"Tada!!!", Jungkook exclaimed happily showing his sister to the fellow knights who were training in the training ground.

Hazel also went along with him as she raised her hands in the air showing her grand entrance.

All the knights paused as they looked at the young master Jungkook entering with a little girl in his arms. They were all surprised to see the rumoured young lady of the Duke house. It was the first time she made an appearance infront of the knights of the manor.

As rumoured said,she was so cute that no one could take their eyes away from the cute lovely child.

"Look at her! She is so cute!"

"How can someone be this cute! Oh my god!"

"Little lady is so lovely!"

Jungkook was satisfied with their reaction. "Everyone is falling for my sister's devious acts", he whispered next to Hazel's ear.

Hazel felt annoyed and wanted to smack this cousin bro of hers. "Let me enjoy, will you?!", she raised her fist.

Hazel looked at the muscular knights and felt like she was in heaven. She had this thought to make a harem out of beautiful men in here. She wouldn't mind having multiple lovers. Her eyes were screaming the dirty thoughts she was having and only Jungkook could see it. "You are such a pervert"

Hazel made a blank face having hit with the truth.

"Oi, what is she doing here?"

Both Jungkook and Hazel turned to where the rude words came from. And there stood the Lord Jimin with his sword blade against his shoulder.

Is he posing? I wish I had a smartphone. Hazel thought to herself seeing the perfect pose of her cousin brother Jimin.

Next to him was the Lord Hoseok with his sword. Both men were soaked in sweat. Seems like they had been training till now.

Hoseok raised his white shirt to wipe the dripping sweat on his face and it somehow revealed his perfect toned body.

Hazel's eyes went wide as she gawked at his abs.

Suddenly Jungkook covered her eyes with a scoff. "I can't believe you"

Hazel tried to look through Jungkook's fingers but instantly regretted when Jungkook flickered her forehead.

"Ouch!"

Jungkook shook his head in disbelief as he looked at his brothers. "I brought her to show our training ground. It's been few weeks since she had been stuck inside the mansion"

"Why bother? She'll leave this manor sooner or later", Jimin spat.

Hoseok, "Jimin"

Jimin rolled his eyes at his warning tone.

Jungkook scowled at him. "Why would she leave? She is our sister now"

Jimin,"Really? What would you do if she is an illegitimate child —"

Hoseok,"Jimin! Watch your words. Let's not talk about it here"

It's not a good thing to show the internal family issues infront of the knights. Rumours might spread. It will only affect the pendragon name.

Jungkook's glare intensified as he stared at Jimin. Of course he understands where Jimin comes from but that doesn't really matter to him. Unlike his brothers, he is not a family type,not a mama's boy. Thus,he didn't care whether Hazel was an illegitimate child or not.

Hazel looked at Jungkook and smacked his cheek slightly snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Teach me how to hold a sword", she distracted him.

Jungkook was a bit taken back but immediately regained his smile back. "Do you want me to teach you?"

Hazel nodded, "Of course! I want to be a knight too!"

Jungkook, "For real?! You want to be a knight?!"

Hoseok sighed as he saw their conversation. He sent a quick glare to Jimin and again looked at Hazel and Jungkook. "Before that,find her an etiquette teacher. She lacks etiquette as a lady"

Jungkook put down Hazel carefully. "Brother Seokjin said he'll find a teacher for her"

Hoseok, "Alright, now Jimin, follow me"

Jimin groaned and whined.

Hazel,"Stop being a petty bitch and go get your scolding!"

Jimin,"You little..."

Hazel smirked and raised her middle finger. Since it was a novel,these people obviously knew the meaning of the middle finger.

Everyone gasped.

Jimin gritted his teeth and showed  his both middle fingers. Hoseok face palmed and dragged Jimin away by his collar.

Jungkook laughed and gave a high five to Hazel.

Hoseok and Jimin entered the armour room,the place where they store their weapons.

Hoseok looked at Jimin with a serious look. "How many times do I have to repeat myself. Stop going berserk when you see her"

"How can stay calm?! She is father's illegitimate child! He cheated on mother!", Jimin had a fair point.

Hoseok sighed rubbing his forehead. "Jimin,we can't be sure if he cheated or not. What if she is not our father's child? We have to wait until father returns from the imperial Palace. He said he'll explain everything after coming back. Till then,we have to be careful around that girl"

"It's clear that she is a Pendragon! She has red eyes like us!"

