ZADIMUS P.O.V.

"You're the only one to show me such kindness.." I say as my little baby girl falls asleep in my arms.  It felt like a million thoughts were running through my mind.  I kiss her forehead, and even though Aeden stole her first kiss, which pissed all the rest off, I'm glad I have the chance to spend time with her in my arms.  Her beautiful blonde hair flared out, and her lips being so plum and red.  Her little snores make my heart flutter, even though I am not alive.  

Vampires do not sleep because we don't need the rest.  

I need to finalize papers for the trade tomorrow with the faeries.  Their dust for our blood for their people to survive.  I think I'll take my baby girl with me and let her sleep in my bed so I can protect her.  The others will be on a murderous rage after all of this because she cannot lie to them or me, for that matter.  

I gently uncover myself and stand up and go on her side.  She squirms in her sleep.  I pick her up gently so I don't wake her up.  I smile gently at her and kiss her forehead.  If only she knew everything I have done in my past.  It would make her hate me, us, for that matter.  One day we all shall tell her our Sin.

I walk out her of her, and rush to the outside without waking the others, which was impossible.  Their guards notice me, and alert them.  'I must arrive at my mansion quickly.'  Only the creature who lives in their mansion, only their race can walk in.  Zahra has complete access to our mansions.

I arrive at the gates to my mansion.  I turn around with my baby in my hands and see the others, their eyes glowing bright as their colors.

I chuckle lowly not to wake up Zahra.  I smirk, and walk into the gates of my mansion while the others chase me to come in.

I walk up to my bedroom, and lie Zahra down on my bed and cover her up.   She is the light of my life.  I couldn't live without her. Well, I'm not living, but you know what I mean.  I walk into my office that is connected to the room, and leave the door open to watch Zahra, to make sure she's still sleeping.

A guard comes in abruptly,.

"What do you want, soldier?" I ask angrily.

"Sir, they are trying to breach the walls!" he says loudly.

"Keep your voice down boy, if she wakes, it will be your head." I say growling.

I look back to her and she's still sleeping.

"I will go down and deal with this." he nods, and gulps.

I stand up and walk down the stairs.  I can hear their yells and growls.  I open the front doors and stand on the side which they cannot grab me and try to kill me.  

"What do you want?"  I ask with a smirk.  

"GIVE ZAHRA TO US," says Ocenne.

"THIS WAS NOT THE DEAL, ZADIMUS," Xeddor says.

"She asked me to sleep with her," I say with a grin.

They stop and wait for another response from me.

"She was having a nightmare and came to me because I was walking around the palace." I say with a bigger grin.

"I don't believe this," says Aeden.

"Neither do I," says Raziel and Lycio.

I hear little foot steps coming down the stairs, and they do also because she stands there at the bottom and rubbing her eyes while staring at us.

"What's all the yelling about?" she asks with her sleepy voice and we all go weak in the knees. 

"Why are you in Zadimus' mansion, Zahra?" asks Raziel.

"I don't know," she yawns, " I guess I woke up here."

She walks up to all of us, but turns to me and cuddles up to me, and I pick her up, and she falls back asleep.  They growl lowly because they are jealous.  

They all walk off in a huff, and I smirk a winning smirk.   

But with her in my arms, I feel afraid for her because of what she is to become.
