To love and to be loved,one must be very lucky. That being said,love is not easy. You always have to sacrifice something for this thing called love. Love comes with a price and you gotta pay it. And that price has a tag called pain. Only bravest people are able to love sincerely,so don't break the hearts of those brave souls,because they are capable of doing anything for the love they protect so dearly.

The moment Hazel covered Jungkook's body,she knew she has grown attached to her family. Love is blooming in her heart for this gifted family. When she started everything so she could live,she never thought she would be ready to die in the place of her brother.

But the next second was another second.

She opened her eyes and looked back. Someone was infront of her preventing the flames reaching them. The long black hair like the night sky,the broad shoulders, and the tall figure, the person she least expected, prince Dylan.

The blue flames didn't even touch him as he stood infront of them with crossed arms. The hell fire didn't harm him!

The creature seemed to be confused.

Dylan,"Your hell fire will never touch me,hell dog"

"Who are you? How is it that it doesn't affect you?"

Dylan smirked,"Try and guess,you seem to know everything"

Dylan's pov|

Everything is making me pissed right now. When the hell gate was opened,initially I wanted to run away and hide but it made me even pissed. A hell gate,seriously?!

Everything was just fine here! I was finally free and all but this thing happened! All my life,I ran away because I was a coward. I was fine being a coward. If it means I can be free from the clutches of the devil,then I am willing to be a coward and run away. So I did it. I ran away. I came to this kingdom! But it just had be ruined!

Now I'm seriously pissed! Why can't he let me be free?! If I don't do anything now,then he will never stop. You are going to regret it.

I hate humans with a passion but same goes for devils. I literally hate everything! It's been a long time since I felt this kind of hatred. Feels so freshed.

I looked at the hell dog infront of me and smirked,the audacity of this low life scum to stand infront of me! I'll show you what is the real power looks like.

"On.your.knees", My voice vibrated through the air reaching him.

I saw how his pupils dilated as he immediately knelt infront of me. I slowly walked to him with my crossed arms and stood infront of him,looking down at the loyal dog of hell. "How dare an insignificant creature try to ruin my day"

"Y –You are —"

"Did I give permission to talk you hell scum!"

I crouched down a little at his level and grabbed him by his chin,"I'm going to let you live today,go and send him this message for me. 'You will regret if you try to take the soul I brought to this world. From now on,I will not sit back and watch until my everything is taken away from me. If he wants to stay in his seat,tell him to stay farther away from my person' ",I whispered so only he could hear it.

I looked at Taehyung and Kalisto who were in the sky. Taehyung will not hold on for any longer. He did a great job with the most of the work. I grabbed the hell dog from his collar and stood straight before looking back at Hazel who was already looking at me with wide eyes. I winked at her and shushed her with my finger before going up into the sky.

You will be fine now,Hazel. Geez,I didn't want to get involved with you but things are making me helpless.

When the gate was about to close,I threw the hell dog through the slight gap sending him back to hell. Kalisto saw it but not Taehyung as he was going unconscious. I helped them since without Taehyung, both of them have fallen to their deaths. As we landed on the ground where no one was around,I checked Taehyung's pulse.

"Bring him back home. He needs treatments. There are internal bleedings insides his body", I said and got up.

Kalisto was kneeling next to Taehyung with so much guilt in his eyes. Well,not my problem though.

Kalisto, "Thank you. You helped me again"

I snickered, "Of course, without me,you'd have lost your other children too. Specifically your daughter"

Kalisto lowered his head since what he said is true. It was surprising to him that Dylan would help them without even asking him. He is not the type to help.

Dylan turned around,"This will not be the end. Prepare yourself for the consequences of your actions"

"I totally failed!I failed to protect them!I'm....so weak", Nabi cried crouching down with her palms on her face. "Will I...ever be able to protect all of them on my own?"

"You dummy"

Nabi looked up to see real Hazel. She was looking down at her with a warm gaze unlike the first time they saw each other through dreams.

"You look a lot different than the first time I saw you. Where is your crazy mood? Why have you become so gloomy?"

