Power,the word itself describes the meaning it holds. There is no need another definition for that word because everyone knows the worth. When the Pendragons hold an overwhelming military power,there is another power this kingdom worships. Temple power with healing abilities. Temple is the absolute power comes after military power. Even mage families do not top Temple power. Because their one and only God of light Lucian is being worshipped there. The only God this kingdom worships,the god who cursed the Pendragons with that godly strength,is non other than Lucian. The family who serves Lucian,the holders of enormous amount of temples,family Bishop. From King to beggar,everyone worships Lucian,thus the power in Bishop family is constant just like Pendragons even without military power.

Luna Bishop,the eldest daughter of the Bishop family,was married to the eldest son of the Pendragon family 4 years ago. It was a proposal marriage which compromised mutual benefits. A marriage which succeeded in scaring the imperial family. Two power families combined together,it would be unstoppable if imperial family failed to grasp the power. In the history,Bishop family and Pendragon family never interfered with each other since Bishop family stays neutral within this power struggle. They never took a side to share their power but it has changed now. Everything happened after the birth of the anti Pendragon organisation whose desperate goal was to destroy the Pendragons.

Though Bishops are neutral,they believed in Lucian. Since Lucian believed in Pendragon,they needed to show their support to Pendragon even though Pendragons didn't need it. But who would refuse a power hand which could scare off the maggots crawling around them? If they thought Pendragons can be destroyed,then they are going against the absolute all might,Lucian.

Luna,a beauty with lavender eyes,a cold hearted woman with no mercy to injustice. A woman with a good judgement,a vicious woman who is only second to Luca's mother Karla Pendragon. While Karla spreads her power through her aggressive attitude,Luna spreads power through her cold and quiet menacing attitude.
And soon enough,Hazel will climb upto her spot like Karla and Luna,it was inevitable after all.

"Is the lady awake yet?",Luna's cold voice vibrated infront of Hazel's room.

Luna's maid knocked on Hazel's door,"Lady Luna is here,is the lady Hazel awake yet?"

Soon the door was opened revealing Ruby. She bowed to Luna and stepped aside,"Yes my lady. She is awake"

Hazel was sitting on the bed with a messy hair wincing in pain from the last night hangover. She was still clueless when Luna entered inside.

"Ruby,I told you I don't want to meet anyone ~",She whined.

Luna,"Greetings young lady. Had a good night sleep?"

Hazel's eyes almost popped out of her sockets when she heard Luna's voice. "Sister in law!"

Luna ignored her shocked face and took a seat on the couch infront of the coffee table. She signalled her maid something and the said maid put a soul bowl on the table.

Hazel immediately jumped to her feet and stumbled towards the opposite couch and sat down without even caring to look pleasant at all. "Sister in law,what brought you here? "

Luna sighed as she stared at Hazel for few seconds before speaking,"Hazel, I know you're an adult and I have no intention of controlling where you go and what you do. You can drink to your heart content too......But you see,you got some overprotective father and brothers who still see you as a little baby"

Hazel grimaced knowing where this conversation is going. She had made them worried again and Luna must have a hard time consoling her husband.

"You were supposed to come home yesterday morning yet you never came. It was at dawn when you came home drunk and wasted. You couldn't even recognise your own father. Can you imagine the shock father went through?"

Hazel bit her lower lip in embarrassment as she went red.

"You spouted some nonsense saying you were not Hazel and you're dead and the list went on until Taehyung made you sleep",Luna listed out the nonsense she did with a straight face.

Hazel's heart skipped a beat hearing the last words. She had almost revealed herself yesterday,hadn't she? What must have been Kalisto's reaction?

"I -I am sorry sister in law",That was all Hazel could muster up to tell. She had no excuse.

