You all made the long tiresome journey to cross different worlds, combining both Yoongi's connections and Namjoon's knowledge to get everyone there.

"You know if you guys weren't here I could have been at Chrysalis already..." Yoongi muttered under his breath while kicking a stone off the path and you rolled your eyes. -someone was a little cranky from actually walking more this week than he had in years.

Hobi sent him a smug look. "...right and you would have just waltzed right in without the rest of us because you're that powerful?" he pointed out with a laugh as he imagined Yoongi walk in as if he owned the entire prison.

Jin smiled kindly. "You would've been killed if you went alone anyways...even we immortals have that one weakness!" he chirped up brightly and bit into his snack.

Yoongi eyed them all warily and for the sake of his sanity, wisely kept his mouth shut afterwards.

Throughout the long days of travel, Jin's premonitive ability came in handy, especially when you needed to make sure that none of you were caught off guard in the more unfamiliar areas.

Every night Chim would also scout at the top vantage point with his quirk and Taehyung was always in charge of 'convincing' people to let you guys stay at some of the inns that you'd see on the more travelled paths.

Hobi was still hesitant around you but had warmed up considerably and, despite being told that the 6 had never really worked together in the past, they were now getting along pretty well.

There were times you felt useless, but that was a given considering how much you could do without the advantage the others had.

But, there were also days where your ability to get people to warm up to you had come in handy as well -especially since the guys were a bit behind on their people skills; Tae didn't count because he went 180 when things didn't go his way.

Thus despite the initial stage of awkwardness with how everyone was supposed to handle each other, you all had fallen into a comfortable routine. You also never expected them to have such a unique bond but even more so you never knew you would unknowingly become a part of it.

It made you understand a bit more of how desperate they were to make a better life for themselves.

Tonight you all were camping outside since there hadn't been any sign of life in the last day or so. The fire crackled loudly as it lay in the center of the camp, leaving a warm glow on the skin's of the people it kissed.

Everyone was off in their own thoughts and you gazed at the stars shining above you, the same stars that connected worlds beyond your knowledge. These last couple days had been surreal and it made you think about how insignificant you were in the world -no, worlds- you were in.

Today you had thought about what would happen after you all rescued Kook.

What were you going to do after everything was over? Go back to pretending like none of this existed and try to have a normal life with Kook? Would you even see the others ever again after this?

Who knew...but if there was one thing that had been bothering you the most since you started this hunt; it was what your dream was.

Before Kook had come into your life you had been envious of the people around you, never satisfied with how you were as a person -you always wanted to be better...to be someone else.

But then he came in and had given you purpose and when the two of you had finally started believing that things would be okay, he went and sacrificed himself for you. It hurt in the most inexplicable way and the more you thought about it, the angrier you became.

Why you? What did he see in you that was worth more than his life?

You didn't see it.

He didn't hesitate, not even for a moment, when he was taken away and
you even saw resignation in his eyes; like he believed he deserved it...

You clenched your fist.

Why did he think you were worth losing his freedom over when you couldn't even bring yourself to be happy with who you were...

You weren't worth it, not for a man who was so selfless; you didn't believe for a moment that he didn't deserve redemption -everyone here did.

You weren't a good person and you had accepted that; you weren't even special and yet Kook still chose you.

Maybe he would say that you were the first person who had truly seen him; but you could say the same. Kook was the first person who saw you and gave you a second chance; he made you feel like maybe you could be a better person.

Even with him gone you felt the same way. You were learning more about yourself with the 6 others and you decided that if they could pick themselves up from their lowest points and still strive for better, then so could you.

You could be a better person...not for someone else, not even for Kook, but for yourself.

Only then would you accept that you deserve him.

That was your promise.

"We should be there tomorrow..." Joon spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence around you as well as your thoughts.

You tore your gaze away from the sky and shifted so that you were facing them all now.

