"Sir Jungkook, sir Yoongi and sir Taehyung have already woken up. Since they have Pendragon blood,they recovered pretty quickly. Sir Seokjin and Hoseok are dealing with citizens and nobles while sir Jimin is training. Sir Namjoon's guard had sent a message saying he is returning back after hearing what happened here. And lastly, young lady,she is full of spirit again after young Lords woke up. She had been skipping from room to room to check on her brothers and even got kicked out twice by Sir Taehyung which of course was a failed attempt", The butler gave the report to Kalisto who was sitting on his office.

Kalisto was glad that his children are fine and safe but he couldn't be rest assured. Imperial family had been pressuring him down after that attack asking for a report about the attack. He still needs to investigate about it.

"Your grace,this is the report of the people you asked to investigate", The butler gave him a file with two reports of a girl and a boy. Kalisto opened the file and looked at the two profiles. "Sorry to cross the line sire but I don't understand why you chose these two out of all the people to be young lady's maid and knight"

Kalisto smirked as he stared at the reports."No need to worry. They are perfect for the job. A girl from a fallen noble family and —"

A knock on the door interrupted them.

"Your grace,it's me Ivan"

Kalisto's smirk widened,"And the perfect knight for my daughter"

Butler was confused but still he went to open the door. The sight greeted him made him speechless. Beside sir Ivan was his wife with a leash on her hands but at the end of the leash wasn't a pet but her own son who was struggling to get out of her grasp.

"Let me go you old woman!! Fucking let go! I don't want to come here!",The silver haired punk yelled trying to pull the leash.

"Shut the hell up Luca! Don't be a little bitch now! Behave!", his mother smacked him across the head and dragged him inside.

Sir Ivan had a tired expression as he stood infront of Kalisto. "Are you really sure about this decision? You never liked him though"

Kalisto had to rethink about his decision when he saw the young boy who was on the floor throwing a tantrum at his mom.

"Luca you bastard! Get the hell up before I beat your ass!"

"How dare you! Don't touch me you damn woman!"

His mother smacked him again.

Luca,"You bitch! Are you sure you are my mother?!"

"I'm not sure either! I brought you up from a garbage bin!"

Kalisto gave a side glance at the tired Ivan.

Ivan,"Your grace,what's wrong with your bloodline?"

Kalisto, "You decided to fall in love with her. Not my problem"

Luca's mother,cousin of Kalisto, Karla Pendragon. She was a gorgeous woman with a powerful background. A respected lady in the noble society. A true Pendragon with a ferocious personality and it was still a mystery how Ivan managed to fall in love with this woman. Kalisto and his twin brother,Hazel's real father,grew up with Karla when they were young.

"Alright, Luca,listen", Kalisto decided to be serious.

Luca stopped winning and stood up glaring at Kalisto. "What?", He snapped with a little bit of attitude.

Karla smacked him across the head,"I told you to behave! Respect him you little shit!"

"Stop hitting me every damn time you bitch!",Luca snarled at his mother.

Kalisto sighed,"Luca be serious"

Luca,"I'm serious!"

Kalisto went closer to him which startled Luca bug stayed calm when Kalisto removed the leash around his body. "Let me get straight to the point. I want you to be my daughter's escorting knight and her sparring companion"

Luca had a blank face for few painful minutes, " 'Yeah sure' ,you thought I'd say that?"

Kalisto, "I knew you won't agree. But I have few more things to say"

Luca scoffed.

Karla was ready to smack him but Ivan stopped his wife by pulling her away.

Kalisto, "You'll get to do sparring with Jungkook for once a week after recovered and it will be a great experience for your journey to be a holy knight"

Luca paused when he heard it. Sparring with Jungkook, isn't that the greatest opportunity he'd ever have. He straight away aims to be the strongest knight in the Kingdom and sparring with the current strongest knight, if he ever defeat Jungkook, wouldn't that be great? Defeating Jungkook will make him the strongest. And he'll be able to learn a lot from the ultimate king of the field of Knights,Jungkook Pendragon. A tempting offer.

"....still no. I don't want to be an escorting knight"

"Why?", Kalisto asked.

"It's shameful. It's a duty of a normal knight not a holy knight's job!"

