C. 24.

"Louis."

Your voice came out in a panicked tone as you watched the young boy slowly begin to stir into consciousness, his big, innocent eyes beginning to flutter open.

A soft groan left his lips as he slowly straightened his posture in the chair he was tied to, gaze moving around the room as he took in his new surroundings.

"W-What-"

"Don't panic." You soothed from beside him. "I need you to stay as quiet as possible. Do you think you can do that for me?"

You watched as he hesitantly nodded his head, eyes beginning to fill with tears.

You wanted nothing more than to hold him and tell him that everything was going to be okay, but the harsh truth was..you had no idea what was going to happen.

The two of you had been down there for three days.

Apparently these "great scientists" had no idea how to use chloroform appropriately and ended up overdoing it on Louis. His body was much smaller than your own, so it took him a few days to regain his full consciousness.

You were worried sick about him, listening for his breathing at all times.

You were terrified that he was going to die in this place. You refused to let that happen.

However, Louis being unconscious bought the two of you some time. Minhyuk and his friend-who's name you had come to learn was Baekhyun-couldn't complete their plan until Louis was awake, claiming that they wanted to look into his eyes when he died.

Now that Louis was awake, there was nothing to stop them from killing him, which meant you had to think of something....and fast.

You had heard numerous whispers about the two men selling you off to the highest bidder and they had even brought in a few potential "buyers", but when they learned who you were...they quickly withdrew their offers, not wanting to get involved with The Seven.

You couldn't blame them either, those men were dangerous.

"Wh-What's going to happen to us?"

Louis' shaky voice pulled you from your thoughts, causing your head to snap over to face him.

"Nothing." You said reassuringly. "I am going to get us out of this."

His bottom lip began to tremble.

"Wh-Where is my bubba?"

Your heart ached as you watched a few stray tears trail down his cheeks.

"He's going to come and get us." You lied, cursing yourself for getting his hopes up. "We will be alright-"

"Oh, I wouldn't count on that, if I were you."

Your eyes widened instantly as a new voice filled the air, interrupting your words.

Your gaze hesitantly trailed over to the two men who entered the room, wide smiles on both off their faces as they took in the sight of the newly awakened boy beside you.

You began to panic.

Instantly, your body shot into action, hands twisting and arching against the ropes that bound you, trying anyway possible to get free.

Minhyuk let out a chuckle as Louis began to cry harder, his small body shaking as the men approached him, the small syringe already in his hand.

You watched with horror as his gloved hands lightly tapped at the glass, teasing the young boy.

"You stay away from him!" You yelled, grasping the man's attention.

Minhyuk raised an eyebrow in amusement at your protests, his smile only widening.

"I'm just going to give him a shot." He purred, moving closer to the sobbing boy.

"I want to go home!" Louis cried. "I want my bubba!"

Baekhyun stepped forward, arms crossed over his chest.

"We don't always get what we want." He growled. "Your bubba will get what's coming to him, don't you worry."

Your fingers pulled at the knots of the rope that bound you, relief rushing through you as they began to loosen ever so slightly.

"He's a child!" You yelled. "He didn't do anything to you-"

Your head cracked to the side as Baekhyun's hand made harsh and sudden contact with your cheek, his expression one of annoyance.

"I'm tired of hearing you talk." He stated. "You're just his brother's whore. Nothing you say matters."

You clenched your jaw as your fingers began to work faster, hands trying to free themselves from their rope bindings.

"Y/n!"

Louis screamed your name, his legs kicking in frustration as he struggled against his own bonds.

"I-I'm okay." You spoke softly, ignoring the blood that began to trickle down the corner of your mouth.

Minhyuk chuckled, his shoulders shaking.

"There's no point in lying to the boy, he'll be dead in a few days anyway."

The brunette's eyes widened at his captures words, his body slowly coming to a halt.

"D-Dead?" He repeated, moving his gaze to you. "I don't wanna die."

Baekhyun frowned, leaning over the child.

"That's too bad, kid." He spat. "We all gotta die sometime. You should just feel lucky that you get to go so soon."

Your eyebrows crashed together in anger, tongue poking the inside of your cheek as you struggled to free yourself.

"It will only hurt for a second."

Louis watched with terror as the scary man slowly lowered the syringe filled with thick, red liquid, moving it closer and closer to his neck.

