Pendragon siblings watched their sister dancing with the new prince with a scowl on their faces. They didn't really like her choice but it's still better than choosing the crown prince,they thought. And they already knew she is into handsome and beautiful men with muscles, so they were not that surprised. It's just why did it have to that good for nothing prince?

"She really doesn't care about the background as long as he is handsome,huh?", Namjoon asked before sipping his wine.

Jimin rolled his eyes with crossed arms,"Of course because she is an idiot"

Jungkook gritted his teeth as he glared at Jimin,"Stop calling her an idiot!"

Jimin,"You basta –ouch!"

Jungkook, "Ah fuck! Brother!"

Both of them got a good smack on the heads from Hoseok who was having enough of their bickering. He glared at them,"Stop messing around you little shits"

Taehyung gave a mocking laugh at Jimin and Jungkook. "It must be nice being idiots"

Both Jimin and Jungkook glared at the cocky Taehyung and said nothing feeling Hoseok's glare on their backs.

Then they saw Hazel leaving the dance floor after bowing the prince. Prince Dylan turned around and looked at Kalisto who was sitting on a high chair with a bored look with a wine glass on his hand. He approached Kalisto and did his greetings before initiating a small conversation.

"Do you think he is asking Hazel's hand in marriage?", Jungkook asked with curious eyes.

Seokjin, "Stop jumping into stupid conclusions. We still don't know about this prince"

Taehyung stoked his chin as he observed Dylan. "How odd,he seems to have a lot of mana in his body"

Yoongi who was bored to death decided to voice out to atleast show he is alive,"What's so odd about? You also have a strong mana flowing in your body"

Jimin looked at Yoongi with wide eyes,"You are alive? I thought you were long dead when I didn't hear your voice"

Yoongi looked at Jimin with a blank face and muttered a small,"Fuck you"

Jimin laughed shaking his head after successfully making him angry.

Taehyung however was too serious to even give his usual snarky comments at Jimin. "No,it's extraordinary. It looks like he is more powerful than me"

Jungkook,"Hah,serve you right, you really thought you are the only mage with extraordinary skills. Take that kill bitch. From now on,you can't be sassy about your smart brain,bleh",he stuck out his tongue making a face.

Taehyung immediately smacked Jungkook and cleared his throat as if he didn't do anything. "Anyways,it's suspicious. We need to keep an eye on him"

"That means he is a dangerous one", Namjoon said.

"He is coming this way", Yoongi muttered as he looked away.

Dylan came infront of them and greeted them with a bow. "Greetings young Lords,I'm prince Dylan"

Seokjin gave his professional plastic smile and greeted back,"We heard of you. It's nice to meet you finally"

"Pleasure is mine", Dylan politely bowed with a hand on his chest.

"It seems like our sister took a liking to you to give away her first dance to you", Jungkook said with a smile but his eyes weren't smiling at all.

Dylan chuckled a bit,"I'm honored then"

"Your highness, how is the new environment? Since you are currently living in a different kingdom,it must be hard", Hoseok asked.

Dylan looked down at at his robes and smiled,"It's a bit difficult to adjust to the new culture but I hope you won't mind me coming here with these kind of robes"

Hoseok smiled waving his hand as a signal he didn't mind at all,"Not at all. I guess you are too comfortable in your previous kingdom dress outfits. It's totally fine here"

Dylan smiled,"Thank you for your understanding. Then,I'll be enjoying the party" ,he nodded slightly receiving nods from the Pendragon men and walked past them. On the way,he accidentally bumped into Taehyung.

Taehyung's legs wobbled a bit feeling a sudden dizziness hitting his head. Jimin was quick to notice and grabbed him.
Taehyung's eyes shrank as he widened them. He shuddered as he gulped hard.

Jimin, "What's up with you?"

Taehyung snapped out,"Uh? Ah nothing", he mumbled and looked back at Dylan who was walking away. To his surprise, Dylan looked back and his little curvy lips didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung.

Hazel stopped infront of the balcony where no one was present and sighed,"You kept following me till here. What is it?"

Leo walked closer to her with a mad expression, "Are you really asking me that?"

