"Tell me everything you know", Taehyung asked Dylan right after settling the unconscious Hazel in the cottage Pendragon siblings stay. He dragged Dylan out to the woods and started his interrogation with a spell on his hands which was to blast Dylan's head if he lied.

Dylan snickered nervously,"Dude,put your hand down. You're seriously scary now"

"Tell me or I'll kill you",Red eyed man threatened.

"Alright alright!",Dylan showed his palms like he was surrendering.

"Hurry!"

Dylan sighed putting down his hands. "She is from another dimension. She has been in that body even before coming to your home"

"I already can say it dimwit! Tell me something I don't know!",Taehyung hissed feeling irritated and fury. "And you're the one who summoned her to that body,right?"

Dylan pursed his lips at the obvious fact. Of course,he can't lie to this mage. It's pointless to deny it now. Taehyung is way too smart.

Taehyung,"So it's a yes. Hah",he snickered. "So who is she? Why did you do it? Where is the real soul?"

Dylan pondered for a while before deciding to say something. He was unsure whether to tell him the truth or not. "Listen,maybe you should go talk to the person who gave me the deal. Only he can answer to you. It's not my place to talk about this. My only job was to bring her here so I did"

Taehyung gritted his teeth wanting to blast away this bastard who is going around the bush. He forcefully calmed himself down taking a long breath and asked,"So who is he? Who made a deal with you?"

Dylan smirked smugly,"Kalisto. Pendragon"

Dylan groaned remembering the last look on Taehyung's face. He prayed that Kalisto would not come for his ass to send him back to where he came from. It's not like he had a choice against Taehyung Pendragon.

"Hey,you don't have anywhere else to sleep other than trees?"

A voice from down reached his ears. He shifted on the tree branch he was on and looked down to see Hazel. She was wearing white pants with gray long sleeves buttoned shirt with upper buttons undone. The dress shirt was tucked under her pants as usual. And her black boots were dirty showing how hard she has been working.

"Oh my lady! Did you miss me?!"

"Hah! As if. I came here to thank you. I heard you helped Taehyung to settle me. I don't know what happened but thanks"

Dylan smirked down at her,"That's nice to hear from you",his words were so smug as hell but Hazel decided to let him have his way for now. "I heard your brother left all of a sudden"

Hazel's face dropped at the mention of that and an irritated look came over,"That ass left without saying anything. I don't care. That annoying fucker"

"You little liar. You care about him huh?"

Hazel huffed in annoyance. She kept quiet for a while before crossing her arms across the chest and looked away,"Of course he is my brother after all"

Dylan laughed,"Do you want to sit next to me?"

Hazel scowled at this,"Why don't you come down? I always come to you,now it's your turn. Come down", she didn't even know how she ended up having this little silly rivalry over going to the branch and coming down to the ground.

"It feels good to be here,why do you need to be on the ground when you can sleep on the trees. Maybe it won't hurt to sleep on the clouds too"

Hazel,"It will definitely hurt when you fall down. Sky might be your territory but I'm on the ground",she plopped herself under the tree and watched the river with a calm face.

Dylan jumped down from the tree and sat next to her,"Alright. Here I am. Happy?"

"Why would I be happy?"

"Because I'm here?"

Hazel chuckled shaking her head,"Are you flirting?"

"Can't I?"

"No. My papa will kill you"

Dylan shrugged his shoulders and laid on the ground with his hands behind his head. "He is not here"

Hazel heaved a sad sigh at the mention of her father. She really missed him. And her brothers too. "I want to eat something sweet"

The sweetness of cakes remind her of her father Kalisto. Whenever she visits him in his office,he makes sure to prepare a sweet cakes and tea for her. She absolutely loves those cakes and whenever Kalisto refused to give her cakes because of her health,she would run to Namjoon or Seokjin,and they would gladly give her cakes secretly.

Dylan could feel the sadness in her tone as he watched her silently. He felt a tingling feeling in his chest and he absolutely hated it. It was uncomfortable and made him uneasy. A feeling he never felt before. But the urge to do something for her rose up above everything.

"Wanna have a walk around?",He asked.

Hazel was taken back as she looked at him. She needed a distraction now. With Taehyung's ignorance and the pain of her body after the snap,she'd been suffering a bit these days. Painkillers didn't help at all. Her body went large at a certain point and it shrank back to normal which resulted a heavy pain in her body.

"Sure"

And like that,both of them started walking into the deep woods having a normal conversation. Sometimes they walked in silence but Dylan was super annoying enough to break their silence here and there. He would even poke fun at how she had leaves all over her hair while walking through the forest. But because of him,she wasn't bored at all. It was amusing how he could put her at ease every time they meet even though Hazel couldn't trust him.

And they didn't even notice how far they had been come because of their conversation.