Taehyung sighed as he rolled his lollipop against his teeth, making loud clacking noises. "The day we've all been preparing for is here..." he mumbled with a boyish grin and Chim landed on his makeshift sleeping bag with a soft 'plop' as he tucked his arms behind his head comfortably.

He grinned brightly. "A new life..." he added on wistfully and the others smiled at the thought of it.

Freedom.

But the lingering feeling of doubt wasn't lost tonight and you could see it in the way Chim's smile looked more strained; how Tae made an effort to piss everyone off more than usual so that he could relieve the tension; how Yoongi was more reclusive than he normally was; Joon was more meticulous about every move you made -making sure nothing went wrong in the slightest; even Jin cracked less jokes than he usually did. And Hobi...he couldn't get his usual bubbly personality on a roll.

Because the reality was, everyone was thinking the same thing.

What if we failed?

But this was where you came in and showed them something only you could: a sense of what life could be like when they did win.

You abruptly sat up and waited until everyone's attention was on you and then smiled nostalgically.

"Let me tell you a story of my childhood..." you started, waving your hands around dramatically and you carefully watched as each of them became enraptured in your tale.

You could give them this.

The night passed quickly and after one last day of travelling, you had arrived.

Immediately, the tension rose and everyone took deep cautious breaths. The daunting grounds held an aura that had you shaking under it's killing intent but you straightened your back and slapped your cheeks lightly.

Hobi watched you with interest. "...it's not too late to back out" he mumbled in concern and you paused before shooting him a feral grin -that was exactly what you needed to hear to strengthen your resolve.

"I could say the same to you Hobi" you shot back and heard him snort under his breath.

"You ready?" Joon asked quietly but no one answered him back.

Jin suddenly snorted. "Is it really going to make a difference if we are?" he asked and Joon pondered on that for a moment before bringing up a wry smile.

"Probably not" he mumbled and Yoongi nodded in agreement.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's do this" Tae chirped up excitedly as his eyes flashed with determination.

Chim nodded while pulling out his copy of the blueprint that everyone else had as well, and then you were off.

Kook's eyes snapped open and even in the dark cell he sensed something strange. He peered around him, albeit with difficulty due to his restraints and squinted as he focused on what was happening outside of his sight.

He took in a careful breath and pushed his powers to the limits, reaching into the minds of the guards outside his usual distance.

"...breach in security...check...probably an error..."

Kook released his quirk, panting heavily due to the amount of concentration he had put into that move and then blinked rapidly.

Something was happening on the outside and he didn't know what it was but this was the chance he needed.

It was now or never.

With that in mind he turned to his guard with a cheeky smirk. "Hey dickwad, your punches have been getting weaker lately don't you think?" he shouted loudly and inwardly grinned when the guard stomped his way.

"Thank you for giving me a girlfriend who has a foul mouth..." he thought cheerfully as the first hit came towards him.

The keys glistened temptingly and he smiled.

All he needed were his hands back then his flames could wreck havoc.

Only the soft patter of your footsteps indicated that the Seven of you had broken in. From here on, things would get difficult.

You recalled Yoongi's words.

"From what my sources have told me, there are three levels we have to get through before we reach where Jungkook is supposedly held at. I don't know what each level holds, but if we combine all our quirks and flames, I don't doubt that we'll easily get through"

That meant that splitting up was not an option here and you snapped out of your thoughts when someone approached.

The guard looked startled to see the seven of you and immediately reached for a device but Hobi quickly stepped forward and when the man looked him straight in the eyes, he froze.

Hobi didn't move for a moment and then he finally broke his gaze away. "Leave" he uttered and as if a spell was broken, the man sluggishly moved on, disappearing around the corner with no other words.

You looked at Hobi in surprise; he had tried to use his quirk on you the first time you had met but it hadn't worked and he hadn't really used it around you since, until just now.

"Did you just?..." you trailed off and he nodded, flashing you a quick smile before it disappeared. "Yeah. He won't remember a thing. Now let's keep moving" he muttered while walking off.

