Hazel's Pov|

I finally sent off the princess safely to her kingdom. Phew,that was a week that suffocate me to death because I fucking hated staying in the palace. I want to go home!! But the thing is,....right now,I'm in a bit awkward position. And who put me into this situation?  The Queen of this nation,Dylan's mother.

How did I end up here? For God's sake I came back to the palace to bid my farewell to the King as a respectful etiquette towards the king. After all,I had been assisting imperial knight order since they were too busy to take care of a princess from another Kingdom. I bet Luca's non existing reputation that Jungkook must have pulled some strings to make me do this shit. Or else why do I need to escort a princess when there is Nakamura. Jungkook had been stuck in the palace because of some foreign ministers affairs and providing security,so he must have wanted me to entertain him. And made Nakamura ask me for help. I need to confirm my theories with Nakamura later but things really went to my favor. So I won't bug Jungkookie for that. He just brought me an opportunity to make an alliance with a foreign princess.

Back to the main point,I'm now inside Queen palace,inside her greenhouse,having a tea party. I ran to the Queen after greeting the king and she wanted to have some tea time with me. Could I refuse? Well,I could. Who is going to stop me anyways. But this is Dylan's mother we are talking about. The bastard son of her has disappeared for 4 years and no one had heard of him apparently. Since I'm indebted to that bastard,I should atleast respect his mother like this. But what does she want from me?

"My lady,isn't the tea to your liking?",she asked giving me a kind smile. She is a beautiful woman in her old age. Though she is old,she is gorgeous. I could see from where Dylan's looks come from. She is a gentle woman from the looks but I'm not sure about her inner side. I haven't really paid attention to small details when I real the novel and she was just an extra in the novel.

"Not at all,your majesty. The tea is delicious and I like it. The aroma is so good that it soothes both tongue and mind. Cinnamon tea really is the best",I replied. I know shit about tea. I just straight down lied because why not! No one would offer a bad tea to an important guest like me,right?The tea is really not to my liking because I hate cinnamon smell,no offence to those who like it though. In Luca's words,my taste is fucking shit weird. He is just salty because he likes cinnamon tea.

The Queen stared at my face with an amused smile and shook her head placing down her own tea cup. She stayed silent for few seconds before speaking with a sweet tone,"You don't have to force yourself to drink if you don't like it"

Crap

Did she just read my face? Well,Ruby said I look like I ate dog shit when I drank cinnamon tea for the first time. Maybe I couldn't hide my shit eating face infront of this damn cinnamon tea!

This is awkward.

I cleared my throat looking anywhere but her face. "My apologies if I offended you your majesty"

She laughed like a sweet lady and gave me a warm look. What is with her sweetness? By the way,I hate it. Not because they were fake but because they were sincere and genuine. I can't take sincere feelings from others. I already have a ton on my plate and I can't sacrifice myself for another human being. I'm emotionally constipated when it comes to people except my family.

"No my dear. I'll order my maid to bring some Chamomile tea. It will help you to calm your senses. It's also good for insomnia. Would you like to try?"

Oh well,whatever. Another tea wouldn't hurt.

"Alright"

So,what does she want from me?

"Until they bring the tea,let's continue our conversation. My lady,we have seen each but never got s chance to speak properly"

Why can't she get to the point?

"Yes? Oh yeah"

This is fucking awkward!! Why does it feel like meeting my mother in law when I don't even have a fucking husband!

"So,how have you been?",she asked.

I don't really want to continue thus awkward conversation. I don't feel comfortable infront of people like her,I'd rather deal with notorious nasty men and women. Is it because I never had a mom? Nah. Kalisto is already a handful parent for me,he is such a baby sometimes. He is enough.

"I'm doing fine.....your majesty,I'm not trying to offend you but can we get to the point? It's just I need to be somewhere else soon"

I'm not lying though. There is a party in the downtown bar tonight. Our batch knights are gathering there to have a small meet up just to drink and talk.

"Oh my,I'm so sorry. I know you're busy but I needed to talk to you about something. Let me then get to the point",she said with an apologetic look which made me guilty. That's why I hate these type of people,if she was a nasty woman,I wouldn't have felt guilty. "You see,my son Dylan,that little troublemaker had disappeared 4 years ago saying he's going to travel across the kingdom's for god knows why. It's not like I could stop him,he would never listen to me anyways. But now it's been 4 years. Not a letter was sent to me. No one knows where he is"

Of course,your crazy bastard son disappeared like that your majesty.

"But how does that have to do with me?",I asked.

In the mean time,the said tea had arrived and I took a sip. It's not bad.

Queen,"well....I recently tried to investigate about his affairs and relationships with people,so....it seemed like....you were the only one he had been hanging around"

"....what"

I was genuinely flabbergasted.