"You better be. Hazel,I can't discipline you like to a child. I can't use a stick and hit you. You're an adult so you must know what's the best for you. I'm not telling you not to enjoy your life, but try not to worry your family. And here",she pushed the soul bowl towards Hazel,"I made a hangover soup. Drink this and come downstairs"

Hazel made a beaming puppy eyed face seeing the hangover soup and cried,"Sister in law!!! I will even drink poison if it's from your hands!! Your hand made soups are the best!"

Luna,"No need to go that far. I only came here to check on you and remind you what happened. Then....",she stood up and looked down at Hazel. "I'll be on my way"

"Wait wait! Where is Ash?"

Luna,"Ashen is with his father now. Oh now you I remembered,he said 'fuck' yesterday. I wonder who taught him it",she gave a piercing glare to Hazel which made her shrink further into the couch. "Tell Luca to be careful too. Just because I won't hit to discipline doesn't mean I won't beat you two"

Luna left after that.

Hazel let out a breath of relief,"She says that but still she let Ash hangout with me and Luca"

Ruby,"Young lord Ashen is still 3 years old. You must not curse at each other infront of him"

"Blame Luca. He is responsible for Ash's vocabulary"

Ruby sighed,"My lady,shouldn't you worry about yourself now? You made such a ruckus yesterday. Young Lords must be furious"

Hazel sighed out feeling hopeless. She remembered what happened but the most important thing is Dylan's appearance after disappearing for almost 4 years. She needed to meet him again.

When she came downstairs after refreshing,the atmosphere was heavy and thick as mist. Hazel knew she screwed up a big time seeing her brothers sitting in the dining hall. Kalisto was in the head seat with Seokjin and Namjoon in the either side of him. Beside Seokjin was Luna with a stoic cold face. Beside her was Jungkook and next to him was Jimin. On the other side,beside Namjoon was Yoongi and next to him was Hoseok and then Taehyung.

Their expressions weren't very good except for Jungkook of course who was smiling so proudly as if he is pleased with her behaviour. He always enjoyed crazy things after all. Other than him,everyone was looking like Hazel had lost her kidneys over a night.

"Haz! Haz! Fuck!"

Hazel winced slightly hearing a toddler's voice coming from Seokjin's side. A little boy was on his lap almost hidden from the table height. The little one peeked from the table as he shouted in delight seeing Hazel. And the words escaped from his little mouth made it even harder for her to approach the table.

Luca you bastard! I'm going to kill you! Why the fuck do I have to pay for what you taught this child?!

Hazel smiled nervously at the crimson eyed baby and waved,"Hey Ash"

"Haz! Up! Up!",Ashen raised his little arms up as if he wanted Hazel to hold him up.

Kalisto sighed loudly,"Sit down already"

Hazel looked at where she could sit. A seat next to Jimin or a seat next to Taehyung? Both of them are awful after all,she took a seat next to Jimin since Jungkook was next to him. If anything,Jungkook would smack the shit out of Jimin when needed.

The food was brought to her by kitchen maids.

The whole table was silent and a pindrop would be heard at this rate. It was suffocating.

Taehyung suddenly scoffed as if he is sick of being silent,"Got nothing to say Hazel? Any stupid excuse?"

Hazel,"What do you mean stupid?! I was in the bar,alright?! Was that a big deal?"

Seokjin immediately handed Ashen to a maid and ordered her to take his son to his play room sensing that the conversation would not be good.

Taehyung,"And getting drunk till you can't even recognise your own family?! Making a fuss all over the place!"

Jungkook,"Oh shut it! She is still not used to getting drunk. You can't expect a perfect behavior from her when she still 18!"

Jimin,"Stop fucking defending her!"

Jungkook,"And what are you gonna do?"

Jimin,"Stop being such a fool! She could have told us she was going to the bar! She barely past the line of adulthood and went on her own to get drunk!"

Hazel,"Barely?! I'm 18!! You were sleeping with women when you were 18!"

Jimin,"You!!"

Kalisto,"Hazel!!"

Hazel huffed in annoyance and crossed her arms over her chest feeling petty.