Hoseok,"Calm down! Let's wait till father comes. Plus,Taehyung said he'll confirm the paternity of that child and father. He went to the magic Tower today"

Jimin was taken back. "Wait for real? He can do it?"

"Of course! As the next master of the magic tower,he atleast should have the ability to do this"

Taehyung Pendragon, the mage of the Duke house. He is not a knight as the rest. A mage with unimaginable amount of mana in his body. Mana is the building until of magic,meaning Taehyung has the potentials to be a great mage.

"Let's wait till he comes back"

Jimin looked out through the window and saw Hazel and Jungkook playing around with other knights. "Guess,he is the only one who is happy about her arrival"

Hoseok also looked at Jungkook through the window. "So strange. He never had any interest in the family matters. What is he seeing in her?"

"Whatever", Jimin mumbled and looked away.

Hazel's pov|

Jungkook Pendragon, the very person who is going to kill the female lead's brother. The novel described how monstrous Jungkook could be when he kills. He is the monster of the Pendragon family. When he gets older,he'll be a royal Knight commander.

Looking at his goofy side now,I can't believe he'll be that monster. He also kidnaps the female lead to punish the male lead.

The novel had no proper explanation at why he becomes like that. The author is a trash can,how can he leave such an important matter?!

Author, your story sucks!

Anyways,I won't let this brat run wild this time. He needs to stay alive for me to live. Or else my neck will be sacrificed to the male lead's blade.

But the novel stated something like he never received parental love or something. When he was born,his mother died,that resulting his father to abandon him to the maids care.

If it is the case,then Jungkook has already been a monster. Then why.....

I looked at him who was spinning his sword to put a show infront of me.

Why is he so goofy around me?

It was the dinner time already. Maids escorted me to the dining table. I could already hear the boys talking about me.

"....So you are saying she is not our father's child? Are you sure?", Jimin's voice reached my ear. Seriously, this boy needs to lower his voice.

"Yes,I'm sure. But I don't know who are her real parents"

It must be Taehyung. The 6th son of the Duke,the mage. In the novel,he becomes the master of the magic tower. Magic tower is the place where they train new mages. Also,the meaning of becoming the master of magic tower means that person is the greatest mage in the kingdom.

Taehyung is still a trainee but in a few years,he'll kill the current master of the magic tower. It was because his position as the next tower master was going to be slipped away because of some other dude. Taehyung clearly was the most powerful mage but imperial family got involved with the magic tower resulting Taehyung's future decision of killing the current master.

It will eventually lead him to the execution later.

Tsk,these bastards are really impulsive.

"Oh,Hazel!", Jungkook exclaimed as soon as he saw me.

Taehyung also looked at me. He was wearing a black robe,the uniform of the mages.

"Hazel,did you hear anything we said?"

I looked at the person who asked me. Lord Seokjin. So he returned from his quick trip to the imperial Palace. The next Duke of the Pendragon family. The ideal husband material man in the novel. As novel described, he really is handsome.

The six brothers were sitting around the dining table,looking at me.

I gave my pearly white smile,"You shouldn't be speaking so loudly brother. This little one's feelings might get hurt hearing such a harsh truth"

As if... ho ho.

It looks like they don't really care if I heard it or not.

"I doubt there is any feeling in you to get hurt", Jimin said.

True though, ha! Lol!

I went ahead and tried to sit on the empty chair next to Seokjin.

Ugh,this old chair is so tall!! I can't sit on it! I struggled to sit on it but I'm too small.

So cruel!

Seokjin smiled and picked me up before placing me on the chair.

Jungkook chuckled across the table and looked at me with his chin on his palm. "Cute"

Seokjin,"So,do you know who are your parents?"

"Nope"

Yes,I do. I mean,only the father. I don't know a shit about my mother.

"Aren't you curious to know who they are?", Taehyung asked.

"Nope"

Not to the slightest.

The boys were a bit taken back,I could see it.

"Why aren't you bothered at all?", Hoseok asked.

"Why does it matter anyways? I don't have anything to do with them after all", I shrugged my shoulders without any particular emotion.

I'm saying the truth. I'm not Hazel,so I don't have any connection with her parents. Even in my real life,I had no parents, so I don't know how to feel about parents. And it really doesn't bother me.

Everyone fell into a silence but breaking the icy silence, Jungkook laughed again. He looked at me in adoration. I don't know what's in his mind but he looks so pleased.

"My sister is really heartless", he said and winked.

He is happy.