"You see,because of my duties,I neglected him a lot as a mother. He was never a crown prince in either of the kingdoms he had been growing up,so I couldn't pay much attention to him. As a result,he ended up like that. A drunkard. A playboy. It was my fault. And I couldn't change him. But after meeting you,he seemed to be in his mind a lot"

That's.....that's not it. He is....how am I supposed to say that .....he is not your son. He never changed. Frankly speaking,he was never there to be begin with. Atleast until he met me. The real Dylan,I don't know about him.

"So I thought you must be close friends?"

Friends?

"I guess,we were a bit close? It was nothing really? We just had a little conversation here and there"

Lies,lies

A little conversation? What a fucking lie.

"So I wanted to know if you by any chance know where he is. I can't lose him. Young lady,please tell me if you know anything"

Well,he told me where he is going but I can't just tell her this. Should I just tell her that he went to destroy her previous kingdom? I don't think that's an option here.

"Forgive me your majesty. He never told me about his plans"

And I lied like that and escaped. Not that hard. And now,let's start the real fun!!

"ONE MORE! ONE MORE! ONE MORE!",My colleagues cheered as I gulped down a big ass beer mug in one go. They spilled from the either side of my lips as I kept drinking mug after mug.

"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT SHIT BABE?!",Luca roared from the other side of the long table as he raise a big mega size beer mug challenging me. The bar was filled with us knights and no other customer was allowed. The place was nice and warm with a lot of drinks and food.

"I swear to god Luca,you're going to fucking regret",I said in irritation knowing he is going to get drink soon. And let's say I don't want to deal with his drunken ass.

"BWAHAAHHA LET'S FUCKING SEE IT!",Luca started gulping down immediately.

I can't fucking lose!!

"Bring me a mega mug too!!",I screamed.

From the corner of my eyes,I saw Ruby playing some gamble games with our knights. She is really famous now,thanks to her gamble addiction. I let her off the hook since she enjoys it while earning some bonus money. I heard that she had paid half of her family's debts right now. I'm glad. I could help her to pay off everything but she doesn't want my help,talk about ego.

When I was about to drink my mega beer mug,a hand stopped me. Oh god,I know this hand.

"Stop drinking now. You're getting drunk"

The golden hair and ocean blue eyes,who else. The fucking crown prince. For some rotten luck,he also had decided to join our fun.

"So?who cares?",I shrugged his hand and kept drinking in between the loud cheers.

For real,I think he is right. I'm getting a bit drunk. I've been feeling tipsy for a while but I managed to hide it. But I had too much today thanks to that crazy bastard Luca.

Leo took away my empty mug and placed it on the table. "You still have to go home in two feet Hazel. Will you stop now?"

"Oh come on!!",I whined feeling annoyed and unintentionally pouted.

Leo blinked once as he stared at my mouth.

What,what are you looking bastard?

He sighed taking his eyes away from my lips,"Your face is already red. You're going to get sick,you know!"

"Wha are yo? My mom? Hey!",I poked his chest as I tried to walk but stumbled. Leo was quick enough to catch me in no time. "Wha are you staring at? Lemme go"

I was slurring already. And my head was getting light headed with every passing minute. The alcohol is really taking over me now. I guess,I had too much already.

3RD PERSON POV|(NO ONE'S POV)|

Hazel tried to push Leo away and walk but she was too drunk by now to walk straight. Her cheeks were pinky red and eyes were droopy.

"M' telling yo! Let go! Yo are no ma type!",she slurred.

Leo rolled his eyes,"Yeah yeah I know. You've told me that for million times already",he mumbled.

In the background,Luca was creating chaos as usual and Leo had zero interest.

"Your highness,is lady Hazel alright?",It was Nakamura who happened to past by them. He was looking at Hazel with a blank face but a slight worry lingered on his eyes.

Upon seeing the multicolour haired guy,Hazel's eyes sparkled,"Kazuki!!!"

Nakamura didn't flinch when she addressed him from his first name. Hazel had started using his first name after their knight ceremony as a signature move to show they are close friends now. Kazuki didn't mind since Hazel was worth his time as a both friend and a rival.

"My lady,are you drunk?",Nakamura asked.

Leo,"She is wasted"

"M' alright ~"

Hazel shrugged away Leo's hand and circled her arm around Nakamura's neck before dragging him to another table. Leo sighed and followed them but paused seeing Eva staring at him. He slightly smiled at her but she looked away making him frown.

Meanwhile Luca was also wasted on a side. When he felt enough,he strode towards a corner table and settled down. And there was only one person on that table which happened to be the Jaykar.