"What am I supposed do to then?", Hazel asked as she smiled.

Leo looked away in frustration and again looked at her,"You really ditched me to dance with him? Do you even know who he is?!"

"Prince Dylan, your step brother,the son of the current Queen",Hazel answered unfazed.

"You are supposed to dance with me!", Leo exclaimed as he looked straight at Hazel.

Hazel scoffed with a smirk, "And why is that? Because you are the crown prince? How does that even make sense? It's my party after all,I have the right to choose my partner"

Leo's eyes darkened as he stared down at Hazel. Though they were at the same age,Leo was a lot taller than Hazel. Leo sighed as he calmed down. "Alright, let's forget it. But you really should keep your distance with him. He doesn't seem to be in his right mind at all"

Hazel smiled through her gritted teeth,"Your highness, please refrain from ordering me around when you are in my house"

"Hazel,I'm telling you this for your own good"

"Why?"

"Because....", he paused as he is thinking what to say.

Hazel,"Because?"

They are not friends for sure,how is he gonna explain now. He doesn't even understand why he said that. It's not like they are actual lovers though his father wanted them to get married.

"Because you are not a bad person", Leo mumbled out finally.

Hazel was rooted on her ground not expecting him to say something like that. She had been nothing but rude to him all this time. When did he see her as a good person? She was speechless for a second.

"You're just acting as a bad person because of your family. You don't want to disappoint them,don't you?"

Hazel stared at him with wide eyes. Just how crazy can he get? That's what she thought.

"Your highness, you don't know me", Hazel finally found her voice to speak. She composed herself and smiled,"It seems you are misunderstanding something —"

"I'm not! Hazel,tell me,you don't want your so called family to destroy this kingdom, right? You are not like them", Leo seemed desperate.

This crazy bastard

"Why don't we work together? We can stop them without hurting each other. Marry me,and it will certainly help to stop them —"

Leo stopped talking when Hazel started laughing. She held her stomach and kept laughing. She tilted her head stopping her crazy laughter,"S –Sorry,it's just what you said was too funny"

Leo,"...what"

Hazel smirked, "Marry you? Then what? You are going to put a leash on my family? Are you really asking me to help you to push my family to its destruction?You really got ahead of yourself, your highness. It shows how much you know about me....or maybe you thought I'm dumb? Clearly you are underestimating your enemy too much. Let me make it clear,I. Am. Hazel Pendragon. And I will remain as the lady of this house and protect it"

"You don't understand Hazel,Do you know —"

"There is nothing to understand, your highness. If my family is corrupted,then so am I. My loyalty only lies on this family.No matter how cruel or bad they are,I won't sell them to the likes of yours. And you know what,don't ever call someone 'good' or 'bad'. Good and bad depends on the people's choices. I'm good to people I chose and you are not in that list", Hazel said her point clear and crystal.

Leo seemed to be disappointed as he stared at. "Do you hate me that much?",his voice had a hint of sadness Hazel failed to catch on.

Hazel,"Hate? No. I don't"

Leo slightly widened his eyes.

Hazel,"I don't feel anything towards you. It needs your feelings to hate too but unfortunately I don't feel like wasting my feelings on you"

Leo gritted his teeth hearing her statement. Doesn't he worth her feelings? Why? He felt triggered at this and a feeling of desire to own her rose upon his heart. His insides burnt seeing her rude and empty eyes. It's true and he could say just looking into her eyes that she does not feel anything towards him.

"Marry me Hazel", he again said and this time it was his own will to marry her.

"No"

"It's okay to refuse me for now. We are still kids,we have all the time in the future. I will definitely marry you and it's a promise"

Hazel widened her eyes as she looked at him as if he is mad. "You fucking—", before she could curse,someone interrupted them.

"Now now kids,you guys are still too young to marry",Dylan stood at the entrance of the balcony with a smile. "My little brother, that's not how you propose to a girl"

Leo huffed in frustration and walked away purposely bumping onto Dylan. Dylan raised his eyebrows in amusement and looked at Hazel. "That was intense"

"I feel too much angry now"

Dylan smiled,"Then,do you mind if I take you out?"
