C. 23.
Park Jimin's brows were furrowed in frustration and confusion, his cold eyes set in determination as he entered the large conference room, hands adjusting the black tie that rested hung around his neck.
All he could feel was discomfort and suspicion as his gaze took in the numerous men that currently sat at the large, wooden table, their expressions neutral and calm as they watched him enter.
"Park."
Jimin's ears perked up as his name fell from the young man's lips, eyes instantly hardening into a glare.
"Jeon."
The two males stared each other down angrily, neither of them wavering from their spot as a thick blanket of silence fell over them.
After the numerous threats Jungkook had made to raven-haired man, it was a miracle that Jimin hadn't already emptied his loaded pistol into his brain.
The two men had never gotten along and they often tried their best to stay away from one another, especially when it came to business, but it seemed that the Jeon brat was beginning to get ballsy.
"Why am I here?"
Both men allowed their eye contact to break as a new voice filled the air.
Jimin's dark eyes moved to the doorway just in time to watch as Kim Seokjin made his entrance, his aura radiating anger and urgency.
"That's the question I've been asking for the past five minutes."
A heavy silence fell upon the room at the dark familiar presence that was made known so suddenly, causing everyone to freeze in their spot.
Jimin knew that voice.
He knew that voice a little too well.
He knew exactly who that voice belonged to.
Kim Namjoon.
The dirty blond mobster was seated at the head of the table, his feet propped up on the wooden surface and his eyes expressionless and void as he intertwined his fingers together under his chin.
Jimin wondered how he hadn't seen him before, but he knew just how good at blending in Kim Namjoon was...he was a former assassin after all.
Kim Namjoon brought carnage and death with him wherever he went. The raven-haired man even heard that he would never leave a room without killing someone first...something about it "making the room look better".
Jimin swallowed hard.
Jesus Christ. Someone is going to die tonight.
Namjoon raised an eyebrow as he watched Jimin take a step backwards, his eyes lowering to the ground under the dirty blond's gaze.
"I know you're all confused,"
Hoseok was the first to speak.
"But we have an emergency on our hands."
Jin scoffed.
"I have my own emergency to deal with at the moment."
"We know." Jungkook popped. "That's why we brought everyone here."
Namjoon raised a brow as Yoongi stood up, his hair hanging over his eyes as he stared at the table.
"Y/f/n Y/l/n is missing."
Jimin's eyebrows shot up in surprise and shock, his jaw going slack for only a moment.
Seokjin bounded towards the blue-haired killer.
"How do you know that?!" He roared. "Did you-"
"No." Yoongi interrupted calmly. "Although, I can see why you may think that."
Taehyung let out a long sigh as he ran his hand through his blond hair.
"We think one of Jeon's enemies are behind this." He stated. "They took his brother as well."
Seokjin's eyes snapped towards his younger brother, fury and rage filling his pupils.
"I should have guessed that you would be in on this!" He roared. "Blowing up my party wasn't enough?! You have to kidnap my princess as well!?"
Taehyung shrugged his shoulders, enjoying his brother's anger.
"I didn't take her." He said. "But I can assure you, if I did...I'd make sure to punish her for making me wait so long to touch her-"
"Don't talk about her like that." Yoongi growled lowly.
"Shut your mouth." Jin snapped coldly. "I'll make sure you never get to put your filthy hands on her!"
The blond smirked, crossing his arms.
"Enough." Hoseok interjected firmly. "This is getting us nowhere."
Jimin stepped forwards.
"What exactly do you want from us?" He inquired.
The red-head sighed heavily, glancing at Yoongi before turning his attention back to Jimin.
"We need your help."
Namjoon tilted his head, interest piqued.
"Why would we help you?" Jin asked.
Yoongi frowned.
"You want to find her, don't you?"
Jin chuckled coldly.
"I am perfectly capable of doing that on my own."
"Oh really?" Taehyung chimed. "Then why haven't you found her yet?"