You followed but you couldn't help but look back to where the man disappeared in silent awe.

"You'd think after all this time you'd learn your place" Kook's guard spat out annoyedly as he took his seat without looking up from his paper.

Only silence answered him back and he smiled. "It's about time the boy shut up" he thought smugly.

And then he heard it, the sound of chains dropping to the floor with an echoing clatter. His eyes widened and instinctively he reached for the set of keys he always kept on him only to find it missing.

He turned to Kook who had chuckled loudly.

The keys twirled teasingly around Kook's unbound hand. "Looking for this?" he asked with a smile. His hands alit with flames and then with a speed that the naked eye would have missed, he lashed forward.

The guard never knew what hit him.

You broke out into a sweat now. There were steadily more people blocking the path and each member was fighting their own battle. Unlike them, you didn't have any noticeable skills but luckily Joon had you covered.

"Take this and use it when we won't be around to support you" he said and you palmed the items in your grip. There were various of jars full of different liquids and your eyes widened with understanding.

He nodded. "These are our liquefied flames. Use them only when you have no other options and you'll be able to use our quirks and flames in a short period of time okay?" he explained and you nodded.

That had been before you all had broken in.

Without warning a large claw swooped over you and immediately you popped the cap off a bottle and swallowed the blue liquid in one shot.

Suddenly you were standing somewhere else and you froze. "Holy shit. It worked..." you mused.

You flinched in surprise when you heard Yoongi shout out at you. "Oi! Snap out of it! Now's not the time to be impressed! Move!" he ordered while dodging another man and wrapping his hand around that person's neck.

You watched your hands glow blue and you swallowed nervously. There was no room for hesitation...These people wouldn't hesitate to kill you and everyone else was busy so you gritted your teeth and reached for the person nearest to you.

Eventually the number of people died down and your chest now heaved heavily as you tried to suck in some air.

The others were doing better, if only slightly, and you surveyed the room; there were over 50 bodies strewn around and you hurriedly looked away.

You did what you had to do and the others called out to you, pointing to the other side. "We need to keep going" Chim muttered and you briskly nodded.

All of a sudden there was a sound of someone clapping and you tensed.

You saw a man saunter in confidently and at once you knew he was of a different level from the others. His aura was dark and it was so potent that you almost choked.

One of his eyes were red and the other was blue but both were glinting wickedly.

"Oh? Am I seeing things clearly? Is that really you 지민선배님 (Jimin-sunbaenim?)" He asked slyly, but you heard the jibe in the way he emphasized the word sunbaenim. There was a concealed amount of hate layered under it but that didn't seem to faze Chim at all.

He sighed. "You must be more disappointing than I remember if your work was shitty enough to be transferred down here 현우 (Hyeonwoo)" Chim pointed out tauntingly and the man snarled.

Jin leaned down to you when you gave him a questioning look. "He worked under Jimin before and was initially the one who was supposed to become Pride..." he whispered and you frowned.

So even they had their own hierarchy system...

Almost instantly, the man's hands glowed a dark grey and your eyes widened.

You don't know why but you instinctively jumped in front of Jimin and stood protectively before him, just as the man tapped his hand on your chest.

Whatever that was supposed to do made you worry had it hit Jimin instead.

Chim looked at you in alarm and gasped but quickly recovered and shoved you away. "You idiot! What if his flames actually hurt you!" he hissed and you glared back at him. "If he touched you it would have been worse!" you shot back and Chim opened his mouth to argue but Hyeonwoo grinned.

"Oh? The girl didn't die...I'll bite. What kind of toy have you brought for me to play with?" he asked while leering at you in a way that had you shivering in disgust.

Taehyung shoved you behind him smoothly and laughed lightheartedly. "That's none of your business you little shit" he said calmly with a smile that said otherwise and then he turned to you with a serious look.