Kalisto, "Who told you escorting a lady is shameful. It's the greatest honor a knight could ever have. And to be a holy knight, you need experience. Being an escorting knight is also a great experience"

Luca tsked as he looked away. He clearly hated it. He just wants to be the best and strongest. "Why does she even need a knight when she herself is a knight?"

Kalisto smiled as he turned his back to him. "Hazel is still a lady. And she will have many more occasions to be a lady. So,when that time comes,she needs an escort knight beside her"

Luca still didn't like the idea of becoming her knight. Kalisto's crimson eyes glistened as he spoke again,"Are you sure that you don't want to be her knight? It's fine then. I wanted the strongest person to be my daughter's knight and thought you'd be the best option. I guess I was wrong. Maybe I should ask that Nakamura child to be her —"

"God damn it I will do it!", Luca suddenly fired up. "You got it all wrong old man! I'm the strongest! Not that Nakaburuma bastard!"

Ivan,"It's Nakamura"

Luca,"Nakaruma"

Ivan,"Nakamura"

Luca,"Nukumura??"

Karla,"It's fucking Nakamura!"

Kalisto was really fed up with this family. Just then someone burst opened the door. Hazel stood there wearing her knight uniform. "Papa!—"

Luca,"Shit babe"

Hazel,"Piranha face?"

Kalisto, "What's wrong Hazel?"

Hazel ignored the glaring boy and walked to her father,"Papa,there is a weird looking fucking cat there", she pointed at Luca.

Luca,"Fucking bitch I'll kill you"

Kalisto, "I will never be able to discipline Hazel's foul mouth with this little bastard around her", he mumbled to himself. "Alright Hazel,what brought you here?"

"Oh uhmm I need to talk to you privately. I'll come back later"

"Wait,since you are already here,let me introduce you to your new escorting knight, Luca Harrington"

Hazel looked at Luca with a poker face.

Luca,"What's with that look on your face?! "

Hazel,"It must be a nightmare. Papa,you are not serious about this,are you?"

Kalisto, "Dead serious"

"Kill me now"

Luca screamed,"I will kill you! Like hell I wanted to be your knight! I was forced too,okay?"

"Papa,I don't like this"

Kalisto heaved a tired a sigh. He was scared that these two kids will end up killing each other in the near future. What a mess. "Hazel,your brother Namjoon is on the way home. Go and wait for him. I'll talk to you later,alright sweetheart?"

Hazel gave a slight nod and walked past Luca sticking out her middle finger. Luca gritted his teeth wanting to chase after her but Karla was fast enough to stop him. Before Hazel left,she respectfully bowed at Karla making her smile happily.

"How adorable is she. Now I want a daughter like her", Karla squealed.

Ivan,"You already have a daughter honey"

"I told you she is nuts", Luca said grumpily.

After few words,Karla left with Luca leaving sir Ivan and Kalisto. Ivan was still unsure about this whole escorting knight thing. So he voiced out his thoughts. "Why him? You clearly didn't want him near your daughter"

"I thought like that until recently. But after that attack,I changed my mind. When my daughter was attacked that day,only he stayed beside her. Though he hated her,he still didn't leave her. It was scary to think how strong minded your son is but at the same time,it's reassuring. And I want the best knight beside my daughter. I'm sure they'll fight a lot. But it will only strengthen their relationship as comrades. Luca doesn't have ulterior motives. It's obvious what he thinks and wants. Will there be another best option other than your son to be my precious daughter's knight?"

Hazel was in her room after coming back from Kalisto's office. She stared at the form of application in her hands. It was an application form for the camp of knights which is going to be held in far away city of winter. It's literally the name of that city,winter. Because there are so many mountains there with snow covered in. And she had heard that it's a beautiful city which belonged to the northern territory of the Kingdom.

She had never participated into a knight camp before since she never needed to. Pendragons have the best teachers and even without going to these camps,she could have pulled off. But things are different now. She understood something very serious. If she wants to be strong,she has to be somewhere her family couldn't see. They wouldn't like it if she push herself beyond her limits. It will hurt them to think that she is trying to be strong when she has strong brothers. True they are strong but she is the only one who knows what kind of fate that would be waiting for them if she didn't become their salvation.

"I need papa's approval. Will he let me go? Most importantly, will my brothers let me go after what happened at the spring festival?"

Hazel shook her head vigorously, "No,I must go. No matter what"
