Leo (wont be doin Franks PoV unless its recomended)

I stared at the chalkboard. The letters swam acrossed it, letting me know my dyslexia was acting up. I looked over at Calypso, who was looking at Her notes in confusion.

I tapped her shoulder "Im guessing you don't have any idea what that stuff means either?" I pondered.

"No! I do!" she defended.

"Then why do you look so confused?"

"The equation doesn't make sense-"

"She's right. The equation gets a decimal as an answer instead of a whole number likes its suppose to," Annabeth butted in.

"Does it matter?" Percy asked.

"Yes!" Annabeth and Calypso chorused.

"Well... I don't care about math so-" I started.

"Leo Valdez! You will care or Im not kissing you tonight!" Calypso growled.

"I very much care!" I yelled.

The teacher looked at me sternly and I covered my mouth. I heard Percy and Annabeth chuckle, and I turned to glare at them.

"Alright class! Have you solved the equation?" Ms.Lughton asked the class.

Annabeth and Calypso's hands went up "67.5795!" they both answered.

"It's not a decimal!" someone shouted.

"Actually it is Mr.Nelzun. They figured out he answer without any help by me," the teacher noted. "Class dismissed,"

I ran out of the class dragging Calypso behind me. Then I saw her. Dark blue eyes and a menacing smile. Her dark hair was braided over her shoulder.
Apparently she saw me too, 'cause she grinned and walked towards me.

"Leo Valdez! Scrawny, ADHD freak!" she said.

"Miria," I responded.

"Oh you scared?" Miria feigned shock "I thought you be over that stupid fear of me by now," she said crossing her arms.

I saw Percy and Annabeth walk out of the classroom laughing. The smile melted off of PPercy's face when he saw Miria. I just shook my head at him. He narrowed his eyes but stayed where he was.

"Oh, come on Valdez! You still obsessed with fire?" she commented.

I stopped breathing suddenly seeing everything that happened that night. I stumbled, holding back tears.

"Yeah you still feel guilty about killing her! Well, you should! She was your mother Valdez-" she was cut off by Percy.

"Lay off, Clauton!" he said barely keeping his voice below a yell.

Fear flashe in Mirias eyes but it was gone quickly "Oh your seriously defending the guy who murdere his mother?" she asked.

"How did you even know about his mother?" Calypso questioned.

"Well, for one I was his best friend in a foster home before he did this!" she said pullin up her sleeve. I looked away knowing what was there.

I had burned her when I was nine. It was a BAD burn too. She went to the hospital for major burns. Thats when I took the cue to run. Again.

I looked back at my friends faces. There was a mixture of shock, sadness, and unfortunately, slight amounts o disgust.

I turned and ran. I blinked the tears out if my eyes and kept running. I ran for what seemed like forever. I finally leaned against a tree, about a while away from school, and shrank to the ground.

I pulled my knees to my chest and cried. I didn stop until I heard Nico "Dont torture yourself like I did. I mean what good did it do me?"

"I killed my own mother!" I yelled.

"I rejected my sister and she died not knowing if I accepted her!"

I stared at him. "I thought you blamed Percy, not yourself."

"I blamed Percy because I needed a cover-up for how I really felt," Hw stared into the woods.

"You like Percy?"

"I used to! Key-word: used to," he whined.

"But-"

"Jason thought I still liked him too,"

"Jason knew!?" I cried.

"Yeah before anyone except... Bianca,"

"Your sister?" I questioned.

He just nodded and looked at me. "Lets get you back to school,". Before I could object, he grabbed my hand and darkness surrounded us.

When everything came back into view I was alone. Nico was no where to be seen.

Then somebody hugged me fiercely. I looked down to see a crying Calypso.

"You scared me!" she cried into my shoulder.

"Hey," I whispered "Its okay-"

"No it's not! She was wrong! You wouldn't do that to her!" she cried.

"But I did, Caly." I whispered.

She looked at me. Next thing I knew she was holding onto the collar of my shirt, kissing me.

It got heated, until someone cleare there throat. It was a grinning Percy, who was holding hands with Annabeth.

"Me and Annabeth don't even do that, and we've been datin the longest," he commented.

I grinned, holding Calypso close.
