"Did you step on his foot?"

Annoying punk!

"You wish! I'm a good dancer unlike someone",I said with a scoff.

Jimin,"Oh you must be talking about Taehyung?"

Taehyung who was drinking a wine glass,glared at Jimin. He looks different today because he is not wearing his old cloak today. He is dressed as a gentleman like any other man.

"Guys,I need some fresh air. I'm heading out a bit",I said with a tired sigh.

Hoseok,"Hey be careful. And don't stay outside too long,it's getting really cold"

"Oh by the way,you look beautiful today",Seokjin complimented me. Luna was beside him with a bored face. She gave a slight nod to agree with his husband.

"Thanks brother. Brother Namjoon choose this outfit for me"

Namjoon winked at me.

"Fluffball,you could have asked me. I have a better taste than him. But you really look beautiful",My Jungkookie is the sweetest.

"Ugly as fuck",Jimin said with a disgusted face.

Taehyung,"Right. You look awful"

Yoongi turned me around and pushed me,"Don't listen to them. We'll teach them a lesson. You go already"

I saw from the corner of my eyes Jungkook grabbing Jimin by his collar.

"Jimin,you are ugly too and thank you! And Taehyung,your laughter is like a rooster getting slaughtered then and there!",I commented before running away.

I could hear Taehyung's angry voice calling for me but screw him. As soon as I came out from the hall,I saw Eva at the water fountain. Not a good place. I don't want to face her. I turned around and walked towards the garden area. No one is here since everyone is enjoying the party inside.

A gasp left my throat when I was yanked by someone. My first instinct was to hit him but when I saw who was that,I paused.

"Dylan?"

He shushed me with a smirk and leaded me towards the maze garden infront of us.

"Wait! We can't go inside! What if we get lost in there?!",I whisper yelled.

"Don't tell me you're scared",he said.

"I'm not scared you little shit! My brother are waiting for me!"

Dylan,"You don't have to worry about getting lost. I'm good at directions. Now let's go"

When I blinked my eyes,we were not at the entrance of the maze garden. A huge tree was infront of us with a lot of fairy lights? Or lights made from magic? He teleported us here? Where are we?

"We are at the very middle of the maze garden",he answered to my thoughts as if he understood what I was thinking.

I laughed,"So this is what you meant by I'll never get lost?"

Dylan shrugged,"We would probably get lost if we literally tried to walk and find this place. I used the simplest way"

He is hilarious.

"So why are we here?"

He shrugged again with a smile,"I don't know. I thought it'd be nice to come here. You know,no one would get here because of the maze. You can probably use some alone time here"

"Hm? How'd you know I needed some alone time?"

"I guessed? Come on. Give me your hand",he grabbed my hand without my permission and in a moment,we were on a tree branch. I was next to the tree trunk placing my shoulder on it.

"You still like to sit on trees huh?",I asked with an amused grin.

"Why? You don't like it?"

"No,I like it too. It's peaceful here"

Silence took over us. It wasn't uncomfortable. The fairy lights flew around me and it reminded me of the night when Dylan took me out at my debutant ball. I asked him to show me some tricks and he showed me some glistening butterflies or something.

"I thought you'd ask me to dance with you today,just like 4 years ago",Dylan said out of nowhere.

Did I hear a hint of disappointment?

"Hey,if you wanted to dance with me,you could have man up and asked me before Leo. And isn't it man's job to ask a lady for a dance?"

"Don't be a typical lady. You were fine asking me to dance 4 years ago though"

"I'm a typical lady now. So ask me to a dance if you want to dance with me",I suddenly feel competitive and petty.

"So,you'd say yes if I ask you to a dance?"

What's with him? Why wouldn't I say yes?

"Try asking me next time. You'll get the answer"

He smiled looking away. What's wrong with him?

Wait,I need to seduce him! He seduced me that night and made me a weak duckling!! You fucking bastard! I dressed up just for you!

I leaned a bit closer to Dylan's ear and whispered,"By the way,what do you think about my dress?"