"Get out of here. Chim and I will handle this" he said while shooing you off.

You faltered. "We're not supposed to split up though!" you argued but Yoongi quickly grabbed you and nodded to the other two. "Don't take too long" he muttered and Chim scoffed.

"Who do you think we are Yoongi" he muttered back with a roll of his eyes.

You struggled in Yoongi's grip but his hold on you was firm and the other three tugged you away. "Dammit! You finish this and catch up soon!" You shouted with a growl and the two men nodded easily.

"Yeah yeah, we'll see you in a bit" Tae said dismissively.

That was the last thing you heard before you were dragged away.

"Such confidence from you two..." Hyeonwoo said with a sigh while cracking his neck. "Oh well...I don't mind. I've been waiting for this day for a long time, Pride" he said with a sneer and Chim ignored him while throwing Tae a look.

"You didn't tell her?" he asked with a slight frown and Tae chuckled. "Don't give me that look, you didn't say anything either" he answered back.

Something flashed forward and immediately the two dived out of the way. "The fuck? Didn't you see us talking?" Chim swore in annoyance and when the dust settled another figure stepped forward.

Hyeonwoo snarled. "You two have always been the same...You never once took me seriously but now I'll show you the difference in our powers..You didn't think I was stupid enough to come here alone though did you?" he asked and then the second man dove straight for Tae.

"It seems like I won't be sitting this one out..." he thought with a scowl and his hand flared a deep red.

Chim narrowed his eyes and his wings stretched out. "...If it's a serious fight you want, then I'll give it to you. It's been a long time since I allowed myself to go all out..." he muttered with a sharp smile.

Everything moved quickly after that.

"Dammit you said...you guys said we wouldn't split up!" you screamed while gritting your teeth and Joon sighed but didn't stop running.

"Trust them those two can handle it. We still have more to deal with and the more time we waste, the less chances we have of getting Envy out of here..." he mumbled and then entered the next floor. They were going deeper and deeper in Chrysalis and now was not the time to lose sight of their objective.

A sword whooshed straight towards Yoongi with no warning but before it touched him he disappeared and materializing right next to you. The sword imbedded itself in the wall where he had been standing next to and he scowled.

A shadow stepped forward. "Ohoho~ so it's true...He said you all would be coming for Envy eventually but I didn't believe him..." an ominous voice spoke while stepping out of the shadows.

The woman was starkingly beautiful and she easily pulled her sword back out.

"Who the hell are you?" Hobi spat out with a frown and the woman laughed but ignored him.

"...Since you all decided to go against 주인님 (Master's) punishment, I'll be here to teach you a lesson~" she said with a feral smile.

You froze. "주인님?" you thought in shock but Yoongi sighed boredly while shooting you a look.

"What are you still doing here. Shoo. You're going to get in the way" he said blandly and you blinked owlishly before scowling.

"You asshole! Now's not the time for your 'I don't give a shit, I don't give a fuck' attitude! We already left Chim and Tae behind!" You screamed incredulously but that was a mistake because the woman's attention shifted to you.

She grinned maniacally as she unexpectedly appeared before you and her sword came down swiftly. It all happened in a matter of seconds and you knew you wouldn't be able to get out of the way quick enough.

"Fu-" you thought with dread but before the hit landed, a number of things happened at the same time.

Hobi's glowing fist went straight for her face, Joon grabbed you and pulled you his way and Jin's inflamed hand wrapped around the sword; you saw the sharp metal slowly disappear -his flames had...eaten the sword?

The woman skidded backwards before Hobi's hit landed though.

Her triumph was short lived because Yoongi then appeared behind her and before she could react, he kicked her roughly with no restraint, making her land roughly on the wall; it crumbled under the impact and more importantly...

It bought him some time.

He gave you a sharp look. "Girl, go. We'll be fine..." he muttered and you blanched. "I'm not stupid! You know I can't do that! We're supposed to reach the end of this together!" you screamed desperately because you knew that this woman was no joke. If you left now he wouldn't make it.