Nabi was dumbfounded when she heard it from her. Without even knowing, she was slowly losing herself. Her spirit, she was losing it. Her motivation, her desire, everything was crumbling down. "Why...am I falling apart? What is happening to me?", She used to be the strongest human wall anyone would face because of her immunity to emotions back in her life. She just realised it since Hazel asked her.

"That's the feeling of fear. Fear of losing your loved ones, Nabi", Hazel explained. "You no longer want to struggle so you could survive, your aim has changed,right?"

Nabi,"....what..."

"From wanting to survive to protect them. You have changed and the emotions are getting to you slowly",Hazel crouched down infront of Nabi and looked at her with a smile,"Isn't this the time to shine brightly,Hazel?"

Nabi looked at her with wide eyes hearing Hazelcalling her by her name.

"Sure you are not strong,right now. You are the weakest in the family, I won't lie. And that's why you have to work for it but you can't do everything alone. Remember it Hazel,don't try to do everything alone"

Hazel slowly opened her eyes to meet a white ceiling. She stared at the ceiling blankly for few minutes before feeling a movement near her right side.

"You are awake?",Jimin spoke groggily as he just woke up from his little nap. A little sigh of relief left his lips when he stared at the now awake sister of his. "I will call brother Jin,wait here"

He slowly got up and left without even letting Hazel speak to him. He seems distanced all of a sudden,not his usual self. Well,you didn't expect him to be all normal after what happened.

Soon Jin came to her room with Jimin followed behind him. Jin sat beside Hazel caressing her hair,"How are you feeling?"

"How are others?", Hazel asked at the same time Jin asked.

Jin smiled slightly, "They are good"

Hazel,"Don't lie. Jungkook and brother Yoongi got hurt because of me. And Taehyung  and papa too. I don't even know what happened to the rest of you", she was getting impatient with the passing seconds. Her heart was squeezing inside painfully with the thought of her family getting hurt.

Jin heaved a sigh knowing he can't lie. Jimin only looked away with an irritated look.

Seokjin, "Jungkook, Yoongi and Taehyung are still unconscious. But don't worry. They are all fine after getting treated. It's only been a day,they'll come around soon"

Hazel clenched her fists,gritting her teeth. She felt responsible for everything. She didn't know such an attack would happen,it wasn't even in the book. Sure she knew about that gate of hell but that was only because Taehyung opened it in the book. But this time,it wasn't Taehyung and he had no reason to open it. So why did it open and who opened it?

And to her frustration and shock,the attack was mean to be for her. To drag her away to the hell. Who is causing this misfortune out of nowhere?

"It's my fault. If only I was strong enough —"

BAM!

Jimin kicked the nearest cabinet and walked away from the room with a pissed off face.

Hazel looked at Seokjin with a questionable look asking what's wrong with him.

Seokjin,"He is frustrated. He was not there to keep you and his brothers safe. Though he was helping others,he was mad at himself for not being there for you guys. And when you said if only you were strong enough, it sent him off the cliff. You have this urge to get strong because he wasn't good enough to protect you,that's what he thinks. And that's how we think. Not only him Hazel.your words just now hit me and him so harshly"

Hazel's pov |

Now I understand, to them,I'm someone who needs protection. They want to protect me. They think I'm needed to be saved no matter what.

I...appreciate it but I don't like it. I know you guys love me but it's my job to keep you all safe. And because of your unconditional love,I may not grow stronger. It will be hindering my way to go to my goal. In your eyes,I'm doing enough,you will never see my weaknesses. To keep me on my comfort zone,you will not let me work harder.

My feet automatically worked on its own as I stepped down from the bed and walked past Seokjin.

"Hazel..."

I walked towards the nearest room which was Taehyung's room. He was on his bed unconscious. I just stood at the door frame and stared at him. "Brother..."

Seokjin was already beside me,looking down at me. "Yeah"

This view,remember it Hazel. Remember this view of your brother. Keep that image in your brain. Don't let your brothers fall into this state ever again. But for them,I need to be the happiest so they will be happy. Smile for them,don't let them worry. And get stronger so they will never have a reason to worry over you.

I looked at Seokjin and tugged on his sleeve,"Thank you...for protecting me"