He was startled as he looked at me. He blinked before his eyes travelled down to my chest. A grin crept into my lips when his cheeks went red. I leaned a bit more,"So? What do you think?",I bit my lower lip looking at his flustered face.

Where is your confidence from that night? Huh?

"Uh,you look...okay?"

Okay? Is that it?

"Is that all? I thought you'd say something more"

He cleared his throat,"Are you sure you are not trying to provoke me?"

I leaned to his ear,"Oh am I?"

Dylan flinched and looked away,"My lady,you better stop"

"Hm? Why?"

Silence.

What's wrong? I didn't go too far right?

I gasped left my mouth when I was pressed against the tree trunk. His hair locks covered his eyes preventing me from reading his eyes,"Because I know how to flirt too. Better than you",he looked at me in the eye as he grinned. "But you see,I'm not a man you should play with"

I smirked running my index finger over his chest towards his collar. "Is that so?"

I felt a shudder under my fingertip. He is that sensitive to my touch? Should I continue? Or not? But I want to continue. I want to see what he might do. Why am I so excited?

I pulled him by his collar towards my face,"But you seem to be fine with playing with other women"

My breathing is getting ragged. It's hard to breath. It feels so hot inside my body.

"You are not other women"

My heart did skip a beat. And it happened continously,I can't seem to stop it. I stared into his eyes,they seem to be dilated as he also stared into my eyes. And before my brain could think,my tongue slipped some words that would turn my fate upside down.

"Kiss me"

We both paused. No one said anything. I'm shocked by my own words that I couldn't look into his eyes anymore. I opened my mouth to take back my words but my eyes went wide when he clashed his mouth onto mine.

I couldn't think what was happening at that moment. My mind was clouded by the sin called lust. I didn't know what was I thinking when I kissed back but I'm not regretting at the moment.

His lips collided with mine perfectly synchronising. It wasn't an innocent first kiss I had expected but a heated tongue kiss. And I loved it. Overtaken by lust,he kissed my jaw to the neck. His long tongue slided along my neck while I kept my eyes closed feeling so pleased. His hot breathing fanned against my neck as he whispered with his deep ass voice,"Still wanna continue?"

I bit my bottom lip and heaved a shaky breath,"Yes"

"I'm not a gentleman when it comes to this Hazel. I get so dirty,you see",he grinned groping my breast.

"I like it dirty",I grinned back.

"Fuck,come here",he pulled me his lap and took my position placing him against the tree trunk. I was sitting right ontop of his groin and I could feel it getting bigger under my ass.

He paused and released my bosom before looking at me with his dark eyes. Suddenly they turned green. "Orpheus. Call me Orpheus",he whispered against my lips.

"Orpheus",I called him feeling like drugged.

He kissed me again cupping my face. "That's right. The one touching you like this is not Dylan. It is Orpheus"

His eyes turned black again. He sighed with a smile staring into my eyes. "As much as I want to continue,we need to hear back now. They might get suspicious if you are out for too long"

And it's like I came back from my dazed state. My brothers!! Fuck!! I'm done for if they knew!

Dylan started dressing me up again without saying anything.

"Hey,but you got a problem down here too. What are you going to do?",His hardened groin is still pressed against my ass.

He smirked,"For someone who almost had sex,you don't seem to be shy"

Well,even though I haven't had sex for over 18 years, I had done it multiple times in my past life. Hey,I don't need to hide it from this guy,right?

But I do feel awkward a little bit. My heart is still racing. To avoid any uncomfortable situation,I need to say this,"When I was in the other world as Nabi,I had sex with guys. So no problem"

Dylan nodded,"Alright. Then no hard feelings?"

"Nope",I immediately responded.

Dylan,"Let's go then. And don't worry about me. I can take care of myself —"

Startling both of us,the ground started shaking. A loud sizzling sound came from the sky and an orange flames started appearing in the night sky!

Is this....what I am thinking?!