"Luca needs a serious ass beating,that little bitch never listens",Hazel complained.

Dylan laughed at this,"That emotionally constipated boy is seriously a pain in the ass"

"Hey don't insult my knight. Only I can do that!"

Dylan smirked,"I can be a better knight"

Hazel,"You wish! Luca is the strongest"

"Ho~though you look like you're annoyed with that brat,you really take care of him without showing it huh?"

Hazel was about to give a snarky comment at this but she had go sick up her own words when a loud gasp left her lips. And suddenly she felt the gravity under her feet,when did she even step on a huge hole on the ground? She didn't even see that and somehow,she is falling into a pit of darkness as she screamed loud as possible as she could.

Dylan widened his eyes when he saw her falling into a hole he did not even see earlier. He was frozen for a moment before registering what just happened. He immediately knelt down on the ground looking into the pit of darkness before screaming,"HAZEL!!!"

He could only hear her screams as she continued to fall. He did not think twice before jumping into the same pit of darkness.

"Did you see,lady Hazel and Prince Dylan had been hanging out a lot"

"Yes,I did! Do you know what I saw today?!"

"What is it?"

"Both of them were heading towards the deep into the woods,alone!!!"

"No way!!! Do you think they are doing something —"

Leo heard his fellow trainees gossiping about Hazel and it really irritated him. And the fact that she had been hanging out with his step brother annoyed him even more. The rumours were spreading wildly and he was sure once everyone went back to their homes,this rumour would spread all over the capital. He didn't like it. The feeling of disdain filled his chest.

He glared at those who were gossiping and made them shut up. The training field was filled with a lot of knights training on their own. Some were group training and he could see his senior knights helping some of his fellow comrades. Eva was next to Noah learning some moves and it amazed him how both of them had somehow similar looks. But he couldn't really focus a lot with the absence of the certain someone. After hearing the gossips, he was sure who she is with and it absolutely did nothing to ease his mind.

He didn't like where his feelings are going. If he involved his feelings,things will get complicated. And it will be hurting Eva. The blonde knew that Eva had some sort of feelings for him and he wasn't disliking it. He liked Eva's company. She was kind and sweet. But the feeling Hazel erupted in him couldn't be compared to anything else. He was scared to admit it.

His eyes caught Luca drinking water with heavy breathing. It was awkward to talk to him after yesterday's silly fight they had but still he went for it.

"Don't you think you're irresponsible as an escorting knight?"

Luca's emerald eyes flickered towards him in annoyance,"The fuck bastard,you wanna fight again?"

"No,I'm just saying. Don't you care about where the lady you're serving is?"

Luca had a sneer on his face not liking the way Leo talking,well he never likes anything. "First of all,I'm not serving anyone. And Hazel,my dear fucking cousin,can protect herself very well. Why the fuck do I have to go everywhere she goes. No one wants anyone sticking up their ass every fucking time"

The vulgar words were really displeasing to hear but Luca had a point. Hazel is not a frail lady who needs protection every damn time and she definitely wouldn't like Luca to interfere with her free wandering time. She is her own person after all.

"....You're way too carefree with your duty though",Still Leo didn't want to back down now. He hated losing a word battle between him and Luca.

"What's there to be alert when she is fucking strong like a beast. Now fuck off. Or else I might start finishing what was left behind yesterday. Hazel is nowhere to stop me anyways",Luca turned around and left towards the peaceful hunting forest. He would rather be alone than bickering with the crown bastard prince.

When he was far enough away,he paused seeing a familiar small male under a tree with a white cute bunny in his hands. He cursed under his breath,fucking great.

Jaykar looked up to see the crimson eyes male infront of him. He again looked at his bunny and looked at Luca again. He suppressed a laugh and it didn't go unnoticed by Luca.

"What are you laughing at bastard?"

Jaykar timidly shook his head,"Nothing. It's just.....this bunny looks like you"

Luca looked at the small creature. It had red beads like eyes with white flur on the other hand Luca also had silver white hair and red eyes. Makes sense. "Are you making fun of me?",Luca raised an eyebrow.

Jaykar was quick to apologise in complete terror,"No no no! I wasn't!! I'm so sorry!! It's just you look cute —NO! I mean this bunny looks cute like you —no no I mean"

"Shut up",Luca said with slightly wide eyes as he was in disbelief. "You wanna die?"

Jaykar looked down hugging the bunny,"I'm sorry",he looked utterly embarrassed.

Luca cleared his throat and looked away. He could feel heat rushing to his ears as they turned a bit red. To change the topic,he spoke again,"Let's eat that thing",he pointed at the rabbit in Jaykar's hands.

Jaykar,"....."

Luca,"What?"

Jaykar immediately  shooed away the little rabbit not wanting the heartless knight to feast on him.

Luca scoffed,"Fuck you"