Taehyung,"You can't expect her to respect us,father!"

Hazel,"Thank god you know it"

Jungkook laughed,"That's my girl"

Namjoon groaned stroking his forehead,"Guys,stop it"

Jimin,"This needs to continue!"

Yoongi,"For fuck's sake"

Seokjin,"Yoongi!"

Yoongi,"What?! There is no children here!"

"Exactly!",Hazel took the point. "I'm a fucking adult!"

Yoongi,"Don't use my words as a scapegoat,Hazel"

Hazel,"Oh come on brother!"

Luna felt like she was having a server headache. The Pendragon household bickering wasn't a new thing yet she still had headaches.

Hoseok,"Hazel,what were you doing in that abandoned house? You had even dragged that Nakamura kid! He is an imperial knight!"

"We were drunk! And what's wrong with him being an imperial knight?!"

Jimin,"You shouldn't include imperial knights into your silly pranks! We have boundaries!"

Hazel,"Well,Jungkookie is an imperial knight too!"

Jungkook,"But I'm a Pendragon"

Hazel,"Hey! Whose side are you?!"

Jungkook,"Of course you but I had to correct you"

Taehyung,"is it a sin to kill you Jungkook? Stop being so stupid. Pick a side already"

Jungkook,"You bastard! I'll pluck your eye balls!"

Jimin,"That's gross"

Yoongi,"Fucking hell what is this? I thought we are here to eat?"

Seokjin,"Yoongi for fuck's sake Stop cursing!"

Yoongi,"....."

Namjoon,"I'm having this desire to kill myself"

Hoseok,"Hazel,answer me,what were you doing in that abandoned house?!"

Hazel,"Hunted ghosts?"

Jimin,"Are you fucking serious now?"

"WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP?!!",Kalisto's voice boomed through the halls as he yelled.

Everyone fell into a silence after that.

Luna sighed in relief.

Kalisto had veins popping out of his arms and forehead,"You all need to stop going at each other's throats! Think about lady Luna atleast!"

It was as Seokjin remembered he had a wife and looked at her with an apologetic look. "Honey,I'm sorry"

Luna neither accepted nor declined his apology. She seemed to be pissed off.

"Hazel,it's fine to go and have fun. But you got us all worried yesterday. You were supposed to be home yesterday. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Hazel understood him. There is a whole ass organisation out there trying to hint down Pendragons and the hell attack from years ago was still effectively affecting them. It was only reasonable for them to get worried.

"Yes papa"

Jungkook rolled his eyes and he almost saw his brain,"She can take down anyone father. Who can even harm her? Taehyung had even put a charm on her to protect her from any evil magic. He would have known if something happened"

Kalisto sent him a glare immediately shutting him up but Jungkook didn't lower his head.

Kalisto,"I know that. But you can't always expect the enemy to be weak"

Jungkook was about to argue but Yoongi spoke before him stopping him from going any further,"She is strong,we all know that. But what father said is right"

Jungkook didn't go to argue after that. He also knew that it isn't impossible for Hazel to be in danger. And if anything happened to her,he'd go insane too.

Kalisto,"Alright. Let's have the lunch now. No more arguments"

Hazel spent the rest of her day inside her bedroom. She wasn't exactly sad or anything rather she was happy. These type of arguments are common and she sometimes enjoyed them. Family is all about love and arguments after all.

After getting freshened up,she wore her long white night gown and let her rose scented wet hair down. She sent Ruby to her chamber earlier than usual and closed her door shut. Then she walked to her balcony before opening the glass doors to the balcony. The white transparent curtains danced with the night breeze and it almost blocked her view.

When she blinked,a raven haired youth was infront of her with a smirk alluring his handsome face. The long hair was no more,he had cut his hair with an undercut. And he no longer wore robes but a casual male outfit,a black long sleeved shirt tucked under white pants.

"Were you waiting for me,my lady?"
