"What are you?" I whispered for only him to hear.
  "One of your heroes." he whispers.
  I stare at him like he is the only person in the room.  It feels like he is the only one here and with me now.  It felt like the world around us disappeared.  He looked into my eyes, and locked on with them.  I couldn't take my eyes away from his.  I was gone in his stare.  His eyes changed colors to gold, like in my dream when I fainted.  He felt safe, warm, and like a...
  The gaze broke when we heard deep throat growls, and we both looked at Ocenne and Xeddror.  Their eyes locked on to us and didn't leave.  Lycio must've felt something since he let me go by putting me back on the bed.  He looked back at me with an apologetic smile.  They both kept their eyes on me however.  Their eyes held a sense of possession.
  I quietly say, "I need to go home, it was nice meeting you all."  and I quickly rushed past them, and one of them brushed their arm against mine, and this time it wasn't Lycio.  And it was weird because I had felt the spark with him also.

Walking home near dark can be dangerous, but in this town all you have to worry about is drug dealers and some gangs, but none that can do anything without the cops or them receiving a beating from another gang. Technically, the gangs in this town always fight and then the line of gangs change.
It was a brisk cool Saturday. Nice enough with a jacket and short jeans and converse.
I love walking, and I absolutely love to walk my dog, Mosey Posey. That dog is really fat but absolutely loves to walk. She's one piece of a home I would want to build with and many others. The walk home is always depressing because of my parents fighting and such. I hate fighting and I hate violence.
    I stop at the front door of the house I live in.  It seems empty, and so I open up the door.  I found no one home, except for my Mosey.  She runs up to me and start to like me and jump on me.  She looks like she hasn't eaten in days, which seems weird since my mother always fed her when I'm usually staying at the library, but she starts to whimper and goes into my parents room, and so, I follow her.
  Their room was dark with a very weird stench.  Like rotting meat. I walk to where the light would be and turn it on trying not to stumble on anything, and what I see will always haunt my mind.  My parents are dead with their throats slit.

  A FEW HOURS LATER

  Piper holds me tight as I try not to break down.  And Mosey also keeps me company.  Piper said I could still live with her at the library until I found somewhere to go, which probably won't be for a while.  Before she came here, she was telling me about with Ocenne, Xeddror, and Lycio were talking about.

Third Person POV - few hours before

They started to talk about how Piper and Zahra would live.  They offered them a house, and Piper couldn't decline, even though Piper hasn't mentioned anything to Zahra yet, she thought she'd be happy, a little maybe.
  Ocenne says, "We will provide youwith a house nearby along with upgraded salaries and everything you will need.  You both will have keys to the library, and there will be security to help with intruders and such always at the front door and back door of the library." Piper nodded in agreement, but didn't think of what Zahra may think about it.  She wasn't too happy at her house or school anymore.  She remembered when the girl use to be so happy and cheerful. 
  The library phone rings.
  "I'll grab the phone for you," says Xeddror. Piper nodds.
  Xeddror leaves the room and Piper asks an odd question, "Do you know why Zahra had fainted earlier when you showed your heads into the library?"
  "I guess she wasn't expecting us, or to say that we were taking the library." says Ocenne.
  Xeddror comes running in and says, "Piper's parents have been found dead and Zahra is in shock."
  Everyone hurries out of the room and drives towards Zahra.

A Few Hours Later
***********
  I couldn't stop the shaking either.  Xeddror, Ocenne, and Lycio were here too.  I have no idea why they came, but they did.  I felt the tug again. 
  They were whispering among  themselves.  I wondered what they were talking about.  I walk out of Piper's arms and walk to the three.  They immediately look at me.
  "We're sorry for your loss,' says Xeddror.  They all nodd in agreement. I nodd, afraid to speak. 
  Lycio walks up to me and hugs me.  The sparks came flying again, but fell short when he let go.  He felt warm and cozy.
  Xeddror does the same, and the weird thing is and hugs me, I felt the same spark with Lycio.  He feels warms and a little rough, but still comforting.
  Lastly, Ocenne walks up to me and gives me a hug.  I felt another sprak, but he felt warm but with a cool touch to him. 
  He did the unexpected and kissed my forehead.  That sent a blush to my face and I felt complete, like the sparks were shooting everywhere and I started to feel warm everywhere.
  He smiled at me and let me go. The other two looked at him with a death glare like he just committed a crime.
  Is it bad that I had forgotten why I was sad?

I will try to post on weekends, maybe small updates, but I use my school's computer to write these chapters and I will not have access to them, but I will try to use my computer at home!!!