The young boy let out a loud cry for his older brother, squeezing his eyes shut as he waited for the pain.

As he waited to die.

Adrenaline shot through you as your ropes finally came loose, your hands now free.

Without hesitation, you outstretched your leg, kicking Baekhyun right in his "no-no zone".

Minhyuk was momentarily distracted by the loud cry of pain that came from his partner, his eyes widening as he processed your actions.

You used his distraction to your advantage, landing a hard punch on his jaw and kicking his side as he fell to the floor.

You grabbed the syringe from his hand, swallowing hard as you stared at the red liquid inside.

Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes before hastily placing the needling into your neck, allowing it's contents to enter into your body.

You let out a soft groan of pain, waiting until every last drop had entered your system before you pulled out the needle, throwing the syringe on the ground and watching as it shattered.

You turned to Louis.

You had to work fast.

You hastily untied his bonds and pulling him into your arms as soon as you had freed him.

He cried out in relief as you held him, legs shuffling away from the two men who slowly began to regain their composure.

Panic and adrenaline coursed through your veins as you ran up the stairs from the basement you had been trapped in for the past three days.

You pushed open the door that was located at the top of the stairs, harsh sunlight temporarily blinding you. Being in a basement for three days, your eyes had become adjusted to the darkness.

You hastily checked your surroundings, finding yourself in an alleyway behind a building.

You were relieved that you were still in the city. That meant help would be close by. The two of you now had a better chance of survival.

The sound of yelling caused you to begin to move again, legs carrying you faster than you ever thought possible. Louis' small body clung onto you desperately as you moved away from the building you had been trapped in.

His tears met the skin of your neck, causing your heart to clench.

You wanted to tell him everything was okay now.

But it wasn't the time for that.

You had to get out of there.

You had to run.

Your chest heaved with fear and panic as you rounded the corner, shoving your way through the dense crowds of people that lined the city streets. They all eyed you wearily as you ran past them, a few of them cursing loudly at you as you pushed past them.

You didn't care, though. You needed to get Louis to safety.

The poison you had injected yourself with mixed with the fact that you hadn't eaten in three days were beginning to take their tole, causing your head to pound and your vision to blur.

You knew that you wouldn't be able to go on running for much longer...You needed to find somewhere to hide.

Your eyes hastily scanned the area surrounding you, sounds of shouting and gunfire filling your ears.

You could feel your consciousness slowly beginning to slip away from you, making your situation worse.

That's when you saw a familiar building.

With a new-found determination, you continued to run through the crowd, legs carrying you until you reached the back entrance of your former place of work.

You hastily pushed in the key-code to the employees entrance, waiting for the light to flash green before shoving the door open and entering swiftly.

You mentally thanked god that the owner hadn't changed the code yet.

You knew that this place was highly elite an that even if your captures found out where you were, there was no way they'd be able to get into the building without taking the beating of their life first.

Your breathing was heavy as you stumbled up the stairs of the building, white spots beginning to fill your vision as you trudged in a familiar direction.

Your hand rubbed soothing circles on Louis' back as you stumble down the hallway, searching for the door you had come to know well during your many years working here.

A sigh of relief left your lips as you reached your destination, hands shoving the door open hurriedly.

Jung Hoseok's eyes never left the paper before him, as his office door opened, mind too concentrated on the blue-haired man before him.

The two had been in his office all day, making calls and trying to find your location. He and Yoongi had been working tirelessly for three days and he didn't have time to speak with anyone at the moment.

"Do you have an appointme-"

"Y-Y/n?"

The red-head's eyes snapped up at the sound of panic in Yoongi's tone.

Yoongi instantly shot into action upon seeing you, his body jerking forward as you entered the room, gently placing Louis down on the plush couch that rested in the corner.

"She's here?!" Hoseok yelled, standing up and rushing over to your weak figure.

Louis watched you with trembling lips, his hands reaching out, begging you to hold him again.

Knowing that the two ofyou were safe caused all adrenaline to leave your body, your muscles beginning to fail you slowly.

Yoongi grabbed your shoulders, eyes inspecting you closely.

"Y/n?" He said, urgency lacing his tone as he shook your body. "Y/n?!"

Those were the last words you heard before you lost all consciousness, your body going limp in Yoongi's arms.
