Ah,..I have long forgotten about them.

My past,the past I never turn to look back. Not even in my dreams I wanted to see those horrible people.

Hazel opened her eyes calmly. She just had a dream about her past life. She had long forgotten about her childhood memories. Never she cared about how other people looked at her but it was still impossible for her little mind to not stress over at that time. And when she grew up,she started acting like a wild woman with crazy habits as a cover up for her weak self.

She never wanted to remember it.

"Young lady,are you awake already?"

Hazel looked at her maid and whined a little bit before going back to sleep.

"Lady,you have to wake up early. It's the day you are going to the palace. His grace is waiting for you"

Hazel groaned in annoyance. She terribly hated this trip to the palace. She felt like her skin crawling with the mention of the palace. The very place where the destruction of the Pendragon family lies.

"Are my brothers also going?", Hazel asked peaking out from her bed sheets.

Maria the maid smiled fondly at the cute young lady. "Of course,young masters are getting ready to go too. Even young master Taehyung,he rarely visits the palace"

Hazel lazily jumped out from the bed,"Why is he coming? Doesn't he have work in the magic tower?"

Maria,"It seems like ever since young lady has come to this family, he has a lot of free time to kill"

Hazel felt a nerve popping out from her forehead. The magic bastard was always on his way to irritate her asking her to join his magic experiments. Since he had been suspicious of her soul for a long time,he had been trying to win Hazel's favour ever since then.

"He is annoying", Hazel whined with half opened eyes.

"It's because young master likes you. Just like young master Jimin", Maria said as she was pushing Hazel towards the bathroom.

"My ass —ouch!"

Maria pulled a little hair strand making her stop from cursing. "Young lady,you should stop using that kind of language. Now let me wash you up. We don't have much time"

After washing up,Maria dressed Hazel up. Hazel was satisfied with her looks. Seriously, she looks like a doll,no wonder Jungkook likes to call her 'fluffball'.

Maria was in awe as she escorted Hazel downstairs, "My lady will grow up into a beautiful woman and I can't wait to see. A lot of guys will ask my lady's hand in marriage"

"Of course, I'm beautiful after all", Hazel raised her chin up.

Hazel's pov|

"My beautiful daughter ~"

Kalisto called out as he reached his hands to me. This dude is funny,bipolar man. How can he act cute infront of me but act like a cold jerk infront of his other people.

I took his hand and bowed a little,"Your grace —"

"Call me 'papa' "

For real?! He hasn't given up.

"Uh whatever, papa",I mumbled hoping only I could hear it but fuck! He heard it.

"Prepare a banquet for a whole month!", Kalisto ordered with a dramatic expression.

Luckily Seokjin was able to calm down Kalisto since we had to leave now. I was scared to death thinking this big man might really hold that banquet starting from today. He is so extra.

Somehow after all of that commotion, we managed to go to the palace with our carriages. The ride to Palace wasn't that boring because of Kalisto trying his best to entertain me. He even showed me his sword.

When we finally entered the palace, I felt goosebumps. I hate it here.

"Fluffball, are you scared? If you are scared, hold my hand", Jungkook offered his hand as we were walking in a white pebble street which leaded towards the main palace.

"Why would she be scared? Don't spoil her too much", Jimin said.

Jungkook looked at him blankly, "fuck off dude"

Jimin raised his fist as if he was ready to punch the hell out of Jungkook. Jungkook also got worked up. These two are always at each other's throats.

"How idiotic", Taehyung commented with a smug chuckle.

"Shut it magic bastard", Jungkook was clearly pissed off.

"Oi Taehyung, don't be too cocky because you are a mage. I can look down on you too,you know. You can't even lift a sword", Jimin also showed his disdain.

To be honest, Taehyung had it coming since a long time. He had been too cocky. He really loves to provoke Jungkook and Jimin. Though they hate each other like that in public, their sibling bond is somewhat heart touching because I have read the novel. Jungkook sacrificed his life for Taehyung while Jimin and Taehyung did their best to save Jungkook in the novel. The out of control trio in the family.

"Guys,shut up. We are here", Namjoon said.

Oh right, we are already here. Let's go see that crown Prince bastard who is destined to destroy Hazel's heart. And the villain in my story!

We were leaded to the throne room where the King must be chilling while waiting for us,the super important guests.

The palace walls were all white with red curtains. Even the floor is red. And all those golden status, frames...I want to steal. They would look good in my room.

"The Pendragon family has arrived!", A guard announced our arrival.

Let's get it.

