Greed

Greed: the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual

I stood there, staring out at his "gift" to me in horror.

"Sweetie, don't you like your gift? I put a lot of work into it!" he smiled to me as if this was nothing...

I stared out at the masses of dead bodies, bloodied, across his mansion lawn. Grass stained red along with his fangs that peeked out of his mouth, poking at his bottom lip as he looks at me expectantly with his light pink eyes and red hair to match his features that I once fell in love with.

"Why.. how could you do this?" my voice shook with fear as I looked into his glowing eyes.

He smiled to me, enough so I could see his entire mouth stained red with the blood of his victims.

"I though you would like it for your birthday. You always said you loved to paint, and I just brought some supplies for you!" he started cheerfully, obviously not having the heart to care.

"Paint..?? Not with their blood, heosok!! Do you know what you've just done?!"

He stared at me blankly, not understanding my frustration.

"First you lied to me... you said you wouldn't kill a human for your own ecstasy and enjoyment..." I looked into his blank eyes with my dark ones, brimming with tears.

"I'm done Hoseok... I'm not staying here is this is how you'll act." I didn't even take one step before he gripped my neck, pinning me against the doorway.

"You're not leaving me..." he threatened huskily.

"Says who? Why do you intend on forcing me to stay here with you?"

He chuckled devilishly and smirked.

"Because I love you and want you to stay..." he twirled a stand of my hair on his finger, "and sweetie, I always get what I want. I am, after all, the second deadliest sin: Greed."