He shot you a small smile which disappeared as quickly as it came -he only did that when he was about to do something you hated- and then ruffled his hair irritatedly.

"Tch I guess there's no hiding it anymore...Y/N" he said with a sigh and you frowned.

"We all knew that this plan was suicidal at best and that we weren't going to make it out of here but all 6 of us just wanted to try doing something for the sake of someone else for once and not just for ourselves. So give us that much and go save Envy's ass. You two need to make it out or else I'll personally kill you myself" he finished and his focus went back to the woman who was slowly getting up.

You stood still in disbelief and his words knocked the breath out of you as if you had been sucker punched.

This whole time...they all...they were all doing this...for you?

Then Chim and Tae...they weren't planning to catch up to you at all...

That also means they never once intended on leaving this life?

But w-why?

The tears came before you could stop it.

A Couple of Days Ago

"...You guys know this won't work right?" Chim said with a chuckle after you had left to take a bath and the others sighed.

Taehyung shrugged. "Come on. Who do you take us for? This is suicide but I'm sick of doing what that ass wants anyways...at least with this we actually have a choice" he responded and Joon smirked.

"Ahh. You guys are really lame..." he muttered and Jin elbowed him lightly. "Tch. Looks who's talking. You were the one that made Y/N believe that this would actually be successful..." he retorted and Joon raised one brow.

"...and it will be, but only for her and Envy" he added on making Hobi nod with a grin. "This is actually quite refreshing...using our powers not for punishing but to save someone else..." he mused and the others chuckled at the irony of it too but Chim cut them off with a remorseful sigh.

"...She's going to kill us when she finds out though" he muttered guiltily.

Now

Hobi patted you on the head softly and you glared at him through your tears.

He pouted sheepishly. "Aw come on Y/N, don't give me that look. We're thankful, honestly...You've given us the chance to prove that we're not actually bound to our sins forever...and I take it all back; you're not so weak after all..." he said in finality with a grin, making you sob even harder.

He gave you one last look and then turned to Joon who nodded before Hobi could say anything. "Yeah we'll take her there safely...Try to draw this out as long as you can" he requested and Hobi snorted.

"Psh. If we're going down, there's no way I'm dying without going all out" he retorted with a feral grin.

Jin tugged you lightly. "N-NO!" you screamed, struggling in his grasp and he pulled you roughly to him.

"Snap out of it! Don't waste the four of their sacrifices, Y/N. This was a decision we fully committed to even when knowing the consequences so don't dishonor that by throwing it all away now" he hissed and you gritted your teeth in pain.

You gave the two of them one last look and bit your lip. "Dammit..." you whispered and then reluctantly you made the hardest decision of your life.

You left and didn't look back.

"....this is the first time we're working together huh, Yoon?" Hobi mused with an amused look and his flames burned passionately.

Yoongi scoffed with a roll of his eyes. "Don't make me regret it Hobi..."

And then he became serious -all signs of his usual lazy posture had disappeared as his flames grew hotter. "Let's show her what happens when we're actually motivated..." he mumbled and then shot forward.

This is our freedom

"Look at you, lying pathetically on the ground like that...Growing a conscience made you weak Jimin. That's why you'll lose to me" Hyeonwoo said with a jeer and kicked Jimin even harder.

Chim hacked up blood but smirked regardless. "...I-I'm pretty sure your underhanded tactics and backup is the only reason for that..." he retorted weakly with a smug look and it made Hyeonwoo growl.

He couldn't stand that look on Jimin's face. He was the one that was bloody and beaten and yet he still looked at Hyeonwoo as if he was above him.

He had enough; he swung his sword that was coated with his flames straight for Jimin's heart -it was common knowledge that the immortals could only be killed with the flames.

But right before his blade reached its target, Tae jumped in front of Chim protectively, making the blade run through his stomach instead.

