A teenage girl stood infront of the Pendragon house in a plain gown. Her hair was black and short upto her shoulders. With a plain looking face,she was pale as sick with a pair of boring eyes. Guard knights stopped her from entering.

"What's your business here?"

The girl looked at the knight who asked the question,"....I want to meet the grand duke"

"Meet the grand Duke?", the guard looked at her from top to bottom, "This is not a play ground for kids,go home"

The girl sighed,"Call the grand duke"

"Look here kid,his grace is too busy to spare a moment to a useless girl like you,go home"

"What's going on here?"

The guard's body went stiff hearing Kalisto's voice behind him. He immediately turned around and bowed. "My lord,my apologies, this girl was demanding to see you"

Kalisto looked at the girl and raised an eyebrow and looked at the guard again,"Stand back if you don't want to die"

The guard was dumbfounded when Kalisto let the girl enter. She looked at the guard and stuck out her tongue still keeping her resting bitch face. Kalisto walked ahead towards the training grounds.

"I've already informed about your arrival to my daughter. Right now she is training with her new escorting knight. You will have to get along with both of them"

"That depends on the amount you pay for me,my lord", she replied.

Kalisto snickered. He already knew about her obsession over gold and money. Her family is a fallen noble family with a desperate need of money. "You don't need to worry about the payment. I will even add bonuses based on your performance"

Her eyes glistened in desire with the mention of bonus. "I will get along with them"

As soon as they entered the training field,a knife came flying towards the girl. She perfectly caught it and looked at who sent it. Hazel stood there with Luca behind her. Both of them were sweating furiously after a harsh training. Black long boots upto mid thighs,black tight shorts above thighs,loose white shirt,Hazel was in her training outfit. Luca was also wearing his training outfit,black pants, white loose shirt with few buttons opened.

"My bad,it was an accident. It was meant to hit this dude", Hazel pointed at Luca who was behind her.

Luca glared at Hazel's head.

Kalisto, "Alright, come here you too"

Both Luca and Hazel listened to Kalisto and walked over to him.

"Hazel,this is your personal maiden from now on. Her name is Ruby"

The girl bowed to Hazel politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you my lady. I'll be serving you from now on"

Hazel gave a slight nod,"Papa already told me about you. Let's get along then",she looked at Kalisto, "Papa,what about the thing I said a week ago?"

Kalisto groaned in frustration. He had been avoiding Hazel for a week because of that one thing she asked. It was hard to say no to her but he couldn't let her have her way too. "You are still at it?"

"I want to go to winter!", Hazel whined.

Kalisto, "Winter is too far! Plus,after the attack last time,everyone is at the edge! And you were the target! Do you understand what I am trying to say?"

"That's precisely because I want to go! I need to train myself to protect myself. Dude,please! You have to understand my point too!"

"Don't call me 'dude'!. I'm your Papa! And why can't you train here? You literally have the best training here!",Kalisto tried to reason.

Luca scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Fucking stop already! Let me say something old dude,I am going to Winter because I've always gone to knight camps. So don't you fucking dare to stop me going too just because I'm this bitch's escorting fucking knight"

"See? He wants to go too!", Hazel whined. "Please! Opening a hell gate is not that easy. I don't think anyone would be able to open it again for atleast an year. Taehyung said how hard it was to open such a gate"

Luca,"It's common fucking sense that anyone who opened it would be at their fucking sick beds right now,if he is a human atleast"

"Kids,this situation is serious than you think. All nobles have their eyes on Hazel now. It's dangerous for you to go out now,sweetheart", Kalisto tried his best to be a sweet father here hoping she would listen. He was desperate to keep Hazel inside the Pendragon house because of what happened. Who knows what kind of danger awaits out there.

"Don't fucking say we don't understand because we are fucking kids! We understand the danger better than any of you fucking dudes! Because we faced it!", Luca was pissed at Kalisto. Not because he is stopping Hazel but because it affects his trip to Winter too. That was a camp he was looking forward to. If Hazel couldn't go,would he be able to leave?

Kalisto paused a moment and thought about Luca's words. Indeed,Hazel and Luca should know the danger better than anyone. They know the fear of hell better than anyone. But still,he felt paranoid just to let his daughter go that far.

"Papa please! I'll be back soon! I promise to not cause trouble. I just want to train with others. And think about it,if I get stronger,you wouldn't need to worry about my safety,right?"

Kalisto heaved a sigh ruffling Hazel's hair. "Let me think then. I need to speak to your brothers too"

Hazel made a face hearing his words,"Do you really have to ask them?"

"Yes,or else they'll go rampage. But don't expect them to agree so easily", Kalisto warned her.

Hazel nodded vigorously since he is willing to think about the idea. She gave a quick hug to him,"Thank you Papa. Please, just this once,let me go"

Luca was utterly confused seeing this father daughter interaction. He really didn't understand these affectionate stuff at all.

Ruby looked at Luca and spoke,"If you give me ten gold coins,I'll explain their interaction"

Luca looked down at Ruby with a poker face,"....Fuck off"

Ruby,"That would cost another ten gold coins"

"Knock it off you two", Hazel said after sending Kalisto away. "Alright, after two more months,the winter camp is coming. Let's get ready for the camp"

Ruby,"My lady,your father has not still approved"

"Well,he has no choice but to say yes to me. I'm his favourite, after all"

Luca,"Fucking favouritism! I hate it!"

Hazel,"Seriously, what don't you hate anyways?"

Ruby,"He has serious issues with his head"

Hazel,"I know right"

Luca,"Piss off!!"

As Hazel said,Kalisto finally agreed. About her brothers, most of them disagreed. Only Jungkook and Yoongi reluctantly agreed to Hazel's wish while others strongly protested the idea of her going away from the capital. But Kalisto's word was the final saying.

Jungkook's reason was simple. He didn't want to see Hazel sad. While Yoongi's reason was realistic. If an attack happens again,then she should be able to defend herself on her own. Rather than depending on others,he wanted her to deal with it.

Though there are thousands of reasons to not let her go,Yoongi's realistic reason was enough to convince Kalisto. Hazel needs to go out since she already had a debut.

Her application was accepted by the organisers of the camp and the news of her coming to this year's knight camp ran wild around the capital like a wild fire.

Even the two Princes of the kingdom heard this news.

"This year's winter knight camp is going to be hella exciting", was the exact thought of some people.