A grand golden door opened revealing the throne room. The walls were white as the outer walls. There were a lot of paintings of Kings around the hall. And red carpet had rolled on the floor and it directly stopped infront of the throne stage. On it,there was a huge grand golden seat and ontop of it obviously was the king. A man in his forties. His eyes were blue like the ocean with a blonde coloured hair. He is handsome but not as much my handsome uncle.

And beside him,there was an empty seat for the Queen but there was no Queen for now. Hehe,yes for now. A queen will definitely come in a few days. I feel like a god who knows the future of this Kingdom. And then,there is another chair on the other side of the King.

And there he is. A ten year old boy with ocean blue eyes and blonde hair. The crown prince Leonidas. Female lead's beloved Leo. Fucker.

But as the male lead,he really has a handsome appearance. A true male lead.

"Hazel",Kalisto whispered as he stood next to me while my brothers stood behind us.

I need to greet now. Holding my gwon,I bowed a little with my knee bent a little,"Greetings to the sun of the Empire his majesty and the star of the kingdom the crown prince,I am Hazel Pendragon"

The king chuckled, "Duke,you never told me your daughter is this much adorable"

Kalisto smirked a little, "Thank you for your compliment for my daughter,your majesty"

"Duke only has sons,I was worried if he'll be able to take care of a daughter. But it seems like that the lady is comfortable around the new family"

Oh how great of you,note the sarcasm.

I smiled,"Papa treats me well and my brothers are good to me too"

Of course, Kalisto is a good person to me. Except for Jimin's bitchiness and Taehyung's cocky behaviour, everything is good with my brothers.

I could feel Kalisto's proud smile. He really likes it when I call him 'papa',huh. Cute.

"I'm glad to hear it. But you must be feeling lonely there since all your brothers are busy with their works"

Why does it matter to you anyways?

I smiled politely, "Not really your majesty, my brothers always spend their time with me"

"You look like you are really fond of your brothers", King said stroking his chin with a smile.

"Of course,your majesty. They are the best"

King,"But Hazel,you are still a kid. You need a playmate at this age. Look,my son is at the same age as you. What do you think of him? Would you like to play with him? Maybe you two would even end up as lovers,haha"

This bastard King,so this is his intention. Getting me to marry his son and make a connection with the Pendragon house! And have the control over our dukedom? How cunning.

Before I could say anything, Jungkook pulled me back behind him,"That won't happen. She neither needs a lover nor a friend"

Yeah! As long as I have this overprotective bastard, I don't have to worry over the fact getting married to that bastard.

"Jungkook, come back", Namjoon tried to pull Jungkook back.

Jungkook was annoyed as he glared at Namjoon. Namjoon just stroked his shoulders, "Calm down"

Hoseok spoke,"Your majesty, please forgive our rudeness but Hazel is still young"

It looks like Hoseok is also against that idea.

King,"What's the big deal? It's common to get married to the crown Prince at a young age. I don't see a problem with engaging them together"

Here comes his true colours.

Seokjin, "Still we don't want Hazel to get engaged at a young age"

Seokjin to my side too!

Actually this marriage would have been open way to spread Pendragon power through the Imperial Palace but also an opening to get a hold of Pendragon family. Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages equally.

But what would be Kalisto's answer?

And most importantly, what is Leo's reaction?

I looked at him. A mixture of emotions. It's hard to read him. He is in his deep thoughts. Fuck you Leonidas. Reject this proposal like a man!

I gasped when I was suddenly picked up by Kalisto. What is he planning? You are not going to sell me off right?

"My apologies but I won't give my daughter to anyone. She is my daughter and will marry the man she loves"

Oh my,Kalisto! You are the best!!

"Papa!", I exclaimed dramatically.

The king seemed to be thinking something. Give up,I won't marry your bastard son.

"Alright, I understood if that is lady Hazel wants. But why not be friends? It's not a big problem, right?what do you think Leo?"

Leo looked at me with disdain in his eyes. But he quickly changed his attitude and smiled,"I'd love to"

Bipolar bitch.

You'd anything to trample my family. Is this your new scheme? Not in my watch. Touch my family, you are dead.

"Hazel,you don't have to if you don't want", Kalisto whispered.

No,we have already rejected King's words once. I can't let Kalisto provoke the King more. I need to keep my family in check before they go overboard. Let's not make more enemies. Specially that crown Prince, the doom.

"It's okay. Let's be friends then",I said.

I'll ignore that bastard later. For now,let's satisfy the king.

"Then,Leo,take the lady Hazel for a walk"