Tae winced at the burning sensation and coughed up blood that trailed down his lips. He grunted when the sword was quickly pulled out but still he turned to Chim with a wide grin and shakily lifted his hands in a thumbs up.

"D-don't tell me you were about to die before you did what we planned?" He teased and then his legs gave out as he collapsed on his knees, making Chim grit his teeth.

"Y-you're such an idiot Tae..." he whispered harshly but Tae gave him a shaky smile back.

"A-at least I-I won against my opponents you weakshit..." he bragged and Chim glanced at the aftermath of Tae's destruction -the red flames had engulfed the body's of hundreds.

"N-now help the others out before it's too late..." he added on with a pointed look and then slumped roughly onto the ground.

Hyeonwoo smirked. "Hah! You guys still think you can catch up to your friends?" he asked incredulously but Jimin ignored him only watching how Taehyung's eyes fluttered shut and how only seconds later his breathing ceased.

Chim bit his lip. Stupid Taehyung, jumping in and saving his ass...Dammit...

He wouldn't let his death be in vain...
Chim looked up with a deadly glint in his eyes.

"...that's not what he meant" he muttered as he weakly pulled out two jars.

"Whoever made Joon's brain really was a genius" Chim thought and then he smirked.

Hyeonwoo's eyes widened when he realized what was in those jars; the color of both orange and gold flames -Wrath and Greeds flames, the two most destructive ones.

"You messed with the wrong people Hyeonwoo..." Chim wheezed out as the offending man reached forward.

"NO STO-"

Chim smashed the two bottles together and seconds later a blinding flash engulfed everyone as an explosion followed, shaking the entire building.

Kook stumbled forward at the sudden wave of shaking and he looked around him in alarm; things were getting out of hand and he needed to find his way out quickly.

"You should have told me!"

Kook froze. That voice...it couldn't be...it had come from around the corner.

He took off without thinking twice.

"What would that have achieved?" Joon argued back calmly and you glared even harder. "This wasn't what I wanted Joon!" you retorted and his composure broke slightly.

"This was what we wanted! And-"

"Y/N?!" a voice screamed out and Joon paused as a man rounded the corner.

You blanked out and your anger gradually dissipated. You knew that voice.

"K-kook?" you stuttered slowly and you turned to see the man you had been searching months for.

He took you straight into a hug and you stood frozen. You couldn't believe it...after so long he was finally here...

"What are you doing here?..." he whispered in awe and then shifted his focus on the two behind you.

Jin perked up. "Envy?" he asked unsurely and Kook narrowed his eyes.

"Who are you?" he asked back suspiciously and his hands blazed a dark green.

Jin smiled even wider now. "Damn, it really is him!" he said to Joon who had stared silently in his surprise.

"That's Wrath and Gluttony..." you murmurmed and Kook's jaw dropped.

"Huh?" was his intelligent response

The four of you were weaving your way through the building now and Kook's brow furrowed in disbelief.

"...so you're telling me that this entire time you had been looking for me? And you actually got...all the other Sins to help?" he questioned with an indescribable look after you had finished giving him a recap of what had happened, and you tentatively nodded.

Suddenly his fist hit your head and you scowled in pain "What the hell was that for?!" you screamed but he glared at you.

"I should be saying that! I can't believe you actually risked your life like that! What were you thinking? Do you realize how badly this could have ended??" he said in anger and you gave him an equally heated glare.

"I could say the same thing! You literally threw your life away for me and you have the nerve to get mad at me for doing the same?!" You screeched back and Jin laughed nervously.

"Now you two...this is really not the time for this..." he muttered while shooting Joon a look for help.

Namjoon sighed. "Jungkook" he muttered and hesitatingly the youngest man looked up.

He didn't know how he was supposed to behave around the other Sins...this was his first time seeing them in person and they seemed so different from what he had thought them to be...but if they survived living with you for a period of time then they had to be decent people right?