Seokjin's words were cut off by the silver-haired man that stood beside his brother.
"Whoever took them has managed to keep their location away from prying eyes. Between Taehyung, Min, Jung and I...we still don't produce enough resources to find where they've been taken....The only way to find her is all of us working together....If we use our head and-"
"What happens after that?"
The room fell quiet at Namjoon's deep voice, numerous eyes watching as he slowly rode from the chair he had been occupying.
"W-What?" Jungkook stuttered our, shocked.
Namjoon raised a brow, walking over to the mini-bar that was placed on the other side of the room.
"What happens after we find the girl?" He repeated, pouring whiskey into a small, crystal glass.
Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed at the question, his eyes darting around nervously.
"I-I don't-I'm not sure."
Yoongi's eyes narrowed on Namjoon's form, his mind already beginning to see exactly where the younger mob boss was going.
"We bring her back to her family." He stated lowly. "Safe and sound."
Namjoon hummed, taking a slowly sip of the bitter liquid in his glass before moving towards the other six men that watched him.
"Why should I put in any effort if I don't get anything out of it?" He asked smoothly, eyes locking with Yoongi's.
The assassin growled.
"What?" He spat.
"If I put in effort for this..If I produce results and use my own resources, shouldn't I be compensated in some way?" He said.
"And how exactly would you like to be compensated?" Jimin asked bravely, anger beginning to swell within his being.
Namjoon chuckled loudly, his shoulders shaking.
"We're all grown men." He stated. "Surely you understand what I would want in return for rescuing her-"
"Absolutely not." Yoongi growled, his fists clenching. "She isn't your sex toy, Namjoon, she's a real person. I will not let you have your way with her just because you spared a few extra men."
Namjoon quirked a brow at his former friend's behavior.
"You've already grown attached?" He asked.
Yoongi nodded.
"Yes. I have grown attached to her and I'm telling you that her body is not for sale-she is not for sale."
The dirty blond chuckled.
"Then we are in a pickle." He laughed. "Because I have also grown attached to the young thing and we both know how fond I am of my toys."
"She isn't your toy." Jimin spat. "Min is right. You will not lay a hand on her."
"None of you will." Jin interjected. "When we find her, she's coming back to live with me."
A snort came from the blond on the other side of the table.
"Yeah right." Taehyung said.
Jin frowned.
"She was safe with me!" He roared. "None of this would have happened if I had just made her stay at the house!"
Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"You kept her in that place like a pet, Jin. She wasn't happy."
The older male huffed.
"So what?" He asked. "You want us to just let her go back to her miserable life?!"
Taehyung smiled widely.
"I never said that we should let her go." He stated.
Jimin eyed the two.
"Are you suggesting we all take turns with her?" He asked.
Jungkook's brows crashed together.
"She's not an object." He popped. "She's a human being and right now she's in danger. All of you are wasting precious time by arguing over something that doesn't matter. The important thing is that we get her and Louis to safety as quickly as possible. If you're going to help us, that's great, but if not...Get out."
Jimin crossed his arms over his chest, glancing around the room.
"Looks like the Jeon brat has some balls." He commented. "I'm willing to help, but only if everyone agrees that we don't let her go until we decide what to do with her."
Yoongi took a deep breath, his jaw clenching.
"Fine." He gritted. "I can live with that."
Seokjin nodded his head in agreement.
"I'm in too."
All eyes fell onto Kim Namjoon, who casually sipped on the whiskey in his glass, his aura coming off as nonchalant.
"Are you in or not?" Taehyung asked boredly.
Namjoon finished off the brown liquid, gently placing the glass down onto the wooden table.
"I suppose so." He said. "It's better than leaving my toy's safety in your hands."
Yoongi clenched his jaw.
"If this is going to work, we need to be able to share information with each other. No holding out. We find her together or not at all. Understand?"
Everyone nodded in sync.
"Good." Yoongi popped. "Everyone continue your searching, we've got a lot of ground to cover...
And we don't have much time."