"Yeah?" he answered back anxiously, expecting a lash out or an attack.

So one could say he was completely caught off guard when a smile graced Wrath's lips.

"It's a bit too late to be grilling her out for saving your sorry ass isn't it?" he teased and Kook froze.

He stayed that way for a few more seconds and then broke out into a sheepish laugh. How refreshing.

It was true though; if you hadn't broken in with everyone and given Kook that moment to escape then...

He sighed and turned to you, realizing his fault. "...I'm sorry" he muttered and you smiled while shooting the other two a thankful look.

But the moment was short lived when the woman from earlier appeared before you.

"...I wouldn't be celebrating just yet if I were you~" she sung out wickedly and you flinched.

If she was here that meant that Yoongi and Hobi were...they were...

You felt an inscrutinable amount of anger build up because of that. "You bastard! What did you do?!" you demanded and Kook frowned, immediately sensing the gravity of the situation.

Joon and Jin stepped in front of you two. "You both need to run, now..." Jin ordered but you couldn't move.

And quite literally too, because your feet were planted firmly on the ground...

...no they were sinking

"W-what the..." you said in alarm and the dark pit dragged you downwards.

It wasn't just you however, but the other three were disappearing as well. Joon cursed and tried to get out but the woman tapped both him and Jin on the forehead with one finger that carried a flame and their eye's rolled to the back of their heads as they were then dragged under.

You watched in horror but then saw Kook's hand reached out to you desperately and you grabbed it firmly before you were entirely engulfed as well.

Everything went black after that

"-ke up...Y/N..."

You groaned when you felt someone stir you awake. Slowly your eyes peeled open and you saw Kook look down at you worriedly with a brief flash of relief.

He quickly pulled you in for a hug. "I-I'm fine Kook..." you muttered but your throat was dry.

What happened?

He gave you a somber frown and he peered around him with a dark look. "...this is where I first woke up...the day I became Envy..." he murmured and you froze.

If you were both here it meant that the man was around too.

"I'm glad you remember that Envy"

Your head whipped to the direction of where the sound came from and there a man stood, with an unreadable expression on his face.

Kook flinched. "I-I know what I've done but please...Let her go..." he said and without hesitating he got onto his knees.

You gasped. "Stop it! Don't beg him for anything" you hissed but Kook shot you a look that silenced you immediately.

It was desperate and full of fear. "Don't say another word...You have no idea what he can do to you..." Kook said, speaking into your mind.

The man smirked. "Listen to young Envy, girl. I wouldn't be so brash with your words; I've already taken care of the 6 others you turned against me." he muttered coyly and you felt your blood boil.

This was the man who had made the 7 men you had grown to cherish, suffer.

This was the man who had decided that he could play with people's lives.

This was the man who had killed everyone you had grown to admire.

You saw red. "Who the fuck do you think you are!" you screamed and Kook gaped in horror at your outburst.

Faster than you could blink, he appeared before you and his hand ripped straight through your chest, pushing through to your back and it took your body a second too slow to register that you had been stabbed.

The blood that gushed out had you choking.

Kook shot up in anger. "No! Why?!" he screamed and in his rage his hands glowed a menacing shade of green.

He snarled and turned straight to the man who had prolonged his suffering and he snapped.

However in his fury his moves grew sloppy and no matter how hard he tried none of his hits landed once; soon he was gripped painfully by the neck.

"Go to sleep Jungkook" The man whispered while tighening his hold and Kook's eyes fluttered shut.

"Dammit, Y-Y/N!" he screamed weakly as he watched you bleed out on the floor next to him.

He had failed to keep you safe

You watched Jungkook being held up by his neck and you begged your dying muscles to move

You coughed weakly and another spurt of the warm liquid that had once flowed through your veins to keep you alive, choked you.

Your chest was now weakly rising and a tear dropped, mixing together with the scarlet of your vital fluid.

You had failed to protect them all.

Your heart stopped.
